This is our go-to place to stop and rest our heads when we travel between the Maritimes and Ontario. Why? Several things are noteworthy: 1. Let’s start with geography - adjacency to the Hwy 20 (Quebec) - Hwy 85 (New Brunswick) junction. 2. Next: scenery - you’ll curl up in two oversized armchairs and look out floor to ceiling windows at the St. Lawrence River at sunset. (See photos - a perfect way to de-stress after the drive.) 3. Then there’s the room: enormous! Sofa, armchairs, coffee table, desk, dresser, and end tables are all modern, tastefully appointed and very functional. 4. A king-size bed with a truly wonderful, soft yet supportive mattress and superb sheets and cases. 5. Nice-to-haves: include a microwave, coffee machine, and fridge (in a separate area opposite a 10’ double bathroom vanity with waterfall taps, plenty of thick towels and facecloths, and lots of shelf space) a large clothes closet with a door to tuck away your things - not an open rod - and two lovely white bathrobes. 6. Blackout curtains help if you like to sleep in and leave late. 7. And a thoughtful, tiny touch: a doorstop. Yep. For anyone, like me, who struggles holding a door ajar while loading/unloading, this was a stop-and-smile moment. Told me someone who knows tired travellers planned that. Much appreciated. But it’s always the little things, isn’t it? 8. Last, but not least, a separate room with a door (again) offers privacy for both toilet and shower. And this room, too, in its own right is HUGE. Especially nice if you’re room sharing, and shy. 9. It’s not worn-out, tired, and shabby. Overall, this is a modern property with ceilings 10-11’ high. There’s a Starbucks in the lobby, as well as 2 on-site, upscale eateries. 10. And to cap off everything else I mentioned: helpful staff and lots of secure, on-site parking for anyone hauling a trailer (like us). Have a look at the photos. Make this the next new place you try. It will soon become a favourite. Applause all around for Hotel Levesque! 👏🏻
What a beautiful hotel! Very clean, quiet. The king bed was so soft! Room was very big with an amazing view. The check-in kiosks were an added bonus! We'll definitely be booking here when coming through this area again.
Stayed at the Hotel Levesque on a drive from Quebec City to New Brunswick. Great contemporary property with good rooms, ample parking and s starbucks. Stayed in room 421 whuch had a nice view to the river. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant La Griffe which was excellent, and breakfast the folllowing morning.
Stayed one night on my way to Moncton. The updates to the property are very nice, and most of all I loved the doorstop to my room - no more heavy hotel room doors slamming shut on you while trying to wrestle your luggage into the room. I love when there's plug ins and USB ports right on the lamps on the desk and next to the beds. Also love the huge vanity to spread out my travelling toiletries case! The bed was too soft but still managed to sleep okay. Starbucks fans will LOVE the Starbucks right in the lobby next to the elevators.
I booked a room and drove for five hours, only to be told upon arrival that there were no rooms available. They gave me two options: either sleep in my car or stay in a Motel they found for me. I made it clear that a Hotel and a Motel are not the same, and I refused to stay in a Motel. It's not my fault there was no room! In the end, I had to leave the hotel with my child at around 12:30 AM to find another suitable place to stay. The staff were incredibly rude, and this is not how you solve a problem! I don’t know how they treat other customers, but as far as I’m concerned, they don’t meet the standards of their star rating at all! I’d give them a negative rating 100 times if I could! Beware if you’re thinking of booking with them—they are dishonest and very deceitful!!
The service provided at the front desk was very good. It was very nice to have a Starbucks in the lobby. The room was also very clean. However we barely slept for the night due to the location of the AC. It is right beside the bed and blows directly onto our head, it was also very loud. Since the blanket is quite thick, if we turn it off it is too hot to sleep. The whole night we were up turning on and off the AC.
We have stayed at this hotel many times, we have never been disappointed. The rooms are large, clean and quiet. The Front Desk staff are always so helpful. Highly recommend this hotel for a stopover or extended stay. We had arrived fairly late in the day and were told the restaurant would be closing shortly. The restaurant staff were very helpful, did not rush us, even though we knew they were at the end of their shift. Bravo to all concerned.
We made a muck up of our booking prior to arrival with our dates. However, after emailing with Pierre he fixed everything for us - he was absolutely wonderful. A credit to the hotel.|Stayed for 4 nights in a room with king bed and ocean view. The view is worth the extra cost as the sunsets are stunning. The room itself was modern and well fitted with a very comfortable bed. Also fairly spacious and plenty room for suitcases, etc. Aircon worked very well.|We didn't eat breakfast in the restaurant but there is an onsite Starbucks on the ground floor. However, we did dine in both the restaurants. Interestingly, the menus for both are almost identical in terms of choice AND price. The restaurant has a nice upmarket feel where, as you would expect, the bistro is far more casual plus has the option of outside seating. The food is of very good standard. Another dining option is a restaurant next door to the hotel - Le Saint-Patrice - excellent food and service.|Overall a great stay in a hotel with excellent staff.

We just got to our room...extremely disappointed...the girl at the front desk not very polite. She gives us room 231 at $150 + taxes...phew at the other end of the hotel in an old section. We wanted a big bed, a small bed. Not really clean. We have been going to this hotel for several years and always good...times change...photos attached
The restaurant is very good, both for dinner and lunch. Regarding the rooms: - we could easily do without the carpet on the floor - it would be necessary to dust the radiator grille - sheets with holes, no matter how small, should not be used again

I had a room near an exit. It smelled of cigarettes. I dont know if its due to the exit or the carpet. The air conditioning system was noisy. I dont think Ill go back there.

Hotel Levesque is a great Hotel! Friendly staff and very clean. The food was excellent I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back for snowmobile season. Thank you Hotel Levesque.
Very nice room with a view of the river.
Very poor reception from the hostess at the restaurant of the Hotel La Griffe, Monday dining room 90% empty, no reservation, you dont eat. We went to the sports cage. Spend 700.00 lol. On the other hand, the waitress at bar 171 of the hotel saved the day. Magnificent hotel, with beautiful, well-appointed, clean and modern rooms. Well located, close to the town center of Rivière du Loup. The view of the river is breathtaking.
Room too far from restaurant and entrance
The staff we dealt with could hardly have been more unhappy people. We did not feel welcome in the least. I hope it had nothing to do with us being English-speakers, but the staff made no attempt to conceal their sour attitudes. We advise that you avoid this establishment if you expect to be treated with even the most basic courtesy.

Very disappointed with my Nordic spa experience. I wont go back there. There was a family making a lot of noise and the girl at reception didnt intervene. Also, she left in the middle of the afternoon and I no longer had access to the rest room, the only place to have silence and not hear the family chatting. I found it really ordinary to be kicked out of this room. We were also kicked out of the baths at 4:00 p.m. even though we didnt have much time to enjoy it.
Random stains observed on curtains. Not many restaurants near by. Front desk staff was the only redeeming quality of this hotel. Food and drinks: Not many options for restaurants. Uber eats doesnt work here.

If you expect a 4 star hotel facility and service, then you will be disappointed! Considering to the price I paid on second week of August 2024, I could have better options in Riviere Du Loup.

We rented a room for a brunch. Very nice place with an experienced waitress who loves customer service. I dont remember the last time I received service like that. I ate until I rolled on the ground. In short, I highly recommend
We arrived at the hotel late after a 10 hour day on the road. The room was well appointed for the price point, immaculately clean, the linens lovely and the bed very comfortable. Much attention has gone into the details that make a difference and Housekeeping and the overworked restaurant and kitchen staff are the stars of the show here. I had dealings with two people at reception. The woman who checked us in was pleasant. We were too road weary to dine out so I was relieved to be advised that room service was available. No one would pick up the phone at either of the restaurants and I had to to down anyway. A little difficult to find, I asked the other woman at reception about the restaurants location and she waved her hand vaguely, clearly annoyed to be bothered by a paying guest. I discovered a packed bar and a restaurant with a few tables filled AND two young women struggling to manage all of it from bartending to serving both food and cocktails, never stopping for a moment. When finally one of them had time to acknowledge me, she was quite curt, saying they were understaffed that evening and could not provide room service. I was advised that she would call the room and I would have to come and pick the order up. Seeing the scene, no problem at all. I understood and left a sizeable sympathy tip. They ended up delivering a tray anyway as unbeknownst to us the phone in the room wasnt ringing. Im so happy to read that other guests were super pleased with Pierre. He was very helpful over the phone when I made the reservations, but upon check out the following morning I was surprised to find Basil Faulty from the BBC vintage series Faulty Towers. He never spoke a word. Seriously, no exaggeration at all. I think he grunted a couple of times. He stared imperiously at me as if, Good morning! Id like to check out please. May I please have a print out of my bill, was an absolute annoyance and definitely an interference with whatever movie was playing in his head. Seriously? Not even a polite acknowledgement. Not a hello. Not a good morning. Certainly not a glimmer of a smile on his face. No I hope you enjoyed your stay, or bye-bye...have a nice day. Nothing, nada, not a word. Just a grumpy, surly faced whatever. Maybe hes just good on the phone. So overall? 5 stars to the cleaning staff and the servers in the restaurant. Kudos to you all. I have never stayed in a cleaner space, well done! And hats off to the young women run off their feet in the bar/restaurant. 2 stars to the location. They advertise being on the river and have pictures of glorious river views. Theyre actually across a busy road in a commercial area. If you want whatever water view is, then request it as our view was of the back alley and parking lot. We didnt care as it was just a dark stopover, certainly not a destination, but you might. It was however, easy to access from the highway which is why Ive given 2 rather than 1 star. 2 stars to the women at reception because at the very least they spoke (and gestured). Ive given 2 rather than 1 because the first woman spoke and smiled. 0 stars to Pierre because when youre the front line? Check your attitude or personal story at the door. If you are in such a bad place that you cant be even remotely pleasant, then call in sick. It would be more prudent to treat your guests with courtesy and respect. We are after all, the people who keep your hotel in business. Rooms: Super clean. Spotless and comfortable. Ours was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

Im quite pleased that we chose this hotel over its competitors in Riviere-du-Loop. The hotel was the cleanest, quietest, best laidout, most spacious room, best view, best shower that weve had on our trip. We would 100% choose this place again next time we come this way.
First hotel , if not a so called 4-star hotel that doesn t provide basic necessities like a water bottle. The garbage bin didn t have a liner. The staff was rude and wanted me to go to the gym every time I wanted water. What a joke!

Nothing to complain about, this hotel offers all the expected service, I just take one star from the comfort room for the slightly dated furniture but thats just a detail, the rest PERFECT! Great view of the Saint Laurent! Thank you very much to the amazing staff!!! Nearby activities: Free falls park to see and very pleasant walk along the Saint Lawrence! Very cute town center offering shops of all kinds., more modern area also with shopping arcade.

Nice hotel, well located. Reasonable price but not so affordable ($225/night) basic room. Gym (ridiculous) but was able to help out if necessary although the equipment is obsolete and/or broken. Tiny pool but nice if you want to take a little dip. Room of good size and clean (nothing negative) Welcoming and friendly staff. Starbucks right in the hotel which we appreciated.

We booked three days in a row. When we arrived, there was 10% of a roll of toilet paper and 3 tissues left. There are 5 of us. I had to call. The next day, no cleaning service so no toilet paper, no tissues, no towel. Otherwise, the restaurant is very good and the drapery is good. Very good customer service.

We had a wonderful stay and experience here while looking to get a room last minute in person. The gentleman at the front desk was so helpful, even offering to call the days Inn down the street when he thought there was nothing available. He did find us the last available room and was so helpful with check-in. Thank you for your help with fitting us in so late!
Well equipped and clean room but noisy air conditioning and stained extra pillow. Lots of holes filled in a rather unsightly way in the corridors. But the hotel is generally pretty, the welcome is good and the presence of a Starbucks in the lobby is a little extra.

Impeccable service and cleanliness but Starbucks takes advantage of customers by inflating the prices of the chain and other cafes in Quebec in addition to not taking into account discounts.
Beautiful hotel but unfortunately because of lack of transparency regarding a refund we were promised and numerous attempts to reach out to staff/management to resolve the issue with no phone calls returned, I cannot recommend this hotel. Its unfortunate because you can tell they put a lot of work into building a state of the art facility but clearly work still needs to be done on the customer service side.

Really nice hotel with a Starbucks in the foyer. For a bit extra the views of the St Lawrence are spectacular and youre just a couple kms from Parc a Chutes which is a beautiful trail system.

Impeccable welcome. Room (242) small but above all poorly furnished: 2 queen beds and almost no storage. Good luck if there are 4 of you. With two of you it was a bit tight. In the bathroom there is no heating, so the floor is icy in winter. the hotel corridors are also very cold. the rooms are clean, nothing more. No coffee refill when they redid the room. On Sunday only the buffet is available. If you are a little hungry, have lunch elsewhere.

Several problems from the first night refrigerator which smells a mixture of urine and cat litter and very very dirty coffee maker for this type of hotel which focuses on cleanliness it is very disappointing

We stayed here for a night with family. The rooms are nice and hotel location is amazing. Overall I think this one of the best hotel la in town. However I feel management is missing the mark on the following points, hence the one star review 1. Access to jacuzzi is $30 per person which in many many years of my travels I have never heard or seen. 2. Our room had 2 queen beds for one of them sheet was not changed and I found hair all over. Clearly someone had slept in it and sheets were not changed. 3. Rooms are completely NOT sound proof. Every time someone is passing in the hallway you hear everything. Our room was far from the elevator even then we could hear every one passing in the hallways since 2 in the morning while some ppl were coming from parting. Purpose I highly recommend for the management to note of these observations and make necessary changes for future growth and maintenance of this hotel.
Loved the customer service I received! Shout out to Ludovick Trottier! I do not speak any French and was very embarrassed and uncomfortable but this gent made me feel at home got me food and drinks while serving a bunch of other people at the same time! I actually stayed across the street in the little cottage type rooms was perfect for anyone just resting after a long drive, all the rooms seemed to have been recently renovated, and the staff at front desk were amazing as well great experience! Would recommend to others! Food and drinks: The food was great! Prepared in a reasonable time and wonderful presentation! Salmon tar-tar was really good!

Shown 4 stars I dont know why. The kitchen service is worth no more than 3 stars, the rooms and what is there 2 to 3 stars. Stayed 3 days and 2 nights no sheets even the towels were not changed not a bottle of water, my room overlooked the main entrance or during part of the evening trucks of all kinds parked in front of my window and made noise

Hotel was great but had quit the experience at the restaurant bar I ask to sit outside on patio she said no reservations and they were full but the couple behind me got a table right away outside ... waitress was really snoty and rude with me then after my supper she had the urge to ask me and get mad at me why I wasnt giving her a tip ... very poor service so sad

Very new hotel Unfortunate lack on some key components of a hotel room - extremely noisy through wall mounted heat pump. The vibrations from it are unbelievable I could feel it in bed while I was not able to fall back asleep Then, the bed. Definitely not the standard for a high end hotel. My back hurt from how mushy it was. Not a box spring type. Looks like a cheap Ikea bed, really. At $300 plus a night ! We paid for a room with a view. Mey The rest was fine. Had to stop on the way back to Montreal, the hotel was very nice, the room was confortable with a great view of the river. The pool was enjoyable and the bar was the perfect way to end the night.

We stayed at the Hotel Levesque on Canada Day 2023. The beds are comfortable and the view was okay but when we went to have a shower before bed there was no hot water .none. When we informed the front desk at checkout we were told they were aware of the problem . We were offered a 6% discount on our room rate and were promised a phone call from the front desk manager when they arrived. In the end we didn t receive the call nor did we receive a discount. We won t be going back.

This is a gorgeous hotel. Very quiet and comfortable. BUT not for business travellers. No business centre + when a 1/2 hour extension was requested to finish a meeting we were denied. They were very happy to have us work in the lobby! Also be prepared as breakfast ends at 10! Front lobby staff were unable to direct us to local breakfast spots.

Very nice place and superb rooms as well as the staff. Only one downside and a big one! The room was reserved and paid for by an agency in advance and we were asked for a deposit of 200 dollars which, according to the reception staff, we would be given back within 5/10 days...I find the deplorable process and it was a quick visit to the room on the morning of departure which saved us from this forced deposit! A big thank you to the reception staff but the management of the hotel is not correct. The response from the hotel which does not appear here told me that it was common in all hotels... no sir, a few rare hotels have practiced it but never with the amount that you wanted to force on us! I stand by my opinion: great hotel but I dont recommend it!
Its a great location. Nice newish hotel. Has a starbucks for coffee in the morging. We booked this via Expedia and got a room with a view over the back parking lot. We could not change the room the due to Expedia booking with the front desk - better to book directly. Make sure U book lake side eg odd room numbers. The bed was super/too soft and the room was hot. Rooms a nice tho. Bar and resturant are great. They have a lovely patio to see sunset with a drink before dinner. We had the salmon trio appetizer which was excellent . The steak frites was so so ... Martins were awesome and they have a great wine selection. Its a good location for a weekend. Iga grocery is just around the corner
Hotel is o.k., some rooms are quite dated and even though it is clean, it definitely needs an upgrade.
We stayed here after the August long weekend heading towards East Coast. Electric charging stations. Wheel chair accessible. Nice walk out area. Plenty of parking spots. Service: We checked-in our room using self-serve. The printer didnt have paper, so we took a picture of the room number and waited for the room keys to be printed. However, we eventually received help from the service desk (maybe the manager) who refilled the paper. Enjoyed the self checked in online and on site. If you needed help, there were people at the front desk. The elevator to the floors are located in front of the Starbucks cafe. We went up and down the hotel looking for the elevator but I guess we missed the sign. The main floor of the hotel looked modern and nice which doesnt reflect on their rooms and hallways. Room: True, the hotel rooms needed an update but it was a lot better than the other hotel we usually stayed in the area. Our room was facing the river with a beautiful sunset with the parking lot below. The AC can be controlled inside the room, so we were able to turn at the temperature where we can get some sleep without the AC cranking at night. The bathroom and shower - lovely to be used except for the water tap as being spilled during usage. Bed - comfortable. Wi-fi and fridge - accessible inside the room. Restaurant: We went for early breakfast at the restaurant upstairs. Service was quick and food was great. The homemade strawberry jam was a hit for both of us. There is also a Starbucks coffee shop - not available to pre-order on the Starbucks app, so prepare to wait in line. Checkout - Checked out by the email but we stopped at the front desk to confirm the checked out and payment. Glad we did as we didnt receive an email to confirm our checked out nor total payment. Recommendations: Update the hallway and rooms and install a couple of water stations within the hotel.
Nice room, a little noisy (especially when the hotel is full). The service is only done every 3 days (no information during check-in) and even if you put the sign on your door, the staff does not clean the room... Original concept!
Really nice and modern hotel with a surprisingly good restaurant. A great place to stay for us when we go down east.
Very good hotel, the bed is super comfortable. The air conditioning was a little old, impossible to adjust, we turned it off. Buffet breakfast.
We stayed 2 different nights on the same trip to NS. 2nd night we were given a room that reaked of cigarette smoke. Complained and a staff member came up to the room sniffing as she walked through. She said she could not smell anything like smoke. I insisted it is in the carpet & furniture. She brought us new keys for a different room and I asked if she was a smoker. Sure enough, she was a smoker and therefore could not smell the horrible ashtray smell throughout the room. Yuck! We will never stay there again!
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Our daughter was happy they had a Starbucks inside the hotel.
We were in transit and were lucky that there was still a room available. Very friendly service and well-equipped rooms!
Food and drinks: Not many food options around Rooms
Checked in to a dirty room, with glasses that were dirty, ice still in the ice bucket from the previous guest. There was so much frost in the room s freezer that it was impossible to use, and there was litter on the floor, including the envelope for storing room cards from the previous occupant. When we asked to move due to the unclean room, they were very quick to move us over, granted we already brought all of our bags and 2 x crib / Pack n Play for our children to sleep, so we had to completely pack up again. The second room we moved to also had not been vacuumed, with litter on the floor, and also had the previous occupant s room key envelope still sitting out on the desk. Is that a huge deal? No. Is it indicative of poor cleaning? yes. This is our go-to hotel for our trips, and I have never seen it in such poor shape.
Worst service! My room was at the top of a Christmas party! I was literally waiting for the host to liven up the evening! I called to change rooms and was told to go buy some earplugs!

Nice clean spacious rooms. Cold breakfast was good with lots of options. Semi close to the airport. There are a couple of fast food places close by. Not much else is walkable. Front desk was very accommodating and friendly. Spoke English.
The restaurant dishes were not good.
Great decor throughout. Excellent food and wine choices. Beautiful setting. Reasonably priced.
EV chargers (complimentary), restaurant was fantastic, room was very nice. Hotel was clean. Perfect!

A memorable dinner, excellent food, as always.
Nice welcome. Warm atmosphere. Impeccable cleanliness. excellent breakfast and very smiling and friendly hostess. The downside? At check-out, only one employee at reception on the phone. No one except me at the counter and I had to wait more than 12 minutes (doing the green plant) to hand over the keys. Only question from the attendant? Ask me if I wanted to receive my invoice by email. Really disappointing. Another fact. the amount of the room reservation applied to my credit card is still in reserve on my card since November 2 (it is November 14) while the total bill was charged in full on the same date on said map
Chambre très confortable, nous avons très bien dormi. Cependant, c est décevant d apprendre par des amis présents en même temps que nous que le rabais CAA leur a été offert à leur arrivée. Quand nous en avons parlé à la réception, on nous a dit qu il était trop tard. Je considère que nous aurions dû l avoir aussi, c était à eux d en parler.
Beautiful hotel, clean and cozy room, very big for one person, 2 queen beds, big modern shower, good and fresh breakfast, good service. Was good to have some real milk for room coffee. Maybe this will change. Thank you. Rooms: Clean, not so old.
