A Japanese Ramen restaurant, focus on home-made, organic, and non-MSG Tonkotsu broth Ramen. Also offer Vegan Ramen and side dishes.
The food was really really good. The ramen is amazing, the broth is really flavourful. However the service is slow. Highly recommend.
This will definitely be the last time I’m ordering from this place. I can not believe i ordered large tonkutsu soup and I get half filled small container of broth. After pouring into the noodles, it does not even cover the noodles. It’s supposed to be a noodle soup not a dry noodle with some sauce. Broth is not expensive. This place is too stingy.
This place serves delicious Raman in a rich soup base served in a delicate portion. We, two people, tried this place out by ordering two appetizers, two soups and two desserts and we both believed that we could still eat a little bit more.
This location is so much better from the Downtown location. Chashu was fatty and well charred. They have a summer menu and everyday 5@7 prices for beer and cocktails. Super friendly staff. Plenty of spots inside and parking lot is big. Would recommend!
Cozy little place with beautiful decorations. We tried 3 entrees: salmon sashimi: a bit salty and weird glazed texture. Tuna tataki: tasty and fresh Salmon tartare: delicious and crispy. Main dish: Kara age don: crisp to perfection Tonkotsu chashu original and spicy & Tonkotsu chicken spicy : very tasty and creamy ramen soup. Good experience overall for a rainy cold day. Free parking and wheelchair accessible.
Ordered the Kaisendon with tuna & salmon from their Koi Shokudo menu, it was delicious and tasted fresh. I also ordered the Kara age. The chicken was nice and crispy. Finished the meal with the mango cheese cake, which I liked because it wasn’t too sweet. Would definitely recommend this place :)
Love the interiors, very fresh and inviting. Service was friendly. Karage chicken was fabulous. Ramen was tasty, different from what I’ve tried before, but the broth was flavourful. I just did not appreciate being charged for garlic oil which I requested on the side.
We decided to try Tsukuyomi Ramen as part of the Mtl à Table event from November 3 to 19 because it offered an interesting 4-service menu. We were a big group and some of us took the event's menu to share the appetizers and some of us ordered from the regular menu. Even though I didn't order from the event's menu, I did get to try the Tuna Tataki, which was very nicely seared and had a delicious ponzu sauce, and the Ika-Age, which was fried perfectly and was very crispy. I also really enjoyed the cheesecake, both mango and green tea flavours were delicious. For the main course, I ordered the Miso Ramen Vegan, the broth was flavourful and I love that it came with the thicker noodles. Service was quick and friendly. Nicely decorated restaurant. We were very happy with our experience. Will happily return for some delicious ramen.
One of our new favorites. Definitely a must experience.
Delicious!
Nice place for ramen soup nearby
I like the tonkotsu reminds me of Isshin. Ramen portion a little small so get a side. Vegetarian options: Yes Parking: Its not in the condo complexe its in the shopping complexe just south of it. Kid-friendliness: This location is family friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
First time eating there. This by far was the best Ramen i ve had in a while
food was okay
Ramen is delicious and we always have a great experience when dining in the restaurant however the portions seem to be much smaller when ordering takeout for some reason.
Our new favourite Japanese restaurant for authentic ramen and tapas style appetizers.
Beautiful interior. Great value and quality service.
Very nice menu for Montréal à table 2024. Great discovery. Generous portions. Flawless
Amazing, really tasty chicken katsu, who would have thought I had this place to close to home. Will come back.
We ve been coming here since it opened, but unfortunately it s been downhill ever since. Bowls have gotten smaller (why so little broth?), prices have gone up, service has gotten really slow, and even the food has gotten worse (the broth is now watered down). Do not recommend.
BEST ramen place in Montréal!! Best than any other Tsukuyomi too! I love this place.
Shoutout to our waiter Jackie for the excellent service
The waitress got my order wrong. 3 tables at rush hour. My second dish was incomplete, tasteless broth. Do not recommend this so called rowing place.
Everything is perfect, the atmosphere is good, the employees are great, but it really wasnt good... The prices are outrageous too. The rice tastes like dishwater, the salmon tastes like smoked salmon from Costco, the chicken tastes like Kentucky chicken left on the counter for 24 hours and the pork is warm, soft and schinky... In short, the atmosphere is good, but the dishes were very mediocre... Maybe we were just unlucky and had the worst meals, but in short, worth checking out if youre looking for an affordable and delicious place.
Five stars all the way! The tonkotsu broth was incredibly rich and flavorful, and the karaage was perfectly crispy and delicious. A big shoutout to our server, Brandon, who made the experience even better with his friendly and attentive service. I highly recommend the Mero Mero drink it was the perfect refreshing complement to the meal. Definitely coming back!
Good service from my server Brandon. Would definitely recommend the tonkotsu broth and karaage.
Woaw! Definitely one of the best ramens i ve had in Montreal. Me and my friend ordered the gyozas and karaage to share and they each had a nice crisp to them. The tonkotsu chashu and miso ramen were also amazing. Shoutout to our waiter for making our experience more enjoyable! Brandon you marked my experience in this restaurant, Thank you!
Went by several times with different friends and the atmosphere has always been positive, service was nice and consistent and the servers do offer suggestions which is good in case you want something new to try. Appetizers and meal portion were descent for sharing or having it alone with meal. Will come back for more each time.
First time and amazing dishes. I had a few starters and ramen.. Everything great. I full recommend this place.
The best ramen restaurant
Bad quality-price for the dish ($18.95) of marinated salmon It lacked a lot of flavor, very ordinary as a dish..
I read many reviews before coming here. Its really hit or miss so I wanted to try for myself. I was there during a power outage last week. I had time to finish my meal before the power went out. I had the gyoza and the fried chicken as appetizers. They were the highlight of the meal cause the ramen really left to be desired. I would say prepackaged stuff from the chinese store is more savoury than what they serve here. The Tonkotsu original ramen was nothing particularly enjoyable. Service was courteous and prompt. But where I had a problem, was with payment. Credit cards couldnt be used because there was no power and my friend and I were 92 cents short in cash to just cover for our meal. And we were told... no, we need the dollar. In a world reliant on plastic for payment, I suppose the lesson is always carry cash: paper and coins! Needless to say, I will not return nor will I recommend for the reasons stated above. And yes, I was offered to make a personal e-transfer to a staff member?...which to me is not an actual proof or guaranty of payment. I wasnt going to transfer money directly to our waitress! We were by no means looking for a free meal but it is your responsability to rethink how you will offer to receive payment, legally, in such extra ordinary circumstances as a power outage.
Definitely one of the if not the best ramens in town, although still clearly not a 5 stars place, particularly due to the side dishes being disappointing in quality and/or size. Still definitely a good restaurant though.
Best ramen in West Island. Their shio ramen is clam based and out of this world. Their interior decorations has nods to banksy. Lots of parking spots
We love it!!! Our favorite ramen restaurant! And, what s more, the staff is super nice!
Amazing its so beautiful inside 5 star its almost 5 star the restaurant
Great place Impeccable service Exceptional food Breathtaking decor
Ramen ( original) that I ve picked was terrible. The soup was bad and the noodles themselves felt like they came ready made pre packaged , maybe worse. This is probably what Ramen would taste like if you ordered by a fast food chain like Tim Hortons and even then I think Tim Hortons would probably do a better job. Giving it a 2 because the water was good, the service was nice & the place looks okay
Love this ramen restaurant the atmosphere is nice and decorations are lovely . the tonkotsu broth was just perfect creamy and rich feel like we ate ramen in japan Thank you very much
A great discovery. Simply quick and delicious
Love this place. Always great!
I tried th Chashu Don. I wasnt really hungry but the food was better than I expected. The ambiance nice and cozy. Service a bit slow but overall a good dining experience. I will come back for sure.
Delicious ramen (amazing meet) and cool atmosphere
Good Ramen and feel very authentic
Spectacularrrrrrr
Great Ramen Shop. Service is fast and the food is amazing. Would definitely recommend
The service is very good and the environment is also good. It may not seem like much, but you will feel full after eating it. Recommend Takoyaki.
Authentic Japanese cuisine with incredible ramen, appetizers and drinks! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience real Japanese ramen. Also! Vegan options that are absolutely delicious Vegetarian options: Many! Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian options
The best Ramen north of Cremazie!!
I had the tonkutsu chashu black garlic and the miso ramen chashu. The bowl are not too small or too big, its a very fair portion. The place is extremely clean and the service was excellent. The ramen noodles are delicious, soft and they digest easily. They arent too heavy on the belly. The miso broth was absolutely perfect. A smooth rich creamy texture, I cannot recommend it enough. The black garlic ramen was also good but its missing the small kick that the miso brings. I also had the mango cheesecake which was very soft and pillowy. For the price and the quality of the food this restaurant is a must if you are a fan of ramens.
We live in the north and we travel exclusively just to eat their delicious cuisine! From the drink, to the entrance to Ramen we are happy to eat this cuisine which is both tasty and quality without processed products the atmosphere is pleasant and refined, moreover, what can we say about the incredibly kind staff, we feel at home Thank you so much for everything you do!!! Ps: think about coming and opening a franchise to the north *mirabel* hihihihi
Food took a bit longer than a few other places but it was really good, staff was accommodating and the tree decorations I side really brings life to the place
Beautifully decorated restaurant Suitable for couples. The ramen is delicious. The menu that has rice, I think the rice is dry and hard. Good service, not expensive. Parking: There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant Kid-friendliness: Many of the dishes are fried and not spicy
I like a Japanese restaurant where you can see the chef at work. This one does not have that. I had Ramen and it was good. The waiter made a mistake on our order. Nothing major. Will go back. Food
The restaurant is beautifull, and the ramen is both delicious and reasonably priced. The waitress was incredibly sweet, and before you leave, you absolutely must try the pumpkin Krokke its delicious!
The food is delicious, as you would expect from any Tsukuyomi location, and the service was great. The Kara Age was perfectly cooked and the ramen was flavorful without being too greasy. My only critic would be that it lacks some of the atmosphere of the other locations. If you are looking for a quieter place, thats great, but you wont get the feel of a buzzing ramen restaurant.
GREAT experience!!! :) I recommend this beautiful place and we will return back for sure. I went there for my birthday and they kindly offered me my dessert (matcha cheesecake). That was sooooo sweet!!! Thank you so much
Good food RIDICULOUSLY small portions. Noodles cost nothing guys
What a lovely surprise! A nice Japanese tapas like eatery in VSL. Ramen noodle portion was smaller than what I m used to but still good. Food
Finally a good restaurant in Bois Franc! Delicious especially on a cold winter day.
You will be disappointed if you have already been to Japan so I recommend that you refrain. Takoyakis, gyozas and don are unfortunately only pale copies of what can be found in ordinary restaurants in Japan. Moreover, the Takoyakis and gyozas seem to be frozen and industrial. The fried chicken is not bad but the one at 7Eleven in Japan is better. The ramen is okay but nothing more. Positive point, the restaurant is pretty and the staff is friendly.
My friend wanted me to experience ramen for the first time and brought me to this place. It became a must go every week. The karaage is delicious, and all the ramen are tasty.
2nd visit. Always delicious. Impeccable service. We really liked the decor and the atmosphere. G. Poncelet + 3 people.
A formidable contender to Yokato Yokabai on Saint Laurent! I find the restaurant to have more variety and offers dishes that really introduces new experience for your taste buds. Its Goma Salmon and Ika Age (deep-fried calamari) are to die for. The chef was very generous. The Goma Salmon dish is supposed to only come with four pieces of salmon but the chef gave us five pieces each and they were very delicious. The only thing that I would mention is that if you have small children eating this dish, be sure to cut the salmon into smaller pieces for them as the salmon pieces are soaked in sauces and they can become very slippery and can be a potential choking hazard especially for small children or anybody who have reflex issues. We took the original Chatsu Tonkotsu ramen noodles with pork. The noodles is silky smooth and all of the toppings especially the egg all taste exquisitely. They dont overwhelm your taste buds but they slowly immerses your taste buds in its rich flavours leaving you wanting for more. And dont be fooled by the bowl size. Its VERY filling. The Sakura and the Japanese painting in the decorations is just beautiful. Be sure to bring your camera and make sure its charged cuz you will be taking lots of photos.
Now that they finished the decor, it feels super cozy and welcoming. The ramen is mostly pork-broth and traditional. Everything we ve tried is great at both the Mile-End one and this one: Ramens, Karaage, donburi, takoyaki, dumplings - really tasty and affordable. Their seasonal drinks and happy hour are a good value too :)
very good experience! Good ramens for the price, the appetizers were really great too and amazing quality for the price! The decor is very nice and good ambiance!
Very tasty and impressive ramen. Overall a nice experience. Service was really good. I found the broth to be not as warm as I would have liked. Food
They just opened for take out/delivery apps (will open for dine in on March 27th). Other than getting the wrong order for one of the ramen, the food was good. The broth tastes great and creamy and it s not too heavy. The tofu and chashu was good, but the fried chicken was a little too salty. I m sure they ll get it right after they open officially.
It s fantastic
Very pleasant atmosphere and meal at the new Tsukuyomi restaurant in Ville St Laurent. Located at 5360 Henri-Bourassa west in Montreal. A place to enjoy excellent Ramen in good company. Very pleasant atmosphere and meal at the new Tsukuyomi restaurant in Ville St Laurent. Located at 5360 Henri-Bourassa West in Montreal. A place to enjoy excellent Ramen in good company.
My favorite Tonkotsu ramen restaurant in Montreal. The quality is there, just like at the Mile-End branch. Karaage and Takoyaki are my must-haves. Parking: Very large parking lot in front of the restaurant.
Great service, exceptional food. Everything was perfect!!!
Great service, all the staff are very friendly! And the food is excellent! We had Carpaccio as appetizer and I ended up ordered 2, it was very fresh and tasty! Great spot to chill after a long day, definitely will go back XD
Tsukuyomi Ramen has finally reached Bois Franc. The restaurant is super cozy and intimate. Staff is friendly and attentive. The broth is extremely creamy and delicious. By the way, this is in every Tsukuyomi Ramen restaurants. Go check it out!
We ordered a few side dishes and Chashu Tonkotsu Ramen. Its all so delicious. The best Ramen restaurant Ive ever been!
No exaggeration, this is the best Ramen in Montreal for me. The broth is creamy and delicious, and the kara age was one of the best I ve had. The flavor was spot on and it was extremely crunchy.
Portion size is way too small compared to other ramen places and i m not even a big eater by Asian standards.
Selection is good Staff is helpful and friendly Ramen was overall tasty but it wasnt hot enough. It was warm
Nice little spot in Bois Franc. Improvised service as just launched & busy. Tasty entrées & good ramen. Not sure why speed metal was sound track for an otherwise quaint room?
decent food, very small portions, nothing very good or very bad. decent service, honestly mid
Great service, staff is super friendly, food is great!
My friends and I had a very good meal here! The staff was friendly and the food and cocktails were tasty. The salmon/tuna don was 10/10
From the appetizers to the mains , yummy yummy in my tummy ! 5 stars
Really delicious ramen (chicken and pork)! Service a little slow but it was busy, so not a big surprise. The experience was definitely positive, we will return often for sure! Just under $100 for 4 with taxes and tips.
really good
Small portion! Average taste !
Amazing service, delicious food, cute decorations and the overall atmosphere was GREAT!! Vegetarian options: Vegan ramen is amazing and refreshing! Parking: Plenty of parking spots
Really happy Tsukuyomi ramen has open a new branch in VSL. One of the best ramen in MTL. Parking: Easy free parking Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly! They even do have some chairs for toddler
Simply delicious.
Food and service was great! Would recommend to anyone looking for good ramen!
Loved the vibes and aesthetic of the place. I had a few appetizers and a Kaisen-don, would come back to try their ramen!
Went to have dinner with my friends here on a Saturday night. I ve been to many ramen restaurants in Montreal and I have to say, this one is subpar. First of all, the decor is very plain and the ceiling is not finished. The place doesn t have a nice vibe. It has a cheap look. The service wasn t great. They gave us only 2 menus though we were 4 people. Also, there were utensils missing for 1 person. They served the appetizers (that are usually shared) without bringing any plates for each person. I know they just opened recently (maybe a month ago) so maybe they are still working things out. However, I was quite disappointed. I expected much more. Foodwise, the tonkotsu chasu ramen was very good. I really enjoyed the broth. It was rich and not too salty. I tried their special appetizer Buri Carpaccio. The presentation was beautiful. However, the yellow tail tuna was not fresh. I don t recommend it at all. The gyozas were ok. Nothing exceptional. The karaage, however, were excellent. Very crispy and tasty. The takoyaki were also a hit, crispy on the outside and soft inside. In all, this ramen place is not too bad for a suburb. Nevertheless, I think they still have a lot to work on if they want repeating customers.
Great service. Ramen was tasty and portions were reasonable. The kara age was a bit on the dry side for my taste.
Excellent ramen, best in town. Restaurants décoration is basic and soulless. Food
So good! Excellent service! The only thing is that my pork was a little dry, otherwise everything was delicious. I recommend!
We went after it opened in Saint Laurent in the Bois Franc area. I love their simple menu and their specials that they have on a separate menu. The best thing we tried was their eel bowl. OMG delish. I liked their ramen but as someone who doesnt eat pork I feel I missed out on the good stuff by ordering the vegetarian miso ramen. Their ingredients are good and the broth was good. I would love it if they could add sesame broth to their ramen menu like the kind I had in other Alberta. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian ramen options are plenty. Kid-friendliness: We saw families with kids
50 shades of mediocre. Ramen & apps were totally average. Similar to Kinton or any other mass produced chain ramen place. Would ve given 3 stars, the definition of average, except on top of being totally average food, it was totally below average service. Not knocking the waitstaff themselves, but 2 waiters for a restaurant that seats 80, on a Saturday night, is not acceptable. You could visibly see the frustration on customers faces as they waited to get served.
The ramen broth was light and nice but very small portion for the price. All the sides were average at best or disappointing. Its just ok.
Im glad a Ramen place of this quality has opened in saint-laurent. Most good places are downtown or plateau. The Ramen here is top tier. Broth is rich, not overly salty (no msg!!), and the piece of pork is nice. Looking forward to trying the spicy one. And service is excellent and our server (also the manager) is fantastic. Good job here! Tsukuyomi is going to be a big hit here. Gonna be a regular for sure.
Nicely decorated resto with plants and vases. Service was pretty quick. Ramen was tasty but smaller portion than other places. The 1$ takoyaki special (limited) was very good.
This restaurant has a beautiful environment, professional service, and very delicious ramen. It is worth recommending and I will come again!
Fantastic service, splendid food (ESPECIALLY the yellowtail carpaccio) and loved the ambiance and deco of this place! Highly recommend!
Everything you want from the location on Mile End, they have it here. What s special about this place is the extra menu. I highly recommend the yellow tail carpaccio. That was amazing. The staff is friendly as always. And the decor is very unique and nice to look at. I would come again.
Broth is an 8/10 for taste, noodles are 8/10, pork chashu meat is 7/10 (could be better grilled and firmer). So for taste I give it an 8/10 but 6/10 for quantity and I find it to be a small bowl. Half an egg? Come on guys, you can give us a full egg :) I have only taken out so will update review for service once I have eaten there.
Excellent ramen with the best broths you can find here in Montreal. A very wide variety of succulent starters! I recommend the chasu tonkotsu or miso ramen and also the salmon and takoyaki starters! Customer service is excellent too!
Best tonkotsu ramen I ve ever had! Very authentic and flavourful, always have cravings for their ramen. Tried so many ramen places and Tsukuyomi is the best so far!
Truly excellent. The broth is full of flavor.
Alright. Small portions but authentic broth/noodles and courteous service.
Tsukuyomi is a hidden gem of a ramen restaurant in Bois-Franc, Montreal. The authentic taste of their chashu tonkotsu ramen is exceptional. The rich, creamy broth and well cooked noodles create a well balanced ramen bowl. Moreover, the sides were great where the takoyaki was perfectly fried and the calamari was very tender. The service is friendly and knowledgeable, and the cozy atmosphere adds to the overall experience. Tsukuyomi is a must-visit for ramen enthusiasts seeking an authentic and satisfying meal.
Nice decor. Karaage was good. Wasabi Octopus was good! Salmon sashimi was not impressive. Tonkotsu Chashu was meh. Didn t feel like the stock was tasty enough. I ve had better. My boyfriend ordered the spicy one and he was disappointed that spicy meant a side dish of sriracha. For a total of 80$ including tips, we were not blown away. Not sure if we will be back soon.
Délicieux! The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite pleasant, and the ramen broth was rich in flavor. Its definitely the go-to restaurant in Saint-Laurent; nothing else can top it. I will be a returning customer for sure!
Super excited that Tsukuyomi opened another location in Bois-Franc. We tried out some items on their new menu and as always the food was delicious. I have tried many other ramen restaurants in Montreal and Toronto, I have to say that none of them compared to Tsukuyomi for their tonkotsu; the broth is simply to die for. Their marinated soft boil eggs are also the best; I always order an extra one. If you like tonkotsu ramen, you MUST try Tsukuyomi.
I am not a big fan of ramen compared to my partner but I must admit this is the best quality ramen I have ever eaten. The charsiu and egg were well marinated which we think other ramen restaurants lack. It is more on the expensive side compared to the quantity you get but the quality explains for it. The aburi eel was so tender and delicious. We wished the tamago were sweeter than what we received. The server was really nice and the ambience felt comfy to eat at.
Excellent restaurant. I am so happy that tsukuyomi has added another location in Montréal. The quality of the broth and ramen is as excellent as always and is complemented by a new test menu. We had the chance to try the items on the test menu and the presentation and flavour was fantastic. I must also say that the service was very good. My girlfriend has crippling social anxiety that sometimes makes going to restaurants difficult. The wait staff were very accommodating to her many requests and made our dining experience amazing. 10/10 would visit again.
No option of thick noodles, only thin ones. At least I was not asked what type of noodles I want in the ramen. Quality of ramen is very average. Not worth the price imo.
A Japanese ramen restaurant in the bois-franc commercial area. Very nice location and parking nearby. Service is a bit long but expected since they ve just opened. Food is good but wished their portion would be a tad bigger. Appetizer was nicely presented but taste alright.
very friendly staff, and the portions are just right; not too large, and just enough to satisfy the craving.
Taste were okay. The portion was small and I left there still feeling hungry.
The food is very authentic and delicious. The service is great and the staff are very nice and patient. 10/10 would recommend if you are craving some ramen in Bois-Franc
Great ramen and great service!
Spacious and airy restaurant within a new residential condo/townhouse project. The staff were smiley and nice. Unfortunately the ramen itself was under par - the soup was lukewarm with blunt taste and noodle tasted like pasta instead of ramen. There was no line up like the one in Mile End which is a plus. Im sorry, management, but I wish you would stop calling this authentic
Ramen was good. Kinda gentle even. I needed a good punch that mark me so I can keep coming back. It didnt had that but its ok.
Finally a ramen in the Bois-Franc area! They have a special menu available right at this location, so take advantage! The tuna carpaccio was excellent and this is my recommendation for you. The bowl of unagi I liked less (very heavy), so if I come back, I will have something fresher and lighter. The service was very good, I was able to speak to the manager regarding some things to improve on the menu and he was very receptive to feedback!
As good as the Mile End branch! Really happy with this new address!
What a joy to discover a ramen restaurant near us, especially since the dishes are so tasty and delicious! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant and the service is fast and exemplary! Dont hesitate for a second to visit the place or simply order one of their dishes to enjoy in the comfort of your home! You will not be disappointed
The ramen is incredibly excellent, the employees are very nice, the service is fast, 100% would recommend
It s very rare that I rate this high but it was really good! ps Im about my 30th ramen and pho soup restaurant and this one has just taken first place, creamy broth and taste, al dente noodles to perfection, the egg is slightly sweet I had the chicken miso soup
Im not a fan of ramen noodles, but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of their dishes.
Service was impeccable. Ambiance is hip and airy. The Gyoza was perfectly crispy on the outside and moist and delicious on the inside. The Tokkoshu Chashu was rich and slurpy just the way it s supposed to be but its Pricey especially considering how small the bowls are. Maybe its a sign of the times, but I felt hungry
Exceptional food. Impeccable service. Affordable price. New favorite restaurant. Recommended for everyone.
Nice place, good food and good staff! Unfortunately, there was no sake left on tap... But the manager offered us free Takoyakis for the inconvenience Sayonara!
Excellent Ramen, delicious takoyaki, a restaurant worth the detour!!!
Good service.
Very impressed with the service and kindness of our server during our visit. The place is very clean. I would reduce the air conditioning which is very strong, apart from that, I really recommend the place for a great experience in a charming restaurant with tasty dishes! Friday evening visit July 28, 2023
Not big portion of ramen soup base tastes just average
I loved it! The salmon and ramen uff delicious =) Vegetarian options: I got the veggie ramen and the flavor was 10/10 filled with veggies no animal products Food : 5/5 |
Great service, the meal was excellent. Wow!
We ordered fried chicken, fried calamari, cold chicken sesame oil ramen and traditional ramen. Everything was delicious. Not too salty, and just enough flavor to hit the spot. I dont know how to describe it, but the flavors, textures and cook just felt right. Highly recommended.
Good food portion was a bit off but very good Very esthetic Food
Ohhhh my tasty.
It s more of a 4.5 rating for me, as I wish they had just a little more variety of tonkotsu ramens. But the one they have is pretty good.
Very good time the ramen was delicious the sake also good will come back
Very disappointed Close on weekends and they dont answer when we call when they are closed
They extended their closed time from September 11th to 26th without any warning. Doesnt even appear closed on Google maps.
Great authentic Japanese ramen and side dishes to share. The Tonkotsu ramen (porc) is my all time favourite.
***update 9-27-2023, before I drive can you confirm your open? As you don t answer the phone! It would be nice if you acknowledge this review and post a response******* Hello it wouldn t kill you to update your Google page. Are you open ? Closed for renovations? Closed for holidays? Also on your answering machine you should say something that your closed , I m sure you can afford to do that, it s not nice to your clients. I believe you wouldn t want it to done to you. Also your other location should have a clue if your open.
I ate in order: Takoyaki, a Chashu Tonkotsu ramen, drank a Matcha and then ate a mango cheesecake. They were all delicious. Very pretty restaurant and nice staff as well. There weren t a lot of people when I went as I arrived relatively early, so, I got easy access to the staff.
A new Tsukuyomi just opened in ville Saint Laurent area. Ive been to the one on Saint Laurent Street for many years. I am very happy with this new location that is 15 mins away from my house. The dining area is a lot spacious compared to the other one with a lot more seatings. They also have a parking lot. The decor inside is aesthetic. Service is quite fast. We had chicken karaage, the kids didnt like the one from here. They put too much black pepper in the chicken batter, which the kids find it spicy. The salmon sashimi was ok. Nice cut, but the sauce was missing a punch to it to be worth 9$ for 4 slice of fish. I always ordered the spicy pork ramen. The miso spicy paste is umami. Its not very spicy, but it gives the broth extra flavour. The paste is served on the side that you way you can control the amount youd like to put. The pork is tender. They put woodear mushrooms, I like it because it gives extra texture to your bowl. The broth is rich, creamy, and not too fat. They have the thick noodles for 1$ extra. Nice place for lunch or dinner.
Our Ramen was excellent - I had a vegan version which I really loved. The restaurant itself is very pleasant and nicely decorated and the server was very sweet.
Amazing experience! Finaly a ramen shop that doesnt blast rap music and makes the experience alot better then other restaurant that serves similar meals options Food
Would come back, best in the area
Such nice staff and the food is just amazing. Must try
Great atmosphere!
Got fun custom sake bomb
Food was great and amazing service! Shoutout to Jiaqi!
10/10 would recommend. If you re in the BF area, this place is a must.
Long wait for food and unexperienced staffs. Food is ok. Food
It s the second time i ve visited this place, first time the tonkotsu chashu ramen was amazing, this time the pork was a bit chewy!
An excellent first time experience and we were not disappointed, great service and warm atmosphere . will recommend to family and friends.
Food was great and atmosphere enjoyable! Will come back soon!
Food was okay, but we got forgotten so our food arrived quite late. Service was less than average. Not very friendly waitress and she made a few errors with our bills.
I tried this place a year ago, their noodles were ok. Not sure why they temporarily closed and have another grand opening. That said, I thought they adjusted their menu a bit so, I went back for their reopening and gave it another try. Nope. Still the same. Their soup was on the bland side, lacking flavor. Their noodles were soggy, I think it is the type of noodle they used. The pork, although they were generous with the portion (compared to other ramen places such as Kinton), the texture is rather rough and also a little bland. Overall, both my wife and I did not overly enjoy their soups nor noodles, it was OK. We also tried their takoyaki and friend calamari and it was the only thing that we liked. That said, if you are a ramen lover and enjoy a more mild flavor type of soup, still give this place a try, it might be for you.
Water is 10/10, i recommend
The place is nice in a nice area. The service was very fast and responsive. The food was good but lacking in quantity from what Im used to.
Very nice place and the ramen is good!
The environment is okay, with Japanese elements. But the food was terrible: My friend and I ordered black garlic oil barbecued pork bone noodle soup, but the black garlic oil was obviously fried and completely bitter, and the whole bowl of noodles became very tasteless. Because we were too hungry and didn t want to wait for the chef to make a new bowl, we forgot about it. This store closes at 2:30 in the afternoon, which is very boring. The waiter may be a newcomer, and his speech is muffled and his voice is low. Wont go there again because of the quality of the food. My friend also thinks the price/performance ratio is very low.
