Superb discovery! The ciders are really good, the place is super nice and the staff is super welcoming. We feel that they are passionate about what they do. Perfect for having a good time with friends or family. I will come back, for sure!

Our group of 12 were amazed by the beauty of the dining room with its large windows overlooking the orchard. What can I say about the food, magical!!! The service was more than satisfactory. We tried to organize our company Christmas party at Cidrerie Lacroix, but the experience was disappointing. Initially in contact with an employee, he left the company without any follow-up being carried out. After relaunching the cider house, a second employee took charge of our file, but he also left his position, once again without transfer or follow-up. Management assured us that rigorous monitoring would be carried out from this point on, but this was not respected. Despite several emails sent without response and a phone call during which an employee promised that general management would contact us again, we received no response. Given this experience marked by a lack of professionalism and reliability, I do not recommend this establishment for the organization of corporate events.

I organized a Baby Shower at Cidrerie Lacroix and the whole group enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the excellent service.

The food was excellent, the Chili was delicious, what can we say about tasting the 4 ciders on a mini plate. The service was very good, smiling waitress but the wait for our main course was endless. The site is very beautiful and very clean, the shop is great, go there, you will have a great day :)

La Cidrerie Lacroix is our favorite place for my partner and I to enjoy the apple season. We love enjoying the orchards and picking, and we always make a detour to the bistro and boutique. The staff are incredibly friendly, always cheerful and courteous, and the products are of immense quality.

Apple picking... not much choice Once we arrived on site with the tractor we were warned without greeting that we could be thrown out because we had brought the timbits for our gang and especially the children.

We were a group of 19 today for brunch at 9am. Everything was delicious and the employees were smiling. The minus star is for the following reason. When we arrived at the bistro, we waited at least 25 minutes before anyone came to see us. I still appreciated that they gave us 25 minutes more to eat but I would have liked an employee to come see me and at least tell us that it would take longer to prepare or whatever. We will still come back. Thanks for everything.

Very disappointed my family and I. There were 5 of us. This year will be our last visit to your establishment. Waitress at the restaurant Rosalie who was kind and quick in serving drinks/water. But an easy 35/45 minutes passed between taking our orders and being served. Cold, eggs not cooked enough for breakfast poutines, poor value for money. My son had a long blond hair in his plate of Benedictine...they didnt charge him for his plate at least! Very hard bread for club sandwiches....The 20lb bag of apples $28 + $4 access to the orchard!!!! Even though I had my Lacroix reusable bag from last year it didnt give me any discounts!!! the apple donuts from the small outdoor kiosk 3 for $6, no sugar or cinnamon and unfortunately overcooked and also in used oil. 35 minutes of waiting to receive our order of 3. Small bottle of rancid apple juice for $4, they exchanged us but very very disappointing experience considering the money spent....they no longer have pioneer cider although it was my favorite :( 2 fillings of my 1L reusable jugs cost me almost $30....

This is the 4th year that we have had our tradition of going to brunch/dinner at the cider house during the summer. Usually, we go earlier in the summer and thats what we should have done again this year... there were really too many people (apple picking) outside, so it wasnt possible to go sit quietly outside after our meal! The service as excellent as ever :) and the meal, again everything great except the soup which was tasteless and for $14 a bowl of soup, it was disappointing... we will come back next year but in July or the month of august !! Kid-friendliness: great for the childrens menu!

This is the second time weve had brunch at this place. The first time, we were delighted. This time, certain dishes were no longer available (even though it was before 2 p.m.), the yolks of the Benedictine eggs were too cut and the pancakes lacked flexibility (too toasted). Also, the music was too loud. We will return but outside peak apple season.

We went on a Monday to avoid the crowds because we have a 7 month old baby and it was perfect. The service was impeccable, the employees were helpful and smiling. The place is really well laid out, there is plenty of space to walk around and it was good with the stroller. Everything is well indicated and demarcated, no need to worry about anything. The only point to improve in my opinion is the farmhouse which is very small; there are only a few rabbits, goats and roosters. Otherwise, it is important to know that the restaurant and the fresh apple fritters are only available on weekends. We were therefore unable to taste it, but the delicious ice cider (offered for tasting) made up for this disappointment. Very pleasant experience and I highly recommend anyone, whether a couple or family outing, to go there. Thank you so much!

My family and I recently visited your farm, hoping for a pleasant experience to enjoy apple picking and try some of your apple ciders and wines. While we appreciated the friendly and helpful team that assisted us during the apple-picking, we unfortunately had a disappointing encounter with one of the staff in the gift shop. When we went to sample different ciders before purchasing, one of your employees was extremely unwelcoming and unpleasant. My father asked a simple question: What s the alcohol percentage? Instead of receiving a courteous response, the staff member appeared visibly annoyed and made no effort to understand him. Although accents can sometimes be challenging, as an English speaker, I can assure you he was asking the question clearly. While we enjoyed the final cider we tasted, the overall sense of hostility and what felt like racial bias made it difficult to continue with our purchase. Unfortunately, this one staff member s attitude completely ruined what had otherwise been a nice day for us.

Decent cuisine in a pleasant setting but unfortunately quite noisy place. The music is too much. We asked for a reduction but this was not done. Big disappointment for apple picking. Access to the orchard only by tractor, no possibility of walking freely. Customers are parked in a restricted plot of the orchard. Picking loses all its charm. Its a shame.

Pick-up: too expensive. $4/person (there were two of us) for access to the orchard plus $16/medium sized bag (small) for 15 apples. Big luxury in 20 minutes...

This year was the eighth consecutive year that I came to the Cidrerie Lacroix for picking. I always loved the place, I recommended it to everyone, but I find that the quality-price ratio has deteriorated. - Before, we paid for apples by weight when leaving the orchard. Now, you have to pay for them in advance, upon entering the site, and the price changes depending on the quantity desired (the less you take, the more expensive it is). Since you also have to pay entry ($4 per person), it cost us $36 for two adults and 20 lbs of apples. - I had already purchased my Lacroix reusable bag a few years ago (now they are mandatory and free) so I was able to use it, but everyone who brought their own bags was not able to use them. Free or not, these bags are not very durable (mine split when I put it in the car) and create unnecessary waste. Furthermore, they no longer seem to distribute Lacroix reusable cider cups. I brought my own, but the employee serving me didnt react when I mentioned it and served me in a disposable plastic cup. I find it a shame, because these changes are harmful to the environment. - The restaurant is very good, but it is always full, so we usually eat at the small stands. We love apple fritters. Unfortunately, the service is extremely slow, and the food very expensive ($10 a hot dog, $6 three donuts, $3 a grilled corn on the cob, $12 a small sweet potato poutine, etc.). Since it was too long, I ate my hot dog cold. I was disappointed, so I will look for an orchard with better value and better service for next year. A company with better prices, less traffic, and more ecological operation.

Nice place to pick apples. But, unsmiling and really unhelpful employees. Sometimes quite stupid even. Service is long everywhere. I waited more than 15 minutes at reception to buy my collection bag. At the outdoor restaurant, I waited 15 minutes to order and 40 minutes to receive. The wait is long due to the apple donuts. I was hoping the donuts would be worth the wait. Seriously, no. Worst apple donuts Ive ever eaten. We are served balls of hard fried foods dripping with oil, with mini pieces of apple inside. The poutine and grilled cheese were okay. I wont come back. $28 for a large bag of apples + $4 per person for entry. $4 for a mini bottle of apple juice of max 200 ml. I was expecting a larger format. The competitors next door sell their 2 liters of apple juice for $7. That doesnt make any sense of the price

We spent a wonderful day at the Lacroix cider house this weekend with a friend visiting Montreal. As soon as we arrived, the autumnal atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The cider is absolutely delicious and the apple picking was very relaxing and fruitful. We also took full advantage of the restaurant terrace, where the view and atmosphere were perfect. Special mention to our server, who was remarkably kind and attentive! An outing that I 100% recommend for a memorable day surrounded by nature.

Very nice decor, lack of choice for lunch. We wanted an egg and bacon but we were told it wasnt possible even though we had that choice on the childrens menu. Even when we wanted to pay extra we were told absolutely not...a bit of a strange approach, especially for new customers.

Good cider place. Prices are pretty decent. But if you care for a good service in general i strongly suggest going elsewhere. Brunch ends at 2pm, we had a reservation Saturday oct 5 at 2:30pm, we couldnt brunch. Our fault, it said it on the menu. But as soon as we got there, we were placed on a table of 6 next to the big terrasse door and there was constant wind from the huge door. Like a cold fan blowing on you constantly. We asked to be changed tables as 2 other tables of 6 were empty and we were told no and that it was reserved for the 5pm service (mind you it was 2:30pm). The hostess just looked at us making us understand theres not much she can do, despite half the restaurant being empty. We tried to switched tables and someone from our group asked again to switch tables. She said they will keep the terrasse door closed and waiters will use the back door. That wasnt respected either, they kept opening and closing it. The cider took 45 min to arrive. We were told from the beginning we had our table for 1:45h (meh..) because of the 5pm service (again). They forgot our main course and 2h later we asked about it, and they said they mixed it up and put it for the 5pm service. They put a rush on it... but yea. Theres a lack of workforce at it shows. Try maybe going at 5pm, maybe you will get a better service since we all sense an hyper fixation with that time service. Mind you the other tables of 6 remained empty the entire time we lunched. I feel like they hired very young people, that truly have no interest than just showing up. We wont go again. Too bad cause that place has so much potential.

Very disappointed $4 entry fee per adult in addition to buying the small size bag for $16 we waited 25 minutes to receive our overcooked donut..which tasted like oil we took the tractor and the driver decided to brake quickly so we were to shake all this to warn the children not to put their arms outside the cart then we were told before the pick-up that we cannot return to walking we are obliged to take the tractor for the return so what is the point of going for self-picking if we cant walk and enjoy nature as we wish for the return the prison in nature great!!!

Very disappointed in our apple picking experience at La Croix this year! We have been going for the past 4 years and usually love going there for the honey crisp apples. This year, there is now a fee for entering the orchard. Which to me, is an absolute robbery but we let it slide. Once we arrived at the orchard, there was no honey crisp apples left. There was a whole other section of honey crisp apples that was taped off where customers couldn t pick. They were saving those apples for future clients? What about the ones that paid that day and returned with the apples they didn t want. Super disappointed! We decided to go to Denis Charbonneau the following week and it was an amazing experience!!! Unlimited honey crisp trees, no entrance fee and the most amazing donuts we ve ever had. We will not be returning to La Croix ever again.

Super beautiful apple tree!! I loved it

It was our date for 5 years, I even proposed to my girlfriend here. Since this year, we have been mothering: no longer the right to bring our own bag, we have to choose from 3 formats, none of which really suits us. We are not allowed to walk quietly, we have to wait 10-15 minutes for the tractor to carry us and bring us back from the bottom of the almost empty field. The young African-Canadian girl waiting for the tractors was stupid and thought she was a Garda in a bank. No way to flatter the animals, they are now in cages up to the ceiling. That was the last time, the customer experience is terrible...and thats not to mention the entrance fees (?!), the prices of ever-increasing bags of apples and $10 hot dogs. ..Its laughing at the world...

We went to the tapas evening on Thursday evening. Excellent dishes but little choice. A few dishes were no longer available at 7:30 p.m. Several delicious and original ciders to taste. Very attentive service!

Decadent Macncheese, proof to back it up. Perfect place for a happy hour, ciders are $5 on Thursdays, great promotion that I hope will stay around for a long time :) the only negative point we had was the cuteness that accompanied the oysters. Big pepper and not very tasty, we would have preferred a more traditional mignonette with red wine vinegar and French shallots. The oysters disappointed us a little. Otherwise, everything was beyond our expectations.

We were 2, waited over an hour for our food at the resto, had to say we were leaving in 5 minutes if our food didn t arrive! We got served after a few minutes. Pulled pork was dry and cold, tasteless. We bought a large bag of apples for $30, our only favorite, Cortland apple. When we got home, none of the apples were Cortland. We bought at their stand, didn t go the orchard. Apples were clearly marked Cortland, but they were not Cortland. Believe me, we know our Cortland. All together, a very disappointing experience

We went to the cider house with our little girls aged 3 and 4. They loved the tractor ride. The outdoor relaxation area is very good. I love their cider, it is excellent!!

I went there with my little family twice this summer! The bistro is delicious. My children loved the tractor rides, being able to climb ladders safely and the play areas. I recommend!

Good morning, Several times we come to the orchards with our children and family the spot is magnificent. The food is great too. A little disappointed this time though. The waiter, after clearing our table, did not come back to see us. We waited and finally went to get it. He came back to tell us that unfortunately it was too late to be able to have dessert... For us, donuts with caramel are a must there; we would have liked to have been warned that dessert would not be possible. Usually restaurants warn in advance saying that if we want dessert we will have to order now otherwise it will be too late.

Thursday August 29, accompanied by my partner and 2 friends, I discovered the Bistros cuisine. From the aperitif (mocktail spritz) to the dessert (the Caramel Apple Decadent), everything was more than delicious. We had outstanding service from the waitress. 5 stars without any hesitation. If you are looking for gift ideas, for yourself or for others, take some time to visit the store; it offers lots of beautiful products. We will definitely go back there.

This was our first experience at this restaurant and we had excellent service by the server Xavier. We were sitting on the terrace, he made sure to offer us blankets and installed a patio heater nearby given the cooling temperature. The food was excellent and the cider delicious.

I bought an apple pie with sugar as well as beans with maple syrup. (September 2, 2024) Apple and sugar tart 5/5 Beans: 0/5. The beans were undercooked. They were crunchy! The taste of the sauce was strong and frankly I didnt like the sweet salty taste. I threw away the contents. $10 for oil changes.

This is the 3rd and/or 4th consecutive year that we have been to your home and everything is perfect.

I went to the Lacroix cider house on Monday September 2. We reserved for 12 p.m., we were served at 1:10 p.m. (1h10 to have two dishes). The chicken health bowl was not worth the price. Very little chicken in it. We paid $20 to pick in the orchard for a 10lb bag, we realize that we do not have access to the trees with the ripe apples but only to 2 avenues of trees with clearly not ready apples. Big disappointment!

When I arrived with my mother, I brought food to the Lacroix restaurant only to be poorly received by the young lady at the entrance who took us directly to the corner of the terrace at the small table which was the only one where the sun was sinking. We start by ordering drinks once our waitress arrives, a black coffee and one of the Jasmine drinks as well as a fries. After waiting normally for our drinks the young woman at the entrance (bus girl) brown hair, brown eyes sends another confused waitress to our table with a drink that we didnt even order my mother told me that she saw this young girl orchestrating her stunt... 56 minutes later the fries arrived and now our waitress came back to be available for us... Honestly not recommended for a family outing not for adults 1 star service for a 1 star place we were mentioned that since our order was fries we were served last but I had a full load of coffee after all this shit... So lets see no standards no values

Our dinner was purchased through Tuango. When we tried to order what was advertised in Tuango, we were told the menu had changed so we could not order our favourite item. We ordered their replacement item but were not told that it was more expensive. We were also not told that coffee was not included. Overall, not satisfied and probably will not return.

In the middle of apple season, I offer you this bistro in the heart of the orchards of the Laurentides region in Joseph-du-Lac. It s a real discovery in an airy and bright setting. The food is excellent with local products. It is possible to go for apples or stop at the store.

We had reserved at 12:30 p.m. and as soon as we arrived we were told that we had 1h15 to eat. The time to be served and eat our time was already up. We werent able to have desserts or coffee because we were almost thrown out to prepare for a wedding... even if the meal was good, its still disappointing to have to hurry. While we were waiting inside with our baby several employees asked us if we needed help, as if we were in the way. It would have been nice to at least warn on the website that there was a wedding!

A huge thank you to the cider house team! We celebrated my babys birthday there as a family two years in a row, and each time it was absolutely perfect. The outdoor venue is beautiful and inviting, with the perfect playground for children (ages 2 to 9), the very large dining room perfect for a group of 20, and the super welcoming and professional staff. Truly perfect!

Attended a retirement party in June 2024. Terrible food. The salad, not enough dressing. The accras the sauce is much too spicy, the accras no longer taste anything. I have rarely seen a gray and super tough steak, not to mention the frozen and overcooked miniature popcorn shrimp. For my part, when I arrived, I mentioned to the staff that I had stomach surgery which prevented me from eating a full meal. For not even half the salad, I was charged $40. No coffee or dessert. It is certain that I will never recommend your restaurant.

Worst service I have ever had. We threw my mother a 60th birthday party. We arrived at 6:45 p.m. and at 9:15 p.m. we were still not served. In addition, when we received our plates the group of 20 were not served at the same time. I got up twice to ask for music and dim the lights to set the mood. Honestly, Im really disappointed. Its tough.

We were a group of 18 to celebrate my partners birthday. The site is magnificent, unfortunately we had a very bad experience. We received our dishes 2 hours after our arrival, no explanation or apology from the manager who seemed to not really care about customer service. Very ordinary food, especially the land and sea plate with a small shrimp. Very unfortunate but this is the last time we go to this orchard. Obviously customer service is not part of their culture.

I had the pancakes, which were sublime, and my wife (Breton) had what she said was not a Breton pancake at all, but nonetheless delicious. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, we were very attentive! Bottom line: both the brunch and the service were better than the other. Vegetarian options: Although the vegetarian options are limited, they are excellent, and they vary from day to day, which should satisfy the most epicurean vegetarian among us.

We reserved our table at 12 and we came 5 mins early. We were assigned to a table outside. No server was helping us for more than 10 mins. No water no one to take care of us. My 60 years old mother tried to talk to a server and she basically ignored us. I had to go indoor to grab a server to express my displeasure. Then 5 mins later someone is serving us. Also there are not a lot of customers at that time. Half of the tables are empty. While we are eating. A lot of insects and affecting us. Showing the place has 0 attention to details. Very disappointed

They made sure no one missed anything. Before our wedding, Salif took all the time necessary to answer our questions and was extremely open to our special requests for the evening. We came here for a small, 2 person birthday dinner on Saturday (may 4th). When we arrived, there was a very large and loud group of people for a 60th birthday party (which is totally fair, but they were taking up a majority of the restaurant and were screaming to eachother across tables, we could barely hear eachother talk). We were sat in the corner of the restaurant, it took a long time for someone to come get our order, and took even longer to get our entrée. There was a couple that got there 30 minutes after us but got their food before we even got our entrée. When we finally got our entrée, it was brought to us by kitchen staff, who said the waitress would come by to explain the dish to us. So, we waited. 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 7 minutes... nothing. Nobody ever showed up to explain the charcuterie board to us. So we ate, not knowing what was what, and then had to keep waiting for a long time to get the rest of our food. The food was great, but we were there for over 2 hours and felt very neglected by the wait staff, who barely came in to check on us or ask if we wanted more drinks. So basically, good food, but disappointing service.

Very slow service, 20 minutes passed from the time the first and last plates were served to the table, there were 11 of us. The first plate was served more than 35 minutes after placing the order. The adult club sandwich was the same size as the half club for children. The reason we were given is that it depends on the size of the slices of bread... in short, I imagine that we had the last of the bread so the 6 slices that made up the 3 club sandwiches were small. I found this unacceptable for a $22 adult dish. Very beautiful environment! However, it was very noisy and we almost had to shout to hear ourselves speak.

I went to eat at your place twice recently around 11:30. I enjoyed the food and the waitress was very nice and smiling! Unfortunately at reception, when we are happy to arrive and we tell ourselves that we are going to have a good time, we wonder what we are doing there. The person who takes our name looks at us without smiling, almost looking angry, to the point where I wondered if I had done something to him! Both times I was treated to this anti-warm welcome! Fortunately shes not the one in charge of the service!

Extremely disappointing. We finish at intermiel (superb activity). We are looking for a restaurant and I come across the cider house. I try to book online, ok for 1330. However a credit card is required. Im less than 15 minutes away, I ask my wife to call while Im driving. We arrive with my pregnant wife and my young son and we come up against reception who asks us for our reservation, otherwise they cannot receive us. The restaurant is approximately at 50% capacity; I am able to book for 2 p.m. and contact reception. She doesnt want to hear anything and leaves. A second employee, somewhat more understanding than a child and a pregnant woman, must eat after 1330, but she is immediately joined by the other employee. Really disappointing this lack of maturity and judgment. I thank the happy Montreal restaurant for the good service afterwards. Please think twice before supporting the cider house.

Lunch was excellent! Eggs Benedict with salmon, to die for! Its hard not to be tempted by the store. I bought a delicious apple caramel and sangria.

We highly recommend the brunch at the Lacroix cider house. We ate very well, the food offering is varied and the dishes are delicious. We were accompanied by a two and a half year old child and our experience was impeccable: menu adapted for children, colored pencils and outdoor play module. We had a great time. Plus, the space is bright and beautiful. Congratulations to the team!
