Café Van Houtte in Saint-Hyacinthe

Van houtte in St Hyacinthe is very poorly clean and so is the terrace. People smoke on the terrace so lots of cigarette butts on the ground if this continues it will surely close.

Unclean exterior terrace. Unstable tables, lack of chairs and umbrellas. Trash bins absent. Parking: Free on weekends.

Nice cafe for studying, there is plenty of room, but the coffee taste is ordinary. Little parking outside & time limit (2 hours I think). Sometimes a refuge for certain people experiencing homelessness. The cleanliness of the toilets leaves something to be desired.

The sandwiches are expensive but they are very good and of good quality. This is the perfect place to come and study/revise. Plus, their wifi is fast and so is their service. The baristas are friendly and smiling. I love this place and would definitely recommend it.

I didnt like the cheesecake oat milk shake. Fast and impeccable service. Parking: On the street, goes around 5 times before seeing the 7th car suffer and take its place

$35 for 2 very ordinary small sandwiches and a very small green salad no dressing because there was none . . Plus 2 coffees .!!! A bit expensive ??

Scary terrace, spiders under the tables, ants on our feet, crooked tables. The tables are close together for seating. Last time we set foot there. Too dirty!

The filter coffee is expensive and not as good as I would have thought. A bit cold atmosphere, they are in need of a smile.

The food and coffee are good, but the cleanliness really leaves something to be desired. The chairs were disgusting. I hesitated to sit down. There were no clean free chairs.

I work in customer service so I very rarely complain. I ordered an iced chai but there was no more syrup, I was assured at the checkout that they could make it differently. I received a hot drink, I mentioned the situation to the person who gave me the glass, they told me that it was impossible for me to order an iced chai. The employee who took my order took the time to apologize to his colleague who assured him that it was not his fault but mine. She also added that they could reorder my drink but that next time it would be good if I ordered the right thing because they cant reorder endlessly because I dont know what I want or because ultimately I dont like it. »

Quality drinks but I take away a star for cleanliness...

Coffee always good and several options for all tastes (vegetarian or not, healthy or more indulgent, smoothie or hot coffee, iced and shaken, sweet or not, etc...) Beautiful atmosphere for chatting while having a coffee or doing your work . Lots of room! Good service.

Better coffee than I imagined, so in that sense I was pleasantly surprised. They still remain classic options. Also choice of sandwiches and salads. Nothing spectacular but overall its good for a lunch.

Very good brie sandwich, the coleslaw rather ordinary. Very good coffee. But a little expensive for what it is.

Please note, the schedule is not up to date on Google. On Monday, it closes at 6 p.m. and the waitress puts the food away at 4:30 p.m. Relaxed café to sip your coffee in peace, see friends or simply read or work.

Its still good but I ask for less ice in my smoothie because at almost $7 I dont want to be stuck with 1/3 of slush at the end... so the girl charges me $1 more for extra milk.. Its the opposite of my intention, I just didnt want to pay for slush.

Mega extra super expensive, a mini bottle of juice with an extra small salad with not many vegetables cost me $11. Serious!! No, I wont go back, Im not rich enough to go there. Think about it, for the same price I could have a medium veggie pizza with more vegetables.

One of the only places in Downtown St-Hyacinthe to have a coffee. Good variety of coffee with seasonal specialties. Very large premises, allowing you to work on the internet without being disturbed.

Good service, good coffee, food is also very good. But the prices are exaggerated. $16 for a small sandwich and 2 baby salads. For less money I have a plate of shrimp, rice, fries and salad in a restaurant just behind. And soup and coffee are included.
