Bad overall food quality and mediocre service
I liked the place, the food was at the top, the prices are fair based on options and quality for an "All you can eat" dinner menu. Not sure about the low rate reviews, the place was great as the staff service.
Firtd time was decent but second was terrible. I took a seat and nobody went to offer anything even if they saw me. The staff are just teenagers hanging out. Never coming back.
AVOID AT ALL COST!!! Too expensive for the food quality. Wife got sick because of uncooked chicken. 37$/person for this excuse of a restaurant meal is a joke. Please be aware that no waiter will come to your table unless you flag one and request. Used to be good when they opened. Food quality and taste has decreased greatly. Also, it takes a very long time to get what you ordered even if there is not many people. Table was sticky. Personel had a bad attitude when we reported the issues.

I have been there twice, once for dinner and once in the evening and very poor service. We had to get up and go to get drinks several times...
Tonight it was very good but the beef was really soft and tasteless. My only other criticism comes from the fact that the tablets are disgusting, they should be cleaned between each customer!
Cuisine: the chicken was poorly cooked and not tender at all and the steak was dry and untasty fried rice. I ordered the same fried rice twice and I didnt get the same thing. Service: was good but its not a place for families with children there isnt even a changing table in the bathroom or space on the counter to do so. group atmosphere without children and price level is good.

Courteous service A little confusion when paying but after ordering the bill on the tablet and waiting 10 minutes we got up to wait a few minutes at the counter... a person who was working passed by a few times without looking at us and finally a young man arrived so that we can pay the bill. This is the only downside, the food was excellent and a good choice of dishes. We loved it!

I had dinner at this place with the unlimited sushi option. What a surprise to me to see that it wasnt just sushi, but soup, general tao chicken etc... I love sushi but I liked that they offered the possibility to those who like less , to have other choices. I really liked not having to wait for the server to place our order. Everything is done on a tablet, so faster. The price? Wow! It was dinner, but I ate my fill and it didnt cost much! I recommend this place. Fresh, good and inexpensive! It was my first experience at Shogun and I really liked my wonton soup as well as my chicken fried rice! Quick service and generous portion. On the other hand, we hear the sounds of dishes in the kitchen a little too much. Reasonable price also. A bit cold atmosphere though but nothing to spoil my visit. I would go back to try other dishes.

On Thursday, I tried to reserve a table for Saturday, but was told that it is now impossible to reserve for only two people. So, on Saturday evening after the rush, we showed up and received the response at reception that there was no room in the dining room (there were at least 6 tables free). including several of two people). We asked her why we couldnt reserve our table and she told us that they have to maximize the seats.
My partner tried to reserve a table to celebrate our anniversary this week and was told that the restaurant no longer reserves less than 4 people. We showed up on Saturday evening only to be refused entry as the dining room was full. I would like to point out that the person at reception did not even look into the dining room to see and that several tables of 2 people were free, but not cleared. In addition, several tables of 4 people were free. We asked her why we couldnt make a reservation and she stupidly told us that we had to maximize the restaurants seats. So now, romantic evenings are no longer accepted at this restaurant. Unfortunately, being a Saturday night, no one else could take us since we didnt have a reservation. Very very disappointed with the service, already our first experience had been average overall.
We arrived around 8:15 a.m., we were informed that the kitchen closed at 9 a.m., we were going to order everything we wanted quickly which we did, last order at 8:43 a.m. In the end we didnt get half of our sushi order. It was a lot to pay for all you can eat in the end. Do you close at 9 a.m. or 8:45 a.m.? In short, really disappointed!

I was there on March 31, 2023, I was very well served. It really surprised me how fast the service is. I enjoyed spending time there. I will definitely go back. Vegetarian options: It has a nice veggie and vegan sushi section on the menu. Dietary restrictions: You can leave a note after ordering or before to say that you are allergic to anything.
Impeccable service, really delicious food, my only criticism is that the tempuras are not properly cooked. Update: how is it possible to go from impeccable service to the worst restaurant experience of my life. Yes my dear if your tablets are not charging thats your problem... I dont have to get up more than 8 times because I cant order... we arrived at 7 p.m. and after 8 p.m. good minutes to wait for my shrimps I ask why...I am told that the cooks are all on break....at the same time in full service...I have been a cook for a long time and I actually worked as a sushi chef for 5 years...in what world does your whole kitchen go on break in the middle of service maybe thinking about hiring something other than children for your biggest service of the week would be an idea....worst restaurant experience of my life! Its clearly not worth the price!

Friday evening 7 p.m., first (and quite possibly last) experience for the 3 of us. We had just arrived and at least 4 waitresses came over within 5 minutes asking us if we were ready to order. We ended up saying yes to the last one (very nice). We received our dishes quickly (fair quality) but my plate was missing a choice. I told myself that I would tell her when she came back but from that moment and for the next 2 hours sitting at this table, no one else! No one came to ask us if we wanted something else, if it was to our liking etc. No one to bring us the bill, we had to go and ask for the bill at the counter..The staff outside all smoking together while there are several customers, the manager of the year who goes outside, opening the door with a bang walk in front of the customers... really classy! In short, there is a lot of lack of supervision in this place which seems to be managed by children. When there is a permanently closed sign I won t wonder why.

Very interesting experience. Order at will from electronic tablets. A lot of choices. Courteous service during the visit. Reasonable price for what is offered. In terms of quality, Im not a sushi expert but I liked what I ate. In my opinion, a group visit is more interesting than going there alone. During the visit we were four adults and it was very pleasant.

Very ordinary service from the moment we arrived. As for the food, the tempura batter was never cooked enough or crispy in any dish. The tempura shrimp was so soft that it didnt even stand up straight. The fried squid was molasses in addition to being ultra rubbery. Chicken wings are served dry, plain, without any flavor or sauce. In short, none of the dishes were satisfactory. It was also extremely hot in the restaurant and the air conditioning on the wall was off, dusty and no longer seemed functional. Its better to invest $40 in a real good sushi restaurant rather than in this all you can eat sushi.
The food was good, but the service left something to be desired. The restaurant was almost empty and we had to get up after more than 30 minutes to ask for the a la carte menu... and the same thing to get the bill. Next time I will take my sushi to go.
Much too long! The service is very good, nothing to say, the dishes very good. On the other hand, 1 hour of waiting between orders on the tablet and arrival on the table, no thank you! After 2 hours, youve barely eaten anything, youre not even hungry anymore and youre waiting.... Never saw the last orders, after 2:30, we gave up.

I am a regular customer, after a difficult start, mainly due to lack of staff and/or frequent turnover, where the wait could be quite long to receive our dishes (on the all-you-can-eat service) and where there were regular shortages, we can say that it has evolved well! Now it hits really well, the dishes are always good, and Im never sick, which means the sushi is very fresh! For the service, nothing to say, once again, today the service is very good, the waiters and waitresses are on point, always very kind and smiling. To finish the atmosphere, it is a big strong point among all the restaurants, the QUIET, no music with excessive volume, where we are forced to scream to be heard, this is what makes it a friendly place where we enjoy spending time with friends. Not like others where we rush out before even considering dessert, with ringing ears and broken voices. Special mention to the manager, who felt like she was growing wings and who gave us quite a show this Saturday evening, we really had a good laugh, we will come back again
We went there as friends to celebrate Halloween on a Saturday. The interior was nice; Japanese atmosphere still successful. But the music was really rubbish... it made the atmosphere incongruous. But hey. For food: unlimited formula. We order items on a tablet. It was generally good but inconsistent at times. The sushi is very good! The Japanese dishes are the ones I would recommend the most. On the other hand, the hot dishes are a little bland and lack taste. Sometimes, items we ordered didnt arrive... and we had to order new ones. A little flat. Super nice and friendly service. We had fun!

Just incredible value for money! What a variety and to my surprise everything was fresh, no aftertaste. I liked having control of my order with their tablet system. Sunday 11:30 a.m., the restaurant opens at 11 a.m. but we are made to hang around outside for long minutes with our young children because it does not seem to be a priority to open the door for us. We go to the bathroom, me and my daughter, with my cell phone flashlight because there is no light downstairs. You have to ask the waiter everything when you meet him because he wont come to check that everything is okay. We had left a 5 star the week before but now the service is just ridiculous. I order a mojito, I get a 7up. I didnt drink it but I was still charged $6.50 for it. On their payment machine, here are the tip options 15%, 18%, 25% or 30%!!!! I should have left nothing and handed everything directly to the cook. In short, excellent food but just terrible service, Ive never seen that!

First, if you like eating sushi and have eaten it several times from several different restaurants, perhaps you will find their recipes passable. This is in no way the fault of the employees, who must follow the recipes, but I was not impressed at all; I never understood the point of putting tempura inside a sushi intended to be fried, and I dont understand the point of adding it on top. Its like putting fried in a fried and sprinkled the whole thing with fried. In your sushi you will find the classic ingredients: avocado cucumber tempura spicy sauce protein. Nothing that makes a particular sushi go wow, they all taste pretty much the same. Secondly, I am totally aware that this restaurant is still in progress, but it is by no means normal to never see the waitress. I imagine this is the consequence of using a tablet to order. The restaurant would make a lot more money by making sure that everyone in the restaurant has enough to drink, or wants to drink, at all. We were brought to our tables, given the tablet and a pitcher of water. Thank you good evening. My partner was able to get his sangria at the end of the meal, after managing to intercept a waitress. Third, tablets. What are the advantages of tablets for restaurants? Orders placed probably go directly to the right ones in the kitchen. How worth it? I dont know... the shelves were questionably clean, we could see a thick layer of grime, to the point where we wondered if it had been washed between customers. Disgusting. In addition, we had the sincere impression that the tablet minimized contact with the waitress. So, did I like my meal? Yeah. I had a great time with my partner despite the lack of atmosphere in the place (no music), as for the food, OK but nothing more. Lets just say that the last fried sushi I ate tasted so much like oil (probably because it was soaked in it) that it left a bitter taste in my mouth. Will I go back there, maybe one day but I will definitely go elsewhere before returning to this place, especially since for the same price I can eat much better sushi and be as full as in this all u can eat

We waited 30 minutes before seeing a server. And 20 minutes later we hadnt even had our bottle of wine. So we left to eat elsewhere. I had booked and it wasnt even noted. Really not recommend if you eat a la carte.
Very ordinary service, we waited for forks for 2 hours without having them and after asking 5 times to 3 different people (they always told us that they were in the wash). We often had to try to attract the waiters attention by raising our arms so that he would look at us and come see us. It was our first visit and they gave us only one iPad for orders (for 4 people, 2 couples) without ever explaining to us how it all worked. Very young and inexperienced staff. The advertising on the site said bring your own wine which we did only to realize once seated that the St-Georges restaurant (the only one in the chain to do so) was not a bring your own wine) . Choice of red wine on the menu is limited to 3 low-end bottles. Some beers on the menu just werent available either. Choice of desserts 1 only. Positive points of the evening: the speed in serving the ordered dishes was fast, nice concept, nice location, the food was good. When paying the bill the terminal suggests a minimum 18% tip (??) which was really not deserved during our visit on September 9, 2022. Bill $100 for 2 people +/-. Not sure Ill go back.
Not impressed at all, I expected much better. Just one sauce for 2 combos of 17 pieces + 2 sushi pizzas and a tiny portion of ginger. Too much rice and not enough toppings, it lacks taste. I would have liked an explosion of flavors. We are far from the sushi that I consumed in the big cities of Canada.

We (4) visited this restaurant on September 9. The welcome was neglected and the service was really inexperienced. We were only able to have 2 forks for 4 people. It is very disappointing to read on the website that you can bring your own wine and that once inside, you are told that the St-Georges restaurant is the only one in the chain not to apply this policy. Disappointed with our experience.

An excellent service has parking with access for wheelchairs. The bathrooms are very nice. The spectacular decoration. I love this place, you can order alcoholic drinks. It is a place to share with the family. They accept children. It has wheelchair access. The dishes are affordable for everyone and the prices are very fair. There is a service that is called at will and gives you a table and you can order the dishes you want and the service only costs approximately 31 dollars per adult, children approximately 20 dollars. The service is very good, it has 2 entrances, one for the main one and another through the parking lot at the back. I ate a dish that costs 21 dollars with the tax included, a great dish and the flavors are very good. They have the ability to use good sauces on a suchi but you can feel the consistency and flavors independently of each ingredient of the dish they serve you. It is excellent. Vegetarian options: They have different vegetarian dishes in different presentations Parking: There is more or less enough parking for 10 cars and there is also in its surroundings since it is in front of the public shopping center.
