C était une première visite pour tout le monde et tout le monde a grandement apprécié. Tout était délicieux. Si nous revenons à RDL c est certain que nous reviendrons à L Estaminet. Very disappointed with my experience. I ordered a filet migon. The requested cooking was medium-rare and I was served it well done. There was also a lot of pulling in the piece of meat. It really wasnt good. The bill was steep for this poor quality meal. Considering the overall high review rating, I wonder if I made the wrong choice on the menu.

We arrived without a reservation and they offered to wait at the bar and within minutes we had a table for two. The service, the atmosphere, the food everything was excellent.

I ate the cod dish which was excellent, but the homemade mash was simply disgusting. It would be good to display the ingredients of the mash (normally a homemade mash is made with potatoes or carrots, and thats what I expected) to prevent others from being disappointed by this abomination. Unfortunately, all the ingredients on the plate were soaked in this puree. The waitress was very nice, but advised people not to give their leftovers to a man (possibly homeless) because he looked strange (probably intoxicated). His haughty demeanor and unnecessary prejudices were clearly up to the mark. However, the microbrewery beer offered was excellent (its not theirs!). The music was simply the radio, so the same songs that we hear all day long and of which we are completely tired of. Fortunately the staff were smiling. The waitress never introduced herself, so I have no idea what her name is, but its July 25, 2024 at 5:45 p.m., she has blonde hair and tattoos on her arms (if that helps the restaurant manager). establishment).

Woww wowww and re wowww. Ive been to this restaurant several times. A friend of mine owns it. I have always been more than satisfied with its diverse and tasty dishes. The service is amazing and amazing is weak. The employees always smiling and attentive. If you have never been there please take a detour and go there. You will want to go back. And for the price it really makes more sense. I was there on July 20 for my birthday. They even have a room to accommodate several people. If you go in a group, ask for the Bunker, the large room. She will be happy to receive you. Just to say that Steve spoke to you about it. Enjoy your food.

Beautiful place, you can hear yourself talking very well and there is also a good atmosphere with the music, the quiet lighting and the beautiful view of the center of the city. The food was just impeccable the best brie Ive eaten in my life and excellent service aside from that. All this for a very reasonable price! Vegetarian options: Several options for different dietary restrictions. Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten-free option. Parking: Parking available on LaFontaine Street all year round. Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible for everything.

Surprising, tasty and quality of the food.

A monument of Rivière-du-Loup and rue Lafontaine, and we immediately understand why upon our arrival. Warm welcome and atmosphere, good selection of beers and wines, complete menu, everything you need to have a pleasant time!

Go on your way! The menu is quite basic for a place that aims to be original and trendy and the prices are high ($25 for a burger!!). There was also a lack of transparency from the waitress who added an extra $4 for baked apple when she expressed it as a choice included with the steak which already cost $36. I almost complained and didnt tip but preferred not to make a fuss.

We received a call today (2 weeks before the event) to pack up because they received a call for a group of 25. This is truly a total lack of respect!

I went to eat on Valentines Day with my girlfriend. I was very well received. Very good service. I loved what I ate. Its been a long time since Ive eaten such good meat. I recommend it to everyone.

Decent lunch menu but not something to throw yourself into either. The espresso was really horrible (burnt roast typical of a cheap coffee). The table was sticky with honey, dish arrived cold In short, it s the factory and you can feel it. There are really better in Rivière-du-Loup, even if the atmosphere and the place are still cool and lively.

It is a bustling restaurant with a trendy sports bar flavour. The fondue parmesan was tasty and very well presented. The margarita pizza was disappointing: very thin and overbaked crust and the sauce was plenty and poor quality. The cheese was excellent, and the fries were homemade and too fried and lukewarm. My wife had cari coco. Significant portions lots of tofu. It was bland, and even with extra sauce, my wife was disappointed. They have a wide beer selection, mostly craft beers. The waitress was smiling and friendly, and she cared as she was sorry that my wife did not have her entree

Classic menu. Excellent choice of micro beers. No choice under $23 in main dishes and no table dhôte. We were there for my sons party, but no special attention, despite having indicated it at the start of the meal.

I often eat there and I especially find the lunches good, I find all the evening dishes a little too salty and the music is quite loud, enough for the waitress not to understand our order (very friendly and competent waitress) which resulted in us receiving the wrong dishes and being told by another member of staff to be careful next time. There will be no next time because saying this to a frequent customer and my chef friend in the kitchen is pretty ordinary.

So I went in here because of the high rating and figured it was for the pub food. I nevertheless ordered a stir fry hoping it would atleast be descent. I had the Thai stir fry. I imagine it would be considered some canadian/Thai fusion type dish but it rocked my socks off! I absolutely loved it! It was chalk full of all sorts of veggies. Has a mild spice to it (Id probably ask for more if possible next time) it had a citrus taste to it and the portion was quite large. I am still quite impressed! The service was also amazing! I got seated right away, the server brought me some water and I asked if I could keep the large bottle she was pouring from. I finished pouring the rest of the bottle in my glass a few minutes later and the next minute she had brought me an even bigger bottle of water. My meal came quickly and I was out the door in 30-45 minutes. When traveling for work and eating solo its nice to be able to be in and out of a restaurant quickly. This might be my top 3 favorite dining experience in all of eastern Quebec.

Very fast service, good portion and the food is excellent! The staff is super efficient and cheerful, its been several years since Ive been there and still the same high level of service! Large selection of micro beer too!

The place feels warm and cozy! The waiter was professional and friendly and the breakfast was fantastic! Finding a parking spot was a tad difficult but overall the experience was great and I recommend!

A nice brasserie. Surprise...in the bunker sector we could converse! I liked my steak and fries. The other three found their food average . We went there for dinner on a Sunday evening...maybe not ideal? It s what it is, a regional brewery! Still, its affordable and if you want a good beer, a good lunch and not too expensive...its a good place. The waitress was friendly and the service faultless.

Nous y sommes allés en famille pour le déjeuner. Les choix au menu sont simples, mais tout y est et il y en a pour les goûts et appétit de tout le monde. Les price des assiettes déjeuner sont de 16$ (assiettes 2 ufs + viande) à 24$ (assiette brunch). Le jambon effiloché est vraiment bon, c est vraiment à choisir dans votre assiette.

Old fries, old burger balls, a tasteless seafood pizza. Too bad, we wanted this treat and it was a failure. The kitchen lacks a lot of love. The price is too expensive. On the other hand, the service was impeccable. I will never come back here.

Me and my GF is having an onroute bypassing this town, 9:10pm. looking for a restaurant at least to have some food. we entered the place first it got a bit noisy, some other people yells and i cannot hear anything until the server arrives. we decided to takeout the burger instead. it was 3 tables inside and 2 tables outside. But it took about 30mins. no one checks on us and no one telling me to order anything else. all i see is the servers trying to play at the counter. I understand this is a Saturday night, everybody wants to have some fun. Im a little rushing because I still need to go driving because im the one whos driving 18 hours. I ask the waiter how long its going take. and he said just go. all i ask its how long the burger will out? this manner makes me mad. totally. I know Quebecs arent very sociable with english speakers. and this time completely shows me that they only treat locals passionate. we are totally ignored. Im a main chef works full time in a western diner, I know that a burger patty gets cooked only in a 10min max. you took 35 mins and telling me its almost ready and say get out. wow. Im not a critique, but even the petstores manner are better.

What a great experience! We are French traveling in Canada, and contrary to what some one-star reviews say, the food was delicious, good products, fresh and balanced plates (Neither too much nor not enough). We didnt have the opportunity to come across a restaurant like this in Canada, far from the junk food we had already encountered we felt like we were living again! Greek Salad, Super Salmon Tartare and Spaghetti and perfectly balanced crème brûlée I highly recommend, its definitely worth it! PS: Contrary to what some comments say, the mayonnaise and fries were homemade

Very happy with my first experience at this place. We had impeccable service, it was delicious, and the wait was normal. We will return there on our next motorcycle trip to Rivière du Loup Dietary restrictions: Im allergic to garlic, and I ate a filet mignon and the sides were all garlic-free.

Unacceptable Unacceptable, I know that my expectations in quality of service in Canada are zero but this place crossed the line, not being happy with the dish you ordered and having the manager come to see you to offer you a solution and that is to put his hand in the plate to remove what he thinks you didnt like, because he didnt even bother to listen to you, it is unacceptable, I still havent finished digesting the insult and lack of respect that this mans action caused me. WoW Wow and reWow By far one of the best restaurants I have eaten at. Everything was perfect, even with 2 children in a pub on a Saturday evening, the service was IMPECCABLE and the dishes generous and tasty. Now all I have to do is find reasons to leave the greater Montreal area and go visit Rivière du Loup and make a natural stop to eat at the Resto-Pub L Estaminet. The lunches are great

My Bison Burgers were overcooked, my coffee was too old (made a long time ago) and my cheesecake was dry. Fortunately, very good service.

Its been a long time since I went to this restaurant for dinner. I went there with my partner to have a great evening. The only downside is that the small tables for two are really too small.
