My wife and I tried this place for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the time there, the really friendly people, the food was amazing and they even had live music... which was wonderful! Highly recommend this place, I know were heading back there!

Got it a few days ago and it was absolutely delicious! Dill pickle pizza...who knew?! And bbq chicken...both top notch! Other family members got donairs...they were loaded with meat!

Pizza and house made burgers are my go to here. Reasonably priced and the service is good.

It is a great sports bar, and place to grab a drink or some food. The kitchen seems to be open pretty late most night. Sometimes the music, while good, is too loud to hear myself think.

Terrible and RAW pizza!!! It was so gross . My friend and I got that as an appetizer because its a pizzeria too.. never had such a bad pizza. No sauce, pizza dough was raw (see pics and videos), the toppings were meh, and the cheese was tasteless. You d think its the cheese but on second observation.. it s raw dough. Raw dough contains bacteria that can cause diseases (CDC). The chicken parm had a random napkin under the dish ? Maybe to soak up the water from the spaghetti which was tasteless, had to add so much seasoning for it to be edible. The chicken was wet but edible at least.. I could not continue eating it though, it was just too watery. The pasta sauce was funky. The salad .. you can t go wrong with that haha. I didn t even know a salad came with it. My friend got a fish burger which she said was ok. The one star is because the server was nice and attentive. We did not complain to the server because there were a few people there and it was only her, so we felt bad to bring this to her attention at the time.

Pretty straight forward. I had a house burger that was as dry as you could get it. Flavourless, overcooked. My fries were homemade, but undercooked and soggy. The side of gravy was a mystery. Not sure what it was supposed to taste like. Brutal. I wont be a repeat customer.

Soup tasted exactly like campbell s out of a can. People screaming and verbally fighting at the bar. not enough staff.. waited almost a half hour just to pay our bill.. tried it again walked into another bar fight at 12pm on a Sunday. Parking: Terrible

Parking: Loads of parking. The staff was so friendly and pleasant. Wednesday is pasta night for 19.95 you get a choice of 5 pastas and a glass of wine and all you can eat frittatas . Also there is live entertainment while you have your dine. I would say two thumbs up ,To the Tipsy Tomato!!!

Ate here twice while in town visiting someone at the hospital since it was so close. Decent prices and massive portions. The donair burger was great, super large patty. The wings were a good price and we re also great. Also had the donair and fish and chips both of which were very large portions. The service was also super fast. Would definitely go again.

Walked in and was told to to just sit anywhere. Bunch of random menues were scattered around the place so just grabbed whatever we could find. Sat down and waited 15-20 mins, no one came to see us. Went to the bar to grab a beer. Asked if we could order food at the bar but was told the waitress would be with us shortly. Waited another 15-20 minutes, no one came to see us. Went back to bar to pay for the beer and it was 8.50$ for a moose green. Guy at the bar was very apologetic. Went in with low expectations but they should have been lower.

We were going quite often due to the fact it s close to home. We really enjoyed their pizza until they open the Quispam restaurant. They sent the cook out there. We went once with the new cook and our whole meal was a mess. We got our appetizers after our meal and the 3 pizzas we ordered were raw. The whole Center of the pizza was raw dough. It was disgusting. We sent them back and got back 3 burnt pizzas. So that was the end of our trips to the Tipsy. I see the Quispam restaurant is closed already. Should have stuck with your loyal customers in Saint John.

We had fun with the karaoke

Ate here with my partner last night. It was our first time and we were less than impressed. Firstly it took 15 mins for us to get our drinks because our waitress forgot about us, she was more interested in eating nachos with her friends at the bar than taking care of 1 table... then the food took forever to come.. the people next to us who came in 15 mins after us got our food before we did and when it came it was just okay. The poppers were good but the donair burger was quite bland. The decor in the pub is pretty good but due to the poor service and mediocre food we dont think we will be coming back.

Man, where to start. I first started going here when it was new. Just because it s the only bar in millidgeville doesn t mean it s good. The first couple times were awesome but, compared to now, holy cow. I went here just last night at 5pm to give it another try. The one server was setting up for a venue and she cared more about the people that were coming at 7pm over the one customer who was there now. She promptly handed me a menu and took off without asking what i wanted to drink. I sat there decided for 15minutes until she came back to ask what i wanted. I got the 2 piece fish and chips, and as soon as it came out the waitress said you re not good enough for the fancy cutlery (referring to the tables she was setting up for their venue ) tasteless, beyond greasy, and i could literally feel my stomach flipping from the second bite. I took it to go just to throw it out as soon as i got outside. I felt pressured to leave as the waitress literally stood in front of me at the bar and watched me eat. One of the cooks was in the back by the drive thru window complaining how slow it was and said that one guy show order more food referring to me. The waitress was the type of person to fight you if you didn t give her a tip. Least to say, beyond awful. Will not be returning, i d be giving a no star review if i could.

I used to really enjoy the food here but after a few bad experiences we gave it a break. Yesterday we went back after almost a year. Ill likely not be back any time soon. We were there around 5:30 pm. I ordered chili but they didnt have any, so I ordered potato leek soup. It had a strange, almost sour after taste. It was also barely lukewarm. The onion rings I ordered were ok but after a few spoonfuls of soup, I just couldnt eat it. My roommate got fish and chips and said it was OK but quite greasy and the tartar sauce was very heavy on dill taste. He could only eat 1 of 2 pieces of fish due to how oily the batter was. When asked if we wanted to take home what was left I said no and explained why. The waitress was apologetic as she said the owner wasnt there and so couldnt refund or offer exchange. I told her that was ok and I understood and paid 50 (42 plus tip) bucks for a meal we barely ate any of. Its disappointing that things having promoted an improved despite having changed the menu.

Great food , like amazing! Went for a drive around to explore stjohn and came across this gem! The food was spectacular, they even had live music and a pizza parlor! Deffinitly reccomend

Stopped in for a quick bite after not being impressed with them the first time i went. Subpar OVERPRICED pub food. It was $13.00 for 1/2lb of Mozza Sticks & 20-23 dollars for a pitcher of beer. Didnt end up getting anything to eat, but had one of the few cans of beer they had on hand. Nope wont be back... Ridiculous.

Went through the drive through and gave our last name and time ordered and they didn t have an order under our name. They all had their masks down in orange phase and they were shouting at us through the window. When called they provided awful customer service and workers could be heard in the background complaining about us and they found our order and preemptively hung up the phone on us. Poor overall experience.

The Food is really good and so is the service. Our waiter said they were going to hire a well-respected chef, but Im not sure if they ended up doing it.

Love the wings. If you havent tried the forty Creek I highly recommend

I have eaten at Tipsy Tomato a few times and the food has been ok for pub food. Last night was a disaster! We were a party of 7, our drink and food orders were taken promptly and our drinks arrived. After an 80 minute wait for our food and 5 trips made by the bar servers to refresh our drinks, our food finally arrived! I had ordered the Chili and received a bowl of purred mush. My husband ordered chicken fingers and onion rings. The onion rings were good but the chicken fingers looked like little pieces of rat.....well you get my drift! I think they forgot about them in the deep fryer for an hour! The chef should have been mortified to send that plate out to a customer! Sorry, I never give a negative review but the owner should be aware of his kitchen. I won t be returning for awhile. Let s hope that the next visit will be much improved.

A wonderful place and a wonderful server...for someone who wants spicy try the flamers sauce if you dare! Pizza was simply delicious and the Pumphouse Radler that went along with it was the best Ive had in a long time.. My kid loved the live music which only made the moments more enjoyable.. definitely be returning for more!

I knew there was a reason why Tipsy Tomato was my favorite restaurant. Was in tonight and had the most amazing server, she was so friendly. Had the beef tips and they were the most delicious thing Ive ever eaten. Things were quick and efficient and I left feeling full and satisfied! Love this place and I will most definitely be back! Keep up the fantastic work, you have a customer for life!

The food is very good but the service is quite poor. Have gone many times, and have not enjoyed the amount of time needed to wait on food, or to wait for the server to return to the table.

The service and food were good. The atmosphere was interesting. When your there on their patio at the time the musicians play, it has a down home feeling. Its a sports bar so the food is pub fare and its good.

30 degrees in the sun on the patio today. Went to try the pizza for the first time. Its worth the trip. Waitress was busy and alone..but she got to us in good time and kept on smiling. Definitely going back.

Delicious! Memorable cheese flavour and excellent pizza meat ingredients. Tastes great with their rich-flavoured ginger ale. I also like its sporty casual aesthetic that goes with its delightfully friendly wait staff! Would go again; especially with friends!

Great food and service. They were mindful of social distancing policies without feeling awkward. The server was friendly and patient with us as it was our first time. Specials are fantastic! Fair prices for soft drinks. All in all a great experience. We will be back.

I have been here many times and this was not like the others first let me say food is good and has always been great but this time we were 2of 5 people in there only 2 eating and they totally forgot our apps then still charged full price. thats why only a 4star but worth a try for sure meals are good

What do you get when you cross a pizza place and a pub and mix in some great local favourites and flavors. The Tipsy tomato offers your standard pizza offerings and some interesting and innovative offerings (for example the donair lasagna) Enjoy the patio. When we visited they had local musicians providing live entertainment. The staff is very nice and the restaurant was very clean. Usually a busy spot.

The pizza was fantastic. The service was exceptional. Looking forward to going back. I hope the patio opens up soon.

Wouldnt recommend. Tipsy just opened a new patio and customers seems to enjoy it as its always packed. If it wasnt during the covid pandemic it would be fine but about every seat at every table is full almost whenever I pass the restaurant and they seem to have little to no precautions in place. As a server in a restaurant elsewhere I know that its a government mandate to take names and numbers of customers that eat at the property in case of a an active case of covid popping up. When we went, no names or numbers were taken. While it could be that our waiter forgot there doesnt seem to be a sign in sheet anywhere. On a related note the register became quickly crowded with groups of people paying for their orders and collecting pick up orders. We think this may be because there fidnt seem to be any hand held debit machines to be able to pay at your table. I am familiar with the idea that having a door always open can give the feeling of welcoming guests. Unfortunately with the small inside dinnng area and with it being later in the night it ended up being a haven for flies and mosquitos. The washrooms were out of pretty much everything after the day. In one there was no paper towel or soap and in the other there was no papertowel either. And while it could be that the staff were unaware with how many people that were there they might want to check them more regularly. The food was a hit and miss, I had a donair and some motza sticks that were quite good. However my side of fries were inedible, very greasy and soggy feeling. My friend had a club wrap which she commented that was meh, and just okay and not that good. Overall the food was just unimpressive. On a positive note though the staff were very attentive, kind and friendly which made the experience better.

The outdoor patio is spacious and great for gathering for a beverage. The Tipsy Tips are good with the mashed taters. Looking forward to when there will be more beer on tap selections, which are coming soon.

3 stars = (its okay) which is precisely what it was on the night I visited, Okay. Ordered the Tips which were tasty but presented in an unusual fashion. Also ordered a fried chicken sandwich which was Okay. Enjoyed the patio and our server was polite and friendly. Oddly, didnt check in on us to see if we needed anything. Granted, it was a little busy but certainly not packed but I understand they had a lot of telephone orders for pizza. Id be willing to give it another shot in the future.

Wed been thinking of coming here since they opened, and Im glad we made it! We had a bacon/onion/mushroom pizza and the donair lasagna. The pizza was excellent: thick yet light crust, sauce with just a little kick to it, and good toppings. The donair lasagna was made with donair meat and was really tasty. Generous portion too. Well definitely be back, especially for the pizza.

Food was good , but being seated by the door wasnt great . Made for a consistently cold night from people coming in and out for take out orders.

Poor service, mediocre food, dont order appetizers apparently Arrived around 11:50 am for lunch, was seated with approximately 2-3 other tables and didnt seem too busy. Ordered mozza sticks, 2 entrees and while we waited a couple new tables came along, 12:42 received still frozen mozza sticks(not a big deal it happens) meanwhile both tables that came after us received their entrees, 12:48 got cooked mozza sticks, 12:54 got our entrees long after everyone who came after us. Asked the waitress after receiving appetizer why everyone was served long ahead of us and why it took so long. We were rudely told it was because we got the appetizer and made other excuses... The manager brought out our entrees and didnt say a word, over priced food was 5/10 and service 0/10. Wont be back again.
