Good restaurant discovered by chance. The dishes are well prepared with an effort on presentation, the place is pleasant with a view of the Bay. I recommend it to you We went back a year later, its still a great place (November 2024)

First experience for me and definitely the last. I had such a bad reception that I left.

Here, you immediately feel that the team loves what they do, and this is reflected in each dish. The beer mussels are simply delicious, a real treat for the taste buds! Sorry for the inauspicious photo, it was so good that I forgot to take it when the dish was full... oops! If you are passing through the region, I highly recommend stopping here, especially as a couple. It s a detour that s worth it! *P.S. : They can also rent their upstairs room for events of 50 people, a real plus for your special evenings!* Walkability: A ramp for wheelchairs Food and drinks: Lots of things Noteworthy details: I didnt take the hotel rooms, only the restaurant.

Wow what can I say about this delectable dinner....best octopus I have eaten in my life at the restaurant the rest was just as impeccable and incredibly good atmosphere and location seen on the bay and the price is definitely worth the quality of what I was served....and wow for the service for real I cant give lower than 5*.....even 6 if I could thank you for the culinary experience you will see me again often

One of the best restaurants we are lucky to have in Saguenay. The service is always excellent. For our anniversary, we wanted a quieter atmosphere and we asked if it was possible to eat upstairs. We were the only ones upstairs and the waitress came back and forth several times just for us. And what about the food, its so good that I order with my eyes closed and I never get it. The presentation, the flavor, everything is there. In short, a beautiful place, a good atmosphere, excellent food, unparalleled service, satisfaction guaranteed.

Excellent food!!! We had the lobster roll (etc) and the shrimp risotto for the lunch menu! I highly recommend! The white sangria was cool and refreshing. The atmosphere was quiet when we went but I would definitely go back in the evening!

The restaurant was excellent. I took the scoter and it was perfect, both the cooking, the sauce and the Brussels sprout salad. Pleasantly surprised for a first time at this restaurant.

Difficult to judge the food because it never arrived after an hour of waiting. 4 tables were served before us so we left. The waitress was not at all pleasant, attentive and did her business. I dont recommend.

Plus dune heure dattente pour ne pas être servis ! La serveuse nétait clairement pas focus et faire 1 modification dans un plat semblait être la fin du monde... Au bout de 30 minutes, elle revient pour quon lui rappelle ce quon avait commandé en nous disant quon était les prochains à être servis. La commande nest jamais arrivée. Nous sommes partis le ventre vide !

What a great discovery this restaurant is! Everything was exquisite and the service impeccable. We had the duck breast salad and mussels as a starter and the pork chop and veal as a main course. These dishes were worthy of a great restaurant! Hearty and tasty. I really give 5 stars for the quality of the meal at the restaurant. For the cottage it is good and very clean without more. Quite rudimentary self-service lunch. But the restaurant is worth the detour. And yes also there was a musician, it was pleasant although a little loud when he entered the restaurant from the terrace we could no longer hear ourselves speaking. The menu was delicious, the atmosphere superb, the view incredible and the service second to none. The person who served us was super energetic and in a good mood. We were served quickly and orders were accurate.

5 stars I recommend x 1000 There is a great chef behind the cauldrons! The food is of extreme quality. The employees are jovial and smiling. We cant pass by once weve tried it! Even my 82 year old mother loves poutine with Jack Daniel sauce without my boyfriend salivating just at the thought of their all-you-can-eat mussels on Thursdays so no choice, I have to admit that they are very good in entire!!

Loved the place and well received by employees and customers (for my first visit as a consumer)! I tasted a filet mignon hamburger with smoked paprika and chorizo, which was amazing. Very well accompanied by a Red Braque Pie (microbrewery in the area). The first time I showed up there, I was also well received but closing time was approaching (11:00 p.m. if I remember correctly). There is a bar on site and everything is adjacent to the inn which I have yet to discover (my last stays were at the Auberge des 21 & Spa a little further on the same street, near the water always). Despite the bar, children are allowed in the dining room. Come there to enjoy and eat well in a very nice, unpretentious place, you will be delighted. When the weather is nice, you can also enjoy the terrace. Enjoy your meal and enjoy your stay!

The unmissable restaurant to try if you go to the Bay! The dishes are delicious and carefully prepared, the menu offers many choices and the atmosphere is warm. The place is very popular with the citys inhabitants so it is not necessarily the ideal place if you want to eat in peace, but the atmosphere, the dishes and the setting are really worth the detour in this magnificent region of Saguenay -Lac St-Jean! I highly recommend!

Bad value for money. The portions are very small and the prices extremely high even for cocktails which cost less even in large restaurants in Montreal (strangely only the prices of the drinks are displayed and not the prices of the meals). In addition, the establishment requires tip amounts. Being accosted like a thief for tipping $10 instead of $20. I recommend that you have a meal before going to this establishment for dinner. Otherwise the atmosphere was good until the moment of being accosted.

Superb restaurant! We simply loved it! We booked on the terrace without knowing that we would have a view of the Saguenay so we were charmed. Our meals - filet mignon, golden brown, mussels, gnocchi and burger - were all excellent, as were the cocktails and beers. We highly recommend but reservations are required!!! We saw a lot of people being refused access due to lack of space (and we were there on a Wednesday evening)! Close to the performance hall but plan your time carefully to walk there after dinner! Thanks to the waiter who came back from vacation and who was very nice with a good dose of humor!

I had mussels with scotch and a starter of roasted and smoked duck breast. It was sublime. The service is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. Im sleeping at their lodge for the 2nd time. Its very good and very clean. We feel good there.

FOOD ?!!! was 4leaves of lettuce and croutons, 2 beers and 15 nachos (yes we counted), this should not be $90CAN, no menu with prices, in French or english, granted we were a little bit earlier for our reservation but this was because of pouring rain, very pricey for what it was. Waiter only came to our table once and never asked how things are going, or if we would like anything else. We will not comeback even it it had been free because we had to go to a real restaurant afterwards.

It was very hot in the room. The room was ok. Breakfast is modest, but correct: cereals, a little cheese, bread, butter, yogurt, jam. Hostel formula, you do it all yourself. Important not to take a room that opens onto the lake, as there is a lot of terrible noise in the morning from the trucks. OK to stay not long.

Their beef burguer is delicious, the terrace has a beautiful view of the river. The service was slow, but in times of pandemic and CERB it is more difficult to find employees.
