We have always enjoyed our dining experiences at Pomodori Pizza. Ordering is easy and while we wait we can go next door to Picaroons to have a beverage. They deliver the pizza right to the table. Consistently fast and so tasty. Dont forget to pick up a Gelato on your way out.

The pizza itself was a very thin crust which Im not a huge fan of. It was perfectly cooked however so I will give big credit for how the food was prepared. Not a lot of flavor with the ones that I ordered, being the Medi and the Sano. The size of the pizza was really good and I was full by the time I got through the whole thing. I would just have liked to have more flavor in the ingredients. The staff was very friendly and overall I was happy with the experience here.

Will not take orders by phone. Either will not answer the phone or will hang up when they put you on hold. Happens the majority of the time we call to place an order.

Hottest I ve ever had I love the idea of how it s freshly baked right in front of you.

My order is over one hour late and when I called I was advised that it was sent out 20 minutes previously so obviously it s going to arrive ice cold not very satisfactory and I got s different reasons why the order was late from two different people. Extremely disappointed as I have eaten from here many times, but this was my first time ordering, and will certainly not be doing it in future.

We tried nearly every pizza on the menu with our large group. They were all decreed delicious. One was a little over cooked and they took It off of our bill when they saw it. Overall great pizza!

Just called to order a pizza and was told to order from skip or door dash. I dont have either. Also said I could order online but it was confusing and kept reverting to curbside pick up. Its terrible you cant call and establishment and order food directly. Espeically when I drove 3 hours. Terrible terrible.

When done right a Margherita pizza can be a delightful combination of a bubbly crust charred in spots, an intensely flavoured San Marzano tomato sauce highlighted with hits of salt, olive oil, fresh mozzarella and basil. Instead, at Pomodori, you will receive an underwhelming pizza consisting of a benign crust, no-flavour tomato sauce and bits of mozzarella and basil assembled by gaggle of students who looked as uncomfortable in a pizza kitchen as a first-timer on a roller coaster ride. No table service, sad wine selection and staffed, as mentioned earlier, by students who appeared to have little to no experience in the hospitality industry; all of which made for a mundane dining experience. And the whole experience was particularly irksome when the expense is factored in. Shame on the management! You may have a wood burning pizza oven but it takes a lot more than an imported pizza oven to produce the queen of pizza.

Tasty pizza, although I had a simple pepperoni. My partner liked his too (chicken and goat cheese). The only weak point was that the bathroom smelled so strongly of urine! I didnt dare put anything on the floor.

Got the featured pizza (Oliva) and it was incredible! Patio was fantastic, right beside a beer place, and they even had pizza cutters for us so it was a great time! Solid prices too!

For the past 8 years Ive traveled to Moncton for work, and in that time this isn t just the best pizza I ve had there but the best meal period. Great pizzas, the classic pepperoni with Hot Honey is a great way to start, and the chicken pesto makes a great non tomato based pie. Tip, these are 4 healthy slice pizzas, very close to personal size, so make sure you order enough.

Update: They provided me an email and i emailed them the issue i faced, i didnt even receive any acknowledgement or any reply. Guess they show they care but actually dont.

For Canadians this quality of pizza is maybe ok but for us europeans its really bellow average of any standards....sorry but not good

Decent place, nothing overly special. Tourist area, so prices are a little higher. Theres nothing bad to say, and nothing exceptional to say either.

Nice place, loved the affogato when I was there. The only downside was the cashier seemed to be acting condescendingly with my friend when he didn t know what an affogato/gelato was. The rest was wonderful.

This is THE BEST pizza in Saint John. I have been many times to try different pizzas and gelato. All of the gelato I had was a very strange, crumbly texture and I would not recommend it at all. The pizza however is delicious wood-fired crust, with high quality toppings. Most times that I go the young girls burn the pizza or the thin crust rips on the bottom and they throw the pizza out and start again. It s such a huge waste of pizza. One time they burned it and I had to wait a long time for the next one while the staff ate the toppings off of the burned one. I d gladly take the slightly burned one as well or donate them to a food bank?

I just came from your uptown Saint John location , I was standing waiting at the till for at least 10 minutes Before the girl that was looking at me and talking to fellow workers even exnoleged that I was even there, not even a nod or hallow just kept talking and laughing with he coworkers. You need to teach those young girls about proper customer service. I would be fired if I acted like that to the customers. I have been a customer there ever since you opened, but I don t think I will be going there again. You have very ignorant people working for you, and yes they are young but there is no excuse for bad customer service. ,It did not look busy there at all when this accoutred

Pizza was absolutely delicious...but had to pull it apart and was rather a mess as it was delivered to a hotel. I had marked the box while itdering for sliced...seems like a no brainer to me...

Pomodori never fails to deliver fresh, delicious, and incredible quality pizzas. Theyre definitely not your average pizzeria, but I think thats what keeps me coming back. You can get a greasy slice from pretty much any bog standard pizza joint, but if quality over quantity is your jam, then definitely stop in here. I usually go for a Margherita, Medi, or Bruni, but there are no bad choices here.

I m not speaking in hyperbole or being over dramatic when I say: I got a cheese pizza from here, it tasted like stomach acid. I got another bc I m a slow learner, still tasted exactly like vomit.

I really wanted to leave a good review. Wood fired pizza is hard to find and we came here specifically to get this type of pizza. They told us they would text us when it was ready so we were sitting outside for a while. I believe this resulted in a soggy texture. There was also very little cheese on the cheese pizza. It also wasnt sliced. Normally this wouldnt be an issue but we were at a hotel so we didnt have utensils to slice it. It seemed to also need to be cooked a little bit longer. A very disappointing experience. I think most of these things can be remedied and hopefully its taken seriously by the management.

I never received a text that my pizzas were ready (as I was informed I would from the online instructions). The pizzas dont come cut, which was a problem for us as we were eating in our hotel room. The brief interaction I had with staff was pleasant. The cold, hand ripped pizza was a little underwhelming. I contacted Pomodori requesting a reply and never heard from them.

A great escape to the tastes of Italy and a lot more. Cool atmosphere and a great bonus to be able to pick up a brew at Picaroons next door. We ve been back many many times!

Mmm I love the unique variety of PIEs available here, love the thin crust... I just wish it came pre-cut.. I do ask but.. don t check... trying to sneak a slice while walking home As a vegetarian this is definitely my kinda pizza pie!

One of the worst pizza in the town saint John nb..totally burnt down pizza.Went to pick up the pizza at 8:40pm and the crew was fully rude and pizza was not fully cooked and base was burnt.Will never go back there again.If I would have option to give 0 start I would have given.Highly disappointed:(

The second best pizza Ive ever had, after little Italy in New York. It was absolutely divine even though I just had a classic pep. Authentic wood oven fired pizza and even though the crust was wafer thin it wasnt even close to burnt. I can guarantee I will be back here next time Im in St. John. The service was impeccable and they were even willing to accommodate the less cooperative members of my party. Worth every penny, pizza and tip.

I would consider myself a crazy pizza lover. Ive had pizza all over the world. The best pizza I have ever had was in Pisa, Italy. I have craved it ever since I had it. I always try pizza places where ever I go, and this pizza was absolutely unreal! Chewy beautiful textured crust, paper thin middle, lots of cheese, and a beautiful tomato sauce. I am so happy I tried to this pizza place while visiting Saint John and if you are reading this wondering if you should order, the answer is YES!

The best pizza in Saint John. There is only one size and many different fancy toppings. The coffee is great too, not something youd expect from a pizza place.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza for delivery. The crust had good flavour and a nice chew. The edge was still fairly crispy even having been in the box. It had the typical wet centre of a Neapolitan pizza. Ive, personally, never had a Neapolitan pizza come unsliced (into 4), so was a bit surprised when this one wasnt. The pepperoni had little flavour. Considering its basically a personal pizza, too expensive for what you get.

One of the best pizzas Ive had in Canada and Chicago. Best crust, flavor and quality of ingredients. Ill be trying them all.

I love this place because I love wood fire thin crust pizza. I ordered a special feature. Its their pistachio pizza and it is to die for!! The flavour combination is perfect. Consists of their Bianca pizza topped with thinly sliced red onions, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, toasted pistachios and finished off with honey. We like their uptown location because we can order and our pizza is brought to us at Picaroons when it is ready. That way we can have our favourite Yip cider with our pizza of choice.

Free pizza on your birthday!

Had a free birthday pizza, and it tasted great. Crust was super thin so it was easier to roll the slice up and eat, but if youre into that- 5 stars.

The pizza was really well made and service was quick, despite being a bit busy. The pizza crust was thin and toppings seemed fresh. The cherry pom pesto was nice and flavourful. The Della Casa salad was a nice mix of toppings with a citrus vinaigrette. They also serve gelato (with a couple vegan options)!

Good-sized portions of classic dishes, perfect for our mid-afternoon lunch break. Also attached to the brewery next door which meant some great local brews available. Well-priced, and would recommend. Also had coffee while there and would recommend as well. Overall, nice little place in Saint John.

Soggy pizza and no cutlery: We went here because it had the highest reviews of all the pizza joints in Saint John. The Caesar salad was really nice, with a great dressing that they were happy to serve on the side. For pizza, they have interesting toppings, such as spinach, feta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, etc. which many of the other joints don t offer. But the pizza was soggy in the middle. My husband likes to eat his pizza with a knife and fork (I know ). And you kind of need cutlery to eat a salad. But they had none!! After five minutes they were able to rustle up 2 plastic forks. They were only half full. So I m not sure why it needed to be so difficult.

I am at the Rothesay location right now. I have been here a million times and the pizza is always amazing as we all know. I just wanted to give props to the employees tonight! There are 6 teenagers working unsupervised and they are working amazingly well together and are cooking, prepping, and cleaning and look like they are having fun while doing it. They are extremely friendly with the customers and with each other. They are professional and seem to take their jobs very seriously. Keep it up guys!! Thanks for the delicious zah :)

One of the best hand crafted, open fire cooked pizza places there is. Service is always spot on and very helpful. Having access to Picaroons next door and being able to choose to sit on that side and also have your meal brought over to you is just awesome. Plus it never hurts to receive a free pizza on your birthday either.

Been to Pomodori Uptown location twice and the food has been fantastic! The crust is perfectly thin, the sauce is never too much or too overpowering and the ingredients always taste so fresh. Paired with a drink from Picaroons makes for a perfect supper!

I probably come here atleast once ever 10 days. Great food with amazing service! Pizza is addicting and tastes authentic. Price is a bit high but worth it in my opinion. Pictured is the Bianca (~$8.50) and Marinara (~$9.75).

They are definitely picky eaters but everyone loved their pizza! When the food arrived they were all silent! So you order at the cash, grab your utensils and water and sit down, they bring the pizza to you! C L E A N L I N E S S This place looks pretty new which is nice! My only complaint would be the tables, especially the high tables at the back are pretty woobly. O V E R A L L Q U A L I T Y The pizza was super tasty. Amazing place. Delicious rustic pizza. Shared three pizzas with a group of five people and although it was busy, the wait was well worth it. Had gelato for dessert and the price is incredible for the flavours they have. Will be coming back.
