Total failure this evening Italian poutine, uncooked fries and uncooked white onion rings!!

First visit yesterday. Great service, the quality and quantity is really present. My new place at Burger (Boucanier) and Poutine.....I recommend!!

Great poutine!

I ordered an average poutine expo. I received a classic, the sauce tasted like nothing and there was very little of it. The fries were undercooked. At least the cheese is good. Unfortunately I realized this at home. In addition to taking about 20 minutes to get served. Very disappointing for a poutine for almost $24, first time Ive been there and I wont go back.

I really enjoyed my dinner at this restaurant last night! My poutine was good! She was hot. I loved everything about it (fries, cheese and brown sauce). There were big chunks of cheese. The service was fast. The only downside: it was a little cold in the restaurant.

The ice cream is very expensive but above all not good.. I gave it a lot of chances and from one time to the next the cones are very small for the price and the cream is super grainy each time! Disappointing

I ordered a poutine with brown gravy and at the bottom of the dish, the sauce was liquid and the fries were soft. Not really up to the reputation of the restaurant. Hopefully this is a one-off error.

Update: unfortunately their superb veggie burger plate is no longer served, which is a shame. 5 stars for soft ice creams with varied flavors each week, compared to the traditional vanilla chocolate. As well as their well-stocked, tasty and exquisite veggie burger plate.

Me and my partner each had a poutine and some pops! The poutine 3/10, almost no sauce and the fries were moist, only the cheese was excellent. The portion of little pops, extremely ridiculous, 4 small butchers which total the size of the sauce container, all in a big container, ideal for making maracasse style music! I understand inflation, but it would be better to focus on the price rather than the portions, very disappointing! Positive point, very cold and sparkling soft drinks.

Good meal and excellent cheese in poutines, but in 2024, using aluminum dishes that are thrown away when it is a material that can be recycled infinitely... it is unacceptable. I brought my 4 dishes home to recycle them properly. Metal utensils are used in the restaurant as well as plates that can be washed for other meals, why not do the same thing for poutines?

I like going to the cheese shop, not just for poutine or ice cream but also to buy products. Their flavored cheddar is excellent and the aged cheddar too! The cheese curds are really good and you can buy them by weight. I also really like the flavors of the month at the dairy bar. As for the poutine, its good. The cheese is exquisite. But the rest is ok. The price of baby carnivore poutine is staggering for the portion. Especially with a maximum of 2 tablespoons of meat filling. When I asked I was told ground beef, onion and bacon . I should have been told it was sweet, in fact very sweet... I barely ate any fries or toppings. Actually lucky there wasnt more topping because I probably wouldnt have eaten it. I will go back. For cheese curds and creamery which are the two sure values where the quality and price are perfect. Kid-friendliness: Some kid-friendly options but the chicken bites plate has 3x more fries than chicken. The taste of the chicken, however, is excellent.

I tried the pizza, poutine and lasagna. A real treat for each of them. 10/10 fresh cheese, sauce and delicious dough/fries. Oh and not forgetting the ice cream! Several choices are available to suit all tastes.

A woman who was alone and seemed overwhelmed was giving orders. So we waited near a crate near her. Waited for a long time, other people arrived and she made them pass us by . Faintness. We have already been waiting for a long time calmly. She told us we were in the wrong place to order. She could have told us much earlier. We were not from the area and it was not visible in any way. Insulted by his attitude towards us. We went to eat at McDonalds across the street. However, we regularly eat at our local Victoriaville cheese shop and it has always been very good and good service. The Smoked meat Poutine with pepper sauce was sublime. I should have gotten a small, because the medium was too much for my lunchtime appetite. Nice atmosphere, reasonable price, although high average. I will definitely return.

The first time it was perfect, the second time the fries were too, really overcooked, hard, not good. I should have said it.

The young man put my plate on the edge, the lady serving at the cash register had to ask him to cut the smoke meat sandwich in two and then he went off to chat to another young colleague, the lady had to wait for him to come back and serves me my soup to give me everything so cold fries.

Well, Im a little sad to give it a 4 star, but unfortunately a 4 will be the rating I give them for the moment for the experience I had. First, a steamed hotdog where the sausage forgot to cook, while the bun had one side very dry and the other wet (any cook should have realized this and not served that). Secondly, for the poutine, same fight, it was bordering on lukewarm. We ate there and the restaurant was empty, so no clear reason for lack of cooking. That being said... very good poutine, generous in cheese, brown fries (which must be excellent when they come out of the oil). The very tasty BBQ sauce, very slightly spicy, delicious. And the taste of the cheese...worthy of a quality cheese shop! I will definitely stop at another time to confirm or deny my experience... high potential, lack of love in the execution.

The cheese is great, but otherwise it was a disappointment. A quick stop like that to try a new poutine and well quickly get the hang of it, because the problem is: The sauce. Insufficient quantity and much too thick, it was completely frozen on top. Plus, it lacked flavor, enough to feel like you were eating fries with cheese. If we go for the Chicken Popcorn poutine with spicy sauce. Its nonsense. You ask for a little Popcorn Chicken Poutine, you choose your sauce and the cashier says to you: - So its a little poutine, extra hot sauce, extra popcorn chicken. - But no, I ordered a small Popcorn Chicken poutine, not the extra popcorn chicken. It may seem the same, but no, on your menu it says small popcorn chicken poutine, it doesnt say extra popcorn chicken. There, we dread having a chicken popcorn poutine, extra chicken popcorn. Its a really strange way to manage the menu. But enough of the popcorn chicken, it was okay, but the spicy sauce had all been absorbed by the famous popcorn chicken, that it no longer really looked like poutine. For the price, we are very expensive, around $17 for the large which is approximately the equivalent to $13 elsewhere. And it s expensive: $17 for a poutine that lacks sauce. And it s about $15 for the small popcorn chicken. For the decor, its nice and warm, but the experience remains similar to a quick service chain like McDonalds. We are very far from the authentic and family experience promised on their website. Unless you live nearby and have no other choice, you wont make the detour to go there.

I should have taken a photo but this evening 07 07 2023 I didnt even finish the poutine that I had bought, it was really not good, there were only a few small pieces of smoked meat, almost no sauce so much so that the bottom of the dish was still clean and the fries were therefore without sauce and all that has a totally excessive price for the size and especially for fries, unfortunately Im not going back there again.

At $20 for a small poutine expo with a bottle of water, I hoped the poutine would be good. It s true, it s one of the best poutines out there. On the other hand, parking is zero, the cars have doors, the lines are too close together and $700 worth of bodywork for a $20 poutine is not worth it.

Nice looking place, the Squeaky cheese was good but thats about it, One small poutine and one half salad was 40$... overpriced. No sauce on the salad with synthetic looking chicken and no other veggies than iceberg salad.

My partner and I went out for dinner this evening and we were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food as well as the service. It took so long to receive our order and several people who ordered after us received it before us. What can I say about my hot dogs... they were flowing everywhere, they were SOAKED with ketchup, mustard, relish... so much that my fingers went through them! Without any exaggeration. I went back to see the young girl at the cash register to ask for the hot dogs to be made again since it was disgusting there was so much ketchup etc. the young girl herself didnt find it appetizing. The young girl asks one of her colleagues wearing a red sweater if they can be made again for me and she asks her: Well whats the problem? After a few minutes an employee asked the young man if they were remaking the two hot dogs, pointing to the ones I had brought back. The young man starts laughing when he sees the hot dogs I had flipped! Then, my boyfriend came to ask what was going on with the hot dogs since I had already been waiting for a while. Finally, after 10 minutes I had my two hot dogs and ate my cold poutine in fact I should rather say my fries with cheese! A mini amount of sauce on top. In short, $42 later, we will never go back.

I have worked in catering for 18 years, I know very well that to err is human, that rushes exist etc... the problem is that every time we go, there are always errors on our orders and few of sauce. I convinced my husband to give them several chances. We decided to stop going there! Recently, after several months without going there, we said go, lets go back and see. Very friendly cashier, but way too long wait. The waiter in the kitchen realized himself that he had forgotten something in my poutine (which is good) but rolled his eyes not at all subtly. Sorry but I would like to give you my experience. A few weeks ago, I went to Victoriaville and I really enjoyed it. On the other hand, yesterday Sunday, I had a very bad experience. After ordering 2 hotdogs, a poutine and a drink. After half an hour of waiting and seeing all the customers in front of me, I went to find out. They take my receipt to place my order. After more waiting, I asked for a refund. I couldnt take it anymore because I arrived around 5:20 p.m. and left around 5:55 p.m. You will understand as I do that I had a very disappointing experience.... WEIRD, I DID NOT RECEIVE A RETURN...!!!!!

I waited before writing this review. I went to this restaurant 3 times, each time disappointed, Poutine with rather cold chicken, lukewarm sauce, its not once but 3 times that this happens to me. Maybe its a new trend... I didnt like it..

What a disappointment! We are willing to pay a premium price for a quality poutine (cheese, fries, sauce). But we went to get 2 poutines on Saturday evening and the fries were not perfectly cooked. Really unpleasant. Perhaps the young cooks in the kitchen lacked experience? Regardless, the result was truly unsatisfactory. The service on the other hand was adequate, and the restaurant is good. But above all we judge on our dishes!
