Not a family friendly place at all. Staff were very rude .

Love going with my kid and as a girls night out.

Rude staff, over priced frozen food from Costco cooked in an air fryer, and sections of board games were very messy and unkept. The beverages, while over priced, were delicious. This was my all time favourite place when located uptown and on Rothesay Ave. Sad to see the environemnt brought on by the knowledgeable and friendly staff is no longer a value.

Awesome place to play games or plan a night out with friends. Many activities to attend. Trivia is definitely one of the best around!

Its open again! Out east in Saint John, by Breakout Saint John! What a day! We stepped through the doors of Offline Board Game Cafe and had the best time, just like old times. Board games - Queendomino - and fresh nachos, loaded with fixins, taquitos, boneless buffalo chicken bites, and a personal pizza. Couple that with the addition of Maritime Foam and the incomparable Anthony Stuart and we all had a blast! With all the different Nerf blasters, there is something fun for everyone. Great fun in a place that feels like home, because the staff have been willing to treat us like friends since the first day we walked through the doors to play a game or two, a few years ago. They were so friendly that we kept coming back, until they just accepted that we wanted them to be our friends. Thanks for being amazing people and making an amazing place to gather. Kid-friendliness: It is a place for kids who enjoy board games and NERF and Nachos.

Really cool place. Its a good way to get away food/drinks are expensive though

Went to it on a whim with some friends, the mozzarella sticks werent amazing but the nachos very much were though, the little indicator was an amazing. I will be coming back again

The food is not good. I got what was advertised as a baked mac n cheese and what I received for $15 was elbow macaroni and kraft dinner mixed together with smashed up ruffles chips and a bit of shredded cheese on top. It was disgusting and hurt my stomach i want in hungry and left feeling sick. The games are fun but dont go in expecting to eat

It was spontaneous and amazing I went with my work for a work party with winners and I fully enjoyed the full experience not to mention theres even a new surprise inside this time around and their new location theres a Nerf battle zone!

The Offline Board Game Cafe is a cozy place for a fun afternoon or evening! They have so many board games, including a bunch of very cool looking vintage ones. I love that you can buy shareable snacks such as chips or candies to share with the table. And they also have a wonderful selection of drinks. I was super surprise to see the Nerf arena, something to try next time for sure!

My son had his birthday party there with Maritime Foam (nerf guns) and everyone loved it. While the party guests were busy shooting each other, my older son and I played board game that we love. The staff were excellent...very friendly, very helpful and very attentive. My only complaint was that some of the boys didnt like the pizza. It was OK but could have been much better. Overall a fantastic party experience and would go there again.

First time checking this spot out and it was great. Huge selection of games, friendly, knowledgeable staff and great menu for drinks and snacks to go along with your gaming. Really good price to play some games with friends in the heart of uptown Saint John.

This place is fantastic. Clean with tons and tons of games. Great no hassle service using the meeples. Kids love it.

Fun spot to spend an evening with friends. It got very noisy as some tables had too much to drink.

Had a great afternoon here with a friend. The staff are amazing and so patient explaining the games to us two old farts, food was reasonably priced and good variety and they have every game you could possibly want. There were families with kids, teens, old people like us..... No matter who you are, youre going to love this place.

This is such a fun place to come to! Great selection of games to play, theres lots of good food. Everyone is very nice and helpful! John is especially amazing!

A great place to go on rainy days, low-key evenings when you dont want to dress up or spend a lot of money. Beer is over-priced (even compared to the area) hence, 4 stars vs 5. Some staff are very knowledgeable about the games and others really arent (also a reason for 4 stars). Having been to other places with the same concept, it could use a little work in the areas mentioned above but otherwise it is great place! I visit often and still recommend despite the flaws.

Such a great addition to the city! Great location, friendly staff, and oh so many games to play. We dropped in for a couple of hours on a Friday night and the cafe was full of lots of people having fun disconnected from their phones and connected to those around their tables. Well done! We will be back!

If you enjoy any type of table-top game, youll enjoy this place. Great selection of games, great service, decent selection of food and beverages (and reasonable pricing on the same). They have a loyalty card, which is a nice incentive to return. Clean facilities. I thought it was great! Ill definitely go again.

Oh man! I CANNOT say enough good things about this place! 1,500+ board games to try. Fun food selection, teas and coffee, and they have their liquor license so you game have a brew while you game with your friends. Ive taken my 11 year old son and he loved it. I took my wife (who is not a boardgame fan) and she also loves it. Cant wait to go again!

This place was SO much fun. It was my first time ever visiting a board game cafe and I was a little hesitant at first. When I first arrived, I was greeted by extremely friendly staff and an abundance of games. The prices are very reasonable, the service is so fast, the games are in immaculate condition and if you need any help with a game the staff are extremely educated and willing to help! I will most definitely be back!

An excellent family venue with weekly options to watch the kids while the parents play. There are themed evenings and loads of board games for 2-multiple players. They have a massive selection of games and fairly priced food.

I was going to take my son here for his birthday but when I called and asked for prices the lady had terrible customer service and would not help me. She would only direct me to the website and when I said thank you goodbye she just hung up.

Lots of game selection and staff know their stuff. Well it was anyway before they closed to move and got all coy and sneaky about a reopening date and location...share or get out of the biz.

What a magical place to spend with friends, the whole family and just the staff themselves. Great selection of both games to play and buy, as well as a fantastic food and drink menu. Over 900 games to play, so everyone will find something they love. Cant say enough good things!

Wonderful. Great prices, amazing and helpful staff, and so much selection. I will definitely be back with friend, I would say its my new favorite spot in Saint John. If you go I recommend the sweet and salty bowl, a mix of all their chips and candies in one bowl.

Great staff, always there to take your food and drink orders, tonnes of games, if you do not know how to pay a game they will help you out. if it is a slow period they will even sit an help with running a game if needed, they have three rooms, the main cafe, party room and the AndX. they are always changing out the games and putting on events.

I loved that place! Welcoming crowd, excellent selection of games. Owner is a cool chick! Love that place. I would hang there often if I wasnt from montreal!

So many options, and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful to be able to give suggestions and advice.
