Best pizza in montreal! And reasonable prices and everything on the menu is good! If youre a truly pizza lover,I promise you that this has to be one of the best. Its a quaint neighborhood restaurant where yiyng and old congregate. Great way to celebrate afteru church lunch. I been coming here for 30 years,so dont let the odd negative visitor influence you. Sure mistakes happen,but only ignorant people judge after one visit.

Very good portion and very good taste

Hands down this place is a gem. The pizza was delicious and the submarines are some of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend this cute and quaint diner.

Customers for over 40 years. Since the sale of the restaurant, the healthiness really leaves something to be desired. AVOID toilets, they are unsanitary. The ceiling tiles present an obvious roofing problem. The dining room carpet sticks under our feet. Finish for us.

It was my first time visiting Mamma s pizzeria, and I love it, pizza is very well stuffed, pepperoni is thick cut, you can feel the ingredients quality. Definitely will visit back again.

They went from the best to mediocre. Something changed with their pizza recipe and/or cooks making the pizzas. The last few times have been bad and for my colleagues at work too. Well never order here again. To avoid.

Best pizza in Canada

Was looking for an authentic montreal style pizza and was not pleased. First got wrong pizza, tasted like a grocery store pizza made with canned meat and bologna. And crust tastes a day old. Second the prices where extremely high for what you get. Thought I was dining out in Toronto with the prices surprised we werent charged for the water that came in large shot glasses. Would never go back and would not recommend to anybody

Pizza was pretty good, no complaints. Service was bad. Waitress gave the wrong change $ back (pocketing extra tips), and insisted on the customers mistake and on saying its a misunderstanding. It was our 3rd visit there. Owners sided with the waitress. Sadly, shes probably doing that with other customers too.

Great neighborhood resto in Ville Saint Laurent. Been ordering from there for years. Went recently for a sit down lunch with friends. Ordered the pizza and a smoked meat sandwich. Both were really good. Even tried a slice of their meat lovers pizza, which was heavy but tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. They do delicious subs as well. A must if youre in the area.

The burger was absolutely disgusting. Mini flavorless pancake between two buns that are much too huge, a horror. On the other hand, the pizza was good but lacked sauce.

The waiter asked for 15% tip , claiming that I have to pay it obligatory by law of quebec ! My last information that we give what we can and what we want.. I!!! I add 10.00 tip on a 90.00 bill but the waitress wanted to charge 15% tip on the total including taxes which is also wrong ! When I asked to call the police she backed off claiming she will pay the difference from her pocket ! Very poor service and dishonest way to add tip to taxes !! Beware customers ..!! we are not going this place again ! It seems the change of ownership has brought this place to a different level much lower than what it used to be !

Worst service ever. Food delivered cold. They lied a lot. I ask for no salad and to replace with extra fries. No fries and the answer. They speak to the cook in person. Not the first time this has happened. One too many. Will never order from this restaurant ever again.

The pizza is good. On the other hand, the website announces prices and ultimately we pay more. In addition, the deliveryman did not accept my tip considering it too low. Weird experience!

Catered our office party oh so long ago and their pizzas are the best we have ever had! As soon as restrictions are lifted, this is definitely our go-to resto!

Mama s is a great restaurant with a lot of variety to choose from. Everything we ate was delivered hot and tasty with reasonable prices. We always stop by Mama s when we re in St.Laurent.

Ordered cheese pizza and onion rings a week ago from the St Laurent location. Both were outstanding! Ive ordered from here before but it was just ok. Maybe the ingredients have changed. Ill be ordering again soon. Keep doing what youre doing!

I love this restaurant, a lot of sitting inside, nice and polite staff. Affordable pricing, good food..I had the London Steak, it was perfectly cooked, the side of rice was good too, the salad..just alright, overall great experience! Recommended!

Mamas restaurant is not the same as it was 4 years ago. Everything changed once the restaurant was sold. Where is the famous Greek restaurant Mammas.... Apparently the menu is the same, but the taste of the dishes is like in cheep fast food. The price of the menu is invented in front of peoples eyes. Its rubbish on the plates. Plus, after having dinner there I have a stomach ache. So disappointed with our family experience. But, over time (just 4 years) this restaurant had a reputation.

I had been to this restaurant many times prior to Covid. My past experiences were that the food was average to good. The pizza was their best thing on the menu. Well I went back last Sunday at around 5 pm or so. with company. We ordered a medium pizza, half vegetarian and half with meat. Ive had vegetarian pizza many times and this was the first time I couldnt taste anything. It was so bland. There was sufficient mozzarella cheese and the vegetables but something was missing. Then I realized on the 2nd piece that there was no pizza sauce!! The waitress came over to check on us and I mentioned that there was no pizza sauce. She rephrased it as not enough. No. I corrected her. NO pizza sauce,! How could they forget the sauce? She said shed mentionit to her manager,. The person I was with said to let it go. I did but I will Never go back there again. I dont know how they survive as a pizzeria.

Had a sub and all I have to say is that it had barely any flavour

Called for a pick up. I was already out and wanted to pick something up on the way home. I didnt have a menu so I just called with my order. I ordered 2 subs, an onion ring and 2 cokes. When I went to pay I almost fell on my face. $55!!!! Insane. I get pricing has gone up in a lot of places but thats ridiculous. The subs were not even full and it was just ok. Will definetly not be returning there.

Loyal customer for over 20 years but lately its the 3rd time that it takes more then an hour for delivery, and pizza cold. Today i finally called, after an hour, to complain, they start saying i placed order 30 min ago yet they forgot about the kitchen receipt stapled to the box, with time stamp. Unreal 3rd strike and try and make me believe i am crazy. ..order elsewhere!

My family and I have been ordering from Mammas for years until recently after order to pick up and waiting 45mins which is find given covid. Upon arrival the man at the front was on the phone deep in a personal discussion and after a while I ask the guys cooking if my pizza was ready and after verifying the order he said yes and place it on the counter to cash out. At this time the man was still on the phone, I then interrupt and asked if I can pay since the pizza is just sitting there. He got upset and and yelled at me if I cant see hes on the phone with a client. I responding that Im also a client and been waiting now 1hr. for pick up pizza. He rang in the order obviously very upset tossing my change on the counter. After checking my order in the car it was not the right order so I return and having to wait another 30mins for them to make another he then toss the pizza and fries on the counter without acknowledgement and no apology. from the short bald guy with glass The cooks however apologised. That was my last time. at Mammas Since than I found two other pizza places waay better for the same price.

Hands down one of the best pizza places in ville st. Laurent. I love their pizza, poutine and chicken sandwiches. If you want to support your local business that are family run, support mamas restaurant pizzeria!

Yesterday I ordered a veggie pizza for the first time, one of the best Ive eaten!

I ordered online pretty good but some choices are not. They should not dress the salad that comes with the dish you order b/c all was soggy which in turn made the fries and rice all soggy should put in a separate little container. Dessert are great.

It is a nice and cozy restaurant. The food is also tasty and portion sizes are also good. Service can be improved though. Also the desserts were served cold and in the container boxes itself

Waitress is not too friendly, she asked me if I was leaving yet shortly after I ate... very unprofessional this was pre-Covid.

I used to love that place pre-Covid but recently came back to order takeout and the lady was dry, almost rude. I dont mind the price increase but the least they could do is provide a friendly service.

I just came back from this restaurant with my wife,we ordered a hamburger and a cheeseburger, after eating my wife asked the waitress the blond one) to pack the rest to go. We come home and open the brown bag, no fries, no salads!!! After calling them back they lie and told we asked for only the hamburger to go. Poor service, liars, never go there again . Plus I gave the blond waitress 6.60 tip on 30$ bill!!

NOTHING SPECIAL FOR THE HIGH PRICES... I paid 19$ for an average tasting souvlaki and a soda can and a basic salad...... The portion size is small, really not worth the value, they need to either reduce their prices or give reasonable portions. Also, the souvlaki was burn and wasnt filled properly... what a disappointment, i live so close but wont be going back until they fix their resto portion/prices.

Most AMAZING food we have ever eaten. My husband and kids where so happy! The pizza was to die for,the souvlaki plates were so tender.The shrimps were so mouth watering.The portions were excellent. The staff is also super friendly!!! We definitely will be going back . Such a great place to have a nice dinner with your family!

Ordered hamburger with cheese, meat was very dry. I also asked for all dressed with pickles and coleslaw, instead I get pickles and coleslaw on the side with a $4.75 charge. 1st and last time we order from here.

Two years ago I gave this restaurant 5 stars.. Today I downgraded that to 1 Star and here is why June 5th 2020 I ordered two Extra Large pizzas *one all dressed and one pepperoni only, They made a mistake and gave me 2 all dressed. When I called they said that my next extra large pizza would be at no charge.. Although my Son could not enjoy his grandmothers birthday pizza due to their error and his allergies I found their offer acceptable Well today July 21,2020 I was in the area again and decided to take them up on my no charge pizza. and Guess What.. I got the old well the guy who made the offer is not in so 1st they refused . then they said ok they will apply a $15.00 credit to what us around a $25.00 pizza .. All this squabbling for a resolution that THEY MADE but REFUSE TO HONOR. My 94 year old mom and I likely dropped several thousand dollars with this restaurant and for $10.00 or so that they refuse to honor... I can tell you that they will NOT get a dime out me moving forward. The true way to ascertain a great business is how they deal with their customers when there us an issue. and this place FAILED !!!!

Cheese pizza was excellent

Pizza is super tasteful and very generous for the prize. The staff is also very friendly. Even when they are super busy, especially during this COVID situation, they are helpful and very quick to serve. A really great spot for pizza. In terms of price/quality, it really is hard to beat.
