It smells like tabarnak!!! I was sure I slept on top of a dead person!

When starting out, room 221 still has a subtle cigarette smell... This is the hotel where I had the worst customer service of my life...(I am 65 and I traveled to the hotel for 10 years (United States) every week...at check out, I had to repeat 3 times my way of paying for the room...the person at the counter, I think she was a kind of supervisor, only communicated with me with negative sentences No,....... No,. ...... Etc. and spoke over my voice....never, never again...overprice for the Good and service offered...! Your response is rather innocuous, with the aim of appearing sorry...for those who read the reviews before booking.... On the other hand, the agent who closed my invoice should NOT be assigned to the guests in any way, she, it seems, destroys the service and the image that your establishment tries to offer to customers.... Behind a computer, or with a mop would be a better assignment Good to you....! Rooms: Old hotel.....still subtle cigarettes odor... (From the wall or other.)....

Nice welcome, the lady at reception, Rose I think, is very welcoming and friendly. I have slept in luxury hotels before, but this was the first time that someone called me 15-20 minutes after arriving at the room to find out if the room met my needs. A simple call, lasting 10 seconds, which really surprised me and I found it very professional of him. The room already looked better. Standard room, nothing luxurious. La Cage is directly accessible in the hotel. Lunch included in the price. Food and drinks: Restaurant La Cage directly at the hotel

All the 100 series rooms that face the road are sooooo noisy. Especially room 107 with the stairwell behind your headboard. You hear all people going up and down and suitcases.

We had booked 1 month in advance, requesting a specific room since we were leaving our boat in the parking lot and wanted to monitor it. When we got there, we were informed that our room had been given to another customer since the latter had arrived before us. No possibility of enforcing what we had taken care to ask by telephone when booking 1 month before. Very disappointed with the failure to keep their word and the lack of concern for the inconvenience it caused us.

Nice place but VERY SMALL parking lot which is also used for the restaurant I had to fall back on putting my vehicle in the Walmart one Rooms: The rooms have carpet inside... which is a bit dated...

Rooms 2nd floor, very clean king bed, very clean bathroom, we provide spare towels or sheets on request, we hear a lot of noise all night long, fairly tight parking. It is next to the La Cage aux sports restaurant and within walking distance of a small shopping center. The location is ideal, close to all services. Walkability: In front of a shopping center

Be careful deposit of 500$ and they say that you smoked in the room to keep the 500 having known I would not have gone out every time gain...

Excellent hotel where we stayed due to very bad weather conditions. The staff were really pleasant, warm and really available. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Very good bedding. Fridge and microwave, not to mention coffee and tea available. Ample parking and a gym are available to hotel guests. The very good breakfast provided with the smile and kindness of the person who takes care of this service. We highly recommend it!!

Snowmobile friendly hotel near everything.

Stayed at this hotel while on business in Rouyn-Noranda. Very clean, friendly, rooms are big and location is great. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

1- Kind and courteous staff. 2- Very nice clean room, large, modern, fully equipped and freshly renovated. 3- Good lunch. 4- Well located. 5- Super comfortable large bed. But : 1- Very low water pressure, allow 3x more time to shower. 2- Window does not open. 3- No ventilation, permanent feeling of being in an aquarium, not even a fan with switch in the bathroom. 4- No smoking rooms. (But, logical given the absence of ventilation...) Tip: Try to have a room with a door that leads outside, you will have the chance to ventilate, especially when you use the bathroom. And you will be able to smoke more easily.

My room needed some TLC. My office chair was only held together by a single screw and when it let go, I found myself sitting on the floor. The ceiling had a crack from water infiltration, the wallpaper was starting to peel off and the toilet had an encrusted water ring. In general, the rooms I had in Pass were OK. But this time. I was disappointed. Very good general service at reception and lunch

The location of the hotel is unfortunately quite far from all the restaurants, bars and shops in the city center. Were talking about a 20 minute walk. Fortunately the adjacent sports cage restaurant is open every evening, but closes quite early due to lack of staff, closing at 9 a.m. or 10 p.m. Good place to stay in Rouyn!

Lovely stay, clean room, comfortable bed. The employees were friendly. On the other hand, taking a $500 deposit is way too intense. This is the first time I have seen such a high amount.

My name is Stephan and I am a Writer from Toronto but I was born and raised in Rouyn. I returned for a Vacation in my old home town. While there I was treated special even though they were not aware as to what I do. Any questions that I asked they treated me with respect, making me feel totally at home. While there I wrote some impressive poems that have gotten great reviews, this I credit to the way that the staff were to me. Family is the only term that I can use. I was there from August 1 till 4, the staff in the evening was most helpful. I did feel sad the day that I left for home, but promised that I would return to Rouyn and will stay at the Quality In.

Nice clean and friendly staff

A very clean and well maintained hotel. I lived there for a week with breakfast every morning. The bedding is very good, the room is spacious and the insulation is good. The staff is very welcoming! And for those who are interested, it is possible to order from the La Cage restaurant and have it delivered directly to your room.

What a great night spent here. The hotel staff was kind and spoke two languages. Removing one star only because the shower was not hot when my hubby went to take one at 8:15 am. I realize a lot of people were using the facilities at the same time (there was a hockey team staying here) but when a person needs a hot shower, they should get one LOL The best part of this hotel is the gem located within it called La Cage. The food was beyond my expectations (popcorn was great too). This is a sports bar with kickin tunes and lots of fun atmosphere. Maybe not the right place for an elderly relative because it felt like a party with EDM pumping, but still lots of fun.

the bed is a little hard but there were plenty of good TV stations so I was able to fall asleep to Robot Chicken, someone had left their bottle of Eska in the mini-fridge, it was refreshing! the kids loved the snacks in the party machine

The quality of the room is perfect! Average lunch but acceptable! But me and my daughter were bitten by something during our stay in the hotel, we didnt see what it was but Im sure the bug is in the bed since the bites are in inaccessible areas to mosquitoes. I had informed the receptionist about these misdeeds after our second night in the hotel but we had more bites the following night!

Poorly soundproofed room, the gym was closed, we were given lunch bags which were not edible due to Covid. Several other hotels offer lunch service. The bed was very hard. On the other hand, it was clean and the staff were welcoming.

This is my second or third stay here and I always find it very comfortable. The rooms are recently updated. The attached restaurant is very good but can be very busy. You cant hear noise from the restaurant but car traffic going in and out of the parking lot can sometimes make some noise.

2 and a half stars. The rooms are spotless and very clean. The bed is hard, bordering on uncomfortable, the bedding is sufficient. The furniture is outdated and the lighting is ineffective, you have to turn the difficult little knob on each lamp. Does the work desk have no electrical outlet? I had to buy a powerbar to connect my laptop. The rooms are poorly soundproofed. I slept there for 5 days and every night I was woken up by the sounds of the corridor or the trucks that the workers left running in front of the room doors. The toilet paper is of poor quality and the toilet is short for men. In my opinion the biggest problem which drastically reduces the quality of the establishment is the lack of air in the rooms. There is no air circulation. Occasionally the door must be opened to add oxygen. The fabulous reception service saves the bill and is extremely efficient.

Booked through expedia and checked-in same day; very simple. Hotel built in such a way that the rooms had a street entrance/exit with a free parking spot for your car right at the door. The second door opened to the hallway of the hotel which leads to the dinning room, lobby and other areas. This is winter and the room doesnt get warmer than 24°C; had to wait for the temperature to go up. Lotion, shampoo and two bars of soap were available in the room; no toothpaste, toothbrush or q-tips and the shower head was decent. Dinning room had sausage, scrambled eggs, bread and toaster, cereal, apple and orange juice, cream cheese, jam, peanut butter, yogurt, waffles which you can make and a few apples. Overall, a good hotel room with wi-fi and dining area and the hotel is right across the street from a Walmart and a Canadian Tire with a gas station. There is also a bar or restaurant called Le Cage next to the building. I would stay there again.

Everything is clean, although the furniture looks old. Its perfect for sleeping! The only downside is the lunches which are not like the qualityinn and so on. Its good but theres a shortage of stock!

I have been a customer of this hotel for over 2 years and every time I come to Rouyn for business I stay for 3 nights more or less 5 times a year. At no time was I offered a room upgrade, even if sometimes I was the only customer... I go to this hotel because there is a restaurant attached and I dont feel like running to a restaurant at 10 p.m. Having worked in the hotel industry when I was young, every opportunity we had to offer an upgrade to a customer who gave us their business we did it.
