The pesto chicken flat bread made my wife throw up when we got home. My Reuben was fine though nothing to write home about. They were sold out of the drink I wanted so I had to settle for another (not a huge deal but worth mentioning). The server was nice and the atmosphere was chill. Clean bathrooms. Im sure its not usually that bad, but something was definitely wrong with that flatbread.

Special shout out to staff!!! Myself and friends are from Ontario in town for a wedding. Randomly chose to eat here. Food was an amazing and staff very attentive, polite and had our group in stitches laughing. Highly recommend Lock Stock and Barrels. Thank you for the great dinner!!!

Visiting from Ontario and decided to check out this awesome place for dinner! So happy we did!! There were 6 of us and we all loved our meals and Mel and Geoff (with a G) were absolutely amazing and hilarious!! We had such a great time, amazing service and delicious meals! Highly recommend

I went into the restaurant with some co workers, after the waitress who I believe her name was Mal was asked if they provided halal chicken she said she did not know what that was and started mocking and making fun of it. She went and did some research and came back saying she knew what that was and understood that it is a religious accommodation for meat, yet, she still made fun of it after. I later asked for a straw, then she proceeded to ask me if paper straws were halal, and later tell me how she will be reading her prayers when bringing it to me and laughed. Then, on my way out after we paid for the food, she says something along the lines that she will make sure she lets the management know about the halalololo thing and proceeds to mock it and make fun of it again. This was very racist, islamophobic, and disrespectful. I will not be going back to that restaurant after that incident, I was treated in a very poor and racist manner and this was not okay.

Our table was cleant before my wife finished her food, and the debit machine was put on the table before we wanted to pay.

There was 6 of us . no reservation . they were nice enough to let us in for dinner. We all enjoyed the food

Food is overpriced and not good. I would compare the quality to cheap bar food but at triple the price. Weird building with a barrier at the door making it feel like a dispensary.

Great food great service

This was our first time at the location and it was your typical (delicious) pub food and atmosphere, but it was the service that will bring us back. When we were leaving I asked our friends if they grew up with our server but no, Melissa is just that personable!!! Not only was she tons of fun, but she went above and beyond when we had a time crunch and made it happen. With all the talk about tipping these days, she is a prime example of someone who deserves it.

A lovely experience for sure. We sat at the long table at the back and with all my joint issues tables are challenging, most comfortable table ever! They customized my philly cheesesteak to my liking with no issue and was delicious. Service was excellent! Atmosphere as well! Hubby had the fish n chips and was very pleased. For a place that we never heard about before, we were very happy with the quality and price of the food here. The staff was friendly and the fish that I had was light and flakey, along side some really yummy fries. This would be a place I would recommend and also plan on going back to in the near future.

I love this place and the people who work there and run it. The food is fun and incentive, not the same ole, but its also not super expensive or pretentious. Its always a nice experience and I will always come back.

While the food at this place is quite consistently good, their atmosphere and the overall setup of the restaurant is just kind of strange. When you enter you re greeted with a banner/ribbon barrier that an employee must open before you enter, sort of like you d see outside the door of an exclusive night club. This is particularly awkward when you re trying to leave as it blocks the door completely. As well, many of the chairs are quite uncomfortable and arranged with the tables in such a way that at some you can t get your legs under the table comfortably but have to instead straddle a table leg or take some other kind of awkward position. The tables are overall too close together as well and I found it resulted in constantly feeling like you re staring at other people or their food for lack of anywhere else to look. Burgers are great. Everything they make is decent at worst. I suppose that makes up for the oddities elsewhere for their regulars, of which there appears to be many.

Good food, have had pretty much every item on the menu. Noisy environment when full and can sometimes be hard to get a seat.

Fast service after a day of hiking! Would recommend and the food was delicious.

The prime rib melt was not described on the MENU that It was a Sandwich. The meat was hard not edible and the baked potato very dry. Hope you rewriting clearly the menu. And rather expensive for what was offered Food

We both ordered the reubens, there was so little meat you could barely taste it, the fries were very good.

Each portion big enough for two people, and absolutely delicious to boot. Friendly, attentive service, and a wide selection of regional beers on tap. Highly recommended!

Decent bar food. Had the Philly cheese steak. It was pretty good but they use a hot dog bun for the bun and I wished they used a proper bun for the Philly cheese. The fries werent the best. Definitely needed to be seasoned. The Thai chicken wrap was good though.

Went as a large group on a Saturday night. Was able to get seated together, served drinks and food quite quickly. Unfortunately I got the dud of a meal of the night. A hot turkey sandwich with only one slice of bread (??) (on a $16 sandwhich) and maybe half covered in turkey. And the mashed potatoes might as well of been flour and water. Tasted like glue, were definitely old instant potatoes, and had hard crispy sides like just scraped from the pot. Not enjoyable for a first time experience when Ive been told by every person I was with that everything on the menu is delicious.

Ordered smash burger platter , no veggies with it , just 2 scoops of mashed , told the waiter what I wanted on burger and said oh I almost forgot can you put a little mayo on the burger please , he proceeds to tell me its $1.75 + tax for mayo so for what I ordered it was $ 19.99 + tax for basically just the burger without a little mayo , pretty stupid but JMO Needless to say for that little bit of mayo that there were going to charge me for , I will never go there again .

The food was great and there was a good variety to choose from. We both had a burger called the Lockstock burger I believe( fried egg on it) and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and very easy to carry on a conversation with. Then came dessert...Be prepared because you are going to want dessert here. Multiple types of cheesecake and a variety of other desserts. I had Churros (you get a huge serving) and my wife had deep fried cheesecake (also looked incredible). We would definitely return for the food and the hospitality. Thank you Lock Stock and Barrels!

Quick service. Very clean premises. Friendly service. All of these things are true. Had the ribeye steak special @ $24 ordered medium rare however, arrived closer to medium well with a noted amount of fat and gristle. The other item was a prime rib melt and fried pepperoni as an app. 1 beer and water + tip = $91. Candidly and respectfully, not worth it. Might try again at some point.

Took my two sons out for my birthday lunch and since we are new to SJ I tried a restaurant that had positive reviews on a Facebook group. Lock Stock and Barrels did not disappoint. We each had a different item off of the menu, me the chicken sandwich. Everything was great, the staff very pleasant, and had a welcoming environment. Lots to choose from and the prices fair. We will definitely be going back

We had a great meal while visiting Saint John. The staff at LS&B were attentive and friendly. I enjoyed the clubhouse with guacamole, my wife had salad with chicken. Fries were hot and delicious while portions were generous. Good craft beer and reasonable pricing added to the overall experience. Cheers Parking: Adjacent to strip mall with plenty of free parking.

Edit: Years later the service and food quality are still top notch. What a nice place! Having been a patron of the former restaurant I didnt have high hopes. When I walked in and saw what they had done with the place I quickly changed my tune. The atmosphere is incredible and the food is tasty. The menu offered a modern take on pub food and everything we had was incredible. This place has very quickly made it to my list of restaurants to visit when Im in Saint John.

What a fantastic pub environment. Fantastic fish and chips. The server was great. Very attentive and quick service. Friendly and personable. If you are looking for a great meal with the best in service, look no further. I cannot more strongly recommend an establishment. The deserts were top notch and coffee was excellent. I understand they have a great number of beers on tap as well. Will be returning as a place like this is a gem to be cherished.

I have been to this restaurant on many occasions and really enjoy the food. It has a standard menu for this type of restaurant. Burgers, wraps, sandwiches, steaks, breakfast, etc... The service is amazing as the owners actually take care of you. My wife has had some minor issues with some items (gravy, potatoes) but my experience has been nothing but stellar. I would certainly recommend this place for a meal or just a drink if you so chose.

This is becoming a go to place when we are in Saint John! Amazing staff, the food is incredible,(highly recommend the two piece beer battered fish and chips). Nothing negative to say about this restaurant:)!! First visit of 2021 for our fav beer battered fish and chips! Still has great service, great food, and my wife and I feel very safe eating there as staff follow Covid protocols to a T.

Overall good experience. Prices were good, food was good, with the exception of the fries, they could have been cooked a lot longer.... but honestly a pretty alright time out with my friends! Didnt catch my servers name but the guy working the closing shift on Sunday March 7, 2021 was good. He was attentive, prompt and even tho he made us aware of the closing time he did so in a way I was feeling rushed. I took a star away simply because as a server currently and a vast hospitality background I do become very attentive of certain things. Ie: plating of dishes, how food is served, cleanliness, etc... But back to the original statement, overall good experience

Decent local pub. Wings are good but would be nice if they were the larger size. Miss the liver and onions and a more expanded menu but that may be due to Covid. Staff is always super friendly to myself anyways. I have heard from some service is slow but again most likely covid related as I have always had excellent service myself. We must all be a bit understanding.

It was the perfect spot to celebrate an early Fathers Day ( and late Mothers Day LOL) with my son. The food was delicious, the beer was fresh & crisp, and our server was very friendly and chatty. I had no room for dessert after my BBQ ribs which were, indeed , fall off the bones as described by the waiter and delicious . Hubby enjoyed his Fish and Chips and my son gave his Chicken Caesar Wrap a rave review. I would highly recommend this place for friend and family gatherings.

Went here awhile ago to celebrate with my family. - Service was terrible. - Food took over an hour to get to our table. - There was cleaning supplies left at the table when we sat down. - Went for the bill and just chalked it up to a covid rush but then waited 40 minutes to pay my bill. If i wasnt with family i wouldve walked out without paying. My family member went and provided feedback elsewhere and they offered to make it right but then ghosted her. TLDR: Go to subway, youll have a better evening across the car park.

Really great food and friendly service. Specials are always good. The dinning room is a little cramped though.

My wife and I came here for supper and it was really good! The patty is definitely hand made and juicy. We also did the 4 apps for 10$ and we decided it wasn t worth it, the portion of the apps was tiny. Wait staff was responsive and the TVs were on but not blaring sound. Only downside is that they don t do fountain pop - just cans.

At one time all workers meet there on payday. I feel the new look isnt attractive surroundings dont get the regularly customers. I was there with a friend last week.We had a drink and ordered onion rings.they were still raw.I answered after. That this was always cooked that way.They did suggest re order.I dont think so.Nor to mention several friends will not return. I ts very sad.

Just left from my 3rd visit here. Each time the food was absolutely delicious and the service was great! Plenty on the menu to choose from, especially for someone like me where the only meat I eat is chicken. Great atmosphere, large portions, nothing but positive feedback!

Excellent food!! Could definitely improve on the service. The server told us that we didnt need a slice of lemon in our water even though we asked for lemon? We didnt receive the lemon! And took 45 minutes for the bill.
