Tasty au gratin onion soup and served to perfection. Linguini cooked al dente covered in a creamy Alfredo sauce that was a little too garlicky for my taste. Perfectly seasoned beef tartare with fried potatoes. Nice wine list appropriate to the menu and type of restaurant...reasonably priced wine. For dessert, a perfect semi-cooked...almost crispy on the outside and runny on the inside. Impeccable and friendly service. We give a 4 for atmosphere because, for many reasons, your establishment is very popular with the brewery style. THANKS !

We went to Texas Star for our Christmas dinner and everyone loved the meal. The service was excellent and all the staff very courteous. We didnt know that the restaurant closed at 9 p.m. and left a little later, but no one made us feel like we were too many. We recommend and will probably repeat the experience. Thank you so much!

Sunday November 3, we had a reservation at 5:30 p.m. because our show at Zenith was at 7 p.m. We place the order for the main meal (without starter) around 5:45 p.m., noting to the waitress that we have a show. She told us no problem, around 6:30 p.m. still no plate. Conclusion it is 6:50 p.m. she tells us that our plates are about to arrive... we left without take out at 6:55 p.m. They even made us pay the $80 we ordered for drinks, NO COMPENSATION. I watched the boucar diouf show with the salesman gurgling. Aware that it is not the waitress who makes the food, but she could have offered better service, she wanted us to wait for our plates. First & last time.

My partner had a $50 steak and didnt eat it because he couldnt do it: lack of tenderness, few vegetables in his dish. My teenager had pasta alfredo but wasnt able to eat half the dish because it was too cheesey. For my part, I took a TACO salad without meat and can you imagine that I probably got food poisoning because I ate the flat taco. So the Texas Star was MY place when it was at mr. Mathers. But now I dont plan on going back or recommending it. Its unfortunate.

The chicken taco salad was disappointing. A chicken breast cooked in a broth, dry and white.

Nice overall experience, generous portions, unfortunately the Fleury onion was undercooked which made it very difficult to eat.

Kitchen ; we had fajitas, quesadillas and ribs. Risen and it was delicious. The waitress did everything to make it pleasant for us. When the restaurant is full, however, it gets noisy.

It was full, but at least we had a chance to sit at the bar. Good service, good portions, the steaks a little overcooked for our taste but very good nonetheless.

We really liked our experience. The food was excellent. As a starter, we had cocktail shrimp and fried squid. 5 large shrimp on ice and the squid was tender. Prime rib and beef skewers. Excellent meat. Skewer didnt taste much like the marinade but the meat was very tender. Crunchy vegetables and a good baked potato. Semi-cooked with raspberry coulis and crème brûlée. Too runny for my taste when cooked halfway but its a matter of taste. Mojitos and Bloody Marys. We didnt like the mojitos. The server was very courteous but completely overwhelmed. Waiting time was long between services. In the end we will return. Well done to the restaurant.

The atmosphere is not like the good old Texas Star but the restaurant as a whole is still very good.

We were going to a play in St-Eustache, looking for a more high-end restaurant before the event. Sadly the place we wanted was closed on that day. We ended up at Texas Star. To our surprise the filet mignon, the shrimps and other ordered was exquisite to say the least. Cooked to perfection, with oversized portions, it certainly beat both the quality and quantities of most excellent steakhouses like Gibby or Boeuf Cochon. I would definitely recommend. We did learn from the very friendly bilingual staff, that the chef that evening was the owner so not sure if he made the difference but it was excellent!!! Highly recommended.

When I arrived, I asked if it was possible to have a seat, but I was told that it was already reserved. I then asked if it was possible to have a coffee table, but was also told that it was reserved. When the hostess walked by me, I told her it was unfair and that we had asked for the same thing first. She just ignored me and waved her hand. The food is ok, but too expensive for what it is. My daughter and I were served by a waitress named Myriam.....and where do I begin...no smile, impatient and no manners....The worst part was when serving the food. .. when I noticed that my meal was not the one ordered... I often eat out of restaurants but its been a long time since Ive had such a good meal. The Flowering Onion even conquered the taste buds of my daughter who hates onions . If you enjoy a steak and are a purist who would never put sauce on your perfectly grilled meat, at Texas Star do yourself a favor and taste the sauce that will accompany your meat because it goes perfectly with it and the whole family dipped its fries in my portion . This restaurant has just taken its place at the top when Im craving a great steak.

When I want to eat a good flank steak, this is the restaurant! But, it must be said that all the meals I have eaten there are delicious and of sufficient quality. Excellent service by Léa, very courteous and smiling (although she was a little in the juice due to lack of staff, but we were not in a hurry!) The land and sea is delicious, the cooking perfect (blue cheese on request for me , medium-rare for sir). And the little extra goat s cheese on the steak, I recommend! And for stout lovers like me, they have O hara s (in a can). In short, this dinner was a delight. It was worth it, even if in terms of comfort, the high tables arent great... Wonderful experience!!! We went to the Texas restaurant for the first time for Mothers Day. When we arrived, the restaurant was full but the attention at the reception was excellent. We got to a second floor but we asked to have a table close to the buffet when we arrived, because my mother-in-law was unable to walk much. They prepared another table for us closer to the buffet as soon as one became available. The service from the staff was remarkable, the hostess, the waitresses and even the owner of the restaurant came to see us to ensure that our experience at the restaurant was excellent. The food was fresh and delicious. Thank you so much! It was a great discovery! We will definitely return and we highly recommend it
