I love the restaurant, but very disappointed for the price. General Tao is $22. I have it with sautéed chicken and not breaded. The server tells me there is an overload, I tell him OK. $8 per surcharge, I told him its very intense. Well that s how it is. So, Im not going back there anymore, too bad for them. No credit for the breaded chicken. Phew!!. Too bad I loved this restaurant.

We were a group of around fifteen people and it was the 18th birthday of one of them, although I am not a fan of their cooking (recipe a bit generic for my taste, which can be found anywhere else) Thomas our waiter knew how to make our visit unforgettable, everyone invited was well served, we drank very well and ate well! He knew how to put everyone at ease and demonstrated extraordinary professionalism, no errors in the service and invoicing (something which is often complex with my family hahahhaa) So I am now a little more inclined to go back despite my bad experiences before (2019)! A huge thank you to our waitress Joanie R. for her excellent service last night at the Shaker party in St-Jérôme! With a group of 25 people, Joanie was able to be present, attentive and really efficient. She helped us with all the little details for our friend Julies party, which greatly contributed to the success of the evening. His patience, his listening skills and his ease made all the difference. Small drawback to mention to help improve the experience: towards the end, when paying the invoices, managing payments for such a large group with a single machine took a little longer. Perhaps an extra person to help at that time could make management even smoother in the future. Otherwise, as always, the atmosphere was great, with a DJ who knew how to make us dance and put the perfect finishing touch on our evening. It is a pleasure to return to this establishment where we always feel welcome. Another big thank you to Joanie for her professionalism and dedication. You are a real asset to the team! The Shaker in Saint-Jérôme is absolutely incredible! From the trendy ambiance to the delicious menu, every visit is an exceptional experience. What really stands out is the service, especially that of Noémie. She is attentive, smiling, and always makes sure that everything is perfect. A must for a drink in downtown Saint-Jérôme. The strong points, the drinks... live up to its name. The starters are also perfect. +1 for the beef carpaccio and tartares. Unfortunately, the strip steak which was delicious is no longer on the menu. Last time, I opted for the BIG BOSS Burger, two beef patties and the quality was not there. Very dry, no taste and no fat for flavor... surprising for Sterling Silver beef which is normally of mid-range quality. The fries remind me of frozen cavendish. By all accounts, the presentation, service and ambiance were all A1.

A large part of the clientele was very young. Place to party. We received free small shots from the Shaker. No filet mignon available even if present on the menu. DJ was there. Very small toilets to be desired. Young lady vomited in the parking lot while leaving at 11 p.m. Beautiful decoration, everyone gets up around 10:30 p.m. to dance between the tables.

Ok for retirees party

We arrived early and were put at a table so a plus. A waiter with a half-shaven head/blue eyes, very nice. We ate well, but I think the service speaks even more. The negative points are the music too loud and the chairs impossible to push/sit like a decent person. My original poutine and bueger is good, but nothing more. We had to have a shot that wasnt too strong, which was to my tastes. In general, I recommend!

Quite disappointed with my last visit. Ive been to this Shaker many times, but my last visit meant I probably wont return again. The evening I went there, I was with friends; we went out around one in the morning; It was cold so I wore a big coat and held it closed around myself. We said goodbye to the bouncer and as soon as we headed out she followed us and asked me to open my coat saying I had stolen something. I opened my coat to prove to him that I had nothing and that I was just cold. I had never been accused of stealing before and I was really disappointed by the bouncers behavior that evening. Very disappointing.

I recently dined at Shaker and had a pleasant experience overall. The atmosphere was great, creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining environment. The food was delicious, made with fresh ingredients that added to the taste and quality of each dish. However, I found the service to be just okay. While the staff was friendly, there was a minor issue with my order. I had given specific instructions, but unfortunately, they were not followed. Nonetheless, the staff promptly corrected the mistake and provided me with the correct dish. Despite this small hiccup, I still had a positive dining experience and would consider returning in the future.
