Victim of shrinkflation. Portions are tiny, even when you add several extras. It used to be that I would eat it for lunch and finish my huge bowl during my break. Now to feel full I need to order extra noodles, extra vegetables and a side dish. Even then the sizes are different each time we order, sometimes with all of that I am left hungry due to the small size. Bad quality control or employee training. Sorry but I will be avoiding this place now. Noodles are street food, they are supposed to be big filling portions on the cheap. That's no longer what Thai Express offers.
The place was clean and the staff very nice. The only thing was the snow was not cleared on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. I was with an elderly person and it was difficult for that person to walk into the restaurant. Hence the 4 stars.
Very well run. Customer service excellent. Gave an extra eggroll because we had to wait for it.
My green curry chicken did not have any eggplant in it 😞 They also never asked us how spicy we wanted our food to be.
Ordered Uber Eats from this place and it was a disaster. There was no cauliflower in my cauliflower bowl. The imperial rolls were so cold they seemed fresh out of a fridge and not cooked. The $6 tea I ordered was replaced with a Brisk. I tried to get a refund but both Uber Eats and the restaurant but both refused to make any restitution so honestly... screw this terrible restaurant and the people who run it.
Very very kind owner and staff. I places my order (which was a complicated one as I have many dietary restrictions) and the order was incorrect because the staff didn't understand me because of the masks and I speak English. I can back and asked for a replacement and they kindly replaced everything for me. The food great and this restaurant accomodates someone on a ketogenic diet. Its diabetic friendly and there is vegan options. I highly recommend !
Honestly I don’t even know what to say about this place anymore. My orders are ALWAYS wrong. I paid for extras multiple times and they didn’t even give them to me. Also, I ordered the salad once and it looked a beef stir fry. Very disappointing, and when I look at the other reviews, I can see I’m not the only one who’s had a bad experience. I think this was the last time I ordered from there.
This is the worst place, not only did they get our order wrong on 2 occasions out of the 3 times we’ve ordered, the red headed cashier girl was so rude and snapped at us. The only time we called into correct the order and the front girl was so rude to us and gave us the dirtiest look when we tried to explain how we’ve gotten the wrong order 2 times. We spoke calmly when she gave the worst dirty look. Don’t order from here if you want to eat what you’ve ordered and get attitude for it when we try to go in to correct. Hire better people with customer service experience if you want returning customers.

I ordered a pad thai tofu and my blond pad thai shrimp.... drowned in sauce and no vegetables really ordinary probably the worst pad thai I ate.... last time I came to eat here.. .
There were 2 of us, and we had 1 Thai chicken soup. The portion was huge it was fresh clean and delicious.

If I could have honestly given the rating 0 it took a plate of Pad Thai for a minute to make the meal from the stove for sure. the atmosphere was very noisy, our two plates were pad thai, the rice was very mushy, the meatballs were passable. We also had a soup. My partner had chicken. The chicken was not edible and me. I took shrimp the shell was still on the shrimp I dont recommend this restaurant at all. Sorry but it was seriously inedible.

I ordered the famous pad thai. Excellent, the box well filled. I also ordered a cheese and chocolate cake... Disappointment with the quantity/price! $6.80 for a small box containing the Cheesecake which can be eaten in 4 bites... A total of $27.80 including a fountain drink for one person.
The worst Thai you can eat. I tested it several times and the results are the same. They are extremely cheap on vegetables, 10 to 15% of the normal portion of vegetables and it depends if you have them because sometimes they dont include them. My last meal tasted nothing, I already had beef that tasted rotten. Honestly gone your way.

I have ordered from this Thai express several times in recent months and each time without exception, there were errors in my order. Today I had almost $10 worth of items missing. It was the last time I ate at this Thai express.
Every time I take double vegetables and put them in the month possible, very disappointed in the portions for time I pay double portions of vegetables and dont put them in, dont go to the Carrefour du Nord, you will be well served with the vegetable portions!

Good service and fast, easy to access but Thaï Express does not have the freshness of a Thaï Zone. The other thing that bothers me is the incredibly high price for what it is, ESPECIALLY if you deliver with DoorDash, the prices are inflated and you can quickly end up with a $20 difference for 2-3 people. When I talk about price... $16 before tax for only 1 box of General Thai, shoveled with rice, with some vegetables (peppers, onions, tomatoes, 3-4 small triangles of pineapple and pieces of frozen fried chicken but which are not fried a second time, so the pieces are just soft, unlike the Thai Zone where it is crispy and fresher.
Quick and as expected orders. Food is always good and taste is consistent. Parking: Around 20 parking spots in front and on the side of the building Wheelchair accessibility: With help someone is wheelchair can enter the restaurant. But there is no ramp, so people alone wont be able to get inside unfortunately.
Really very unfriendly cook. I received my pad thai without any vegetables. Because I asked for my chicken on the side. I saw him deliberately not put the vegetables....frankly I dont recommend this place.

Pour vrai , jallais là assez souvent , et là je demande des dumplings à la vapeurs au arachides et ses zéro cuit . La pâte na pas été cuit . La viandes non plus . Du poulet CRU !!!!!! Jai essayer de les appeler , aucune réponses, aucun retour dappel. Cest décevant et vraiment un manque de compétences pour laisser partir une commande pas cuites
Very disappointed with the restaurant! I ordered a general Thai without tomatoes or pineapple and extra sauce and fried rice, I received my order at home I realize that there are pineapple and tomatoes but also there are no extras. Ive been trying to call for 20 minutes non-stop, no answer. This is why I strongly advise against this Thai express

Always missing items when ordering
On 2021/11/12 around 1:00 p.m., I went to the branch at 481 Boul. Labelle in St-Jérôme. The cashier walked around with a mask under her mouth and even talked to the cooks walking over the food. When I pointed out to her that her wearing a mask did not comply with health measures, she replied that she had been working like this for 5 months and that she had never been warned. She even claimed to have served police officers without comment from them.

Up to par for a Thaï Express and prefer it to Thaï Zone. The cooks are particularly nice.
The food is standard but its fresh! So its good for a big food chain. On the other hand, the restaurant is poorly ventilated, the air conditioning does not work at all. And no outside table to compensate for the fact that the air conditioning is non-functional. We would die of heat in the restaurant! So go there for the food but if its hot, I dont recommend eating there!
The employees are friendly and the service is fast. The only problem is that when I order via an app, they sometimes forget a roll or a sauce. Otherwise, I like going there.

Very long delivery service, like 45 min-1 hour each time. The food is always very good, very fresh, but there is really a problem with the spring rolls. Just out of their packaging, they definitely split in two along their entire length. Really unfortunate. Maybe doubling the thickness of rice paper would be a solution.
Thai Express is not what it used to be. The food quality is ok, but dont expect your food to surprise you. You could go somewhere else if youre really craving Thai food... And it wont be express at all...
