Delicious vegan meals! I love their vegfull bowl! They are also excellent at catering to those with allergies. Even with an anaphylactic nut allergic, I feel very comfortable eating there.

5 stars all around! If you are vegan/vegetarian or a meat eater this place is the bomb! Their food is amazing! Their service is awesome! Go and try the Donair! You will not be disappointed! I travel from moncton to eat here and it s always worth the try. Best fries in New Brunswick!

Friendly service and really delicious food, very good chef. Been wanting to try it for a while now and glad I finally got there. Good size menu, something for everyone even if you are not vegan. Parking: Along the street, it wasnt too bad due to the fact that I dont mind a long walk. Parking isnt good anywhere in downtown Saint John. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible.

We visited in July 2024 based on its number one rating on trip advisor. We came in for late lunch/early dinner. We were the only ones in the restaurant. We were seated promptly but had to wait until the server finished her conversation with their coworkers prior to getting a menu. After getting our menus and getting a bit of time of time to review, the server returned to see if we had questions. I placed an order for a beer and she left to go get it without taking my husbands drink order. She brought the beer back with too much head on it and made some excuse about the heat. We then made our food order and my husband asked for his drink and no pickles on the burger. The waitress left and put the order in with the cook staff. We could hear her say no pickles and there seemed to be confusion. Meanwhile the drink my husband requested was forgotten about, which seems weird as again, we were the only ones in the restaurant. Several minutes later after our server finished socializing with coworkers, she realized she forgot the drink. On her way back, with the drink our food was ready, and even after requesting no pickles, the burger showed up with pickles. My husband mentioned it and it was taken back and a new order wasn t created, the pickles were simply picked off. The food was alright tasting and as we were finishing, our server quickly grabbed our plates and brought a bill. Not really asking if we wanted anything else and I still had 1/2 a beer to finish. Overall the experience was disappointing and I wouldn t recommend this restaurant to anyone. It does not live up to its number one rating.

I finally ate here on a visit to Saint John after hearing great things about the place as a top restaurant in the city. It honestly exceeded my expectations based on friends reccomendations! Awesome food: DELICIOUS, healthy, satisfied the hanger, and I love that they use local ingredients. Also, great service and atmosphere - eg. cute decor details. Definitely going back! Anyone would love this place.

We took our vegan friends here for lunch and it was incredible! Even if youre not a vegan or vegetarian this place is absolutely worth the visit, some of the best food weve had in Saint John so far for sure. More flavorful than most of the bigger restaurants that have been recommended to us! The food was delicious, service was amazing and atmosphere was so cozy and comfortable. We ordered burgers, donair, the brussel sprout appetizer and the vegan Cesar salad (highly recommend). Everyone loved their food, best vegan/veg (you can get regular cheese on it) burger we all have ever had. Moscow mule cocktail was great too! 10/10 honestly miss the food and already have my next order planned out for when were back in town! The owner is lovely!

Well, I can certainly say that this restaurant is splendid. It has a very cozy vibe to it and their food is absolutely scrumptious. They plate and garnish the meals perfectly. Absolutely adored the Korean sticky soy bits. The service was amazing. Highly recommend dinning here! Vegetarian options: This vegetarian restaurant is to die for. Seriously could not believe how good the food here tastes! Will definitely be going again.

I was in Saint john from Thursday to Sunday, left Sunday morning at 8am. We ate at Vegolution for lunch thursday, dinner friday, and brunch Saturday. We didnt always love everything but we ALWAYS loved something. The decor is cute, warm, interesting and inviting. We spent a lot of time chatting with our server, the chef, and a woman that I assume is the owner, and they were amazing. Best part is that they were able to steer us toward the best parts of saint john, not just the tourist traps. We genuinely considered going back Saturday night for dinner too but thought 4 times in 3 days might be a little weird. The toquitos were SO good, and we tried most of the menu, but my favourite by far were the fries... fresh cut, super crispy, my favourite part of every meal. And the vegan creme brule!! So good!! First we thought the portion was really small but by the time we finished sharing, we were both satisfied and the serving size was just right. Thanks for being such a great host to us, Vegolution - well make it a point to go back next time we go out east. Vegetarian options: Mostly vegan but some vegetarian dishes (that can also be made vegan). A full brunch menu on Saturdays (savoury and sweet options) AND multiple desserts to choose from (a big deal for vegans!!)

It was my first time to experience a vegetarian restaurant and I left a very good impression. The chef and waiters were also very friendly and very nice. Food

Summary: Food & ambiance good; service underwhelming.. This veggie/vegan focused restaurant has a great vibe, situated in an older building in downtown Saint John. GFod was good quality, with portions being on the smaller side but prices were a tad high for what we got. The downside for us was being seated at a high traffic table with a wobbly bench. Other patrons were just leaving as we were sat so it was a missed opportunity as the staff could have offered us a more suitable table given we had a senior citizen in our party. Wait staff took a longish while to take our order and to bring our food and drinks all while the place was mostly empty.

Amazing! As a vegan this is basically my favourite place in Saint John. Warning, they are closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (I didn t know that and planned to go every day) The brussels are great, but so is everything else tbh. The kombucha is fantastic, the chef has an art wall at the back, the ambiance is cozy and the service excellent.

I have been here a couple times before. The food was ok, but over priced and the service was lacking. I recently ordered the soup for take out, and I was extremely disappointed. Not only was the portion size ridiculously small, but the price they charged for it was outrageous. $15 after tax, and it was not even as big as my mug. The portion looked like a cup of soup rather than a large serving, and it was bland to boot. In addition, they charged me for the take out container. Being a vegetarian I really want to like this place but I keep being let down.

Pur recent meal was stellar, best one yet and weve been going since they opened! It just gets better and better! We had the Brussles, so tasty! Tried the Taquitos for the first time...so tasty and fresh and crisp! (Black bean, sauteed onion, spices, tvp, vegan cheese, salsa fresca, cilantro, jalapeno, avocado crema.) Of course the crunchy Santa Fe salad is the best in the city...and HUGE. But the ultimate Blow Yoir Mind dish was the Pappardelle Bolognese! Wow! That home-made pappardelle was off the charts!!! And the sauce was superb. Highly recommend!

My go to restaurant in Saint John. Vegetarian or not you will love everything on the menu!

The Kentucky-fried tofu is a life changing experience. The burgers are amazing and the Brussels sprouts are the best Ive ever eaten. The prices are super reasonable given the quality of the food, and eating in is a great experience, but having take out as an option is always excellent.

Little choice of salads or vegetables or soup. Most dishes are copies of pub style restaurants (imitation sausages, eggs, burgers, etc.)

Update: I have visited Vegolution for the 3 times now and their food never stops to amaze me. The food here is really amazing with all vegetarian options which is something amazing for a vegetarian like me. A comfy place to spend some time on a date or with your friends if you want to try something new. The only recommendation would be to add a few more beverage options in the menu. Cant wait to visit again to try something new.

Got the cheeseburger to go, dont expect it to taste like meat but it was very tasty. There is the option of dairy or vegan cheese. Cant really justify spending $24 on a burger myself but it was good food.

Very crispy burger with juicy flavours served with crunchy fries. But the sweet potatos fries blew my mind. What a charachter it has, the smoky flavour, the sweet within, the crushed salt on it gives another dimension to it, simply loved it.

Loved the Sticky Korean Soy Bits! The owner (?) was like: The carnivores really like the Sticky Bits Honestly if we weren t in a vegetarian restaurant I would have though it was pork! The cheeseburger was 6/10 from a carnivore perspective, which is saying a lot (10/10 from a veggie perspective). The fries were fantastic!! The real question for these carnivores will we go back? I never eat outside of my own home. Its probably been 6 - 7 years since Ive eaten in a restaurant. Celiac disease means even with accidental cross contamination I am typically looking at 6 - 8 weeks recovery time. So I just dont bother. Yesterday my friend suggested we try Vegolution. I saw a post with a picture about how they prepare their gluten free options and was feeling brave so I agreed to try. I am soooooo glad I did The food was amazing, AND I didnt have any issues or reactions. We even had dessert, as a former gluten free baker I was super impressed with everything! Dietary restrictions: I have Celiac disease and appreciate the efforts the staff took to ensure my food was safe for me to enjoy.

As a vegetarian in New Brunswick I love Vegolution!!! I wish I had more money to buy more food but please go there it is so yummy :)

Easily a top 5 restaurant in Saint John and consistently some of our favourite meals. Lots of great options for all preferences and tastes. We always get Korean sticky bits. Very quaint little place in downtown Saint John. Quite slow on the service on my visit with unreasonably long time to wait between main and starter. The food itself was super flavorful and delicious with good portion sizes. Very limited drinks selection. Very interesting restaurant and I think even a meat lover would enjoy the meals on offer here.

Only vegan restaurant in Saint John. Found the portions very small specially the main course. For $29 the wild mushrooms fettuccine was extremely small. Plus it was heavy on fats, resulting in feeling a tad bit sick. The Korean soy bits were oily cold and very salty. The fried Brussel sprouts were as the name suggested super fried. Wonderful restaurant! My partner and I just moved to Saint John and we are so grateful to have Vegolution as a place to have great vegan food. The ambiance is great and cozy, amazing service and so many options. Love the many that varies based on what s in season!

Had THE most AMAZING meal here last night with friends. Sticky Korean Bites Warm Mushrooms & Olives Fried Brussels Sprouts Taquitos Corn Risotto The menu, staff and atmosphere are wonderful.

This is the portion size for a $20 appetizer at Vegolution. No, I didnt eat any before snapping the picture. Its mushrooms and olives. Thats it. They may be locally sourced or foraged mushrooms, but I counted 5 olives and less than 10 small mushrooms. This is the second time Ive visited while in town on business. I had the same reaction the first time. I paid over $20 for half a broccoli. The dishes tasted ok, but I cant justify the taste for feeling this ripped off. You certainly made your profit margins off of me for the last time.

Such a yummy and amazing vegetarian restaurant with so many incredible vegan options on the menu. Would highly recommend visiting while in Saint John. And it s only a block away from the historic Saint John City Market!

Right opp Brunswick Square is this hidden gem that serves veg and vegan options. We were warmly welcomed by the host, Lucey. The atmosphere was lovely to match the hospitality, but hold on, the experience went a few more notch up with the welcome drink, appetizers, and the main course. Evening well spent

For the price, the quality of the donair was... not there. And the quantity of the important ingredients were not there. The korean bbq bites were good-not-great quality, low qty for the price. I feel like there are plenty of places around that offer a few vegan options in the area, that a vegan establishment would really have to set themselves apart and doing it by price aint exactly the first idea that comes to mind. Staff seemed nice and the atmosphere was nice. Just had to double check that the bill didnt auto include a livable wage charge or notification. Nope, still just a tip on top of ridiculous prices.

Although I am not a vegetarian or have dietary restrictions, I stopped in this restaurant with my son and his girlfriend. I will say that it is a nice place with great service. The menu is very good and stays true to the name of the restaurant. I had the Revolution Cheese Burger - it was pretty tasty. It was made from brown rice and mushrooms - an alternative to beef. Our table also had the Macaroni and Cheese, and the Vegan Donair. All meals were very good. My son was very impressed with the Vegan Blueberry Cheesecake. French press coffee was also a nice touch. My son also enjoyed the seving of Kombucha. Thanks.

Today we were in the mood for soup and salad and this place came up in a search from Google for just that. My wife and boy are not vegetarian but I am. So brought them there and we were nervous when we saw the place from outside but gave it a try. We were not disappointed in the least. My wife admitted to me that she is now willing to switch to a vegetarian diet after such a good meal. She had the lentil/pea/potato soup and I had the Vegetable Bowl Salad. My boy had the poutine and of course we nibbled his. His poutine was the best poutine I have ever eaten in my life. I highly recommend this place! I may just have to make a trip to Saint John sometime to just eat here again.

The customer service and staff are amazing and super friendly! I ordered the vegetarian poutine and it was decent. It was wayyy to salty for me and once I finished most of it the rest was just gravy soup. The Caesar salad was pretty boring but the Mac was amazing!

3 Reasons why you need to try VEGolution As someone who works on the road and is an avid foodie I must say when I visited VEGolution it made my heart and stomach full! I ve been a vegetarian for about a year now which has not been easy, and this place knows how to accommodate. 1. Atmosphere When you first walk in to this #1 rated restaurant you are bombarded with smells that make your mouth water. On top of that the place just looks earthy and cool! It has got a bunch of live plants and beautiful wooden seats that add to the environment leaving you feel like you re almost in nature. 2. Staff The whole kitchen staff is out in the open creating an even more open concept dining experience. They are super friendly and more then open to answer any of the questions you might have about the selection of food. The servers are well trained in helping you come up with a decision and are super knowledgeable. They even helped me pick out some cool local hikes in the area whilst I am staying in town. ABOVE AND BEYOND! 3. FOOD Oh, my goodness where do I even start There is a 100% Reason why VEGolution is the number one rated restaurant in New Brunswick the food here is incredible! If you are a vegan this place is for you and even if you re not a vegan/vegetarian THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU! I have spent the last two nights Dining here and I have not been disappointed. On the first night I got the Vegan tofu Curry which was fantastic with beautifully seared tofu and fresh vegetables with a bed of curry sauce YUM! Second night I got their in-house homemade cheeseburger with their award-winning poutine. The burger is made from brown rice and mushroom and it must be one of the best veggie burgers I have ever eaten. The Poutine Well, let us just say you must go there to try it out because there just aren t any words to describe it Located in the heart of Saint John s, New Brunswick it is very easily at the top of list for must eats! Check it out for yourself!

Service was above great! Server was friendly, polite and personable. The food was just ok. The cheese on the poutine was minimal and coated in a nasty seasoning. I told the server I didnt like it, but they would not change my dish, so money wasted and I was hungry. All good though, I found food elsewhere.

Some of the time I eat here I like it but most of the time love it! I had the BEST Indian burger Ive ever eaten. Ive heard people say its pricey but not when you consider the quality. One of my favorite places to eat.

Zero options for young children. No kids menu and they wont do half size orders. Like thats really hard to do with a pasta order. No juices either, unless you consider kombucha a kids juice...... I had the Donair, and it was meh. The tortilla wrap they used must have been on its last days. It was tough like leather.

Amazing service and great vegan selection

The only vegetarian restaurant in Saint John is a gem! 90% of the menu is vegan according to the chef/owner. The quality of the food is second to none, as good as the best vegan restaurants in Toronto and Montreal! Beautifully presented and so delicious! The interior of the restaurant is stunning, especially with restored original stamped tin ceiling. Not to be missed for both visitors to and residents of Saint John.

Excellent service, diverse menu and great overall experience! Stopped in on a Saturday night during a trip to Saint John with my partner who is not at all vegetarian or adventurous with his diet. Our server, Steve gave us awesome suggestions and was super friendly. I had the vegan donair and my partner had the vegetarian poutine, we were both so happy with our meals! We split the carrot cake for dessert which was amazing. I definitely recommend stopping in to give it a try.

Fast service and friendly staff. Although I am not a vegetarian the burger was very good and the smoked sweet potato fries are enough for a return visit.

Our absolutely fav spot in Saint John, great personalized veg/vegan food, their home made salad dressings and dipping sauces are fantastic and the team are very helpful and friendly, our home away from home for meals!

Im an omnivore, but I enjoy eating at Vegolution. The food is just that fantastic. One of the best restaurants in Saint John. My waitress Stacy also made my evening, knowing that I was new to the area and the restaurant, she made sure that I knew what I was ordering. And afterwards, checked on me to make sure everything was perfect. It was and I will be coming back for more :)

The food there is delicious. Today I tried the carrots, mac and broc and battered tofu burger. My palates happy, service was great and Im sure the animals and planet are thanking us for our kindness. Keep up the delicious creations!

The Food is amazing! The atmosphere is relaxed. And the Staff are superheros. If you eat here youll wish all vegan experiences were like this and never go back to meat.

Tried the vegan Donair wrap with fries, it was really good. Wish I was around long enough to try other things. Only parking I saw was street parking a block away. The street the restaurant is in was pretty full

Really great place, a recommendation for anyone searching vegan food. Everyone is friendly and the food comes quickly. Definitely try the Poutine as a starter!

Its such a shame the owners cant take criticism because this place has such potential. The food is only so so compared to the excellent choices in Hali and other cities. I gave it another several chances as recommend by the owner but Im always so disappointed.

I was looking for a restaurant for my 1 year old and I to eat supper and went to Vegolution after someone recommended it. I ordered their veggie burger. It was by far the best veggie burger Ive ever had and the service was absolutely amazing! Everyone was sweet to my daughter. Thanks for such a positive and fun experience!

Ive been a meat lover my whole life, and have only been trying vegan for the past week. We decided to try Vegolution to inspire me, and they did NOT disappoint! Tried the vegan nachos and cheese, the poutine with tofu curds, the vegan donair, and vegetarian version of their burger. The nachos were ok, the sauce was more like a thick soup kind of like a potato puree but still good. The poutine was very good the fries are AMAZING. Im super picky and Im telling you these are the best fries in town, cooked in non GMO canola oil. I never would have known the tofu curds were not cheese, so good. The donair was tasty, but oh my oh my that burger! It was amazing! The bun is toasted to perfection, delicious sauces and you would never know it wasnt a beef patty. My boyfriend was shocked, honestly one of the best if not THE best burger in Saint John. The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly, patient and very knowledgeable. They are pationate about their food. The restaurant is beautiful, and I love how they are environmentally concious. We will be going back and spreading the word!

As a life long meat eater the veggie burger here opened my eyes to a whole new world of flavor! Service was quick and the waiter was friendly. The only thing I didnt like was the lemon water, but thats just coming from a poor sj boy.

I went for the first time today! Their veggie burger is seriously INCREDIBLE! it was so tasty! the environment is super cute and the workers are very welcoming and very nice! I will definitely be going back :)

Absolutely amazing a must go

Was looking for some place for vegetarian/vegan eats in Saint John & happily happened upon Vegolution. Food was all really delicious, decor is eclectic, funky & interesting, kitchen & wait staff were all super-friendly and attentive, even though the place was full. Smoked sweet potato fries (which we shared as an app) were amazing - the smoking gives a whole new dimension to one of my favourite sides. We had the veg/tofu curry & wild rhubarb salad - both very tasty. A beet/carrot cake for dessert was really yummy, the beets providing an interesting twist to the usual carrot cake. I m a foodie & quite a good cook so I tend to be somewhat critical of restaurant meals that aren t as good or better than I can make myself :) This place deserves a visit for sure and I ll be back.

Oh lawd hath mercy on your tastebuds

We took our family for an outing last week to St. John for the day. We had big plans and all those plans fell through. We went to get sushi but everything was closed or takeout only. My wife, who is vegan, suggested we go to Vegolution. Begrudgingly, my father in law and I agreed to go. We sat down, nice decor. My 3 year old and newborn were as welcome as we were, which, as a chef I know isn t always the case. Kids can be nuts but ours are very well behaved. Anyhow.. I ordered Sticky Soy bites as an app and the burger as an entree. So did my father in law. My wife ordered sweet fries and bruschetta. First things first... sticky soy bites... incredible. One of the tastiest things I ve ever eaten, the chef was even kind enough to tell me some of the ingredients in the sauce. The burger was mind blowing. Absolutely on point. Then the bruschetta... oh man... so good. Strawberry balsamic reduction and vegan parm as well. Service was 10/10. Food was 11/10. I really wish they were based in Moncton. Maybe one day. To cap this review off I would like to say that I m not vegetarian or vegan. I really liked meat but this place left me satisfied for hours after and still dreaming of the sticky soy bites. 12/10 stars. Highly recommend.

Their take on classic dishes like Poutine are interesting to say the least, with shaved mushroom chips and deep fried cheese curds (if you dont want to go full vegan). I enjoyed my meal, the staff was extremely friendly and good mannered. The location itself has a great ambiance and decor. Would def recommend this spot to anyone who wants to try something new and fresh.

The best veggie burger Ive had in the city!

Fresh ingredients, amazing staff and food that wows is what makes vegolution a must stop. If you arent getting the KFT (Kentucky fried tofu) on Wednesdays at lunch, you a damn fool! Its better than kfc and I always feel good about eating one because its far healthier than actual kfc.

The food was deffinately in some of the best Ive had in the 8 years that Ive been vegan. The amazing service was out of this world and unlike any Ive experienced before. Would deffinately reccomend.

Flavorful, beautifully presented, inexpensive (compared to our location, at least). We had the grilled tofu, vege burger, and Santa Fe salad... would definitely stop when we pass through St John again.

Amazing, incredible, delicious, good service...my kids loved the burger. Specials are fairly priced and are delicious. My 10 years old son told me this is a 5 stars place! And really deserves 6.

Went uptown to finally try VEGolution. We are AMAZED. The atmosphere, staff, location, beer, decor and the food (OMG, the FOOD) makes this my new favourite eatery. We were recommended the Vegan Nacho Cheese & Chips and they did not disappoint. The Fake Steak was a perfect texture, taste and the hot sauce *drooooool* all the delicious eats were omni Husband approved. Having Jaret as our server was the cherry on top to make this a perfect restaurant experience. He was informative, knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming. Will definately be back!

Found it by Googling Saint John Vegan. Most items are vegetarian but vegan options available. They also offer gluten free fare. Jaret was a super attentive server. I had vegetarian bruschetta and my partner opted for tomato soup and vegan nachos. Both were excellent. Menu changes often.

Great dining experience! We had the poutine as an appetizer and the tofu curry and cheeseburger as entrees. Everything was fresh, hot and flavourful. Were not vegetarians, but value quality food and Vegolution did not disappoint.We would definitely eat here again. The service was also great. Everyone was extremely friendly.
