Nice rooms but a funky smell from my room every time I opened the door. Seems to be from the bathroom, maybe the shower curtain. Same with the hallway (3rd floor). When it rained, there was water leaking into a bucket in front of the room in front of me. No further work was done so I would assume mold will soon creep in, if not there already. The room was big and the bed comfortable. Furniture was more modern than some of the other hotels in the area.

First contact was very negative thanks to the guy at the front desk. Rude and unhelpful when I asked to park my vehicle where it could be plugged in. The housekeeping staff was rediculously loud and rude. Now for the positive points. The staff in the restaurant were absolutely fantastic. Your star employee is Elizabeth(Ellie). She was friendly and extremely helpful.
I very rarely give a poor review but this hotel was very disappointing and we had paid extra for a package. I booked Le Noranda through the hotel for a Romance Package for myself and my husband. The first room they gave us was across from the stairs/elevator and beside a pop machine that was making a horrible grinding noise. When we went to request another room, the staff was well aware that the machine was making a horrible noise. Nice choice for a couple paying for a Romance Package. Then, I guess to make a point, they gave us the very last room on the 4th floor facing a daycare. The seal was broken on the window so it was perpetually fogged up and the carpet was in such poor shape it was bunching. The welcome gift wasn't delivered until much later and had random fruit, rotten strawberries and a few stale ovation chocolate sticks that we had to throw out. The restaurant for our Romantic dinner hadn't been notified that I had food allergies and had to scramble. The package said a wine would be chosen for our dinner from a sommelier. Nope. House wine only or you paid for the bottle. The restaurant so needs an update - the backs of the seats for the benches - you could see the dark body imprints. Dinner was only ok and very very rich. Dessert seemed to be from a Costco freezer box. Our package didn't even give us access to the hot tub and sauna room. There was a dirty rag left in our room from the cleaner and the room had the feel that it wasn't finished being cleaned. Bed ok, shower ok, towels felt like they came from a budget hotel. Seriously would not recommend and not sure why all the positive reviews. Really a poor attempt at a romance package. We do packages periodically at other locations and have always had an awesome experience. This was terrible. Never again and do not recommend.
The staff and the food were fantastic at the Noranda! Carolyn, the assistant manager, and the rest of the front desk staff, cleaning staff and restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and helpful for us during our stay. The area was nice and what we had hoped for in our first stay in Quebec. We would recommend this hotel based on staff alone. The art and ambiance of the room were good. We are hoping to hear of some upgrades to the rooms. A little modernizing would make this hotel perfect.
Excellent hotel. Good service and nice rooms. The restaurant on site is amazing. The only negative i have found is that the walls of the rooms are thin: you can often hear conversations in the next room if they speak a little louder than normal. Overall, it's a great hotel
I made a last minute New Year's Eve reservation and the front desk was incredibly accommodating and very kind. The room was clean, the shower was wonderful, the TV offered both French and English TV show options and there was a private exit in our room which was actually very useful for coming and going quickly so that we made it to our reservations on time!
We had 14 people staying at Le Noranda for a business trip and we received the best service I have ever received anywhere in the World! Nothing was too much hassle for the wonderful team. We had difficult and demanding requests, that require the team to be discreet and dynamic for our unique business visit, and the team at Le Noranda were not phased by any of it and were able to help with every request. Staff stayed on for extra time to help with last minute turn arounds of rooms where required, and always helped us with a huge smile. I told the team this and I will reiterate again, that we could have stayed at top hotels in major cities and not received the level of service we received here. ||The team were absolutely brilliant, the rooms immaculately clean and with brilliant facilities. The attached restaurant is one of the best in town! I would not hesitate to stay here if I was visiting Rouyn Noranda again. Thank you once again to the amazing team.

I wanted to thank the employees at reception for their warm welcome, their services and their smiles . The rooms and bathroom are very clean, the hotel is very well located, there is currently work going on but I have not noticed anything that could disturb my stay....I plan to return there during my next visit to Rouyn-Naronda

Nice welcome, the room is beautiful and spacious, the hotel is well located, everything was clean, the restaurant at the bottom of the hotel is very good too. Loss of one star: nothing indicates that the spa (present in the Expedia photos) is not available and currently under renovation.

The room was spotless and the service incredible. I drove 8 hours to get to an event at the convention hall and I have absolutely no regrets. I will go back next year, I loved my stay! Rooms: The room was very clean! There was also a heated floor in the bathroom. Walkability: There was a great cycle and pedestrian path nearby. I took several walks and went shopping on foot during my stay. In addition, people who live in Rouyn stop to let pedestrians pass.
Everything was perfect for our one night stay for work at this hotel. The bed was comfortable, the room clean, the staff courteous, parking easy and the restaurant very good. Food and drinks: Very good restaurant right in the hotel. Good to know: if you are a choices member, breakfast is included!

In fact thats what brought me there otherwise I dont think I would have taken a room there because the Hotel is really much too close to the Horne Foundry which is really disappointing because you can smell the smell fumes Parking is free but located on the street. The alarm clock is equipped with a USB charger which is practical in our time. The bathroom is clean and equipped with a fan, which is less and less common in large hotels. The food was overall acceptable and diversified but I was only able to experience the buffet formula in the conference rooms. I havent tried à la carte because there is a very wide variety of restaurants and bars nearby. Either very close or if you are willing to walk around twenty minutes. I was able to attend a show at the Last Chance Cabaret. Rooms: Very clean room. I had a very large room with two double beds. A coffee maker is provided in the room as well as a fridge. Never seen so many smiling staff in a hotel. I felt like family immediately. Clean, comfortable, silent, everything was perfect. A fabulous restaurant, where everything was delicious. Rooms: Spacious, very clean. The sheets, the pillowcases, everything smelled good. Really comfortable bed. Beautiful bathroom.
attend one meeting only
For years we have stayed 2 days a little disappointment we are aware of entering the hotel at 4 p.m. we travel a lot and it is the law. For years, once a year for 2 days, we have come to rest and eat well and have lunch. Always good at this hotel. We arrived early around noon on Friday, February 9 to mention that we had arrived, she looked at her computers and mentioned to us that it wont be ready before 3 p.m. we said perfect we came back at 2:45 p.m. she told us its not ready before 4 p.m. still looking at her computers I told her there are no other rooms available we were ready to pay more finally she reacted to serve us well there were other rooms. My complaint is that we would have appreciated it if she offered us other possibilities instead of making us wait and being available to our customers who needed days off. We are very satisfied we relaxed well that it is a good curiosity package Duo massage with my husband done by Azzahi, El Hadg Sghaier super good thank you to you 2 dinner 4 service very very good perfect meat and lunch Brunch hummm!!! Ready to start working again after this wonderful weekend of rest

Spa: Hammam is private for people who have reserved, 90 min access to cold showers/spa/sauna. Spacious and clean. Tea available in the relaxation room. Easily accessible changing room and bathrooms. Different types of massages and treatments offered. Calm and pleasant atmosphere. Relaxation guaranteed with the smells of essential oils in the various rooms.

Nice hotel, the room is big enough, its directly in downtown so if you need something you can walk ( jean coutu pharmacy and theres a Tim horton one corner later). The service is good so i think its the best hotel you can go in Rouyn-Noranda.

As if we were arriving at a friends house. The perfect meal, hot and fresh. Our entire group of around fifty people had an unforgettable evening! We didnt want for anything and their kindness was amazing. I recommend your group receptions or weddings to this location. Ask for Vincent and Rose and the evening will be a success! I went there for a snack after a funeral. There were more people than expected. In no time, the administration had set up additional tables. The buffet was excellent and the staff very courteous

Clean rooms when we arrived, two bottles of Eska water were provided to us. Parking is free is on the street or back. We took the room with two double beds. As the rooms were not insulated, the neighbors next door could be heard. Coffee maker in the room and fridge. The morning alarm clock is equipped with USB chargers. The bathroom is clean, equipped with a fan, but the decor is dated. Cleaning is done every three days as in most hotels. Within walking distance of a fast food restaurant (Morasse).
I slept well and had a good lunch. The staff was nice!!! Nothing extraordinary but good! Note... my coffee cup in the room was clearly not cleaned well and the toilets are really tiny ;)

Im writing this review because this is the 4th time weve been woken up by noise. Im currently lying in bed at 6:30am and the neighbor is talking at a normal volume and I can hear their conversation enough to understand what they are saying. First time, at 12:30 we were woken up. Subsequently 1h45, 3h30 and then 6h15. The walls have no soundproofing! We took the spa/dinner/one night package. We had room 108. I believe these rooms have numbers from 101 to 109. My advice, if you want to have a good nights sleep, do not take these rooms. Even if your neighbors are normal and make normal noises (coughing, talking, listening to the TV at a low volume, etc.) you will be disturbed by the slightest noise. The heating is at 23 degrees in the bedroom (we keep it at 20 at home) and it is freezing in the bedroom. The spa and restaurant were really nice but my partner was served a sour Pina Colada, and the guy right next to us ordered a beer and he also had it replaced because she was flat. With a room made of cardboard, it ruins the experience for me. I simply dont recommend going to the Noranda, my partner would have had potential indigestion and we barely slept. My name is not in the reservation, it is that of my partner

Ce n étais pas inscrit nulle part que le spa étais à part de l hôtel et qu on devais réserver et payer pour y avoir accès, situation discuter avec la réceptionniste à l accueil la dame a été très peu professionnel lors de notre échange avec elle... Toilette minuscule, aucune insonorisation, très froid dans la chambre malgré chauffage en marche.

I was expecting a kind of Koena (Gatineau) or a Kinipi (Trois-Riviere) but it was not at all that concept. It was a little more old than I expected. I find that a shame. Abitibi is lacking in creating a Spa concept like those I have listed. But... for the rest, the service was impeccable... the bed was 4/5. The short-term housing service was satisfactory but for the rest of the services it did not meet my expectations. It was OKAY. Thanks for the experience!

My family booked there conference room as a wedding space. Hands down the worst experience that I have already in life. Service staff was terrible and didnt accommodate anyones needs. Needless to say we had to beg for water and coffee as it was complementary and included with the meal. They are not about customer service they are more occupied with money making. Terrible.

As you already know I am larger than the average bear. I discovered this hotel because the others were full. What was my discovery... imagine there is an excellent restaurant accessible from the hotel. The service is excellent and so is the food. I allowed myself to try a filet mignon accompanied by shrimp with blue cheese sauce. Wow. In short, the internet in the room works well and I had direct access to the outside and it was very well soundproofed. In short, I recommend it and the restaurant. Good evening.

Rooms are nice. Good location near Tremoy parc. Free breakfast if you join Choice Privilege (give your member number to the hotel. Name of Choice Privilege has to be the same as name used for reservation). Also, room cleaning and making bed only every 3 days. You can request fresh towels every day at the front desk. So if you are there for 4 days, they will clean your room on the 3rd day.

Excellent package. 100 star dinner! Filet mignon that melts in your mouth. Extra comfortable bed and spa with the smell of eucalyptus! And what more can I say, the service was impeccable. Nothing better to completely relax!

We rented the condo suite, it was perfect, I loved it. For the restaurant the cellar the dinner was delicious the spa garden also relaxation guaranteed And the kindness of all the hotel staff I recommend it
Clean hotel, good staff, nice room. Extremely bad soundproofing. Conversations and snoring are hear through like there is someone in the bathroom with closed door. Phone alarm vibrations woke me up being convinced that its my own phone I have stayed in my share of hotels, never had I heard the neighboring guests being so clearly.

Very good location. Right in the city center of Rouyn. The staff very very friendly and welcoming. We were able to get a room with an independent exterior exit which opened directly onto the free parking lot. Very practical. The shower is perfect. The total lack of soundproofing. We could hear the neighbors coughing and television. In the morning, people started chatting outside our door. Very unpleasant awakening! Price a little excessive.

The hotel is very correct. However, due to a lack of staff the rooms are not cleaned every day. We forget, as in our case, to notify customers upon arrival. A message on the website would be a minimum. Nothing to complain about the staff present.
Not informed upon arrival of lack of staff, no room attendant. When you arrive at the end of the day, its common to see that the room is not done as expected and paid for. Other hotels offered discounts for this reason.

The rooms are fantastic. I didnt ask how much for the night, just booked the room and hoped for the best. When I got my bill in the morning it was 1/2 the price i expected for a room this nice. The gentleman at the front desk was polite and very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again when I am in town.

Imagine...you arrive in Rouyn Parking is small for the hotel. They also use a street but the snow removal is SoSo. But inside... The style is beautiful, clean. Welcoming staff (especially in the evening! The guys got it) The tapus is smooth and comfortable. Match well with the ambiance The lounges throughout the hotel are beautiful although no one is sociable to use them The footbridge is beautiful with the paintings of the Artistic course of the citys cegep The room.... Beautiful smooth tapus also in different colors. Bedroom (2 beds) mini living room + work table with comfortable chair mini fridge But! Unfortunately old TV.... My switch and the TV didnt get along well (square screen) I looked in the settings. But... BATHROOM HEATED FLOOR The whole kit (Soaps-Towels-dressing gown-hair dryer) Wardrobe The restaurant The cellar is very good Thursday pasta bar! Portion LOOKS small but feeds her man well Bloody Thursday 2 for 1 Several meeting rooms also communicating with a footbridge over the street. It is in this section that the cegep paintings are located. Very good experience! The bed was comfortable 2 ear style Thick and soft Semi-rigid mattress

Amazing staff, very clean rooms, the spa was incredible and the food from the restaurant was incredible. My fiance and I were moving to Nova Scotia and stayed at the hotel for two nights. We booked a massage at the spa, and the staff was incredible and the massage was amazing. They offer your own personal robe and slippers to add to the relaxation in the spa. The food was delicious at the restaurant and the staff made me feel super comfortable even though I dont know much french. The service was fast and efficient and the local list of beers was great. I will highly recommend everything that is available at the hotel.
The service is great and the food is wonderful and they rent out rooms. Their surf and turf plates the filet mignon is very tender and can be cut with a fork. Its perfect for a romantic evening
Desperate need of renovation. Wifi did not work in room. Stale smell. Due to covid no breakfast, which was fine but the packaged breakfast was pathetic. A fruit yogurt, juice, a large pre packaged muffin. Nothing savoury, considering that they have a full functioning kitchen I was expecting better.
Clean rooms, great customer service (even if you dont speak French). The spa was relaxing and the restaurant has delicious food.

Nous avons passé un séjour en forfait tout inclus dune nuit en amoureux. Le service à la réception est tres accueillant, grande chambre super propre sans odeur désagréable. Les repas inclus au forfait sont délicieux, la cuisson du filet mignon est magnifique. Pour Le petit déjeuner je vous recommande fortement les oeufs bénédictine au canard confit
