I always go there every time I go to Montreal. Today very disappointing like last time. Firstly the waitress is not welcoming, she doesnt even know their dish she couldnt explain to me what was in the Chicken Tava dish (not even able to tell me that my dish contains onions, red pepper, green , chicken in tomato sauce. Just chicken in tomato sauce.) My husband always takes the mixed one and cant finish the plate normally. There he ate everything and he was still hungry. The dishes arent even filled. The fries were frozen, the bourgol was mushy and seemed to reheat. Very disappointing. We hand you your plate and you have to get up to go and pay and ask us, above all, if it is to our liking or if we want tea or dessert.... Last time I go there.

Honestly the service is good even the food, but their machine takes tips if you refuse to pay the tip and when I asked for it I was told sorry we wont refund you its your fault.

The service was the best part

The food was delicious, but the service really left something to be desired. One of the waitresses behaved unprofessionally: she didnt smile once the entire time we were in the restaurant and she ignored me when I was at the counter. Fortunately, the other waitress was welcoming and friendly, which somewhat made up for the mixed experience. A shame, because the experience could have been perfect with better service from all the staff.

I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism of this restaurant. We called to reserve a table for iftar and were assured there was space. However, upon arrival we were informed that the restaurant was full. This situation is all the more regrettable during Ramadan, when reservations are crucial. I am very disappointed with this experience and would not recommend this restaurant to others.

My experience in this restaurant was disastrous..I made a reservation over the phone and when I arrived at the restaurant the cashier told me that the places are limited you cant take a table in a very shocking way , and she didnt even ask for an apology. the employees who work there are really disastrous and their treatment is very bad. one star which I gave is already a lot I do not recommend this restaurant

I visited the restaurant with my husband and children to have dinner, had to order the family dish plus two lentil soups, the salad is full of Ranch sauce and it tasted weird, the chicken skewers are very hard and the cafta like rubber, the disaster is that in the bourghol there are small stones that I chewed while eating, a chance to fall on me not my children, I am very disappointed and enraged by the response of the guy who works there that it is not that responsibility, that the supplier of bourghol is responsible, not even a gesture of apology or empathy, and I paid $112 that evening, he would never set foot in this restaurant again, waste of money I advise you no way

Great Turkish food, fast service, no nonsense setting. Gourmet platter was $80. for 4 hungry people, with 6 types of tasty grilled meats, fries, bulgur, salad, flat bread and tea. Just do not sit near the entrance door, as it gets drafty!

Bad experience, the meal was not good, I really didnt eat anything, mixed plate of chicken and lots of fat and the meat burned and dry, the borgul was not fresh, probably several days old, the skewer was just like even, the pizza was good too, we paid $70 but in reality ate it for $20 total loss, I informed the girl at the cash register, and I think she knows it too.

Bad experience. I been costumer in this place for a while. Usually I order the mix plate but last time I went the food wasn t fresh and was precooked. Even the fries was precooked and they just warmed it up in the microwave. Also, they changed some of the order as they were saying they didn t have more meat . You could ve just told me before I order!!!

I have been a customer since you opened. The food is delicious however, on each visit, I notice that the price increases by $5 to $10 and the quantity has decreased. It has become excessively expensive. This will be my last time unfortunately. The price of the 6-stick dish was $43.99 before COVID and suddenly it was $75, WoW! No reason to increase your price to this point, proof that the restaurant is increasingly empty, even on weekends, unlike the time when we queued to get in.

The food was good, the welcome no worse than the other times where the waitress did her best, too bad for a mixed dish before there was a pepper and a tomato, now if you want to have them you pay extra. Note for the boss: you have made enough money and you want to have even more money, at least try to train your waiters (his) how to decline a request from a customer and not to use the word NO.

I am used to eating on site, this time I opted for a takeaway order, one of the managers Mr. Sam made sure to respond to our request in a very professional manner (was able to take over a situation disparaging with a waitress) The grills were excellent (freshness of meat guaranteed) the burgul was succulent, not to mention the house salad with vinaigrette which went just as well with the burgul. Homemade bread is eaten like a hotcake Ps: the dining room is very clean with a very family atmosphere. When its busy (weekend) allow time and patience the team of young servers do their best! Apart from a few downsides, such as the professionalism of certain waitresses which remains to be worked on, I sincerely recommend this restaurant.

Its been a while since we stopped eating salty foods in your restaurant because the quality has deteriorated, the prices have increased and the quantity has decreased, the last time we decided to just have kunafa and that was the last straw. broke the camels back, we received three kunafa all wet in syrup and decorated with a peanut topping. Chao bye bye

This time if Im going to talk about the kunefa, the format has become very small, the price has increased by $3, the sauce looks like water, theres little cheese in the kunefa and they added the powder peanuts colored green instead of pistachio. Its over, Istanbul house for good

We ate 2 sawdwiches at your place, me and my wife, we had digestive problems, poor quality, I dont recommend the sawdwiches especially with the tortilla bread. And the price is still expensive $14 per sawdwich

I ordered on Uber thinking that it was the place I usually go, which is to say near Viau. But what about that?? Absolutely nothing like it! The chicken doner plate in one word: bland. No flavor. The chicken tastes absolutely nothing, the bulgur is dull and without much flavor either, the fries nothing more and the vinaigrette tasted like sour. Plus the portions are really small for the price. Im crossing my fingers that I didnt get food poisoning, My advice for this restaurateur: close your restaurant and start working in hospital or CHSLD kitchens, you will reach more customers.

I was fasting and my relatives and I decided to dine out, but unfortunately it was a bad experience. We found a cockroach in the food and when we spoke to the workers and manager they told us it was normal. A cockroach in the middle of food, is this normal??? We didnt order the grilled cockroach. We ordered grilled meat. My cousin threw up all the food. This is the last time, and every time I hear the name of your restaurant I think of that cockroach jumping in the middle of the food

A very unpleasant experience for a long-time loyal customer, I just left the restaurant and very disgusted to have a live cockroach in the middle of the meal and the worst reaction of the manager which according to her is normal to find cockroaches in restaurants!!! The food was not cooked well and not fresh. The place was very dirty. An experience that will never be repeated, unfortunately.

I ordered two pide and the tava for takeout. With tip, the bill came to nearly $50. The rice was forgotten with the tava. The only option offered over the phone was for me to spend more money for me to get a free rice. No offer for a partial reimbursement or any other alternative. They are quite opportunistic for using their mistakes to make more money. The food is good but not $50 worth of good for what I got.

Among all the restos I ve been, this is the worst. Missing orders, mistaken orders and forever waiting time I am really surprised that with soooooo many waiters and waitresses, they still make it so chaotic. The food was average. I wish I checked the reviews on Google Maps before I entered this resto. Anyway, hopefully they can improve the service in the future.

The food is good overall but be careful, when you order a shawarma wrap, they put chicken in it. Well yes its cheaper and they think that the customer wont notice it... Its not a simple error but quite deliberate. I tried it at least 3 times, being very clear about my order, and the 3 times I got caught. (Of course, you will pay the price of the shawarma)
