Food, atmosphere and especially service was excellent. Parking can be tight and it’s not well indicated where it is located. Drove by it the first time. You guys need a bigger sign lol.
Merci … Melanie for canceling the reservation at the last minute. Do not book online, they cannot accommodate the reservation. They cancelled our reservations 2 days before of dining. Only 70 people in the dinning room (cannot accommodate) as Melanie explained. No activities outdoors as Melanie explained. It seems that their online reservation is flawed. Don’t plan any family events, they canceled ours. Goood luck! 🍀 It addition, they only accept cash. Update; read the online reservations FAQ, they have the right to cancel your reservations, within 36 hours, my reservation was cancelled 24 hours before of planning dining.
Amazing food and staff
Excellent service and good food! Unfortunately, the food plates we got were too small for a party of 4. We had to keep asking for food and it became frustrating.34$/person a bit to steep.
Very average, cash only and too pricey
Sausages had a weird texture, eggs were a bit too wet for me and soup tasted a bit odd. On the flip side, the potatoes were good and so was the pancake.
What a great time we had. Service was excellent and the staff made you feel at home. Food was impecable and very tasty. There was so much food and left over. To the whole staff and owner keep up the good work.
A friend referred us to this sugar shack for its great food. Unfortunately, the experience we had here today was far from great. We were a group of 10 and food for only 5 people was brought out for each course. We constantly had to ask for more of EVERYTHING: preserves, soup, ham, beans, desserts, coffee -and even water! The service was slow and inattentive. As for the food, it was disappointing as well. The pea soup was extremely salty. You have to pay EXTRA for everything; milk for the kids and for the « tire » at the end. We will not be coming back here and i wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either.

We were a group of about 15 people. We loved the cabin food but the extras are a must to try! Whether its the royal platter or the bacon candy platter or the magnificent plate of buffalo mozzarella, everything is delicious! In addition to having eaten well, the atmosphere is great, the staff is warm and attentive to the needs of the table. The icing on Sunday: KARAOKE! Thank you very much to Melanie and her team for having managed to offer us that little extra which made us so happy even if we didnt have much choice of songs we are more than satisfied!! As the saying goes: never two without three! See you next year
La délicieuse cuisine, latmosphère chaleureuse et le somptueux plateau royal ont ravi mes papilles. Le chicharron était mon coup de c ur. Les serveurs, toujours attentifs, ont contribué à faire de cette cabane à sucre un joyau cinq étoiles. Je prévois déjà revenir avec ma famille, tant cette expérience fut exceptionnelle. Un grand merci à toute léquipe!

We were just two people who came to Venus for a sugar shack meal on a Sunday. We were a little disappointed because the sausages in the syrup were only grocery store hot dog sausages that you could put syrup on and not the homemade roasted sausages that we are used to seeing. In addition, some places offer dishes already cooked/simmered in syrup but here it is not very seasoned and then it is up to us to decide to add syrup, which still changes the taste. The omelette had a lot of oil on the bottom but was good. Apart from this, the ham, the pea soup and the potatoes were very good, the ears of corn were perfectly cooked and the desserts (sugar tart and puffy pancakes) delicious. Too bad that for $30 + tax per person, having milk with dessert in the evening costs an additional $4.25 (large format). For the service, everyone served us and was nice (they asked us if everything was to our liking and if we wanted something) during the majority of the service but we felt very rushed at a certain point when we got there. had our syrup removed for another table and asked during dessert 4-5 times if we had finished with two waitresses. There were just two of us but we paid just as much and were well tipped... I dont know if they understand that customers can feel bad eating quietly like that. It hadnt even been an hour since we arrived. Overall, its still a great experience but I would have liked a little more for $30 per person. THANKS. PS: we didnt take any taffy because two or three children had fun putting their taffy in their mouths and putting it back on the snow all over the place, but this is more the fault of the parents and not of the employee. pulls it.
Very small sugar shack. The service was excellent but the food was just ordinary. The milk is charged in addition to the $30+tx per person that we must pay. The pea soup was much too watery and the omelettes soaked in water and tasted like water. The taffy and their creton were very good. Considering everything, it is possible to find better elsewhere.

Lendroit était bien. Le service était très ordinaire et la nourriture était correcte sans plus. Comme mentionné dans plusieurs commentaires on reçoit un plat de chaque nourriture qui ne couvre jamais le nombre de personnes assises. Les serveurs se dépêchent denlever les assiettes et noffrent jamais damener dautre nourriture. Pour le prix payé super dispendieux. Je ne recommanderais pas dy aller.

Cheap and not good, nothing to do with a typical meal from a sugar shack, even the syrup is misleading (table syrup) and dont overuse the maple taffy which is full of lumps... This place is banned from my list

We were a group of 5 who booked more than a month ago to go there on Saturday March 26, 2022. What a monumental disappointment!! Tiny Cabin which was filled to much more than capacity to make this visit an enjoyable experience! Never eaten so quickly in my life to get out of there! I know that the owners talk about people showing up with children and other guests not included in their reservations, but it is then up to the owners to manage this situation so that those who have booked correctly are not penalized by having to pile up like sardines. Either you refuse groups that do not comply with their reservations or you make them wait to allow others to live their *Sugar Cabin experiences *pleasantly. Zero for experience! A 2/5 food...maybe having to stuff yourself to leave didnt help your appreciation? Huge disappointment deserving only One (1). Zero chance of going back and reluctant to try the other affiliated restaurants...
The food is very good, especially the sugar tart. However, space is very limited for large groups. Even with a reservation for 10 people the table was very very small. The delay for the maple taffy was much too long. The service is a bit cacophonous: the waiters often forget requests and we have to repeat them more than once. The space can get very noisy quickly given the proximity to other tables.
Unfortunately a little disappointed. The problem was the availability of space. During our visit, there were too many people inside which forced everyone to stick together and in doing so everyone ate very quickly (too quickly in fact) to get out of there at most. quickly, which ruined everyones experience. Otherwise, the food was okay, nothing more. For $32 per person, it was a little expensive in light of what I just listed. After talking about it with the owner when we left, I understood the situation, but the fact remains that in view of the place being able to hold only 70 people and even if he had limited it to 60 people, he overwhelmed by people who added themselves to the reservation without warning and people who arrived with several children who had not been announced. In such a situation, the very logic would have been to refuse people or to make certain groups who were in surplus and not announced wait. I find the situation a little unfortunate knowing the reputation of the Rosa Group for having frequented their other establishments or their standards of service and the quality of their food is really top notch. Will we go back to their sugar shacks? Probably not. Will we return to Chez Rosa Pâtes et Grill? Oh yeah !!!!

A sugar shack smaller and more intimate than the others. On the other hand, the maple taffy service was very very slow that day and the quantity was low.

I ordered via MaCabaneAlaMaison.com and picked it up locally. My box was ready on time, picking was super simple and easy. Criss Ears are thin: Wow! Delicious! I ordered the meal for two, and we had enough for 2 meals for 2 people. I will definitely go back!

Last service on Saturday, we ask for ears of crisses they no longer have any, there has never been a coffee service and when we asked for some they tell us that it is too late and inform us that it is no longer good. We ate our pancakes from the coffee plate, the baked beans dish was so small we thought it was for one person and the soup was so liquid you could count the peas. We were told we could dance but the room is too small.
We never got our taffy and everything was really too salty and the omelette was cooked in big criss doreil oil.

For several years, the staff at Délices des Sucres have always welcomed us with warm service and offered us only tasty, quality dishes. The very affordable entry price for a complete service (cash only) and the taffy is so good! Homemade maple syrup! For animal lovers, there are no horse-drawn carriages. Warm and family atmosphere. On the other hand, dont forget to make your reservations in advance in this little hidden gem because it fills up very quickly. I want to thank you and see you next year!
