Love the staff there Great with kids! Food is always fresh and tastes great!
We had take out here and it was a good experience. The owner was kind and answered our questions. The hours at the restaurant can be a bit of a challenge. Parking is ample. A person that needs gluten free can eat here. The Chicken Shawarma was dry due to the usage of chicken breasts. When chicken breasts are on a rotisserie for that long it will happen. The beef shawarma was better but it’s just a premade coagulated meat slurry that every restaurant serves. Nothing special. The sides are good and the rice has a nice cinnamon aroma to it. They give you a generous portion. The potatoes are dry and overcooked. The hummus is good as is the tzatziki sauce. Opt for just the Tzatziki. The pickled sides are a must, I would have forgone the salad. Overall a good experience and I’d go again. They would benefit from increasing quality. The platters are huge and the size can be reduced by increasing the quality of the product.
Felt very rushed when ordering from uninterested worker. Did not offer or receive pita chips in the fatoush salad included in the 25$ chicken sharwama plate. Did not offer pita bread and only put 1 after I asked. Food was barely warm and tasted off, like soured. Ended up in the garbage. After looking at previous reviews,i see its habitual at this establishment. Better served to drive to Orleans for quality service and fresh food!
First and last time going here! My mom went in on December 28th, and a staff member from the kitchen made a *smart joke* by asking her if she was going to eat the 2 large, very full donairs she bought. I am shocked that someone would say something insulting like that to a customer simply because they are overweight. The food was delicious, but my mom came back to the car crying and embarrassed. No one should be subjected to that type of treatment. Check out my other reviews, I rarely give 1 star. Go elsewhere!!!
While we do enjoy your food, more than once we have gone to your location on a Sunday night, only to find that it’s closed. Very frustrating. Even though the sign on the door says 8 PM we were there at 6:40 PM. We looked online it says 7 PM closure, different from what is on the door. We were still there with lots of time for you to take our order and yet more than once we have found you closed. It’s too bad. We end up taking our business to another location when you could’ve had our business. I would recommend you be consistent with your hours if you want consistent business from your customers. When someone drives out of their way to go to your establishment the least you could do is be open during the hours you declare.
Half-way through my sandwich I found a hair that clearly did not come from me or the person I was eating with as it became visible as I took the previous bite of my sandwich. I politely call and ask what can be done about this and as they put me “on hold” I can hear them swearing about me and boyfriend in Arabic thinking I don’t understand the language… Very unimpressed. They offered to make another sandwich but after hearing exactly what they said I feel uncomfortable going back there. Biggest waste of $30.
Amazing food and a great value. nothing else to say, eat here. You won't get this much great food for 40$ anywhere!
This place has great shawarma and excellent Donair. Their side fried potatoes with garlic sauce is amazing.
My husband ordered a poutine, it was basically loads of chicken with little to no fries and I found hair in it. If I wanted a bowl of chicken I would have asked for it I asked for poutine.

The guys are so Nice and they fill your plate that your sure to have enough for a week . The taste is amazing as well . Cannot recommended it more .
**UPDATE: I am a regular customer here and I live 30+ minutes away. Ive always enjoyed their food and service but on December 28th around 2:45 PM, I was embarrassed by a staff member in front of other customers. I ordered 2 large donairs and a tall, mid 50s man asked me if I was going to eat both of those or if I was sharing. Its 2023 (2024 now) and theres no excuse for this type of fat shaming. I am a bigger woman but whether or not I was going to eat both donairs (which I wasnt... It was for me and my daughter), that was none of their business. Publicly shaming a customer is horrible and unacceptable. This person should be ashamed of themselves, especially now that they lost a loyal customer. **Original review: Nice staff, the shawarma is very delicious. Its was my first time getting shawarma from Shawarma Rockland and I really recommend the place.
Wow! The food was amazing! Service 10 out of 10! I use to live in Ottawa and this place is better than any there! We were going to buy individual shawarmas but the woman behind the counter told us how much of a better deal to buy the family plater! The food colors vibrant and fresh. Chicken so tender and beef! Next big party im getting them to cater! It was about 12 dollars per person,BUT we have more than enough for tomorrow night ..so it is 6 dollars per person. At Mc Donalds it be away mote and you feel sick after! Parking: Tons of parking in the back and all plowed after the storm. Kid-friendliness: Top notch! Professional, and friendly

Step off the beaten path! Try their shish-taouk and their kebab. You have to call ahead as it is custom made. Absolutely amazing. All their items are great but those two will blow your mind!
It was mothers day dinner choice and even though I gave clear written instructions to my partner....they forgot my side potatoes and garlic sauce and I asked for taboulie extra in my large chicken famous salad...I do love their hummus though.

Being half Lebanese I can honestly say this place took me back to my Grandmothers cooking. It was so delicious just like hers. People there are super nice and very accommodating. Where I live, theres no great shawarma places around. We will definitely be stopping here again in the future.

Ive stopped at this place twice while passing through Rockland. The owners are friendly and the shawarmas are really tasty. Ive also tried the donair and while Ive had better in Ottawa, Id definitely order one from here again. This place is well worth a try.

I have always loved this location. I used to go see them when they were close to the GT. Ever since the owner has stepped down a bit the quality and service has never been so poor. The portions have reduced in size. The quality of the ingredients are actually disgusting and clearly not as fresh as they used to be. The lettuce was yellow and was dripping with water. You need to repeat yourself multiple times for them to understand what youre saying. I had more vegetables than meat on my sandwich today and will not be returning.

Employer only speaks French, had to interrupt customers who understood and spoke English to take order over phone. They called back 4 times asking the same questions we already answered in the first phone call. We are 5 minutes from the restaurant. After 30 minutes from ordering, they called again asking what was on the sandwich after we told them 4 times previous. Another 30 minutes goes by and another call. Finally, another 15 minutes and our food arrived just to find out they messed up our order.

Every time I come here, there is an issue. I m all for giving a company the benefit of the doubt as errors do happen. That being said, I have come here 9 times now and they always make errors! Every single time. Whether its always forgetting the sweet sauce... bones still in the chicken.... or even their awkward service. I think we gave them enough chances. We will not be returning to this restaurant. The other shawarma restaurant in Rockland is amazing.
Fake five-star reviews, using the exact same wording from different names. If you have to cheat the review system, that says a lot about the poor quality of your restaurant.

We order a full family and half family meal to feed 5 people and barely had enough chicken or potatoes. The trays were overpacked with soggy salad and way too much rice. Something was up with their pickles too and they mixed the hummus and garlic sauce in the same container. I normally love this place but never again will I waste money on a family meal, it would of been cheaper to buy 5 single meals and we would of had more food.

This place is an awesome restaurant. The Libanese food is fresh, tasty and tender. The owner always greats us with a smile. He always knows what we like to eat. He is friendly and respectfull. The food is always good, the Shawarma is yummy with different kinds of hummus. The Shawarma salad is yummy, the sweet sauce is very good and make you want to eat more salads. A friendly place where you feel like home. Good food, good people and people need to encourage this guy so he can stay with us in Rockland forever :) love the fact taht he shares on Facebook the food he prepares, it is a clean place :)

Soon as I walked into the building I was greated and felt welcome. Never had shawarma so was kinda lost at first but that feeling went away quickly. Was given samples and a feel for the food. Ended up delicious. Would recommend to any of my friends. Awesome little place, awesome people and awesome food.
