Really disappointed ! I was coming from west Coast knowing the place and was close all the timing they posted! Went over twice for nothing!

The food is very good, however the customer service at lunchtime is very disastrous towards the students of Jd.. The blonde hostess forces us to leave you tip. If we refuse she hides behind to tell its teammate look at the little criss

Unpretentious and reasonably priced Quebecois family cuisine with daily specials. This Thursday it was roast beef, mashed potatoes, carrots and turnips with soup and lemon tart.

This is not a place for crepes which only deserve three stars. They lack vanilla and the taste is bland. The dough after cooking is elastic like gummy Their cost is $12 for 2 pancakes served without fruit, so way too expensive and lacking in toppings. They look like a good pancake, but no taste. I didnt eat them. I told the waitress, she replied that people like them and shes not the one who makes them. However, the breakfast plates with bacon egg, sausages, baked beans and healthy plate are delicious and worth the detour. The portion of creton is disappointing as a tablespoon. The service, you have to be patient, it can be slow.

Wrong menu prices have almost doubled. Please make sure you have the correct information.

Having more than one bout of food poisoning over a long period of time with months between orders is the reason for this low rating.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! They have an ENORMOUS menu, that includes many different styles of poutine, sandwiches, and breakfast foods. They also have an excellent assortment of deserts. I also wanted to mention the sheer size of the poutine they serve! Its incredible. My brother who is a bigger guy struggled with it. I personally tried their special which was roast beef. For 13$ we were given a soup of our choice (either chicken noodle, or carrot. The carrot was excellent) then our main which was mashed potatoes (you could also get french fries), the roast beef, and carrots. It also came with a slice of cake which you could get in caramel, chocolate, or maple. The maple cake was very light and not too sweet! I also wanted to say that the waitress we had was of superior quality! She joked with us, helped us, was patient and kind. Truly one of the best I have ever had, while also being a French speaker! I feel it was important to mention this because we are English only so ordering could have been quite difficult! If you are in around st. Jean I highly recommend!

Small parking lot, narrow from one table to another. On the other hand, friendly waitresses and good service.

We found our experience expensive in the sense that the service was poor, we were waiting at the door and no one was telling us to go choose our seat or looking at us. The food is okay without more, a canteen style with a little more, the meals were generally small and quite expensive for what it was compared to several restaurants that we frequent. It was our first experience, but with the service received there is a strong chance that it will also be the last unfortunately. Service often makes the difference between trying again or not.

Last time we ordered there, very simple order, steamed hot dog, poutine....my partner has a big moldy spot on his hot dog bun, poorly cooked fries....really a shame because the food is usually there very good.

NIC ET PIC is an institution in St Jean, it is renowned for its good service and the courtesy of the people who work there. You directly attack this person without knowing the day they had and you treat them as stupid without smiling. If you had not been a person with a feeling of inferiority you would have written your name rather than typing random letters, if so I believe more that this waitress intimidated you with her beauty and you saw the inaccessibility and you you preferred to belittle her because you are probably terrible in your own life. Next time if you want impeccable service, stop treating people in the restaurant industry as inferior people and give their due because we know very well that you would not go behind a counter to manage people from your caliber on a daily basis so respect is a must and this person be til passing on the most beautiful smile on a daily basis than anyone in customer service...on this a good day to you and try to love you in a mirror...

Big menu with so many options to choose from. All day breakfast and I love breakfast for dinner. Old school greasy spoon that keeps going and going. Prices are pretty decent too compared to what you get and what other places are charging for the same thing. Bring your appetite , you wont be deceived.

Near my house. A restaurant and a bar. An extraordinary, unpretentious character. The waitresses are brilliant (even friendlier). Fun for lonely people. A little disappointed with the service which was not up to par. Firstly, it was very long compared to the service. We waited a very long time before the waitress came to us, so that in the end it was quite cold. I understand that there are less good days, but this was not my only experience of this type and I find that unfortunate. On the other hand, the poutines are very good, I highly recommend them as take outs.

Prix super abordable, vraiment très peu cher, 10$ pour une poutine « moyenne » mais qui pourrait faire pour deux petits appétits. Les gens qui y travaillent sont super gentils, la madame qui y travaille le vendredi et samedi soir est super sympathique même quand on est arrivé 15 minutes avant la fermeture. Service rapide, nourriture chaude, je recommande.

It was the restaurant of my youth (Im 57) we left the nightclubs at 3-4 a.m. to go eat a good poutine at Nic et Pic. The waitresses were all very nice. The food well it s still fast food, there s no haute cuisine here! I call it comfort food The look of the restaurant has changed a lot over the years but the experience remains essentially the same as in time!
