Excellent falafels and great service!

Why can t they take the time to post that they re closed today? Both google search and GPS said they were open. I drove into the restaurant off the highway, parked, walked a ways to their restaurant, and it s closed. I guess they don t care about future customers. I drive through here a lot but will never go back to this restaurant. Places like these dont want to bother creating proper websites. They just want to create Facebook pages. Which means potential customers don t get proper updates on google for hours closed, menus, etc.

Passing through on our way to Quebec City we stopped in for lunch. My husband and son both had the lamb crepe, the both raved bout it being the best lamb theyve ever had. I had the vege poutine, fries were perfectly cooked, luscious gravy with carrots, mushrooms, and onions poured over cheese curds. It was so good, I was having to fight my son for the last bite! The place has a very eclectic vibe, the antique building, the gold ceiling, the great variety of music playing (not too loud, we had no trouble hearing each other.) Very friendly staff who went above and beyond to take care of their customers. If were ever back in the area we will most definitely be stopping by again. Vegetarian options: Vege poutine,

Discovered by chance. What a great discovery!! Everything was good and the service was impeccable: kind, friendly, accommodating. My daughter was enjoying her meal and couldnt stop talking about how much she loved it. The chicken pita was perfect, I have rarely eaten such good ones. The veal burger to roll around on the floor. You have to go!!!

My family and I stopped in for dinner recently and can t stop talking about this spot. The service was perfect, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere was lovely. If you are in the area, don t hesitate to come here. I hope to come back if I m around the area again :)

Really expensive for what you get!! Salmon dish with 4 tiny MCX. I dont think I had more than 50g of salmon. A 3 star for the spot and its atmosphere. If the sugar tart would not have been good it would have 1 star rating. First and last experience for me!

Decent service but the food...WOW!!! Passing through RDL with my little family, total disappointment. Initially the water was hot, we should have been wary of that from the start. Poutine immengeabke, what sauce did you put in it? Too sweet breakfast pancake that didnt go well with the fish. Please make an effort Go to Mikes because for $80, youll eat better. Sorry but I STRONGLY advise against it.

Probably the best ham crepe I ve ever eaten! The seasoning was amazing, and the little sauces were delicious and homemade. It seems that they are passionate and that they put a lot of love into their cooking. The team is super warm, little vintage atmosphere, super fun, you have to try that (The backyard is super cute). It s clear that we will come back as soon as we pass through Rivière-Du-Loup again, thank you!

A great inclusive discovery in Riviere-du-loup. We had dinner today and found the dishes delicious (Egyptian omelette and ham bagel). Fast and very friendly service. A little noisy on the other hand the terrace in front of the restaurant, the big kémions are afraid of not being able to climb the hill. Next time, well eat inside or on the side terrace (we just discovered it in the photos here). THANKS! Vegetarian options: A lot of choices.

Superb restaurant for brunch with very attentive service. Buckwheat pancakes are delicious. I recommend the crepette with Egyptian omelette. Dogs allowed on the front terrace, they even give them water with ice cubes

LInnocent is a fantastic café/restaurant with plenty of delicious vegan options! The vegan poutine is to die for!! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was great as well! We would be for sure regulars, if we lived close by! Sadly Copenhagen to Rivière-du-Loup is a bit of a commute. But if you are in the area dont miss this gem!

Its been two times that my burger patty hasnt been cooked (the center of the patty is cold and red). We also had a falafel pita, instead of lettuce, tomato and garlic sauce, we put salsa... Falafel, salsa, mayo, bread. Ill let you imagine the good taste (not). In short, the kitchen is no longer what it used to be and its sad because I love this place :(

Oh my goodness, this little place is such a gem! We went for breakfast, and the interior was very decorative. Paintings on the tables and interesting quotes around the room. So artistic . The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was awesome! We will definitely go back when we are in the area again.

The restaurant itself is very eclectic and fun. The tables are painted with whimsical designs, and there is artwork on skateboards on the wall for sale. The food is quite delicious..I have an omelette with a baguette. The meal comes with a glass of juice which is a nice touch. The real stars should go to the staff. They were extremely friendly and welcoming. I dont speak French and they communicated with me very well. My original waitress must have informed the woman delivering my food that I wasnt French because she came out and spoke English to me immediately. All in all it was a wonderful and quaint experience. I enjoyed it.

Weve visited twice on vacation, and its still good. The portions are perfect, the dishes highlight local ingredients. The lamb is really delicious, the falafel is worth a mention. Beautiful terrace where dogs are allowed and very well received, a water bowl is provided.

A nice surprise in Rivière du Loup. Rue Lafontaine not far from the museum. Andréanne and her partner do good and beautiful simple things. I had falafel as a starter and lamb poutine as a main course. Top quality. North African and Mediterranean inspired cuisine; it adds a touch of oumf and originality to the taste of the dishes. We were a small group of four people and everyone enjoyed their food. Very good falafels. Perfect fries (a little soft and crispy), fresh cheese curds, brown sauce with a little touch of curry(?) which makes it original and tasty, perfectly prepared and shredded lamb. I recommend. Nice touch of vintage in the choice of tableware (pig salt and pepper shakers, goose cups, etc.). I ate a delicious Egyptian omelette (feta, mushrooms, herbs) and a very good espresso!

We went for the food, the atmosphere, the supplies from local producers. In fact, we have always had a big crush on the Innocent. But the cleanliness really leaves something to be desired... Our table was obviously impossible to wash, the varnish became sticky and dirty, and the wall would have to be washed or repainted. Really, some refreshment is in order after all these years.

A beautiful, very friendly little restaurant! There are works by local artists on the walls and even on the tables! Warm, friendly and impeccable welcome! Very interesting menu offering lots of variety, fresh produce and vegan options. Kid-friendliness: The children really liked the food offered: the smoked fish bagels with dill sauce made them happy! As well as colorful lemonade and hot chocolate with a heart on it! Not forgetting the maple muffins!

Excellent meal. The shredded lamb was tender, the fried rice delicious and the cumin sauce awesome. And the falafels were to die for.

This place was so awesome. A very sweet girl helped us with suggestions. We decided on Salmon Salad, falafel appetizer and pulled pork over fried rice. Every single bite was delicious ! Every dish included a bit of coleslaw that was also wonderful. I highly recommend LInnocent.

Place with quality meals and original menu. The waiter Philippe was very helpful and explained many details to us about the history of this restaurant. Prices not too exorbitant for the good food that is served. Very popular place during summer holidays. It is therefore important to reserve.

Amazing food and cafe lattes. We had the nachos, vegan poutine and regular poutine. The nachos were very fresh tasting, which I loved. The vegan poutine had so much flavour and was very filling and my daughter loved her regular poutine. The lattes were incredible as well, we even took some to go. They are dog friendly and have many vegan options as well as vegan drink options. We had two people with nut allergies and staff also went above and beyond to make sure that there was no cross contamination!!!! Would highly recommend eating at Linnocent!!!! Would recommend going if youre looking to hang with friends in a chill setting, but if youre looking to feast, maybe look elsewhere. The price for what youre getting was somewhat expensive.

Small, friendly hippie café. The decor is successful and reminiscent of certain European establishments of the same type. The dishes are tasty and the seasoning is on point. The service is French and efficient. However, the portion of meat in the lamb dish was insufficient for the asking price ($23). In fact, 70% of the plate is made up of rice, 20% salad and 10% pulled lamb. The salmon salad dish seems more generous in terms of protein. Good selection of organic/natural wines. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options (which perhaps explains the low amount of meat in the lamb dish) Parking: Parking was easy on the street opposite. Kid-friendliness: There were children there and they seemed well tolerated.

My boyfriend and I have been travelling through the Gaspésie region over the last week and have had some great meals, but nothing comes even close to the dinner we had at LInnocent. The tofu salad was truly a work of art with a myriad of flavours and textures I will surely be dreaming about for some time. Halfway through my meal I was already planning our next trip around this amazing restaurant. I am giving all of the stars, 5 is not enough.

I was not asked my pronouns when I had entered and the staff made a big fuss about which bathroom i entered, please stay woke i would like to see this business succeed but not if theyre going to continue to harass the trans-nation.... great place for rice
