I would like to give 0 with you, I arrived at the restaurant last Saturday, the waitress asked me to back away like a dog without saying anything in explanation, then she called a group of Quebecers because I was there before, I arrived before. When I asked the question why she was acting like that she told me these people had booked, I said you dont have to explain to me before pushing me away like that maam, she told me she didnt has no explanation to give me. This is the story that was happening at the baboche restaurant in Saint-Hyacinthe because they say they are not racist. You chronic racist.

We booked at this restaurant for a group of 26 people. Once there, we were informed that a new rule applies to groups of 15 and more when selecting a steak. Instead of 3 accompaniments to choose from, these are selected by the cooks. We took our chance Result: Carrots, broccoli and mushrooms We would have liked to have been informed before being there, we could have selected another place for our meal. As for the service, I had to settle for my one and only glass of water served when I arrived at the table. No visits for any filling. Definitely my one and only visit to this place, strongly not recommended.

A practical place because it is open 24 hours with friendly staff and a very interesting menu. The prices are reasonable for very good value for money. Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian dishes that are very good.

Arriving from Quebec to see a play, we stopped for dinner at this place, what an extraordinary discovery , everything was perfect, the welcome, the atmosphere (songwriter on site) the food, the service and the desserts . We will definitely return there during a little road trip

La Baboche, how should I say it! Almost Excellent. At first glance, the decor is beautiful, a pleasant theme. The draft pumps, allenbiques, frames, lighting and a splendid ceiling make this place a restaurant to put on your visit list. Very clean place. As for the atmosphere, the crooners music at just the right volume transports us to another era. The service was fabulous, welcome with a big smile, pleasant people who still have a passion for the profession and attention to detail at all times in our bruch, all efficient and just discreet enough not to feel (rusher). As for somewhat ordinary food, good fresh food without too much flavor in the case where sausage and scrambled eggs can have a more than ordinary flavor... on the other hand the baked beans are very very tasty. Finally a pleasant brunch, guaranteed relaxation, excellent service. CONGRATULATIONS to the whole team.

First visit, a nice surprise, very beautiful decor, we had reserved and were received with a smile at reception. Marco our waiter, friendly, efficient, answered our questions on the menu politely. The place is large. A singer was there,Christopher; a beautiful voice a pleasant repertoire. I hate musicians or singers in restaurants but we found it on the tick. Lots of choice for aperitifs. The prices are good. The meal, beautiful presentation and delicious, we ate it all .The portion was just perfect.We ordered the salmon tartare.We will definitely come back to try other auenu choices.The desserts are said to be decadent..

One block from the convention center. Despite the fact that the conference of the Association of Ski Resorts of Quebec was taking place, and the fact that we reserved our hours, their service was very slow and poorly adapted. A borderline waitress with a you re bothering me attitude. A feeling shared by the other ski resort directors with whom we shared our feelings.

First and unfortunately last time for me...The food was not up to the price, meals that were eaten hot arrived cold and small portions. The waitress didnt know the menu and she also presented us with the desserts, but not the menu with the prices and clearly the quality and the semi-cooked portion is not worth $10. Wait 1h30 for uncooked chicken cordon bleu, boiled vegetables without any seasoning, uncooked fries and a side of cold sourdough. The waitress does not do her job at all, worst service ever and she even apologized at the end for her incompetence. Half the menu was unavailable, its ridiculous. Worst restaurant Ive been to in my life, I will never go back there and I will strongly advise against it to those around me. I stepped in and came out hungry with a $150 bill and nothing to eat on my plate. This place is downright stealing.

Great little bistro with its specialties this evening. It was a Burger. Named the Decadent Burger. Super nice and good burger served with fries and spicy mayo on the side. We went there for lunch and clearly, thats not their strength. We had already gone there for dinner and it was good (although expensive for the quantity)... On this Sunday morning: the lady at the reception was very nice but the waiter... A really very disappointing service! Very big disappointment, great scam. I understand that it was late (midnight), but when a restaurant is open 24 hours, I tell myself that it should look good... On the menu, everything looks really good. When the plates arrive, it s a whole different story. First, for a 6-inch pizza at $22, we expected good food. Result; frozen dough more than thin, supposed fresh cream sauce which tastes like Carbonara Sidekicks, tiny bacon, some spinach and absence of crushed tomatoes we asked if it was normal that there were no tomatoes, we brought us some Fontaine Santé bruschetta to put on top. Next, Nachos with cheese sauce without green onions, without tomatoes, without hot peppers and without cheese sauce as indicated on the menu. The sauce that was brought to us next to the plate was clearly the same Sidekicks white sauce with imitation bacon and we probably got the bottom of the bag since the chips were wet. Luckily there was some pizza bruschetta left to add to our nachos Finally, our 2 drinks were charged $10 each after we were told that there was no more vodka to make the cocktail . We asked if it was possible to add another alcohol to replace Finally, 2 half-empty glasses of cranberry juice and lime juice, clearly WITHOUT ALCOHOL. Finally, $72.43 for a frozen pizza, nachos that soaked up the humidity before reaching our table and 2 half glasses of cranberry juice.. Last time for us, too bad, it was the only restaurant open for people who finish working late in the evening

Half a charcuterie platter (generous and tasty), two gallopins (2x4oz) and the main course cost me around thirty dollars (plus tax and tip). I might have eaten more, but I knew the portion sizes when I placed my order. The menu is accessible to a wide range of wallets AND gourmands: traditional carnivorous, flexitarian, fancy, pork . First visit to Baboche with a friend: we loved the decoration, the place is really beautiful. We ate on the terrace and the waitress gave good advice. My friend ate the tuna tataki as a starter and the salmon tartare as a main course: she loved her dishes. I had a Caesar salad (very good) and the veal flank steak (I didnt like the sauce, too sweet, which covers all the meat). I will definitely come back to Baboche, a very nice discovery! Parking: Free spaces at the front and side of the establishment Wheelchair accessibility: An access ramp at the rear and lowered sidewalk at the front.

Too bad we love this restaurant. On this Thanksgiving day, we were a group of 11. Only 2 small tables used in the restaurant. The waitress looked stupid as hell. We seemed to be disturbing despite a reservation. At least 20 minutes before seeing the waitress. She didnt ask us if we wanted anything to drink. We got turned around when we asked if we could have lunch. We had dinner. We didnt see her again until we had finished eating. Very long service to get our plates despite an empty restaurant. Very disappointed with the plates. Fish n chip and fries thats it for $26. We love the restaurant, well come back... but we were really disappointed.

Well OK, to be told at 6:00 p.m. that they make poutine just from 10:00 p.m. thats normal in.......! Luckily they made one for me anyway and their poutine is good but not at all impressive... good value for money, nothing more for the size of the poutine! As for the rest, I dont think Ill go back to try it in case they dont serve what I want to eat at the scheduled time on their menus... for the rest its up to you to judge

Excellent service from Maya and the cooks who, despite their lack of staff, made great dishes. The restaurant was full, there were only 2 waitresses on the floor and Maya was able to have her eyes everywhere despite the situation! We had a wonderful evening, thank you!

very bad experience! we went to lunch. At noon the restaurant was empty! the lumberjacks casserole looked more like a gibelotte and what can we say about the eggs benedict! poached egg cooked like hard-boiled eggs! I told our waitress, she changed them for me but in the meantime everything else was cold! what can we say about the taost, dry dry dry! had to ask for the baskets of pastries, and it wasnt worth it! never again!

Superb place! If you want to eat well at a price that matches many restaurants where the food and presentation is really ordinary elsewhere in St-Hyacinthe. Varied menus with thoughtful selections. To discover micro beers in Quebec on tap, this is the place! I made a great discovery in the Perfect Match. A white lime and pink pepper . The wine display is impressive as well as the woodwork which majestically adorns this place. I was pleasantly surprised by the choices of original draft beer available on the selections made by the establishment but especially the price of the Micro beers offered on tap which outclasses everything in the region!! $9 for 20 OZ, $23 for pitcher. I suggest the mudboard! A restaurant concept in a relaxed and unique decor and atmosphere. Its worth the detour! Congratulations to the Bistro à broue team!

The waitress went out of her way to satisfy my colleague but this is one of the things that the owners will have to review if they want to attract any kind of clientele. Even me with my lactose intolerance, I found the choices limited but since my idea was made on the rack of ribs, I did not have to ask to have the cheese removed.

Very disappointing experience, I booked 2 to 3 weeks in advance for 6 people, a Christmas party if found on site with entertainment on the microphone, without notifying me of this event, the noise so loud that it was impossible to speak, I cant believe that such an event with microphone in a restaurant should have closed the restaurant to customers, it was unbearable that we had to leave and go elsewhere.

Fish and chips are a real treat. It is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The portion is generous

A contrasting experience in an elegant setting, I recently visited La Baboche for lunch and was immediately seduced by its setting. The restaurant is truly magnificent, with tasteful, modern decor, a superb wine cellar, and well-appointed spaces, including neat toilets. The atmosphere is both beautiful and welcoming. However, despite the visual appeal of the place, my dining experience was somewhat disappointing. I ordered an omelette which turned out to be rather dry and unappetizing. That said, I would like to acknowledge the excellent service provided by the staff, who were both helpful and pleasant. I am willing to give the baboche a second chance, because I believe that every establishment can have an off day. I hope on my next visit to have a culinary experience that matches the quality of the environment and service. See you soon.
