Very nice evening at Old Duluth in Ste-Hyacinthe, the food was excellent as well as the service!!

My 5 everywhere will not raise the rating, given the 600 or so comments, but it is deserved. We go there with friends and everyone is happy every time. We sometimes stay there beyond 2 p.m. and no one comes to push us to leave. Service, menu, food everything is excellent.

Really nice and friendly waiter. We were very close to a window so a little away from the groups which was perfect for my partner and me because it was less noisy. The prices are very reasonable. Excellent food (chicken salad and skewer). We will return

- the waitress doesnt seem interested when we dont have alcohol -dont ask if we want something else to drink - didnt offer ketchups as there were fries - we had to ask for a drink - ask at the end of the main meal if it is to our liking - asks if we want anything else, so yes dessert but dont offer coffee or tea, dont bring new napkins (we had to ask him again) - puts the bill on the table very dryly - so not a good attitude at all Not to return to St-Hyacinthe at all

Very disappointed!!! 1 the sun beats very hard in the windows and they are very hot (lack of ventilation) 2 the waitress really not interested when we are alone without alcohol at the table (probably fewer tips in her head) not even me asked if I wanted something to drink. Didnt ask me if everything was to my liking and I had the worst filet mignon of my life! Filled with nerves unable to cut my meat!! Tried 3 times that she sees me to exchange my steak, no way to get her look so... I was entitled to 50% off... seriously its my favorite restaurant ever but the one in st Hyacinth to forget!!! For the rest it was ok... potatoes and rice (not very large portion) Caesar salad was good and generous.

We had reserved for 6 people, despite the restaurant being filled to capacity, we had impeccable service, the waitress was extremely kind, the plates were hot and served quickly, we all had a wonderful evening. Thank you again and keep up the good work, you surely have a great team!

Normally I dont rush when I go to a restaurant, but I felt like it was a rush during service. Our reservation was at 5:00 p.m. we arrived at 4:58 p.m. Barely 3 minutes after our arrival the waitress came to see us 3 times so that we could decide to order. Not even time to say hello to our family -.-. Very disappointing experience. By 6:45 p.m. everyone had finished eating. The waitress comes to see us at 7:12 p.m. sharp to tell us: now we really have to leave, although we had until 7:30 p.m. when we made the reservation. Very poor service and the atmosphere is really disappointing. Please note that I am not exaggerating at all.

This made us feel rushed to leave (when there were 20 minutes left in our reservation). I quote I m really going to have to leave you No thank you. Parking: Very large Wheelchair accessibility: No steps

Feb 14 Valentines Day! Good excuse for a dinner at the restaurant. Arrived as soon as it opened at 11:00am. We were treated to fast service given our arrival time. The choice of the lunch menu is quite varied. To date, I have visited this restaurant several times with my wife (who particularly likes the place). I have tasted all the dishes on the lunch menu. Good ! Its not haute cuisine but between a bill of $300.00 and one of around fifty dollars I admit having enjoyed my dinner with just as much satisfaction. The quality/price ratio takes on its full meaning here. The service was impeccable (a good word for our friendly server, attentive and with an exemplary attitude Raymon51). Very good atmosphere, muted music. Generous portions and their soup is always excellent. On this Valentines Day there was a full house (no less than 200 guests) and there was the presence of several servants to cope with demand and ensure rapid service.

No restaurant atmosphere only Parking: Limited number of places due to many adjacent businesses

If you go to eat at this restaurant be prepared to vomit all evening

Impeccable service, beautiful presentation of the plates with a good portion and meal served hot. Thanks to our waitress Maxyme who was super professional and attentive to our needs.

We went to eat there since all the other restaurants were full for some reason... The servers service (shaved head) was very disappointing in addition to his totally inappropriate response to my colleagues question. The atmosphere is mediocre, the decor leaves something to be desired (it looks old). The quality is passable, but obviously nothing extraordinary. This is a restaurant for those who make do with little and have small budgets. The next time Im in St-Hyacinthe Ill make sure to reserve the restaurant in advance to make sure Im not caught eating in this type of place again (old Duluth)

Chef Jean-Sébastien is excellent! Always smiling and attentive to our requests. The room staff is always available and attentive to our requests. Good restaurant, bring your own wine.

Very very stuck on the other tables!

I apologize but as for the filet mignon, it was not good. A real filet mignon is cut with a fork...when you have to fight with the steak and the knife it doesnt look good. So please take note..

This restaurant, renovated a few years ago, got rid of its benches which makes the place a little noisier but thats the only drawback, the plates are generous and bringing your wine is great. Kid-friendliness: Meals suitable for children

The hamburger steak blackened hard out of 5 people 3 had this dish the three almost didnt eat the steak. On the other hand surf and turf and golden net excellent.

When we arrive our waiter doesnt have a smile on his face, we have to scrub our chairs instead of picking up the crumbs on the table, the waiter puts Jérémy on the chairs not very!!! I took a beef mechanism with papillion shrimp for $38.95, we understand that at that price, you want what you pay for , good red wine sauce oufff too salty bitter, I had to to add sugar so that it is not very edible!!!!! , the butterfly shrimps were overcooked like rubber, the bottom all shriveled, they stuck to the disgusting plate, the salty rice at the end and without flavor, the potato wedges undercooked and bland and the salad with roughly cut pieces we had to I cut them on my plate to eat decently and more, I signal to him he doesnt see so my friend has to go get him, he turns with the tray and spills all the butter on the ground. garlic on the carpet and almost pouring some on my friend oufff for my papillion shrimp they reduced my bill by $4 hahahaha ridiculous!!! I dont recommend it to anyone, its a waste of money!!! Dont go there!!!

Great experience last week. The chicken skewer was tasty. The whole plate satisfied me. The big plus came from the service. Our waitress (whose name I unfortunately did not ask - fairly long black hair, a small piercing in her nostril I think and also worked as a nurse) made a nice difference to our evening. Very professional and authentic. Made us want to invite him to share our meal. Well done !

It had been years since I had been to an Old Duluth ouffff what a shock, when I sat down I noticed that the restaurant was not too clean I even asked for new utensils since mine were not Wasnt too clean

Garlic shrimp starter, shrimp that float like in water...tasteless. The waitress welcomed us after a cigarette break, she smelled of cigarettes ouff. Tasteless rice, my boyfriends garlic snails which also float in garlic butter which looks like water. Accompanying buns are cold. I prefer the old Duluth of St Basile. Finished for us that of St Hyacinthe.

The owners would do well to do a major cleaning. The carpets in the kitchen and bathrooms are disgusting. Fabric chairs should be thrown out and replaced with leather chairs like at some tables. Passing through the bathrooms I took a look I looked at the kitchen and it wasnt much cleaner. Too bad because the meal was delicious and plentiful.

Very beautiful and very large restaurant. Beautiful decor and the womens bathroom is very large. Pleasant atmosphere. The waitress was experienced and provided very good service. She was available and fast. Nice portion and tasty meal!

Negative point: In summer be careful it is really hot in the restaurant. Decor-wise its not quite what I could describe as beautiful, but its acceptable. Positive point: The service is fast and the staff is polite. It s a BYOB. The food was good and the price was right. I recommend the table dhôte and the filet mignon. I will definitely go back.

Comfort food. VD has been around for so long that we cant be surprised not to be surprised by the traditional offering. But when you want an AVV thats not too expensive, its okay.

We love going out to dinner on Wednesday evenings. There are a lot fewer customers, we can talk to each other without having to shout and the service is amazing. My steak was cooked to my liking because I asked our waitress for advice according to the chef who was working that evening. The plate was hot and the service 5 stars.

Always great Old Duluth, but very crowded here!

Correct nothing more. Our waitress was not very present, lacked manners. The rest of the staff seemed ok for example, I think we were in a bad situation. Hardly looked at us, looked away when she was at our table. I served for 6 years and I can tell you that I would not have kept him in my brigade.

The salad came in large clumps, vinaigrette was everywhere on the plate, the meatball was so small and burnt. But the waitress was super nice.

I came this evening for our Christmas dinner with work and the service was excellent and fast I had the butterfly shrimp plate with the Caesar salad and it was succulent!! Also, I dont know if its since the renovations, but I notice that there is a change in the acoustics of the room. Before, we felt like we were in a cafeteria and this evening, we were able to talk to each other without shouting and we didnt hear the buzz of conversations. Its a detail, but its very appreciated :)

I always like a go to, but we book at 5:30 p.m. and when we arrive. They dont have our reservation. On the other hand, the wait was worth it. We ate comfortably until we finished with the main course. The desserts look very good, but Im full haha

I took a Greek salad and it was so gross I got sick. It tasted so much like vinegar and there was so much sauce that it was so wet to eat.

I had the New York cut steak, really not restaurant quality and when it comes to freshness, we cant pass it up. And for my guests plates they were very disappointed. Its been several years since weve been back and it was probably the last time.

We spent a very nice evening at this restaurant and to our great surprise our meals were all served hot and everything was excellent, cooked to perfection! My filet mignon is very good...the pepper and mushroom sauce is also excellent. There was a lot of atmosphere and excellent service We had prejudices about this type of restaurant...usually everything tastes like garlic butter in this type of place but the VIEUX DULUTH in St-Hyacinthe is really different and very pleasant. CONGRATULATIONS to the whole team for your welcome despite the rush and traffic for a Thanksgiving evening. Everything was PERFECT

Noisy place. Very ordinary dinner for the price paid. We were served 1.5 loaves of bread for 2 people!!???Caesar salad (additional charge of $3.00) soggy, dripping and bland, pale rice that tasted nothing, Greek potatoes not quite cooked and also no taste of spices and tiny langoustines. To finish, good portion of baklava, but the puff pastry was also soggy. I have never eaten it like this. $2.95 coffee cup filled just a little more than half. Disappointing.

Its OK as a restaurant if youre vaccinated, otherwise the bosses hit you and kick you out violently (theyre pretty strong, you know). The wine wasnt very good, by the way. It wasnt like that in the days of young Duluth, theres a little lost there, maybe Ill go back there one day...
