The young man at reception failed to give us the correct instructions for the room so we had to make 2 trips to reception to get our room. Clean and comfortable room. Big negative point: unable to see through the windows of this one on the other hand. Even trying to wipe with a towel, photo to support. The view from the hotel front room overlooks an industrial sector. Dogs are allowed at this hotel and since we have some at home we thought it was great, even if we hadnt brought them with us. ERROR, our neighbors from a few rooms further away had brought theirs and he woke us up at 6:40 a.m. and barked for a good thirty minutes. The masters both went to lunch and did nothing, as did the staff. When they returned, the owners were unable to stop him from barking so at 7:30 a.m. we left for the dining room, unable to have peace in our room. We were traveling to celebrate our 15th birthday and to relax. The lady in the dining room was really rude. She invaded everyone, spoke loudly and even shook her tip jar vigorously and said loudly yeah, there arent many tips in the morning!, in order to encourage people to give some, then she goes around all the tables to find out our level of satisfaction in a very intrusive way. She then spoke about the lack of electricity in the hotel which meant that she had to watch us wait for our toast in the toaster because an industrialist would cause a short circuit. No one asked to have a conversation with her because she was so unpleasant but she imposed her ideas on us. We do not recommend it and will not return. This spoiled the end of our romantic trip.

A clean and still quite quiet place. Located very close to a Normandin restaurant and a convenience store. 2 minutes from the highway. Too bad we cant see the river from here. Me and my friends were there last October 22 after returning from hunting. We had A1 service - Your reception clerk Jean this evening gave us outstanding service and it was very easy to chat with him. And easy to access, he made sure we didnt miss anything. We went to eat in a restaurant on foot, not far from your motel. And the next morning, the A1 breakfast (very good and very clean), served by a lady who was in a good mood at her post. We even met a cleaning lady in the morning around 7:00 a.m. who was in a good mood and easy to talk to. And in the morning, at reception, there were 2 members of your staff and they were very courteous and made sure we needed nothing. In short, we liked the place so much, including the courteous and welcoming welcome from Jean and your other employees, and the quality of the service and meals, that we will return there when we return from our hunting expeditions. Congratulations to the whole team, and if all the staff were courteous and smiling, it is surely because the manager(s) treat their employees well. Well done. Pierre Millette

I forgot some valuables in my room (around $1000 in value) as it was early and their was some confusion among my family. When I realized what had happened we had already left, so I called the front desk and a gentleman picked up and after hearing my problem told me to call back later. I called back later and then a lady said they had not found anything. *Update* A couple weeks later they called and said they found the items during a deep clean of the room and express shipped them out to me. Very happy with how this ended.

The room were ok. The front guy desk was very rude. Got two complaints because we were talking and watching the hockey game(sound was off) before 10 pm.

Danny at the front desk was excellent!! We needed some blankets washed as we were traveling from Ontario with two puppies and he took care of that for us also had an issue with the tv and right away fixed the problem ! Super friendly staff all around the woman working breakfast was also very nice and efficient making sure we were well taken care of and fed for our long day of driving to Halifax. Rooms were clean and comfortable so thank you to the housekeeping staff as well.

For us traveling from central Ontario to Cape Breton, this has been a great place to stop for the evening. We have enjoyed each stay and plan on a few more stays.

Stayed here on our trip out to PEI. It was clean and comfortable. No frills hotel. The breakfast had a good selection too. They have sliding doors on the main level so you can park right in front of your room to unload. This was key to us as we have 3 kids under 4 (aka A LOT OF STUFF). Our room had 2 doubles and we were able to fit a pack n play in between them. I would say our room would easily accommodate another pack n play if needed.

As we entered, no attention at all to our 2yo daughter saying hi, quite rude in general. Rooms on ground level looked empty from outside and so we asked and were told no, given a room in the way back top corner. Then asked about the possibility of having some clothes cleaned as we read another review who had DOG BLANKETS washed, but heaven forbid a 2yo who got sik on themselves could get a quick wash. Oof. Reviews here dont match reality. Happy it was great for you all but, beware.

Stopped here in the middle of a long road trip. It was exactly what we needed. Clean room, comfy bed, pet friendly, close to gas stations, and restaurants. Would recommend, although we paid a little more than I would have expected to. Seems like all hotels are more pricey this time of year.

Lets be honest. You need a clean place to stay with friendly staff for the night (at a good price). Dont think twice, just book here. I was charged $89 before tax for Double Occupancy room (2-Adults). Staffing prepare a wonderful breakfast in a take-away bag (after checking a list off what you want). Everyone was friendly as could be! Wake up right next to the beautiful St.Lawrence while youre at it. Very clean rooms, Keurig machine with fresh coffee and the water runs hot in the bathrooms. Clean beds, great TV and overall a wonderful budget stay. This was the best stop on my Cross Canada road trip en route to NB. Would definitely stay here again if needed or even on a fishing trip to the Lawrence! Beautiful town too.

My husband and I always use this hotel on our way to and from work as we are essential workers . The hotel is clean , all of stays the staff has been great . One big issue no English signs in hotel , the menus they have to order take out are all French . We ask the the young lady to help us , she said go on line they are English , sorry they were still French . She was of no help , seem to be annoyed when I ask her to help . We will not use this hotel again for that reason. It s nice to be kind to people it go a long way .

Great place

From our first night in Regina to our last night here in Rivière-du-Loup this was my favourite hotel stay. It looks modest from the outside but the rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff were super friendly and they had the best Covid to-go breakfast. The area was nice, somewhere we wouldnt mind visiting again post-pandemic to have a nice walk around. I like having access to my room straight from the parking lot because its the easiest way to bring everything inside over night.

Conveniently located across a Normandin Restaurant, this is a basic family friendly hotel. While the free Breakfast offers a limited selection of items and you have to chose one per Category (orange or banana; water, milk apple or orange juice; bagel or cereal; oatmeal or cereal; and cold sandwich with meat or vegetarian), it was plenty. We were also offered extra coffee. Had to figure out the fridges colder setting as there werent any indications on it, and the front desk help wasnt trained on it. We also found a couple ants in the bathroom and on the carpet.

We paid for 4 people with a bed and a sofa bed... the sofa bed was a single bed... we had a camp bed... the rooms smelled of old cigars... and we only got 3 lunch all this for $200 an excessive price for the service and facilities!!!

Covid review. Used as a base of exploration of Riveire du Loup region. Centrally located, 6 min to downtown and 6 mins to ferry. Right beside on the highway access. The inn was fully booked. 50% by trades. So parking lot look a lot like your local hydro substation. Service. Rooms were not cleaned as long as you checked in the room. Due to Covid health protocol. All the restaurants in the walking distance close at 2200. So grocery store is your friend. The breakfast was issued to you in the morning at the cafeteria in paper go bag. If you used cups, tea, coffee, towels and created garbage, its your responsibility to make arrangement to replenish. Rooms are still charged at full price

I paid $240. for one night, No swimming pool no gym, no elevator nothing. The young girl, not a woman, at reception was absent when we arrived. When she introduced herself, I asked her if there was a swimming pool. No, she told me, Its only to sleep here. I asked if there was a Maxi, she told me he wasnt that backwards. No customer service, doesnt answer the phone

Very pleasant stay! The hotel is very clean and the bed ensures restful sleep. The staff is not very friendly, but everything else has redeemed the quality of the hotel. A mini fridge, coffee maker, TV and microwave are on site. The room is spacious and the bed is, again, so comfortable. Several restaurants and grocery stores available nearby. I will come back during my next stay!

No elevator. Elderly guests were struggling with luggage trying to navigate the stairs. Breakfast ended in the garbage. I wont be back.

Good place to stay. Fridge, microwave coffee maker in the room. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. During the pandemic, its a bagged breakfast. A small muffin,juice, yogurt and an orange. The fresh fruit was a pleasant touch.

Front desk girl tried to upsell us, but my wife countered with the fact that they advertised a suite for much less. This must have annoyed her as she wasnt very welcoming.
