Very basic dive bar. Didn't eat or drink , just popped un.
This used to be a lit place for dancing. Went out last Saturday with few of my friends and it was pretty dead. Prices for the drinks are great tho!

broke a kids head offa stop sign after he tried to attack me with 4 people bladed. Came out faded 3 of them and lil timmy had to waddle to the back room to go get screws in his head. Defended against 4 attackers and whooped em would need better opposition. 3 out of 5 gas station talon blades. Hope timmy enjoyed the ICU
Loved this place. Came in on a cruise ship and wanted to just hang and have a few beers. Has a pool table and dance floor. Bar Tender was very friendly despite being a Red Sox fan in Canada.. hahaha
When we went they definitely needed to update their look and have new chairs but they have a great view of Theodore.
Only established this year the bar had a certain charm about it. Sports TV, games room and a good array of drinks. The bar-girl was absolutely charming and helpful. I wish you well in your venture. Food was available but I never saw what it was like.
Best beer prices in the uptown area. Friendly staff in an 18-sumpin' building with limited refinishing (I like this). Dark, scented, and comfy. Will revisit for sure. No food. Sports reign supreme!

Very boring. No service. And only plays tragically hip apparently. I will never go back. Horrible.
Me and my friends Where told 5 times within being there only 10 minutes and 12:15 that they closed in 45 minutes, we had a beer played a game of pool and left, all within under 25 minutes, I Will Not be returning to this bar as I can read online and in person when the bar closes I do Not need the bartenders telling me 5/6 times within a span of 10 minutes that the bar closes in 45 minutes! To the point where it made me and my friends feel rushed and pushed out the door to leave! -10 for over all everything!
One of my favorite bars to go to good spot, really good spot friendly staff definitely recommend going to check this place out

You have to wait long in a que I think just because of the covid but it takes a lot longer to enter in a pub if it is a que. Drink and interior are ok ok.

Got the lobster roll, was not great, its just lobster with mayo on a bun.
We bought their lobster rolls, taste was so so, not really fresh, only had salty taste.

Experience as a band playing here was good.
Was a great little bar with great seafood at a very good price. The bartender as well as most people in St. Johns are extremely friendly. Id move there !
the put on great shows through the week. although on the weekends unless you like an older crowed and dated entertainment its best avoided.
Callahans pub is the real deal. Great local pub that wont care what rating I give it. Old pool table with a ball missing...asked the bar maid for another ball and she asked which one was missing (obviously happens often lol, she gave us a 1 ball with #7 written in black marker on it and that was the missing ball!!!) About 50 Canadian and American Navy ball caps over the bar. Impressive collection. A ton of historical baseball, football and boxing photos, some signed. Duct tape in several places on the carpet seams exactly where Duct tape should be on the carpet of a local old bar. Great deal on a pitcher of draught. I loved it. 5/5 Very close to the Carnival Cruise drop off. Props to Saint John Ale House for telling us about where to find a pool table by going to Callahans
