Chicken gyros plate for dinner. Not worse...but it lacks flavor. We expected more given the comments we had received. We will not return there. Its a shame. The decor is however very pretty....congratulations for that.

I do not recommend this place at all, I went to eat to celebrate my sons birthday, from the start I did not like the service of the waitress, in short I asked that they change another waitress to the end when I paid the first waitress who took care of me because I didnt like her service. She waited for me at the entrance of the restaurant like a member of a gang to demand that I respect her and she shouted like crazy and very aggressive I asked for the presence of the owner of the restaurant and he told me that it was was justifiable because she told everyone that I said shes stupid thats not true, except that shes a street liar!! How is it possible that they this type of violent and aggressive people thus treating customers and the owner justifies it? and they dont even respect the fact that I was with a minor. I have been to eat in the best restaurants in the world, even in restaurants parked on the street, I have never seen this lack of respect, this waitress has self esteem issues and automatically heads herself this is called stupid without ever saying a word!! this restaurant with an elegant facade has gang members, it was so serious that I had to call the police, to make a complaint, I highly recommend the customers to pay attention to the waiters!! The only thing I liked was the food.

Seriously, I was pleasantly surprised by my dish. I was a little unsure when reading the menu, I admit, but oh so satisfied with my salad! I dont know whats in the little vinaigrette but it tied all the elements together beautifully.

Best Greek restaurant in greater Montreal! You will not be disappointed. We travel 55km when we have the urge to go visit Jimmy the owner! From starters to main courses, desserts and cocktails, EVERYTHING is absolutely delicious and the food is always super fresh. The service is second to none, always very professional with a touch of humor and charming decor. Going there once is adopting it! Takeover bid!

I ordered delivery with Uber this afternoon. I started by eating my pita, then I opened my salad dish and I saw this bebitte fly sticking to my olive! Disgusted, I called your restaurant and the girl who answered only offered me another salad or a dessert, you will understand that after seeing that my heart lifted, plus that I am pregnant, I no longer have any desire to eat, you could have reimbursed me at least my salad is really bad, do I have to go to the restaurant to show you?? I will bring it to you if necessary, no sense, I will never recommend it again, first and last time

This is the second time weve tried. When we want to go out to a restaurant, we tend to forget about this place. However, whether during the week or on the weekend, very good service. All at an affordable price; approximately $85 (including tip) two plates with two desserts. The restaurant is a good size and well laid out. One of the only restaurants that sells me a plate without extra and that I am unable to finish. The taste is great, and the restaurant is very beautiful. The missing star is for the potatoes because I would expect crispier//less juicy potatoes but good taste nonetheless.

The pita club plate is excellent! Vegetarian options: Possibility of having a meal without meat. Parking: Huge parking for all businesses. Kid-friendliness: Childrens menu that comes with beautiful blue slush! Its funny.

The food is good but the service was horrible. One of the employees was rude when we asked for a booth she rolled her eyes which made us feel very uncomfortable. The gentleman who served us had a very nice smile but he did not take care of us or ask us if we wanted to order drinks, desert of anything else. My daughter waited 20 minutes to order a sprite and she gave up as her meal was pretty much done. It s unfortunate because this used to be our favourite place! I think restaurant staff don t realize that when customers eat out, it is not only for the taste of food. We pay to get served, for ambiance and for tasty food. If customer service sucks, well I ll stay home. Hard times are coming in the futur. It would break my heart to see this place not make it through.

After having eaten in many of Montreal s Greek restaurants, I can say that this place is nothing great. I ordered their dish consisting of two souvlaki brochettes on a bed of rice with a side salad which included a tiny slice of feta cheese and a small tzatziki sauce. The brochettes were tiny, cold, dry and flavourless while the homestyle potatoes were greasy and tasted like it. I would compare it to the generic Greek menu of Au Vieux Duluth. It was disappointing to pay $35 with taxes.

Very good quality food On the other hand, inside the restaurant the music is very very loud and very unpleasant. Twice I asked the waitress to turn down the sound on this radio Nothing was done Because of this I wont go back there again. Even if it is good and a varied menu it is quite expensive

It got very bad. Cocktails too sweet, pork pita excessively salty (inedible). The staff are helpful but seem so bored its frustrating. The decoration is beautiful but the loud and inaudible music affects the general atmosphere of the place.

We ordered the chicken souvlaki platter. I was looking forward to a good ´ol souvlaki with tzatziki and a nice Greek salad on the side. We ordered 2 chicken souvlakis in pita, looking to share the rest. The waitress told us there would be a $3 surcharge because we would each get our own dish with potatoes, etc. I was ok with that. What was delivered was 1 dish with 2 empty plates. The meat insides was not chicken souvlaki from a skewer but shawarma carvings. The waitress was nice and offered to change it, but I learned to never return a dish. I figured it would be a few dollars cheaper. The sauce was ok, but not the delicious tzatziki that I love. Potatoes were very good. The most disappointing was the salad. It was not Greek at all - it was iceberg lettuce with a tiny piece of feta and a few slim slice sof tomato with a lousy dressing (and way too much dressing). We picked at it but left most of the salad untouched. I was hoping for an authentic Greek salad of tomatoes, onion, feta, olives, When we were ready to leave, it was taking a while before we saw our waitress, so we went indoors to the cash register. I stood there for a while watching our waitress come and go. She never noticed that we left our table and never noticed me standing there for a while. Eventually another employee noticed, addressed me and told our waitress we were waiting to pay. The last disappointment was with the bill - turns out the gyros chicken carvings were the same price as chicken skewers (brochettes). How disappointing. It seems that every Greek restaurant I try these days is a disappointing Americanized version of Greek. I ll continue to search for a restaurant that serves authentic Greek.

Nice atmosphere but the cut octopus was very dry, the rice mushy and the feta which didnt really taste anything. The waitress was not there often and seemed too eager to give us our plates rather than providing good customer service. A drink that tasted too sweet and nothing except this, I ordered a glass of red wine instead but I received my wine in a childs glass (photo), I really didnt like it. Rarely do I give a restaurant a bad rating.

I came to eat at this restaurant last night with my mother and let me tell you that it s not a place to miss! The atmosphere is super warm and our waitress was really attentive. On the other hand, the highlight was the food, super well presented and with good portions. I ate the grilled octopus and my mother had a chicken pita. Both dishes were fantastic, really fresh and cooked to perfection. Thank you Souvlaki bar, I will come back!

This evening we ate for the first time at Souvlaki Bar, why we waited so long despite hearing such good comments I dont know. From the welcome, the waiter Angelo, the food, everything was PERFECT, even the owner came to greet us and ask us if everything was okay. 5 STARS well deserved, 10 if I could give 10. Not going there is regrettable.

We received the plates fairly quickly, however, we waited 40 minutes to have the plates removed and receive the bill. A single server on a Tuesday evening for the entire dining room is not a good idea. The girls at the bar could have helped at least a little, but no...the food was very good though. PS: there is no WiFi in the restaurant.

My friend Mathieu took me there to taste the legendary Souvlaki Bar salad! My expectations were high, but I was not disappointed!! The salad is beautiful, the portion generous. The freshness of the vegetables is remarkable. A good portion of chicken cooked to perfection. I loved my experience, from the phone call to have my order prepared to the delivery of it. Courteous, attentive staff! My compliments to the chef! I recommend!

Beautiful place and impeccable service but...my wine was served in a soft drink glass which ruined the experience. No photos on the menu and it is not clear; basically, we have to ask questions to know what were eating. And the Greek potatoes were not roasted but rather soaked in liquid and so cooked that I could have pillaged them. Overall, not impressed.

Absolutely perfect! The plate for 2 Pelletée de meat is gigantic, we were not able to finish everything, which never happens. So much meat, and for the price!! It was simply excellent: several different flavors and seasonings for each choice, whether pork, beef, chicken, and Greek potatoes with a lemon flavor, it was succulent! And dessert: baklava-style cheesecake; a superb and delicious idea. The decor is very beautiful, very refined with large windows and beautiful decoration, from the chairs to the frames and the painting. Comfortable benches, we spent almost 2 hours there chatting to the sound of ambient music, without seeing the time pass. The place is also very clean and there is a huge terrace lit up in the evening. And what about the service: perfectly adequate. Just present enough, giving us time between services, always a well-filled glass of water. We dont feel rushed. This restaurant discovery is a big plus on my list of favorites, on all levels, and Im already looking forward to my next visit.
