Its been a long time since I had such a good Indian meal.

We ate once, it wasnt good, the two dishes we ordered had the same spicy and creamy taste yet they were two completely different dishes. The place was clean and the atmosphere was good but the taste was not there.

I recently had dinner at Namaste Restaurant, and it was simply delicious! The butter chicken was creamy and full of flavor, and the naan bread was a real treat. Every bite was flavorful, with perfectly balanced spices. I highly recommend Namaste to anyone who loves Indian food!

I dont understand peoples comments that its not authentic Indian cuisine. It is a family restaurant, managed by an Indian family established in St Jean for several years. Sandeep offers excellent service and the dishes are generous, tasty and very affordable! I recommend 100% Leave it to the grumpy people

One of the few restaurants in St Jean sur, so I thought Id try it. It was not good at all, tasteless, very very creamy and sweet, the taste was so artificial that you wonder if their meat was real or silicone.

First visit for lunch. A delicious lentil soup with a good taste of lemon and coriander was served to us to start the meal. We had the Tandoori chicken and the chicken curry accompanied by rice and vegetables in the lunch express. Everything was very good and affordable. The restaurant is beautiful, worthy of the largest tables with its white tablecloths and white cloth napkins. The staff is kind and smiling. We will definitely return.

Tonight was my first experience at this place and wow!! What more can be said than a moment of pure happiness! An explosion of flavors. All my senses were awakened. Everything was exxxcellent!! And Im not even exaggerating. I have had the chance to enjoy typical Indian cuisine on several occasions and tonights experience was beyond my expectations. The restaurant is magnificent, everything is harmonious and balanced between each of the elements, which provides a pleasant harmony to our senses. The decoration is still quite sober, and it is very well ventilated. The welcome is warm and the staff have a particularly pleasant sense of humor. The waiter had a beautiful, mystical and dark look. And class and respect for women, which we are no longer really used to in 2024 unfortunately. The tastes rich in flavors, the temperature of the food, our glasses always filled at the right times, the waiting time between each course, the decoration, the cleanliness of the place, the music, the waiters suggestions, the welcome, etc. .. Everything was PERFECT and I wouldnt hesitate for a second to bring my family and friends there. I 100% recommend to anyone who needs to spice up their life.

Seriously, its the worst Indian Ive eaten in my life... Sorry, we ordered from skip dishes and we were only able to eat 5 bites.. My girlfriend says its a shame for the Indians.... And for me to take the trouble to write here, that says it all!!! Sorry but 80 dollars later, its a steal...

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. (samosa, onion bajhi, butter chicken, curried lamb, rice and naan bread) The wine list also offers a choice at normal prices, thank you! The service is friendly, the waiter even makes little jokes. The atmosphere is pleasant with traditional music. Everything was perfect for a great evening with friends! I will come back and I will recommend your restaurant!

We went on a non-busy weekday evening. Calm and welcoming environment. Very kind staff who welcomed us without delay. They were kind enough to find us a table suitable for a 3 year old child which definitely allowed us to better enjoy our dinner! He also made recommendations on the menu for our sweetie. I order once a year from Namaste St-Jean. The food is very good, the quantities generous and they are punctual. I find the prices fair. A real pleasure!

Second best Indian resto in Quebec for me. Very cozy. Nice ambiance. Owners are very friendly. The gravy are very rich in Indian flavours. The lamb madrasi is Quite spicy (works for me) and the cheese naan is awesome. Fish pakora (gluten free) is good as well. Service is good. Have parking spots. A little more pricy compared to a Montreal restaurant but it s worth the quality of food.

The portions are generous and the naan bread is huge and tasty. The service is excellent, great politeness and perfect recommendations. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options (curry, lentils, vegetables, etc.). Parking: Parking in front of the business. The entrance is easy to miss from the road coming from the east. We ordered 1 plate samosa and 1 paneer curry with multiple Naan, and the food was okay. 1 of the waiter gave me the bill, which was $52, and I gave $60 cash. I waited for more than 10 mins but never returned. Waiters were smiling and saying bye. I felt really bad as they should have returned my remaing money as courtesy, and I was ready to give them TIP, but 1 waiter thought how I made all of them fool. If you keep behaving like this, then for sure you wont find any more customers. Vegetarian options: Samosa, panee curry, rice and breads

An Indian experience in the USA, some time ago, had left me rather cold. Not lukewarm, fret. Namastes 2-person BB combo just changed everything. Onion bhaji, chicken pakora, butter chicken, beef bhuna, vegetables of the day, rice and naan bread, dessert. Yum! I was able to taste my friends lamb masala. Recommended! That too was excellent. The only downside was that our group of 7 waited a very long time to be served.

Very long service. Kitchen is good nothing more. The sauce for the butter chicken is very good, but the chicken is not simmered in it, so the chicken tastes like chicken not spiced with a sauce. The waiter serves the wine by wiping the bottle with his hand up to the neck instead of using a paper or cloth napkin. Not very hygienic. Very kind staff and pleasant Indian ambient music. Vegetarian options: Paneer dishes.

We are never disappointed. This is our favorite restaurant. We brought several friends there and they were all pleasantly surprised. Dont be influenced by the exterior look of the restaurant. You will fall in love with both the food and the staff.

We ordered butter chicken and okra curry. I specifically asked if possible not to add tomato sauce/puree and chili pepper because my wife cant eat it...he said yes without any problem. When we received the meal, the okra had no tomato sauce but was very VERY spicy. One mouthful was enough to get my wifes heartburn kicking in again. Its truly terrible. Its now been over 16 hours of this mouth and her stomach still hurts. If it is not possible to remove the spices, that is understandable BUT YOU MUST TELL US before taking the order! And it wasnt fully cooked. I had to cook it again. The butter chicken wasnt authentic either. No taste!! Very very disappointing!

This means that its ready to pick up in 40 minutes to finally wait an additional 45 minutes once there, and watch 20 skip dishes delivery men pass in front of you and they wait 15 minutes max, really horrible service, this crazy customer, There were several people waiting for 1 hour at the restaurant and who received the same treatment, never!!! Bombay cuisine in the city center impeccable service!!

Special lunch meal. 4 people. Everything was excellent! The welcome, the service, the presentation. We had 4 different meals, namely tandoori chicken, chicken curry, lamb curry, and shrimp. The price was very affordable, $15., including soup, main course and dessert. Looking forward to going back.

What a beautiful experience, Indian fine cuisine. I usually go to Montreal to eat Indian food, but now I can have here in St-Jean and I must admit it was the finest Indian food I ate in my life. I must come again. The personal is kind and helpful oh I forgot.... The nann bread, totally made there and the tenderness is unreal, must try. He offered to come and see his special oven but I was so overwhelmed with the taste of the meal that I forgot. But next time I will take him on the offer. I highly recommend

Tasty rice, naan bread cooked to perfection and what can we say about the samosas we ordered 3 butter chicken, two rices, a mixed starter with extra samosas and 3 naan bread. There are two of us and we were able to make two meals each with this quantity.

Hands down, the best Indian restaurant that Ive ever tried on the South Shore. Chicken Tikka Masala is a must! And Beef Vindaloo was a bit too spicy for me, but my dad (who loves spicy food) was wowed by it! Ill definitely be back. The naan breads are very big and delicious too. Great job guys! Ill be back soon!
