DaMarco has nothing to do with an ordinary restaurant, everything is prepared on site (meats, sausage, braised beef, bacon), and with care. The best Italian sandwiches in town. Of all the sandwich and salad choices, none is exquisite. Even the vegetarian options are among the recommendations, like the others they are to roll on the ground. So do I recommend this place: Absolutely. Espresso, cookies to go with it, a decadent sandwich, and a delicious or macaroni salad on the side is my definition of happiness.

I felt at home. A treasure of a restaurant, not to be missed if you are or are coming to Montreal. Support local restaurants that are not big chains. They were so welcoming. That I want to go back tomorrow. Well done to you. And worked hard. The best sub that I have had in my life, all made homemade, excellent service, so friendly and so good, very refreshing to see that. They treated me like gold, the owner was so nice to me, and is very friendly young Acadian friend that works with him. As I am Acadian also, they made me feel like home. I was looking for a sandwich shop in the East End, and the Google reviews led me here. Let me tell you I was not disappointed the sandwiches were fresh, delicious, and very generous. We tried Da Marco s on Uber after a friend recommended i was so impressed! We decided while out with the kids to go pick up ,my husband went in and talked with the owner he said he is such a genuine nice and chill guy very welcoming. the subs are full of flavour which sadly One of my famous wont name italian spot is now lacking ! I just found my new gem we highly recommend! We tried the chicken the Prosciutto and the braised beef wow all delicious ! Parking: Nice parking strip infront

W-O-W! In an era where there is almost no customer service, I have just discovered the Gaulish village which resists current mediocrity! I stopped in for dinner recently. When we arrived, the owner Marco was preparing sandwiches while talking to the customers who were there. He was super welcoming and, when I asked him for advice because it was the first time I had come, he replied: wait, is this your first time?!? You are entitled to a song! and he started singing the Family Feud theme! My choice of sandwich fell on one that contained sausage. Marco told me that he no longer had any sausage, but that since he prepares it himself, he could go get his meat and cook it for me old school style ! The sandwich was just as excellent as the service. All the customers who came were well received! Really, its worth the detour!

A very underrated place to go eat. The staff is very knowledgeable in the ingredients they use and preparation. Definitely a place that s very health conscious. The food won t leave you feeling tired after eating. They also take great care in food preparation for anybody that has a form of foodborne illness. Did I mention that they make most of the food themselves?

Da Marco use to be all that plus a bag of chips unfortunately not anymore. They should have stayed to the originals my sandwich was dry, burnt and with little meat.. no hot sauce or cup of hot sauce for that matter. Very disappointed

The only negative point is that it is not yet adapted to accommodate people in the dining room. They are in the renovations! Otherwise the Marco Special is stupid

It was delicious and the employees were very caring and nice, I felt no anxiety ordering either which for some of us less social gifted was a big plus.

I Ordered the Franky sub. I Had high expectations due to the amazing reviews my sub only had a little beef, lettuce & mayo. They forgot the tomatoes, the caramelized onions and the mushrooms. So my sub was kinda bland. I was so excited to finally try this place but was kinda disappointed!

I discovered this little restaurant thanks to the good comments on Google Maps and it really was an excellent choice! Great selection of subs/sandwiches with a typical Italian influence. I took the chicken one at the suggestion of the young man who prepared it for me, very satisfied. He was warm, in a good mood and frankly, it whets my appetite to have a meal prepared for me by someone who loves what he does! I enthusiastically recommend this little gem! (Its located in the small mall next to a convenience store, if you have difficulty locating it with the Google address.)
