4549 Rue Jarry E, Saint-Léonard, QC H1R 1X6, Canada
Best Northern Vietnamese Cuisine in Saint-Léonard! We speak English, French and Vietnamese. We offer a delicious variety of Vietnamese and Asian food. We have fast and friendly service and specialty foods you can't find anywhere else!
Great place for lunch. The Pad Thai was very tasty. The service was quick and friendly. The Pho soup was huge and very good.
Everything is beautiful. Pho is tasty and meaty. I was ordering #11 from the menu, size L. Highly recommended.
Pleasantly surprised by this quaint restaurant in St-Leonard. Atmosphere was quiet and casual, staff very friendly and quick. Seems family owned. Food was very good. The person I was with had the Pho soup and also enjoyed and liked it very much. Reasonably priced. I recommend it’s worth a try.
First time trying out this vietnamese restaurant. They have a parking so it's convenient if you're by car. The foods were ok in my opinions but the portions a little bit small. Although , when asking for an extra it's provided very fast. Overall it was a great experience with the family , they have classics music which blend in with the place itself . I'll probably try another plate next time we go.
Everything is always fresh & one of the best General Tao I have ever had 🙌🏻 Crispy on the outside & yet tender inside and the sauce is simply delicious. Great food, consistent & service is a good as efficient.
We have a place for 7 people with no problem even it was crowded. Very fast service. We have our meal within 5-10 minutes. Portions are big. Parking a little hard as shared with other shops
Great food, not my favorite pho however, there combo dishes are my favorite. The beef and chicken are most flavorful of my past comparisons of other places. Mini wonton is great too.
As a vietnamese, I enjoy the food here. The portions are generous, affordable price, good and efficient service. The pho here is good, my dad (vietnamese also) says it's okay and that means a lot coming from him who hates any good not made by my mom. I thoroughly enjoyed the bun bo hue, good level of spice (which you can add since they provide it on the table), the portion for me was humongous, and very very generous with the meat. It's been a while that a bun bo hue from a restaurant has tasted good. Highly recommend for people who want to try good vietnamese food. Also, they were able to welcome my family of 16 people with ease and provided good service.
The food was very bad I didnt like it at all
What kind of bad food is this place? I dont recommend it at all.
Very good bun bo hue
This is an excellent restaurant and frequented by many Vietnamese people. An important indicator of quality. The cuisine is exquisite. I really liked it. The service is excellent and with a smile. The only downside is the prices, its far from affordable. For parking, it is free but very restricted.
Good food good service go there its worth it and good price
The food is excellent and served quickly.
My husband and me absolutely loved it.
Do you have a taste for Vietnamese? This is a must stop. It was a nice surprise to discover it. We chose the wonton soup, General Tao, Pad Thai and rice with Beef. All accompanied by hot or cold tea and several choices of spicy sauces. Thanks for the good time.
Tonkinese soup the worst version ever...very little chicken, very hard and fatty...unclean staff, poor quality....
First experience at this restaurant and probably the last. The food was fresh but not enough protein on the plates. The General Tao needs amelioration and the overall hygiene needs improvement.
We had the chicken pho and it was absolutely delicious. Some of the best pho weve ever had. The chicken was grilled and so flavourful.
Super good and fast service. With my friends we go there twice a month at least! Excellent value for money. Family restaurant
Very good place for a quiet late evening dinner, I went there this evening with my partner and we really enjoyed our meal. The staff is very nice and welcoming too, its nice to go there. The food is delicious, they have great healthy options, there is a lot of choice and the prices are really affordable. *** their homemade lemonade is by far the best I have had of this type, it goes wonderfully with your meal <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Thank you so much!
Super restaurant
Pho Bun cha like
Just a lovely family restaurant. Real deal Vietnamese food, friendly and attentive service and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Delicious!
I love this place for a good Tonkinese soup! My favorite: Bun Bo Hue. I highly recommend.
love this place, delicious every time.
We have been regular customers for several months now and we have never been disappointed!
Delicious Tonkinese soup! One of the best in eastern Montreal! Tasty broth carefully prepared. The ingredients are fresh Superb, fast and courteous service Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dish available Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access
Loved the pho, will definitely coming back !
Best Pho in town!!
Good food the beef was excellent
Delicious PHO, tastes exactly like what I had in Hanoi. The waiters were extremely friendly and patient, their service was detailed and attentive.
The best Vietnamese restaurant in Montreal, the staff are so nice and service is crazy fast. Their pho is super good and I really love their combos.
Ordered Bun Bo Hue & grilled beef spring roll and this place might be my new number 1 spot : For the price, the portion is generous and taste is great, not to mention the soup is fresh : it is not greasy or the overnight taste compare to some places. The beef spring roll is almost perfect : they put a large piece of meat but they also put coriander in their spring rolls. I do eat coriander and I am not one of those who dislike coriander but, them inside a grill beef spring roll, not a great mix : the taste of coriander plus mint creates a weird taste that overpower everything else so, it tastes rather bitter and you cannot taste anything else inside the roll. Other than the small quirt, this place is going to be one of my go-to Vietnamese restaurant. But again, take out the coriander from your spring rolls : really not a good idea to put them with peppermint leaves
Good Pho and Spicy soupe
Good Vietnamese food and authentic meal
Chicken spring rolls are quite nice, Bún bò Hu is nice and spicy. They dont have the Sriracha that we are used to, but one of the rare places where its actually close to the original red sauce. And yes they have hot oil.
Best in st Leo for sure
Pho always so good!!! One of the best in town.
The best duck noodles with dried bamboo shoots
Delicious and authentic
The parking lot is a bit small
Very good pho soup and they serve us unlimited tea! I will definitely go back
Nice small restaurant. Taste like authentic vietnamese cuisine. Cute waitress...
Good food...
Good soup
Great tasting food, fast services. If you take out, their food portion is very generous. They especially packed things neatly for you in an organized fashion.
Small, quiet and warm neighborhood restaurant. Very good food, fast and courteous service.
I recommend this place to everyone who loves pho, the quality of the ingredients, the superb service and the parking is at your disposal! The staff also speak French and English and are super polite!
This place is top tier. Amazing quality and always consistent.
Very good soups and excellent service! I highly recommend.
Pretty good soup. The other stuff like the grilled items are delicious too, portion a little small for 19$. I would avoid going late at night as when we went the chop suey was slimy and the spring rolls had black pieces of lettuce and cilantro as if they were rolled in the morning.
Good soup, nice service
Good congee - good congee
I love the restaurant with the fast service, good taste and clean.
Staff was really nice and warm. Kids friendly! Food was tasty, prices reflect current average for this type of cuisine.
One of the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant I ve ever been in MTL! It taste like home. Staffs are nice and respectful, definitely recommend
This resto was a new discovery and a real gem. Dont be thrown off by the simple decor. Quick and very courteous welcome. Tasty complimentary iced green and pandan tea. Nicely varied menu. Had generous and tasty veggie+grilled chicken pho soup served with bean sprouts, thai basil and lime wedges. Really enjoyed the special homemade chili sauce....deliciously spicy. Chopsticks spoons and forks are served rather than being on the table where everyone can touch. Bathrooms not fancy but very clean. Tons of takeout orders. Will be back
Their Tonkinese soup is good
Tasty and delicious
If you like a soup broth with cloves!
Authentic pho, the best to my Vietnamese taste ( I used to like Pho Bang New York, but no more) and other Vietnamese dishes, portions are generous, a family business without pretention, they keep it simple and friendly. Good service and clean establishment, hope they stay the same for years to come.
Very good, inexpensive cozy atmosphere. Great service. I recommend!
We dont go there for the atmosphere, we go there to eat and thats it, we go out
I never get disappointed with the food here. Generous amount, their grilled meat is plenty for the rice/vermicelli dish I order. The three colored dessert is my favorite.
warm and nice atmosphere, amazing food, taste like moms cooking, good service. Its good stuff. If this restaurant ever closes, I will cry
the pho removed all the Casamigos from my body within 20 mins
Their bun bo hue is great
Very good Pho soup and reasonable price Compared to other spots Food
The food and service deserve 4 stars!
yummy bun bo hue :)
Today is not the first time me and my friends eat at this restaurant Actually, the first few times I visited, I didnt have a lot of good impressions (The service team is not welcoming) However, the times I come back later, they welcome us more cheerfully, more warmly and serve us better. And this is why I give this restaurant 5 stars today I want to add that the food that I and my friends like the most is the... Bamboo duck vermicelli soup This is a traditional Vietnamese soup (northern) Everyone come to try it
Went here for the 1st time today and was not disappointed! The staff was friendly and welcoming, as well as quick and efficient. The food is some of the best Ive had! Will definitely be returning!
Delicious amazing food.
Food is excellent.
Went here on a holiday, 4th September, labour day! Called there and made sure that they were open, and yes, they did! Clean restaurant, neat broth, spicy soup was not that spicy, still tasty, though! What I like most was there were lots of sliced beef with tendons on them, boiled to perfection, love the texture! Oh, btw they got you tea with pandan leaf flavor served instead of tap water when you got seated, bonus point! If you are nearby, definitely recommend trying their pho out!
Small family business restaurant, Their pho was good, spring roll I ate some of the best... but I dont think Ill go back there because it didnt seem very hygienic as a place... there were a few black flies lurking in the restaurant and the table next to ours was dirty then we actually saw a spider coming down from the table disgusting!! They will have to bring an exterminator for sure!!
Delicious and friendly staff!
Delicious, very clean, perfect service, well be back :-)
Super good restaurant, probably the best Thai Ive had the opportunity to try.
the grilled chicken noodle soup was amazing as always thank you so much!! best pho in st-leonard!
Delicious food. Bean vermicelli, Hai Phong grilled vermicelli
Excellent.
Food was very good. Quick and efficient service. Great value. Food : 5/5
If your looking for really good asian food I recommend this restaurant
Their bun thit nuong hai phong is very delicious. But their ice coffee is just ok
Great pho!
If u want to have nord vietnam authentic food, it s good place to try
Good food and not expensive....yum!!! I love this restaurant in the Saint-Leonard district.
Just an awesome authentic place
Friendly service good Pho and Duck noodle. I will definitely come back
Amazing wings, and good tonkinoise soup.
Small yes but great pho gha though. Friendly service... comming back for sure
Super good little family restaurant! Good service and good food.
I loved the meals. Delicious and served hot.
I found hairs in my soup.
Tasty
Very delicious food. Traditional meals from North Vietnam.
An excellent restaurant with exemplary service all the time and the homemade iced tea included with meals is very good!
The soup was excellent. Quick service also.
I am in love with this restaurant and will continue to support them whenever I visit Montreal. The food is amazing great atmosphere and amazing waitstaff. Shout out to Jenny and her brother for letting me use their wifi!!! I humbly appreciate you both. It was my first time meeting my cousin and he hasnt met with family in over 40 years since he left for Canada. We ate at this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. A true gem in Jarry Street.
The Bun Bò Hué soup was excellent and the service excellent. I know that the other dishes are excellent without even having tasted them because it is delicious authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Im going back for sure. Go for it!
Great & Fresh pho and clean restaurant! Services are excellent and smiled! Others plats also excellent too.
We have been coming here for at least the past year after our discovery! The food and service is consistent. Always very good and fresh! We love the pho, the combo rice plates and today, I even tried the bubble tea which was actually pretty good! Their prices are very good compared to other restaurants in the city and the food is better here!
Flavour of the Pho is delicious. Customer service here is A1. Clean environment, pleasant atmosphere, and served with chilled green tea. Try their Rare Pho soup, with their spicy sauce :) highly recommend.
Oh wowwwww! Discovered by chance, I had the Bun Thit Nuong Hai-Phong for dinner... Wow, WHAT a delicious dish! To remember and try!!!
For my part I cant say wow, I would rather say meh I wont come back. The service is ok but the food which disappointed me a lot, I expected more! More flavors, more noodles, more meat. The big problem with restaurants is that they dont give enough to keep customers coming back. Its okay if youre not too demanding.
Potanstique
Terrible service, we have take out once and wasn t that good. We thought we gave a try again but this time dine in we was first in line party of 4, been waiting for 10 min and just sat us down. Unfortunately a group of 8 just walking and make us stand up to prioritize the group of 8. Anyway that s it, point of line take out was bad, now we know service is bad too! if you want to enjoy your lunch that s not the place.
Tonkinese soup, ph , ordinary quality.
Been going for a while and food is always constantly delicious. Plus it s bring your own wine / beer wow wow
Good old fashion pho clean and tasty
Tasty food
Excellent grilled chicken and vegetable soup
The soup is ok but the rice with shrimp was not good to much oil and it wasnt even done properly made as it was supposed too. I wouldnt recommend this place believe me.
The meal soup with vermicelli, bamboo shoots and duck is a Vietnamese dish that reminds me of home cooking (Bun Mang Vit). He was excellent! Ive never seen it in other restaurants. Absolutely worth trying!
the food is okay, the service is hit or miss. You have to wait 40 minutes to 1 hr sometimes for Pho, which they advertise they specialize in. The WILL NOT give you more than 1-2 pieces of the tinniest and thinnest piece of napkins even when you sweat bullets eating pho. We came with 8 people, they brought out exactly 8 pieces of thinnest napkins and the cheapest quality you can find. I find it comical that they try to cut the cost down by limiting how much their customers can wipe their mouths or their faces. That being said, the flavor of their pho is on the mark.
WOW! Authentic Northern Vietnamese cuisine. I was there this evening with my sisters and my mother. Our mother is originally from Hanoi and an excellent cook herself and therefore normally difficult to please culinary wise... BUT she tried and ate everything and found all the dishes delicious. Fresh products. Careful preparation. Delicious and authentic taste. Fast and friendly service. I will return there for sure!
Excellent soup, courteous service Parking: Many businesses share the same parking lot
Good little neighborhood restaurant.
My wife and I have been to this restaurant twice now. We both have excellent experiences. Respectful and smiling employees. My wife had the spicy beef and noodle soup bole again. Bun bo Hue. For my part, the plate of grilled beef with vermicelli. Absolutely delicious as for our first visit. The prices are also very reasonable and the portions are perfect.
Really good General Tao chicken tasty and well packed for delivery
I ordered the grilled chicken soup with vegetables..delicious and comforting!
Great broth! Grilled dishes also well seasoned and tasty. Also a solid general tao ;) Really nice service as well- definitely a recommended pho shop in the east end!
Good soup
Great food good price
The best pad thai and rare beef soup
I order from here often and I always enjoy it. The food is fresh and tasty. Also the meals are good portions. I sent a recommendation through uber and the restaurant updated as requested. Great service.
Nice restaurant, cramped but not too cramped. Their bubble tea is good, although there is never tapioca. Otherwise, the food is good and quite hot and a nice variety of products.
I love this restaurant, the dishes are really good and the soup is amazing ..
I ate one of the best pad thai of my life. Their general tao chicken is also excellent. This is real Vietnamese cuisine, much better than any fast food. The service was excellent too.
If you re looking for really tasty pho broth this is the spot! Everything was on point from service, food and présentation. 10/10 would recommend!
Good pho and pad thai , service could be better but take out is good, would go back
Yummm! Best general tao I have eaten wow!! Even the little rolls were delicious!! I tasted the soup as a starter and the broth was very tasty!!! I highly recommend!
Vietnamese tasty with various dishes
They have a great dishes typically from Vietnam Haiphong
one of the best Vietnamese restaurants.
Delicious food, suitable for taste, reasonable price, good service...
Authentic taste , good price
Dear Lord! this food was spectacular and great service too! I took leftovers home and shouldve taken even more I cant wait to go back. Amazing thank you!
Best food, Much flavour, super satisfy
Very good soup and grills too
1st good experience in 7 place the food was delicious and fresh. The service was up to par. the place is very clean and hygiene measures are well respected. Its not expensive at all to eat in 7 place plus the dishes are really giant.. I recommend
All the food was really good. The broth is some of the best-tasting Ive had in pho. The service was friendly and fast. I strongly recommend for pho in the East End.
Vietnamese food for me
Its good and the people are nice.
Very nice discovery while I was passing through this area. I had a bún bò huê to bring with a beef spring roll and the dishes were tasty and included quite a bit of meat unlike other places. The sprouted beans in the soup were replaced by a mixture of red cabbage which is original and better than receiving wilted sprouted beans. Fast and attentive service. Im giving it 4 stars since I havent tried everything but if the rest is as good, 5 stars wouldnt be a steal! I recommend.
