Server too busy, slow service. 10 minute wait to pay the bill.

Our experience last night was not up to par compared to other previous years because it seems that it is no longer the same chef or at least the quality is no longer the same for a bill of +$600 Starter 1: soup (visually it wasnt appealing and taste-wise it wasnt great). Starter 2: Salde (letu leaves only? With no condiments). Course 1: Seafood and tuna paste (no flavor reminiscent of seafood, overcooked and dry tuna). Dish 2: Risotto (please review the recipe because no flavor emerges from the Dish) Course 3: White fish and sweet mashed potatoes (the fish had no taste) Dessert: chocolate crème brûlée? Never seen before. On the other hand, good mention for the teramisu and the ice cream. Positive note: the staff and waiters/smiles and professionalism. In conclusion: its a real shame to remove this restaurant from my favorite list because as a family we have had great memories in this place and having had good culinary experiences.

We ve been dining at Vino Rosso for over 15 years. The food is always delicious and service staff are friendly, anccomodating and efficient. They are a regular go to for us.

This restaurant never disappoints

Went to Vino Rosso for a team dinner and the selection of dishes was outstanding. Our meal consisted of sharing dishes and included all their menu highlights namely the lamb chops, stuffed pasta in a mushroom sauce, ceviche, calamari, gnocchi in a ragu cinghiale sauce, rapini, buratta salad, and especially their tiramisu for dessert. Some of the Finest Italian dining in the Montreal area. Highly recommended!

Called to get information regarding a large group (60-70 ppl) for dinner. Event planner wasn t available at the time. He tried calling back, but we kept missing eachother. Last time I called, the person who answered said he wasn t available and to call back later. I kindly asked when i can call back because we kept missing eachother s call and he rudely replied well you should of answered him an hour ago, he was available then, now he s not .

Our waiter David was awesome. He was helpful on our meal choices & wine selection. He was very attentive to our needs.

HOLY GRAIL alert. This is a fantastic Italian restaurant . We were a party of 4 and everything was delicious. The service from Brenden was excellent. The restaurant decor is a bit dated and if you are not looking for the restaurant you will miss it. It is usually busier at luncg. Dinner was nice and quiet even though the restaurant was half full

What a great experience we had at Vino Rosso! The service was impeccable, attentive and what can I say about the food! The waiter recommended an excellent white wine that would pair wonderfully with the dishes we ordered. There were three of us at the table and we started by sharing the starters of Mozzarella caprese and Polpo sulla griglia. It s been a long time since I ve eaten octopus so well prepared! The flavors were well balanced and it had the perfect texture. The fresh cheese melted in the mouth. We didnt even have time to take photos of the dishes as they were already devoured! We continued by sharing three of their different salads. The Stagionale salad tasted very refreshing with the fennel and pomegranate. You could taste the quality of the olive oil used. The Italian salad was a successful classic and the arugula salad was a great flavor combo. For the main course, I was tempted by the swordfish at the servers recommendation and I was more than delighted! It was the first time I tasted it and this white fish with firm and delicate flesh won me over! The cooking was exquisite. The accompanying vegetables were well matched and I was overjoyed by the little yellow, sweet beets that complimented the fish. We finished with a dessert of fresh cannolis and homemade pistachio ice cream. The crunch of the dough was enough to give you a thrill of pleasure! We left full and happy with a fabulous gastronomic experience in a relaxed and warm atmosphere! I highly recommend!

I wanted to like this restaurant because of the good reviews. However, considering their price point, I found the main dishes to be lacking in terms of creativity and taste. I am giving them points for their good service and the fact that I enjoyed their entrees. We had the polpette, fried clamari and salsiccia e rapini for entrees and I would definitely recommend those. I would have liked to see a more diverse supper table d hôte menu.

June 17, 2023 my family celebrated our parents 60th wedding anniversary at Vino Rosso. The high quality and delicious food was spectacular. I must say Veno , Franco and team works well together. They made sure we were all satisfied with the food and service. Very professional. We had a few picky eaters and they all enjoyed the food. The red wine was also fantastic. Looking forward to going back for dinner soon. On behalf of my family and I thank you for a memorable evening. Thank you Maria and Norma Melillo Parking: You can park across the street at the shopping center. Parking is free where you find it. Kid-friendliness: The have great kids meal and high chair. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the main floor.. not stairs perfect for someone with limited mobility or wheelchair.

Very disappointed. Ordered the most expensive dish which was rack of lamb which arrived in paper thin slices and the vegetables were good but lukewarm and the lamb over done even though med rare was requested. Price wise a ripoff. Waiter offered to replace the dish with something else but I declined and paid the bill without at least some sort of compensation. Because I couldn t get the waiter s attention as he was taking care of our group of 27 I began eating about a quarter of the plate before he arrived and then made him aware of the problem. Never have I experienced this before so a word of advice .. return your plate after only one bite if it doesn t feel right!

I took a few business colleagues out for lunch, got there at 1215, orders made by 1245. Mains got in at 145. It shouldnt take an hour long to get lunch. Time is money. I was going to give 3 star, but the employees were cool and the martini lychee was great. Maybe get there earlier than everyone else to get a 5 star experience (because there was a lot of people when I got in earlier than the rest of my table at 12).

Service was absolutely wonderful. The waiters were attentive, courteous and quick. Their attitude and cheerfulness was definitely the highlight of our dining experience that evening, though the competition wasnt exactly fierce, as you will see as you read the rest of this review. Food was barely acceptable for the price. I expected much more considering the glowing reviews and price tag, and Im not talking about the portions. Both my partner and my dish were lacking in depth and way, WAY over salted. None of the bright, aromatic and complex flavors Italian food is known for. At some point I began doubting the freshness of the clams in my pasta. Their Tiramisu was good though, thank god for that. Atmosphere was absolutely awful. There was some kind of party going on in the reception hall next door, and the loud music from the outdoors overlapped with the downright awful indoor music choice. Royalty free pop music covers in a restaurant that markets itself as an upscale authentic Italian restaurant? Really? Combined with the Uber Eats ringer going off every half minute, I was very close to just getting up and leaving. Disappointing.

Honestly five DM stars. Being a novice to restaurants, I was overwhelmed by the welcome, the culinary service and the good taste of the dish ordered to the point that I ordered a second dish to take away. Frankly, its worth the trip except that for the bill, be prepared. Bon appetit.

Party was in a small room, food was excellent and servers were kind for getting us drinks, non alcoholic and alcoholic too. Staff taken the vaccine passport portacals seriously. I find they treated us nicely. Excellent service.
