Indian ethnic cuisine
The staff is always friendly and the food is always good, good portions, can be pricey I'll throw down some cash for some good butter chicken. Thankfully you can feel the spice in their sauce. My usual place to go for Indian food while over east.
Had tandoori wrap. Service was worst. She dont know how to greet customer or call when order is ready. Chicken was so cold. Had just one bite and trashed it. Wasted money.
I don’t understand the negative reviews. Seems like an op really. The butter chicken was wonderful. The flavour was deep, you can taste that the ingredients were processed properly to bring the fullness of their flavour. Just the right amount of heat that comes through to compliment the taste. In many butter chicken the chicken is over cooked, rubbery, and tough to chew. This chicken was perfect. These guys know what they are doing.
The staff were amazing. Super helpful with food suggestions. I tried the buttered chicken, spicy version of course. I don't think I've ever had better buttered chicken! If anyone would like to try Indian food for the first time, make sure to stop in here!
Omg! Spring rolls was extremely tempting & took me to those old delhi street food taste. Also, the malai momos were great too & dahi pani puri was okay. Do try their spring rolls & even the staff was friendly & served us with a great smile.
Chicken biryani has no taste and soggy too. Not worthy. I wont recommend this item to anyone.
We tried their momos today. It was so delicious. I would say must try. Authentic taste. The new chef is really amazing.
We love Delhi Street / Flavours of India. Food is very authentic and delicious. Staff are very kind and thoughtful especially Vivek 🤍 Highly recommended.
Food taste was so much bitter, Tastes like old food was not fresh at all.
Tandoori momos and spring rolls are worth trying! Absolutely love them. Customer dealing was EXCELLENT!
ordered lamb curry it was really good. I loved it. Naan was readymade but expected freshly made.
Best chilli momos Best spring roll
Best restaurant in Saint John. Loved the food and the service was top notch. Must try.
Delhi street was fantastic. The food was delicious, with great flavours and quality ingredients. Service was friendly and the place was well maintained. Highly recommended!
Very nice staff and food
Came back for an order after not having been there for about 6 months. Had the qorma chicken and they ve changed the recipe for the better. It s so much improved! The new menu is also really appealing and I can t wait to try other items!
The food is really awesome and the service is outstanding.
Amazing food , recentely add more things, should try out
Dining at Delphi Street Restaurant was a pleasure from start to finish. The ambiance is welcoming and stylish. Every dish was a feast for the senses, with beautifully presented and delicious food. The waitstaff was knowledgeable and courteous. Truly a five-star experience!
We tried momos at this place , they were so good and even the staff was very friendly .
Dont try their noodle burger, very small portion as they use pav bhaji bread instead of burger bun ..not worth the price
Loved their spring rolls and Momos. Something you must try if you are visiting St John Vegetarian options: They have various Vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: Kids can try their snacks, my all time favourites
Small menu with cool fusion items and Indian classics, a little mild on the spice but very authentic and tasty.
Visiting today from Toronto. I just wanted a quick, small bite and the Deluxe next door had high prices and no small portion options. I went next door to this Delhi Street instead and ordered a kids portion of poutine. The fries were fresh and the gravy was great. Whats better, the kind customer service will have me returning again. I love friendly people. Thanks guys!
Butter Chicken was great
I tried dry Manchurian It was delicious and spicy Indian test I recommend Delhi street Food : 5/5
Delhi Street is awesome! Their food tastes just like India. I tried the Fish Pakora, Momos, Noodles Spring Roll, and the new Spinach & Corn Spring Rolls. They were all super yummy! The flavors were just right, and everything was perfect. Big shoutout to the team for making such delicious food!
Waste of money Very bad quality. Don t go to this restaurant.
Good service
Customer service oriented staff/owners, fast service, and tasty food!!
Great food and friendly staff, Butter chicken and spring roll were fabulous. Worth a buck Food : 5/5
Me and my daughter walked by this restaurant at the mall, the smell was too enticing to resist. We got our food to go and we were far from disappointed after trying it at home! This restaurant is my new favourite! Unbelievably delicious meals, friendly staff and I felt the prices were very reasonable considering the portions. Even my 8 year old wanted seconds and thirds! The chana malasa and chicken curry are our favs, we will definitely be going back again. I think they would do great opening a nice dine in restaurant up town for a nicer atmosphere.
Great food
Amazing customer service they paid attention to my needs and suggested good things.
Chicken curry was very good. Nice and spicy. Rice was aromatic and firm. Service was quick and friendly. Reasonable price.
must try spring roll these are best
We immigrated from South Africa and have been looking for almost 2 years for good Indian food m, and this place was it. Food is so good it made us miss home. Highly recommend this place.
Delicious omg great price point. A gem Vegetarian options: Lots!! Kid-friendliness: So great w my kids
Very good food spl chicken mandi Full of Arabic and indian taste veg manchuria
Ma sha allah great Taste. The Masala chai was really good. And the chicken curry was also delicious and tasty. All there meals are Halal. Will do visit again and again . #Halalfood #TastyFood #IndianFood #delhistreetfood
We order combo non vege thali and beryani rice and it taste amazing. Combo is pretty big portion for me so I shared it with my husband I like the curry the best and the dessert that comes with it. The beryani rice is what I expected for my husband like spicy food and one of his favourite rice now. The staff or maybe the owner is so accommodating and pretty good service from them.
Very nice food. One of my favorite places to eat.
Very nice food. One of my favorite places to eat
Today taste chicken biryani its very tasty. Taste like home.
Terrible Taste.. Not Authentic Indian Food.. All the Gravy was Very Watery (thin) , food was not fresh. Never Coming back
Delicious Food, Great Customer service and Value for Money. Undoubtedly Best Indian Restaurant in town. I had Shami Kabab & Kesar Kheer today which is one of Chef Special Menu item , Shami Kabab was served with Fries & both food items Tasted Delicious. Food Quantity and Taste was far above my expectations. It reminded me of Food from back home. Would Definitely recommend this to all who love or would like to taste Indian Food.
Soooo good! Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options Food : 5/5
Pathetic frozen food/gravies!
Ordered lamb, but not sure wether it was lamb or beef.
Extremely bland and stale food and definitely not worth the price. Staff claims the food is fresh but a bite and a sniff will tell you otherwise.
Really good food and wrap
How would you call this a biriyani??? Horrible!!! If there was an option for no star I would have done that. And the prices were high. I m totally disappointed with the food and will not ever recommend it to anybody again
This place is a hit and a miss. 2 days ago I was in the mall at 11am when Delhi Street opened. I ordered a butter chicken combo, it was about $20 and it was incredible. The butter chicken mixture was hot, had a decent amount of sauce and lots of chicken! Far more than what comes in your average butter chicken. I would have rated this place a 5. Today is a different story. I loved the food so much the other day that I wanted to treat my husband to some butter chicken. I went around 4pm, its Friday, I ordered 2 combos for $38ish, and they were ok, no where near as good as the other day! The food was merely warm, and a lot less chicken. The taste was of course still excellent but I just wish the quality was consistent. Still I will certainly be back, Ill just try for earlier in the day.
Love the food! Tastes great and the service is quick, I would love to see more dishes in the menu in the future !
Good service by Ayman.
Amazing food and super-friendly staff! This restaurant has an amazing presence, and the delicious smell of cooking food is only surpassed by the welcoming friendliness of the staff. Highly recommended!
Friendly owner and delicious butter chicken!
Bad and ignorant customer service, no greetings at all . Food quality and quantity was not good as expected. Only fries was good ..lol
Great lunch option in the mall. Good portions. Great flavors. And so nice to have a food place at the mall that is not just another big franchise!
Delicious food. Excellent staff. Consistent quality. Always a great experience! Highly recommend
Food is really good, its very clean and the staff is awesome! Will be back fo sho!
Never eaten there so couldnt tell you about it
The best rice in Saint John
I ordered cardamom tea with pav bhaji , samosa chaat, mango lassi and aloo tikki burger. Everything was good but the burger was amazing
Incredible food & great service. Highly recommend
Their chicken wrap is really good everyone should must try it
Yummy butter chicken, mm-mm! And check out the mango lassi too.
Love the chicken wrap. Allo tikki burger is also worth trying.
Worst food ever tasted Take a purée Add chicken and rinse it Chicken curry ready Seriously Just felt so bad because food was not up to the mark
Okay-ish Indian food. We had aloo tiki chat which wasn t great, neither was the mango lassi, the papdi chat was alright. We went here at 430 pm on a Sunday evening , so being so close to closing time, they didn t have Pav bhaji available
good flavor
Such an amazing experience. The chicken biryani was flavorful and perfectly cooked, while the lamb biryani impressed with its rich gravy. The plain rice was light and fluffy, and both the plain and butter naans were soft and delicious. The cozy ambiance and attentive staff made the dining experience enjoyable. For biryani lovers and those seeking authentic Indian flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit. I cant wait to return and explore more of their tempting menu.
Food is excellent every time I eat here and the service is always friendly. Only place in the mall food court worth eating at! Highly reccomend!!
Had non vegetarian thali. Quality didn t meet expectations. Taste was bad
I had the channa and dhal, and both dishes were disappointing. The dhal was just a few lentils floating in a flavourless sauce and the channa was way too oily. You get very little food for the price.
Fantastic
Very nice and tasty food with amazing service and cutsomer response. Highly recommended. The Aloo Tikki burger is amazing must tryz
Had an amazing experience with these guys. I had an order for 16 people for an event at home and the butter chicken and Naan was just perfect- very authentic taste. The staff went an extra mile to help me for this order. They close by 6pm on Mondays but they made special arrangements to give me this order after working hours as I wanted that by 9. Appreciate their flexibility. I have also tried their spicy Biryani. Loved that too. Thanks guys..
The food is just amazing. I didnt know what to expect from the lamb meat, and it was very tender and delicious. Thank you so much!
Bad food , bad customer service , we ordered thali meals they told us thali meals means only chicken . And they changed around 58 dollars .. abhorrent experience When we try to put reviews they removed it. I posted the picture of thali meal that they provided . I don t know why they called thali meal
Worst! Their curry its like a canned tomato sauce and put meat on it. Worst!
Food is horrible , we bought the lamb curry meal but its the worst. The sauce taste like tomato sauce in a can! It s sour taste..
Go to restaurant!!
I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. The food tasted terrible, especially the cardamom tea, which was nothing but garbage. Additionally, the staffs behavior was terrible, and there were concerning signs of possible racial bias in how they served food. Overall, it was a regrettable dining experience.
Great food service enjoyed the taste of the food
I had an amazing experience there ; I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality food and services dall makhani and naan was like supperrbbbb; Quick service & very trustworthy . Went here with my friends and again we had a superb meal, the staff are friendly and well trained the food is fabulous and it s very good value for money ! Don t change a thing you are perfect !
Awesome place. Foods really good. Awesome service
It was great
The food and service is excellent!
Best Indian authentic food in town, been there several times, excellent customer service, good food with affordable prize. If you want to have authentic Indian food with reasonable prize a must visit place. We will be back soon.
Best samosas in Saint John!
Tried the Shahi paneer today for lunch, it was delicious. My partner had the butter chicken and it was great as well. We will be back.
The spice is nice, just the place for a change of pace.
Worst food ever pls dont waste your time and money plsss
The food was Halal. I tried both beef and chicken biriyani. I liked the taste. Not authentic but delicious. I have alsobliked their chicken khurma. Mango lassi was average.
Over and over the food is amazing, always top quality, and packed with flavors. Highly recommend this place
Best Indian food
They have the most amazing butter chicken I have had in a long time!! My new favorite.
Might be a small place in a food court, with a small menu but the few selected dishes they have are great! Its truly authentic Indian cuisine. I had their lamb saag curry and it was amazing, the right amount of spices and plenty of lamb. The portion was enough and price is fair. On a prior visit i also tried their lunch special which was good too. If you like a good curry, check them out. Parking: Plenty of space. Located inside the mall Wheelchair accessibility: Mall is wheelchair accessible. Restaurant is in the food court
Ordered the chicken curry lunch special. The rice was cooked perfectly and the curry sauce was very good . My complaint is the chicken was very dry.
Worst indian food restaurant in Saint john. Food is always dry and oily. They gave left over korma instead of paneer curry once. Biryani is just dry rice with masala. Over pricy for the dry food. Not worthy at all.
I bought samosa chat, but i felt like i was eating pizza. Totally soaked in tomato sauce with big pieces of onions which i never found in samosa chats. Looks like it was closing time and a bad choice.
I had butter chicken; which cost me 26$ (can you imagine 26$ for a butter chicken ). They dont give any salad or any drink with that they gave 1 Naan bread which was frozen was grilled , Rice and butter chicken portion was realy small ; Please give value to customer money ; atleast if some one spending money give a proper meal that a normal person can fill his stomach . I am very disappointed by the portion size ;cheap management Food make no justice to butter chicken and rates ; Well after spending 26 $ ; I ate from McDonalds. This is not a type of restaurant I am looking to visit again .
This eatery proudly proclaims its food is authentic but the biryani was prepared like fried rice, as in quickly fried or tossed with a masala paste, upon order, instead of being cooked in the traditional dum method. I should have known better when the server asked how spicy I wanted it; had it been cooked in the traditional dum method, it would not have been possible to adjust the spice level of the rice, upon order. For this to be possible, I would have had to have waited about 45 minutes ( instead of the 5 minutes I actually waited) for my chicken biryani, as the cook would have had to have started on my order, from scratch. My suspicion was confirmed when I found lumps of pure white rice within, that had missed the last minute stir-in of the masala mix. It was also garnished with scallions, which was glaringly inauthentic and deprived the dish of the requisite and beautiful fragrance of cilantro leaves. Im not a stickler for food authenticity, but it should at least taste good and similar to what it claims to be. This tasted like tom yam fried rice, had only 6 walnut-sized chunks of chicken, and an almost $19 price tag (after tax), just for the biryani, no sides, no drinks, in a food court, serving in styrofoam, with plastic cutlery, mind you. Had I wanted tom yam fried rice, I would have gone to a Thai vendor and ordered tom yam fried rice.
Visited from Toronto, tasted one of the best Aaloo Tikki burger in Canada. Must visit this restaurant if you are in Saint John, you would definitely get authentic indian taste.
If I could give it zero stars I would! Worst food I ve ever eaten, it was as if they just prepared everything in tomato sauce.
Very sour food, Dal Makhni and Chana masala both were sour. Clearly they used too much tomato paste and not fresh tomatoes at all. Messaged them on their website too, but they dont seem to care I guess.
Super Delicious food And Great service worth to spend each peny
Delicious Indian food available at very reasonable price.
Best Indian Restaurant in Saint John.Friendly service ,great menu choices and really delicious food and at affordable prices. We will be back Soon.
You should not call yourself an Indian restaurant. Don t spend your money there. The food quality was highly nasty.
One of the best desi food, with perfect blend of Indian spices. also very good cx service. Would love to visit Delhi street frequently. And quantity and quality are perfect with the money. Best thing food is all halal.
Really bad naans! Food was below average
Great to see a new place to choose from in the mall. I had a chance to speak with the owners and they were fantastic! Please try these guys out. Great food!
Tried Veg Samosa it tasted good! Plus, Staff was so friendly!!!
Some of the most delicious food in Saint John
If you can wait 30 mins for simple order then only go here. Confused folks
Awesome Place. Great service. 100% authentic Indian test. Reminds me back home
I love this restaurant mango lassi and fish.
Went on a whim, to try something new...was very pleased with the lamb biryany, was very nice dish, staff very pleasant and helpful...thank you Delhi Street, Ill definitely be back and telling my friends what a great experience I had
Yummy food, definitely try!
Excellent food, wonderful flavor with the right amount of heat
Great customer service
Very tasty food we enjoyed a lot really excellent customer service
I ate Chat Papdi as an appetizer and Non-Veg Thali as main, absolutely awesome food! Spice levels worked for the Desi in me while still in reasonable tolerance range of someone hasn t grown up with Curry! On a side note personally, I wouldn t mind paying bit extra for a full Nan and environment friendly packaging.
Chicken korma was delicious! Friendly service and the price was okay.
Amazing food. Amazing staff. The butter chicken is awesome.
At food court, a bowl of butter chicken, a bowl of rice and half a naan $14.95.
Great food and reasonable price
Love the chicken biryani and the chat papdi.
Absolutely love their butter chicken. If I could could back for seconds every time I go I would. Just delicious best butter chicken Ive ever head and the Naan bread is delicious and fresh.
Best place for Indian food in Saint John. Very affordable too.
Stopped in for lunch while shopping . Ordered butter chicken with rice. Very good taste and great service but unfortunately I think it was completely over priced ($17.46) without a drink. I would recommend the meal if the cost is no concern to ya. Thanks
Great flavorful food, and their chai tea is bang on. Very impressed. Nice to have new food in the food court.
The best and authentic Indian food Must try.
