We ordered steak . It was impossible to eat. The ribs were ok. The service was the possitive thing.

Great food. Great atmosphere, friendly staff! Quick service when we where there.

The baked potato was undercooked. The steak was underseasoned.

I asked for a smoothie and the waitress told me they dont have smoothies and they never carried them. The menus blatantly show fruit smoothies in an assorted variety. Chefs did a great job with food.

If I could give this place zero stars then I would. Over a hour to get our app and it was cold and disgusting. What a way to waste a Saturday evening.

We reserved seating for 19 people but ended up with 3 sitting by themselves. We waited a fair time for the server before we even got to order drinks. 15 minutes later we got drinks. Over an hour layer her returned to take the order. Then we waited over another hour for the food. It was a birthday get-together for a10 year old. They got impatient and couldnt keep occupied. Finally the food came 1 plate at a time And it wasnt hot. I had the malldst stir fry ive ever had and even the rice was stick together. We waited anogher half hour for bills and go pick them up. We arrived 5:15 and left 9:45. Pathetic.

More chicken in 2 McNuggets than on the chicken nachos

Perfect steak at a good price. Sadly, it seems 2024 ended the Wednesday wing night deal. Not only is it not unlimited, you must keep ordering drinks, no refills and all items that were included as unlimited are now just 50% off regular price. So it is still a deal, but not even close to the deal it used to be. Its a sad end to what was a real people pleaser. We watched 4 groups come in, get the menu and walk right back out the door.

Great place all together. Eating, services, staff, All poliet and amazing services from staff to customer! I wouldnt hesitate to dine in or take out there again it was pheonomenal and lovely place to eat and socialize with friends and family i highly recommand and strongly advise locals and outta town individuals to not knock it before you try it! dine in or take out foods is also amazingly fresh and great foods to consume and for the whole family to enjoy as well! It also a great working enviroment as well!! You must try it!!

Everything was pretty good, I went with my Dad, and got ribs, coleslaw, onion rings, side of gravy and ice tea, he got French onion soup and wings. Gravy wasnt that great. We went at supper on a Monday. Service was awesome. Went again tonight and it was great service, great food and portion sized, and well priced!

After eating at this restaurant 7 times in the past and always having been very satisfied, last night I ran into a disaster with a horrible meal and very poor service. Misleading advertising on the menu for their all you can eat wing night with side orders included. I got 7 miniscule overcooked wings --90% bones, and a handful of fries that appeared to have been sitting around all day. I asked the server for napkins when I ordered. They never came. ALL the servers vanished...literally disappeared...for close to half an hour at one point. Very, very disappointing. Exactly how restaurants lose loyal customers. The icing on the cake...suggested tips starting at 18%! Goodbye Jim. I wont be back.

I got really bad food posing almost instantly after having a steak dinner at Jungle Jims leaves one to wonder how the meat is being handled.

We sat down for dinner, there was mice running across the floor , my daughters burger bun came with clumpy gravy all over it (we didn t order gravy). So disappointed

Great food good service

This is the first time I was disappointed with the food. I had the steak tacos and the meat was so tough I had take it out and cut it into little bits in order to chew it. You couldnt bite through it. Never had a bad meal before and weve been there many times.

It was my first visit to Jungle Jims and overall it was a disappointment. We waited quite a while at the door, where a sign said wait to be seated, while it wasnt very busy at all. Had the two peices of Fish and Chips. The Cole Slaw was good, but the fish or Cod was not fresh. Good kids meal and meals. The waitress did a good job in serving us. They had no wifi for the customers and that was a great disappointment, and I suggest to a waitress that it was such a good marketing strategy not to have wifi.

Nice bar/restaurant for the West Side. Always great and quick service. Really enjoy coming here!

Enjoyable

I was travelling from Toronto and came across this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and paid special attention to hygiene. The food was delicious especially the ribs and cinnamon caramel apple chimmies. Great place for family and friends. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.

We ordered the Wednesday night all you can eat special which is only for one person and also another dish. the particular staff assigned to us who was an Indian was very rude in the way he spoke to us. We just asked asked if we could share a few of what I ordered which technically only for one but we did order another dish separately as well, but he replied very rudely there are cameras we are watching you, you cannot share, that put us off. Im paying 30$ plus tax bill who are they to tell me I cannot share even a small portion. All other staff are great I have been there before and had a great experience but this time its wasnt a pleasant one.

Walked in for take out and got the linguine Alfredo with a side Ceasar salad. It was ready really fast (430pm on a Sat) and was a big amount of food for the price. Less than $21. I wouldve liked more garlic in the sauce but I love garlic. The server that met and took my order was Jordan and she was fantastic. Will be coming back.

Ok, wrote a note to corporate 2 weeks ago and no response. DO NOT GO , mice in the dining area,2 were seen, .spoke to the waiter, no concern, said yup we know and we have a mouse problem in the basement and have someone come in 3 days a week. If you see mice in the dining area with people around what about in kitchen and storage area. terrible.....

Best service Ive had at a restaurant in awhile. When we sat down at the bar, our Waiter Uday got our drink order almost immediately and then once our drinks arrived got our food order into the kitchen. The bathroom sink was a great appetizer For our mains we got the chicken wings and chicken linguini carbonara. The wings were great but the carbonara wasnt up to par. The waiter took it back to the kitchen and offered me a free replacement item at no cost and no hassle. Its never nice to get food that you dont like, however they handled it so well I cant help but give 5 stars regardless. The superbowl drinks and the great appetizer combined with first class service make up for the bad dish and I would absolutely not hesitate to visit this location again! Thanks again Uday for the 5 star service

My son loves the atmosphere (loved the uptown one more) food was ok what we ordered arrived hot, in a timely matter. The waitress was hardly there came to drop off food and didnt see her again until I flagged her down for the cheque. son wanted a coin op toy put in his money nothing came out waitress shrugged and said oh thats been out of order for weeks, the guy comes like once a month with no sign stating that-i had a very disappointed kid. Me and my spouse and son came here tonight, we were seated then no one came back to the table with menus until another waitress noticed us 20 minutes later and said sorry we ve been trying to figure out who has your table but I guess they didn t want to take it. After we ordered we waited 50 minutes to get our food, our food came out cold and soggy, we brought it to our waitresses attention , she did take our drink off the bill but we still paid over $50 for 2 meals that were not fit to eat. Would not recommend this place!

Very good restaurant!

My wife and I ordered Rhino Ribs - half rack ($23.99). The orders came on a large platter. The half racks were bigger than any full rack that we have had. The ribs were accompanied by baked potatoes and a large portion of cold slaw. The flavor was fantastic. The amount of neat on the ribs was amazing. There were few bones and non-meat material. I am not sure how we ate it all, but we did. Seems that we had to go from London, Ontario to Saint John, New Brunswick for the best ribs we have ever eaten. The Maritimes have always been known for their seafood. Push that lobster roll to the side - it has been replaced by phenomenal ribs.

This is a pleasant and clean restaurant. The service was wonderful, The food was hot and tasted good. Our server was pleasant and informative on foods. No mixup on our meals. There were a few things that could be improved or unpleasant. The music was a tad on the loud side. Making it a bit difficult to have a conversation. Perhaps not have the volume up so loud. There is a wait time to be seated at times. Especially on wing night. But thats to be expected. The walkway was very sandy and the ground slanted. Making it difficult and safely enter the restaurant. It could cause injuries to happen. (I currently use a knee scooter to get around. I almost tipped over on the scooter due to the sand and small rocks all over the walkway.)

Went here last night and the food was absolutely disgusting. ordered chicken tikitos and as soon as they came out I knew something was wrong with them by the way the chicken was brown and fatty, tasted more like turkey. I asked the waiter if that was chicken and she said yes... when my food came out my fires were cold and under cooked and my burger bun was soggy and mushey and burnt to a chrisp... the waiter did not come and fill up our waters not once. She also charged us for 2 large pop when everyone at the table got water and then when I addressed this to her she proceeded to look around the table as if I was lying... I gave a 2 dollar tip and will never be returning it was soo nasty.

Came for lunch today, Sept 30th. with my husband and two grandchildren Jenna was our server. She was very pleasant and got our drinks right away. We ordered off the lunch menu, I was recommended the new chipotle panini and i was not disappointed!! My husband had the fish and chips which he also enjoyed. Only $55 for the four of us to have lunch! Will definitely be coming back and asking for Jenna as our server. Kid-friendliness: They had a fish tank and lots of cool decorations for the kids to look at !

This place doesnt even deserve one star. They placed all the customers on one side of the restaurant where the staff then proceeded to hide behind the bar and talk while everyone waited. We waited forever to get our food and when we got our food, it was disgusting. I would recommend this place if you need to use the washroom. This place will leave you stuck to the toilet.

This was our first time at Jungle Jims. We had a party of 7, 4 adults 3 children. Food was good but our server was exceptional. I wish I got his name but he provided the best customer service Ive received in a long time. Well definitely be going back.

Had a lovely experience at Jungle Jims this evening with my family. The young man serving us was AMAZING! He let us know his family had just taken over as new owners and they couldnt have been more accommodating. Highly recommend 10/10.

Love this place and they just keep getting better as time goes on. They dont have McDonalds pricing, you will pay a fair price for your meal but the quality makes it worth it.

Food flavor was all great, however saying it was even warm would be kind, and the only way service could have been worse would have been if our waiter was intentionally being bad at his job. Was in on wing night that the place was at best 1/3 filled and only ordered 3 apps and it took nearly an hour to get our food, and besides to drop off the food we never seen our waiter will we flagged him down to get the bill, and never had the opportunity to order anything else.

The food temperature was excellent, the service was excellent and the floor was very clean. I was very impressed with this place and my family and I will definitely be back.

We came for the novelty of the Kitchen Sink so our kids could get a laugh! Wasnt expecting good food or necessarily service in a typical place like this but it in fact exceeded. Our male server was friendly, quick and attentive. Drinks (alcoholic and not) and water were ice cold! Kids enjoyed the kids menu (with sour gummy drink) and also the Oreos at the end :)

This was my first at Jungle Jim s. It was just an amazing experience even amidst this Covid times. Food was superb totally worth it. Ambience was so cool loved it. But the most amazing part that made all this special, cherry on the cake was Jordan s service. She was just amazing at what she does. Too care of us and the orders so professionally yet in a friendly manner. I really felt home :) Gold star to Jordan!!! :) :) She is best as what she does. Definitely gonna re-visit

We came for our daughters birthday, she loves the place. My wife and I on the other hand just arent fans of the food. However, the atmosphere is fun. Its just not the place for us.

Service was absolutely terrible tonight at jungle Jim s which isn t usual for this location. Waitress served cold wings and and half a container of bbq sauce. I was ignored by the waitress and not even asked what I d like to drink, had to flag her down to let her know she forgot to do her job. Not friendly and not very helpful either, left lots of mess on the table. If I could of cleared the table and brought my own dishes back I would of. She definitely ruined my experience here tonight and I m not sure if I ll be returning. Waitresses should be properly trained on how to serve.

They do have a dedicated gluten free menu, which is nice. The adult meals are fine, everything was as expected. Do not recommend getting the kids hamburger - it was super thin and my kid said gross . They did replace it with the chicken strips which were eaten right up! He also really liked the jungle juice!

Took about 15 mins for someone to even acknowledge people were at the door. My steak was cold when I got it still tried eating it but couldn t server took it back to heat it up and it was still cold. Spent an hr and a half and most of it was waiting. Customer service was not great either

Very disappointed stopped in at 5:30 on a Wednesday lots of empty seats but was told staff needed a break so we would have to wait( hostess didn t know how long) asked if we could wait at the bar but was refused because it wouldn t be fair to other patrons??? Only 2 in our party. Bizarre

We were extremely happy with jungle jims, its our anniversary today and we decided to go for an early dinner close to our hotel . Jungle Jims turned out to be a great choice. Our server UD was extremely polite and helpful and attentive. Our dinner was also very good, our server did everything he could to accommodate my food allergies and this included removing items from the entrée that I could not have plus my desert was also fixed according to allergies. He recommended a desert for my husband and as it turns out ,my husband said it was to die for. Our server was nice to talk with also. UD, thanks for the enjoyable dinner we will be back again before heading home Rick and Beth Glidden London Ontario

Our waiter was absolutely amazing. So sweet and generous gave amazing recommendations. My daughter spilled her apple juice and he was so quick to help out with extra napkins and stayed happy and positive. I will definitely be back next time in saint john ! I got the chicken quesadilla - which were a bit more spicy then I thought they would be and a side Ceasar salad - which I would have liked with a bit more sauce but it was still great ! And my daughter got the monkey fingers with curly fries. The service was phenomenal though and the reason I would come back ! I did have 2 others on my party - and they enjoyed their food as well and recommended the place to me !

Family celebration was very well accommodated and the service and food were both good. You don t expect amazing memorable food and service at a chain family restaurant, but for this class of restaurant you can t go wrong when both kids and adults were happy with the experience. I had the ribs and was pleasantly surprised that they were very good. My only disappointment was that my combo of half Rick of ribs with 4 jumbo shrimp came with 4 shrimp that while tasty were not Jumbo and not really worth with the extra cost. The kids menu is good value.

Service was excellent. She checked in often (a few times too many but they were not busy so I assume that is why) and we had our food in no time. The food was okay. No complaints but didnt wow me like it used to. Ordered the fajitas with chicken and the portions were right on, though it would have been nice if the tortillas were still wrapped in foil to keep them warm rather than paper. Overall the visit was nice. Food and service were quick. Wait staff were attentive and nice. Definitely will be swinging on in again sometime.

I havent been to Jungle Jims in a long time, but can say I was disappointed. We went with our two kids under the age of 4, so we figured the kitchen sink was a great option. I ordered a drink and asked for water as well, thank God I did, because at no point were we asked if we needed refills. When we ordered our waitress responded with, really, thats it, ok, and sounded unimpressed with our choice. We then had an extended wait, and when our meal did arrive we were left without plates or utensils. Another waitress was kind enough to get our plates, I had to go to the bar for our utensils. There was an item missing from our order as well. We live on the opposite side of town, so this was supposed to be a treat. I dont think well bother next time we go out for a family meal.

Chipotle chicken tacos didn t even have the chipotle sauce on them. No one came to check on us once while eating. One person in the group got significantly less fries than everybody else. New owners ruined a nice place we use to love going to.

Very disappointing. Ordered kitchen sink, got bathroom sink, that was sitting for awhile as it was room temperature. Waitress told us she would bring the rest. Ordered pasta dishes, the one I wanted they couldnt do, so ordered something else and it came out luke warm with raw meat. Hubby and daughter ordered dessert, after 15 minutes she comes back to say they didnt have that, so we told them never mind. Waited another 15 minutes... she came back and said it was no charge for the meal, with the appetizers. Very disappointed, and still starving!

We had 9 in our group. Intead of setting us at 2 tables they crammed us all in 1. This made for no comfort at all . barely enough room for everyones meals . 2 in the group didnt eat their burgers because the patties were burnt on the outside and pink on the inside. chicken fettichini was bland (no taste, cant go wrong by adding some spices to give it flavor!). noodles were over cooked. Staff were great!

This place is going downhill fast. Menu keeps shrinking prices keep going up. Wing night is no longer all you can eat. Shame cause I once really enjoyed Jungle Jims as a kid.

Imagine my surprise when our bus pulled up at this establishment. A jungle? Mary Sue questioned, a person who sat at the front of the bus like her wouldnt understand, but to the wild ones like me this was our kind of place. I shimmied my way down the bus winking at everyone I passed. Woo woo thats the sound of the police! Wow was I in the mood to party!!! Unfortunately it was closed when we went but it looked like a nice place.

I was there Oct 24/20 for supper. The absolute worst meal we have ever had. I had a double cheese bacon burger and waffle fries, the hottest part of my meal was my glass of ice water. My son ordered a Spanish rice bowl and did not get Spanish rice or black beans in it. My wifes meal was also cold. A gentleman and lady a couple tables over also complained about food being cold and sent it back and just got fries to eat. I will not be back to this place for a long long time. If I could give -stars I would.

Steak-tacular Thursdays is my favourite special they offer. Cauliflower bites were way too saucy , should consider serving them dry and allowing a choice of dipping sauces. Spinach dip is the bomb every time Ive gone in. Burgers and fries are great too! Servers are kind and friendly and check in frequently to ensure customer satisfaction. Keep up the good work Jungle Jims. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Went with a party of 12 for wing night. 1 waiter for 12 people. Was there for a matter of 3 hours and only got 3 plates each. Not a good experience. Left still feeling hungry. Will not return and will never recommend.
