Dont go there. It was good in the past but not anymore. Simply not edible.

Very very ordinary. In fact, the food was inedible. Small portions, made super expensive.

Food received cold, meat not fresh, chicken balls really not good enough that we werent sure it was chicken. The owners have taken the customers for granted and this is not a place I recommend. If zero stars existed, thats what I would rate them.

So disappointed with my take-out. The hot & sour and won ton soups were tasteless and tasteless. Cantonese chow mein was just a mountain of noodles that looked like spaghetti, accompanied by a few onions and pieces of celery. If I had tasted it blind, it would be impossible to guess what it was! The chicken fried rice was barely passable, but way too salty. Its decided, it was my last order. I wont go back there again. Very disappointing.

The soup was disgusting, the pasta was overcooked, the vegetables were not cooked enough, the rice was black, the chicken was cahouchiuteus, the beef, broccoli was dry, no juice at all in the dish on the menu written 35.00 and they charged me 48.00 for no drink with that I will never go back again

REQUEST YOUR INVOICE All of a sudden when I asked for the invoice, they refunded me a small amount! They tried to scam us!! Having to ask for water when the only service to receive in a buffet is to clear the table and refill the water. Food not fresh, dry, the stove in the bottom, all the food burns. This is only for the stoves where there is food because they are almost all empty on a Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. Way too expensive for young children!! Since the new owners, its not at all like before. We used to go there twice a month before and unfortunately, that was the last time I set foot in this restaurant. Stupid owner, in short I recommend ZERO!

Very disappointed. Dishes almost empty eat dry you have to ask it takes time. Bring the food to the baby. No napkins at the table always ask. I will not return to this buffet.

It was just reheated. Everything was overcooked, we asked for an explanation and got no response.

It s as if the buffet was made up of leftovers from the day before which had already been reheated the day before and then reused once again. There was little food in the buffet unfortunately on the dishes with sauce there was a slight crust. It was very little busy. There was no refilling in the buffet apart from the soup which had already simmered too long. I was embarrassed to have invited my boyfriend there .

0 stars. I will never eat there again, the buffet is horrible to look at because the dishes have been there for a long time and everything is starting to dry out. No taste, just bland and tasteless. Not to mention the welcome, the waitress walks past me without asking me anything twice, and as there is no instruction to announce I dont know if I should go sit down or she should tell me where sitting down on his third visit, I call on him to find out what I should do. We were surprised because in addition to excellent Chinese meals, they offer Indian cuisine. Excellent too. This one has the map though. We loved our experience. Before, for Indian, we went to Montreal. Now we will be able to come closer to home more often. January 13, 2024 unusual situation at this restaurant is that the ambient air temperature is 14.5 Celsius at the restaurant. (PHOTO of the thermostat ANNEXED) The tables and chairs are ice cold, the heating is poor and quickly cools the food, which is still tasty on our plate (buffet). Several customers including my wife keep their coats on their backs for dinner. Nov.2023= The buffet is small on site, but the dishes are constantly stocked with new, freshly made and tasty food. The buffet unfortunately is only open for dining (in the dining room) from Thursday to Sunday but on telephone orders, (Almost all week) Buffet Open online and from (Tuesday to Saturday before dinner time.) You can now order online with all the options plus a discount! During the buffet on site, the waitress was smiling and kind. When the business was acquired by the new owners, there was a drop in the quality of service and food, but everything seems to be returning to the level of other times. We really enjoyed our last 2 visits to the Ho-Boun restaurant

I placed an order at the counter when I got inside I saw the waitress take 4 eggrolls from the buffet and tell the other person Im going to put another batch back!! I told the girl at the counter I dont want old eggrolls in my bag, order to bring that I ordered with something else she tells me no no! Arrived at my house guess what I have some old eggrolls in my bag and general tao which is reheated!! A disgusting order! I do not recommend this restaurant!! Go somewhere else!! I called the restaurant twice to speak to the manager and no one called back with any service!! Parking: No parking space!!

Lunch in the dining room today. Good welcome. Good, varied food at the buffet although not hot enough. Dining room half full. A tip: Arrive around noon, at which time the food is freshly prepared for the buffet.

2 hours for a delivery to Pointe-Calumet without being informed of the waiting times!!!! We called at 4:20 p.m. and received the food at 6:20 p.m.... Lets just say we had to cook another meal for the young children when we would like to take a meal break this evening!!!!!! Having known, I would have gone to get the food!!!!!!

Really disappointed. We have been ordering there for years and this was the last time we ordered there. The broccoli beef tasted like baking soda and the food was bathed in oil. I dont recommend it at all.

My parents brought me as a child. Never disappointed despite the change of ownership. An order of $118.00 and only the rice and egg rolls were drinkable. Really disappointed. Sausages and sparibs in oil, I was looking for the syrup. I call to explain my disappointment and tell me what I am not affected by, refunded in full. And for the rest (only 3/4 flat) I will credit you 10% whatever. I wont be going there again and dont suggest it either.

Were not even noticed as new customers, I asked for information on the operation at the table next door, the vegetables cooked crispy, very good but in a sauce a little too salty for my taste!!! Edible but nothing super delicious!!! The spare ribs are also good! The desserts lack taste!!! Single scoop for ice cream lying around in stagnant water, I used a Dessert Spoon which is in a bin next to it!!! Several interesting flavors!

They forget to put spices in their dishes. Their beef chop suey tasted nothing and we had to spice it up ourselves.

Cheap, but not even worth the price. Friday closes at 9 p.m., I arrive at 7:15 p.m. the buffet is almost empty and only crumbs are added. Even more wonton soup. The grill bar is closed and what remains is shabby. Extremely disappointed. It looks like theyre passing us leftovers from the day before. Brief Do not go. Even the biscuits almonds are not edible.

I ordered on September 13, 2023.. I received a soup with gray pasta.. not eaten, the rice and egg rolls were black and dry. Spareribs dry and chewy for a long time, chicken balls with red sauces tasted damp and not enough sauce. In the number 3 that I ordered there was only the Chow Mein which had an edible taste.. I worked in a Chinese restaurant and I know that the dishes were several days old and they only reheated...a paste of soup that changes from white to gray it takes at least 5 days..very very disappointed with this restaurant I wont call anymore.

A real scam this restaurant the gentleman at the cash register tells us the menus are on the table we choose and when we go to pay he tells us that the price which is written is from 4 years ago and this would not have occurred to him to tell us before we order well no like that well you have to pay well its boring but he didnt get a tip!!! Insulte à la culture chinoise, à la nourriture, que dis-je, à l humanité. Plats (si on peut les qualifier de plat) absolument dégueulasse. Aucune saveur, à part le violent goût du sel et du sucre. Certaines choses, comme le riz frit ou les biscuits au amandes, étaient toutes simplement repoussantes. Si vous envisagez manger là, je vous dirais que vous passeriez un meilleur moment à mourir de faim.

Spa donner mais toute coute chere dans les restaurant.. cest surement le pire point et certaine option on a pu pour changer les trio et mettre les ailes de poulet... mais leur riz est hyper bon et le best chow mein jai manger... communication un peu compliquer... ca reste que ho boun as toujours ete un hall of fame pour le chinois

I have been a customer since the opening and I was very satisfied. But for the last 2 orders I noticed a deterioration in the quality of the food. In addition, with the last order we had to reheat everything in the microwave.

April 7, finally we return to the buffet abandoned since the pandemic. What a disappointment to see leftover dishes at 12:30 p.m., the eggroll sauce is sticky at the bottom of the pot, same thing for the red sauce. As for desserts where are the choices and oops no more ice cream At the checkout I realize that the price is now $17. After almost 35 years of loyalty, its disappointing that I have to face the facts, this is my last visit, I who went there about once a month. I give 1 star for the wonton soup when there are noodles.

We tried their Indian cuisine. A little expensive but really very good. No equivalent in the area. The butter chicken is to die for. As for Chinese cuisine, its not bad.

I am speechless. Degeulase, excruciating, makes you feel nauseous. I placed an order for over $100 for a surprise party. I had a #5 for 5 with 3 extra soup, extra 10 egg rolls and extra broccoli beef. The broccoli was so cooked that it became pureed when you put it on the plate. The general tao was not cooked and I received it like when I order for 2. The soup was all shredded as if they had given us their funds. I was embarrassed to serve junk to my guests. Luckily I had cooked other things to accompany it. 3/4 of my order went to the compost. I contacted the restaurant the next day, since my party was over and guess what, the lady in question told me: you didnt call yesterday to get new food, I cant do anything. WHAT! I wouldnt have wanted the new food, I felt sick. I can come out of the compost to give you proof. And told me no, nothing to do, maybe we can give you $2 on your next order. NEVER IN THE LIFE I CAN GO BACK, BAD SERVICE AND BAD QUALITY OF FOOD

We arrived 30 minutes after opening, the beef was lukewarm or cold, the waitress told us to wait 5 minutes for the stove to heat it up!!! What they serve, even though it would be hot, is really disgusting. The vegetables were overcooked, the wonton soup broth was not good, the rest was frankly no better. The last thing I tasted was the coup de grace, I spat it on my plate, it was disgusting. When you talk to them at the cash register, they look at you in disbelief and hold out their hands so that we can pay them without a discount even after having told them frankly. I hope now that we wont be sick tonight or tomorrow because there was obviously nothing fresh.

The food was very dry and hard. You can tell the food sat there for long periods of time because there had been a film covering the food and you can taste the heat lamp inside the food. Worst place, and I will never return

Excellent! Livraison rapide et nourriture de type buffet américano-chinois. Les légumes étaient encore un peu croquants et délicieux. Parfait comme bouffe de réconfort de fin de semaine! Exactly the kind of buffet-style Chinese food we wanted. My wife (who wrote the French part of this review) and I were impressed by the quality of the food... veggies were perfect, no MSG as far as we can tell (didnt need to drink 10 gallons of water afterwards!) and lots of beef in the beef & broccoli. The menu choices are varied and delicious

The food is good, the staff is always smiling even if they are busy. Very good efforts from management in relation to covid. For those dissatisfied with customer service, having witnessed it, receptionists take the time to confirm and repeat the order each time before hanging up. People are quick to accuse and threaten with the OPC simply because it is a small business when they do not take the time to listen to the receptionist.

Really nasty on delivery. The friendly delivery man at least. We ordered an extra $10 of Soo Guy chicken which we didnt receive. After calling to report it they said they would send it right away and we received it 1 hour and 15 minutes later after 7am. Pitiful!!!! Last experience with this restaurant which will not last long. Being in the restaurant business I cant believe there can be so much lack of professionalism.
