Before ordering a tikka roll, I asked about the wait time. They said it would be 15 minutes, so I ordered. However, I had to wait more than 30 minutes. When I mentioned this to the person at the counter, she ignored me and didn t even offer an apology. The food also didn t taste great.

Worst service! A front person even doesn t know what food they have available or no. We full family went to this place , she took the order and then after 10 minutes she said, O ! Allu Tikki burger is not available. They took forever to give us only Fries and pizza , even no other customer was in the store. WORT FOOD AND QUALITY . Never go.

Delicious. My first time there and I was not too familiar with the food, so they walked me through with a few samples. The chef also took the time to let me try his DANGER sauce, not for the mild people, but I loved it. Some smoke with ghost pepper. Yumm!! Brought home some extra hot sauce, but didnt really need it. Going to have to make a trip to Milledgeville just for this 2024/06/12 Coments I stopped by today because I noticed their sign said new offerings. Unfortunately, my favorite dish, Aloo Chana, was gone. I was at a loss, but Robin, knowing it was my FAVE, said you should try the Chana Masala and she gave my a sample. While its not my Aloo Chana, it was delicious. Especially once we added some tamarin sauce and their magical shaker of spice, I was in love with it. To cap it all off, they have stuffed naans. I bought one with peanut butter and fudge, and one with tandoori chicken. Havent tried the tandoori one, but the pb&f was sinfully delicious. After I finished it I had to talk myself out of going right back to get another.

Ive been coming to this place since it was a little stand in the Saint John city market. The food is fresh and great everytime. The people are amazing and it is worth the trip. Dont come here and just get pizza and donairs or you are missing out on a world of flavour.

Best wraps I had in saint john

This is a simple little wonderful shop. They are not trying to be anything fancy the service is excellent and the food takes getting used to. It s good quality and reasonably priced. I think this is a wonderful addition to our neighbourhood and I love eating here

We ordered biryani , quantity was half of the box and taste was sweet.. really had bad experience..same thing with veg..

Food tasted so bad. Meat rolls were okay but vegetable curry was so bland and tasted like nothing. Roti and naan are not good too. Biryani quantity was very less not enough for a toddler too. Price we paid for food is really high for what we got.

Went in on a Monday night with two friends and we split the Monday special. 3 regular donairs and a 12 inch garlic fingers. Food was delicious and most filling. And the service was great. Very friendly. We were there late and they asked us if we needed anything else before they closed and allowed us to stay and felt most welcome. 10/10 would recommend.

Went here to catch up with some friends. We ordered the Monday special, 3 donairs and a garlic finger. It was more than enough food for the three of us. We came in late but the staff allowed us to stay late and told us not to rush. Will definitely be back.

I don t get to Naan-ya business much because it s in the other side of the city but I had it twice this week. Monday family day my friend tried it for the first time and wasn t disappointed. However she said next she will get more sauce. Thought the donair meat was a bit dry. Other than the she was satisfied for her first experience. I on the other hand was not disappointed at all. Ordered yesterday too,and although the delivery driver got lost finding my house,was still very satisfied once my order finally arrived. Always a pleasant experience whether it be in person or via delivery. Thank you to the owners for being nice and providing such great service!! Also constantly recommending this place!! Sadly. No photos to share as I was too excited to eat it!! Next time!!

UPDATE - The issue has been fixed and 6/5 it shall be This is just a re-review with a hint of constructive criticism. I love the food here and usually get the Donair or Donair Poutine. However I ve noticed these last few months the Donairs have dropped a bit in quality control. They are still good ,but they are never HOT anytime I order them it s always barely warm or even Cold. Not sure if it s the sauce that is cooling it down or maybe they are sitting for a bit. Either way I will gladly give this place 5/5 if this issue is fixed because the food is really really amazing when on point. Hope this message gets to the people that need to hear it. Excellent experience.... True Indo Pakistani taste for some of the dishes other variety of fast food and grilled food is available. Certified Halal Restaurant. 2 days before I ate butter chicken and today Mixed Grill....the Ramadan Offer was amazing with additional free of charge items....price was lower than market average. Parking was more than enough in both the visits. Parking: Free plenty of parking was available right in front of the restaurant.

Ive been hearing nothing but great things about their food since they opened, and from what I tried I would say its absolutely true. I got a White Korma platter with rice, a Kebab bun, naan on the side, and 2 baklava. Everything was good, but the real star of the show was the Korma. It was exactly what I wanted, deep rich flavor with just the right amount of spice kick. Highly recommend it, and ill definitely be coming back to try other food.

I orded the Seekh Kebab with fries, and chickpea salad. Plus, Samosas! The beef kebab was seasoned well, although not hot. The garlic aioli was good. The flavor of the fies was good, but they were over cooked and not hot. The chickpea salad was fine, but the thickness of the tamarind dressing did not go. The samosas were a good flavor, but over done. However, they were hot!! As well, the tamarind sauce consistency almost went with the samosas. My favorite thing were the washroom signs!!! I might try eatting there again. They have non dairy options including cheese, which is great!! Service was very good, fast, and helpful.

Went there for some advice to whip up some Indian styled cuisine recipes and the staff were super helpful and provided me with a few spice samples to use. And the young fella recommended the curry rice to me, good call!

Was waiting 15 min at the front desk. They all were busy for take out orders in front of me, but didnt feel necessary at least to greet the customer at the front desk or say just hi. Worst customer service I have ever had in my whole life. And this type of service cant serve good food for sure.

Edit: I went in again the last week of March and the rice is well cooked and much better. Rating it from 2 to 5 as I do like their over all food. my only suggestion is to add more vegetarian options. While the food here is very good, I do not receommend the platter with rice. I have been here 3 times and every time the rice is never fully cooked. The first two times I was like ok maybe its a bad batch of rice, but third time again the same crunchy rice. You have an amazing spice to the rice, add a little more water as its very crunchy and hard to enjoy the meal. It is hard to believe no one has ever mentioned this.

Ive been here 3 times now and its always been great! The service is amazing and the food as well. The spice level is perfect for me. Its very flavorful dishes and its served fast. I recommend the spinach dish with chicken, biryani rice and the chick pea salad!

Had high hopes. I waited 20 minutes for freshly cooked butter chicken. In the end they slathered butter chicken sauce over burnt tandoori chicken. I saw it in the tray over cooked and thats what I got. The rice was good and very spicy. The Naan bread is made by hand and quite good.The atmosphere was lame at best and theres an echo in there so with the 4 kids eating in there I couldnt hear my server. She was wearing a mask which I appreciate as long as she takes it off when she leaves. The pandemic is over. The masks never worked anyways. I know I work around hazardous materials far more dangerous than covid. I wont be coming back. First impressions are everything. Butter chicken is easy to make. I was bummed. Believe me I wanted to like it.

We ordered a donair poutine and garlic fingers that poutine was the nastiest thing Ive ever tasted in my life it reeked of eggs and tasted just like the smell and the garlic fingers were fisher then my exs lower parts I couldnt believe what my friends had digested and yes I mean friends because I was the only brave soul who did not try this devilish concoction I say the the weary mind your heart and soul as this food taste like its hundreds of years old maybe if it was a better putine and garlic fingers Id be happy but I do gotta say they make one hell of a donair :) also their donair sauce is amazing

I ordered the buttered chicken. I found it to be overcooked and dry and the buttered chicken super spicy and not creamy at all. Instead of the chicken being cooked in the sauce, As it should be . The sauce was poured over the top.I had the chickpea salad as a side it was the only thing that was good about my meal. The rice was stone cold and dry. The upside staff were definitely friendly .

Donair pizza, is the best

Got the paratha wrap with fries, biryani and samosa. Food was great. Tamarind sauce was a great compliment to the tandoori and veg in the wrap. Shop was a little in need of a wipe down, but expect they were just finishing dinner rush when I was there. Price was right for the portion of the food. 100% will go again.

Heard the owners speak terribly about customers weight and food choices who had just left before I ordered. After leaving my complaint I was told it was a fake review and the owners have asked me to remove it. Very unfortunate experience

Purchased the Belly Buster Donair via delivery app this evening and was pleased in every possible manner. The Naan bread was delicious, moist and uniform in texture. The donair meat was beautifully spiced and obviously hand cut from a proper spit/rotisserie (how some shops get away with Bonte or other pre-cut sliced meat is sad and tearful ). Tomatoes and onions were fresh and plenty and the donair sauce was very very good. I requested extra tomato and onion and I really loved the little note attached to my order that read lots of tomato and onion . I ordered the BELLY BUSTER and you d have to be a downright starving Grizzly Bear to plow through that. I suppose I ate a third of the BB Donair tonight and I ll task myself with finishing this delicious giant donair over the course of the day tomorrow. Thanks Naan Ya! I ll be looking for more of these from you thank you very much!

I don t usually leave reviews but I felt compelled to this time. I haven t visit them since they left the city market and I was limited on my time. I was greeted with a warm welcome and given some samples that were both awesome. I bought a korma platter with salad, rice, and naan and was out of there in 5 mins with food in hand. The staff were polite and accommodating, the food has a lot of flavour and good heat. I even got a stamp card, but 6 get one free. I ll def be popping by whenever I m in the neighbourhood to order enough for my free one and to try everything. Thanks Naan-ya

My wife and I stopped by on our way back to Ontario. The food was 10/10. You can tell that they use fresh ingredients and put care into their work. We had pizza, garlic sticks, bun kabaab, and the masala fries. Would recommend. Bonus points for the puns!

Totally a hidden gem in the city. They cook their food with such a passion and care and whenever I stop in, everyone is so friendly and with a smile. I have enjoyed a lot of their menu from paratha rolls, samosas chaat and even the butter chicken pizza with their garlic aioli fingers. Never a bad time at all and it s truly a treat for dinner.

Repeat customer, but first time reviewer! This is by far my favourite locally owned and operated restaurant! The staff is so very knowledgable and very helpful. We weren t really sure what we wanted tonight but after seeing seeing the special garlic fingers advertised on Facebook & we knew we had to stop to try them. While we were there, we decided to get lunch for tomorrow and the way they packaged it and marked on, It was so sweet. 10/10 for everything! Oh, and the fries I thought they were just gonna be something on the side that we might not eat They were devoured in the car before we even got home and they will be on the next order! Parking: Parking wasn t an issue. We pulled right in front of the restaurant very easily.

I visit Saintjohn last week and visit you re restaurant on 30th November , I bought poutine , paid 13$ and few cents ,I was excited to get Halal food We start eating while driving and find out that fries/chips were cold / donair meat was cold , I just could finish half and end up throwing , At least if you can t cook fresh for at least you can warmup food before serving to customer

The staff and the owner of the business were very helpful and reassuring that the foods were 100% Vegan with an extra peace of mind that there was no cross contamination. Naan Ya business has MOVED from the city market to their new location and it is AMAZING! Its a welcome addition to the food scene on this side of the city. The food is halal and the menu has revamped. Theyve kept the donairs and Pizza from the previous owners and have added more and made them BETTER. Excellent food and great service with good variety. Vegetarian options: Ask the owners and they will be happy to help you make the right choice ! One of the most friendly and welcoming restaurants in Saint John that caters to all dietary restrictions. Brand new location in the North End that opened late August 2022 after a few years in the city market. New, expanded menu brings some of the old favourites as well as many new items. The best vegan pizza we ve ever had - period.

Go to this restaurant! The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. This was the best vegan pizza we have had and we tried many while living in Ottawa. We will definitely be coming back. A huge thank you to this business for offering vegan friendly option as there arent many around Saint John.

Heard so much about them, had to finally try it. The food was amazing. I ve tried their chicken tikka platter, samosa chat and the plant based butter chicken roll. They have a wide variety of items on their menu. They also have pizza on their menu which is yet to be explored. Can t wait! Really cute couple running this place. Love their energy and the hard work they putting in to their business. Definitely recommend this place. Food and service both were amazing!!!

Love the rice!naan bread is delicious. Donair is good. I prefer thinner meat. Portions are fair and reasonably priced

Drove all the way from Moncton to Saint John to have lunch here. It was delicious and worth the ride! Ordered Bun Kabab , Paratha Roll, mixed platter which included Seekh kabab , Chicken pieces and Donair meat. Everything was so good! Met the owner and he was such a humble person.

Food : I would say 7.5 out of 10 Had been here 3-4 times liked their chicken tikka roll and pizza. Also heard their channel chat is good too. Pizza : For the 1st few bites we did not like the taste( Like most, my taste had a pre fixed flavour when it comes to pizza) was completely new and different. Then I started liking it,its new and different. But they could try to work on the thickness of crust though, its chunky. Tikka Roll: Taste is very good, I wish they had the Indian style rumali roti as well. Pricing: Moderate. Service: I would give 10 out 10 for the service, they are very welcoming, friendly, customizes the dish to our taste, Place: Big place, can accommodate around 28-30people, never too crowded . Preparation time : In between 10-15 mins. I will try their whole menu. Vegetarian options: They have Palak Paneer, Daal Platters, Vegetarian pizza,Vegan pepperoni chaat masala fries, chana chat, plain paratha, samosa Parking: Free parking Kid-friendliness: Not sure

rude staff, owners talked bad about customers that were in the store, food was mid at best anyway. not coming back is an easy choice

This place is AMAZING! First off, we re vegan, so we were really happy to see a few vegan options. My wife and I ordered the beyond butter chicken and it was so yummy, especially with their house made garlic sauce (also vegan, and so freakin good). The staff are also so incredibly kind and go above and beyond to make your experience great. Highly recommend.

If youve had enough of pizza, fish and chips, and burger and fries kinda take out, then these naans are a good option. Best eaten freshly baked.

I got the butter chicken and it was undercooked and a strange flavour.

Tried the tandoori chicken naan night market special and it was delicious! The chicken had the perfect amount of spice and the fresh naan bread with garlic butter was top notch. You should try it, you wont be disappointed. Just go!

Literally just finished eating our stuffed Naans and had to write a review. They are SO delicious! We debated grabbing some more before we have to head to the airport but we were too full and I feel these are best eaten fresh :).

The tandoori naan was excellent. Made fresh using a middle eastern style oven, everything was packed full of flavor. Price is good, reflects the great taste and portion size. Staff are also refreshing to interact with, very good service.

Ordered delivery for valentines day and it was excellent they even called to confirm all the details were correct which was very thoughtful. Great new place Saint John has needed!

The staff are incredibly kind and the food is delicious! Every time I ve ordered something from here; I m always given the experience of a great conversation and watching as my food cooks in their authentic tandoor oven! Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area that they stop by and grab a bite. Also, the Homemade Garlic Aioli is amazing!!

My husband and I first visited the Saint John City Market location the first of this week. We shared a beef taco stuffed naan from Naan ya business and immediately made plans to return before leaving to go home. We did that this morning. We ordered a beef taco to take home to our oldest son who went home with his grandmother and aunt, a cheese and spinach, a garlic and cheese, and a peanut butter cup. Everything is so delicious, the staff so kind and friendly, and the cherry on top was when my husband gave the owner his buy 6 get one free card because we dont live in this area and cant redeem it and she told him that she will give it to the next person who comes in asking for free food...paying it forward to some of the less fortunate population...That really made me happy. It shows that these people have hearts and arent in business just for the money. That they want to help people have a full belly. I promise we will be back and I hope we can still find you in business whenever that day comes. Youre a beautiful person...and PS. My little 4 year old boy really liked your under Armour head covering today. Thanks for a delicious lunch.
