It's a very beautifull place. The ambiance is really cozy, chill, great for like a date night. The bar has a beautifull display. They have a good choice of drinks and their Amaretto sour was excelent. The decor feels very rustique and the staff was very friendly. Now the downside, the food was okay. I found that it was missing a bit more punch or pizzaz to elevate the flavor of the ingredients they use for the meal. I found the service a bit slow even though we were a group of 12 and the restaurant wasn't at full capacity. Maybe it was one of those days that they weren't at their full potential due to the rush of the holiday season. Which we all know can be really exausting.
Very good food and excellent service. I've had the primavera and the linguini with basil cream. Both were great. Very comfortable surroundings with attentive service.
My wife and I love this place so do many other people so you must reserve take a chance but they turn some people away food is fantastic service is excellent just a relaxed friendly place with a good atmosphere
Was good. Perfect size dishes Small entrées Kindly served Mostly pasta. Which I would have preferred more options, then again it was the second day after restos where allowed to open terasses.
Both food and service was excellent. Went for lunch. Menu choices are varrried and refined. Great place for an Italian lunch.
Had an excellent lunch today on their terrace. The soup was very good, the seafood linguine was excellent and generous with big shrimps and the service was extremely friendly and efficient.
This place is always a favourite to stop and eat in Saint-Jean. The plates are simple but with some complexe flavours and the prices are quite affordable. Their wine selection is decent. The service is professional. The only thing to beware is these occasional big group of people that treat this place like it would be their family kitchem. On that, Viva have understandably no control. Seating is good and it the summer, the terrace is quaint. Highly recommend.
Small portions. I could of ate all the pasta in one bite. They use dried pasta for every dish. Parmesan is left out in open jars everywhere in the restaurant, wouldn't touch it (don't know if it's the real stuff).
Really beautiful restaurant!! A great discovery that I didnt know about even though its been around for 20 years!!! Dietary restrictions: All sauces are Gluten Free!!! I cant believe it yet!!! I even had access to Dessert which was gluten free!! Pasta was awesome!! I had the tagliatelle with brie!!! Sublime!!! I had the Caesar salad as a starter, but thats the disappointing side: its not homemade vinaigrette but rather from the market!! there would be room for improvement on that side!! But everything else was amazing!! I recommend it and I will definitely go back!!!
Several members of our group got food poisoning after eating at this restaurant. When I called to alert them of the situation, the waitress on the phone was unprofessional, responding that she had to go back to serving customers and repeatedly saying I dont know what to tell you. However, I took the trouble to call in good faith, with the intention of simply informing them. I should be the one unhappy with the situation, not the other way around.
I went there to spend the year with my friends. I was 14 at the time. We only wanted to eat a little and when we were finished we all gave about $1-3 worth of tips each but despite that she yelled at us. Im never going there again

The linguine with shredded duck confit with mushroom port sauce is exquisite, as are the Di mare. As a starter their snails are very good. The desserts are also excellent. Always enjoyed my meal every time I went there!

Everything was excellent: service, very courteous staff, the salad, the main meal, the dessert, the coffee, the wine and to top it all off the price was very reasonable. We were 5 adults and we all loved it.

Nous y sommes allés avec nos deux enfants et avons pris place sur la terrasse. Cest bien aménagé, le service est courtois et rapide. Une attention a été portée à lallergie alimentaire de ma fille. Le menu enfants est plus quabordable et comprend 3 services. La bouffe était bonne et les ingrédients de qualité. Une belle soirée en famille!

My favorite bistro in St Jean. Friendly atmosphere in the dining room, very reasonable noise level. And what can we say about the service staff, attentive, courteous and perfectly knowledgeable about the menu. The pasta is sublime as are all the other dishes that are offered. My three favorites: salmon gravlax, ossobucos and spaghetti forestale
