Very nice evening at the Cooks. Beautiful restaurant and nice atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and smiling. The meal was lukewarm for several People who were with me. But apart from that, I recommend!

Saturday December 14. My brother, his partner, me and my partner. My brother and I take the tomahawk for 2. My partner the flank steak and my sister-in-law the filet mignon. We share 2 starters: fried squid and burrata. The burrata is ok but the squid is a bit rubbery. The flank steak and filet mignon are good. But the tomahawk is of poor quality. Although they told us that they sold 18 in the evening without complaint, my brother and I are two BBQ lovers and we have never eaten a piece of meat of such poor quality in a restaurant. Cooking is medium rare, perfect. The meat rolls in the mouth, full of tirasse (no fat), we left half of the animal on the plate. A disaster. They gave us 25% off our bill but the damage is done: its the last time I go to this place.

We visited this restaurant a few weeks ago and the meals served were good. We returned Saturday October 19th and it was a huge disappointment. The green salad as a starter was dripping with sauce, there were four of us and we all had the fish and chips, it was full of uncooked batter even less crispy. Even dessert, one of us had a crème caramel, there was barely half an inch of cream in her bowl. It was a culinary disaster and will be our last at this restaurant, to AVOID.

Big disappointment last night. Reservation for 6 people. A good 5-10 minutes in the entrance before someone came to greet us. We are directed to a table with a view of the toilets... Bottles of water are given to us without pouring any on us. No one to open our bottle of wine and help us either. We did it ourselves like adults! After successfully ordering, we waited an hour to receive our dishes. We even had to ask for bread while waiting, because no one offered us any 1st delivery: 4 pieces for 6 people!?! In short, an experience without support from staff, without customer service. Clearly, the staff is insufficient or the restaurant too large. Very disappointing despite a very good meal. It was our last visit.

Services extrèmement long. Les serveuses étaient sympathiques et gentilles mais je crois que le gros GROS problème de ce restaurant se trouve dans les cuisines. J avais l impression de manger du surgelé réchauffé au four micro-onde.

We were a group of 30. There were two other groups that evening. We were in the restaurant for more than 4 hours and if we hadnt insisted, it would have been longer. As for the cuisine, pretty ordinary. Dried snails with a frozen sauce and soft croutons, tartare starter without presentation - tartare pancake and two croutons (no greens to garnish), beef tartare in large cubes and fairly basic seasonings, in short, I make some of the best. Noisy atmosphere. The service was good despite the slowness of the kitchens. Personally, I wont go back there.

The food excellent. Too long to get served. More than 1h30 waiting. The most unpleasant thing is during payment. Offer for the tip starts at 18%, while the service was very ordinary.

Unfortunately our chicken was way overcooked but the flavors were very good. We informed our waitress who was very kind and attentive and she responded very well by offering us dessert and coffee. We will return.

There were 4 of us going for dinner. The service was excellent, although a little slow. The food was okay, nothing more, unfortunately. The snail starter was lukewarm. Fried squid very good. The beef tartare was not very tasty, not at all spicy. The biggest disappointment is the portions which are small. The teenagers were still hungry! Special mention to the fries which were delicious!

First time I went to this restaurant Les Cuisiniers, Divino was excellent and service too. Wednesday June 26 we went to eat on the terrace, bad service, the waitress couldnt wait for us to leave, we felt rushed, for example spent her time ask if we are going to have dessert because the kitchen is closing, my friend orders a green salad tartare, I tell him try Cesar salad, he tells her Im changing, and she took our orders she told him I know not if Im going to be able to, the order is gone, lets see the waitress is there again. my flank steak is good but very difficult to cut, she should have given me a steak knife. I find value in the food is good but the service is lousy.

Beautiful places, the food is very good, but for meat cooking was limited. We asked for med rare and it was rather rare, almost blue. There were items not available on the menu but we understood that the menu changed the next day. Tuna tataki, cod was excellent

There were two of us on a Wednesday evening. The atmosphere on the terrace was superb. Exactly what we were looking for since good restaurants with terraces are rather rare on the South Shore. The salmon tartare as a starter was delicious, the grilled scallops cooked to perfection and the accompaniments were tasty. Very nice discovery for us! We recommend and we will return!

Un ami à apprécié la bavette et losso bucco servi avec des pâtes était bon , surtout les pâtes. Comme cest un apportez votre vin, laddition est raisonnable et le service, très bon.

Went with a group on May 30, 2024. Lots of groups and full restaurant. Unfortunately, I didnt enjoy the experience. Took the octopus as a starter which was overcooked. The chickpeas on the side were very oily and not appetizing. Humus ok as an accompaniment. My New York cut steak, requested very rare, was rather well cooked...boot sole...good fries, a little soft as an accompaniment but passable. Vegetables (peppers, asparagus) very soft and oily...my colleague asked for the medium veal chop and it was cold and raw inside. Small falafel appetizers at first were very dry and ordinary. The service was ok but not worthy of a good restaurant: the people who took the dishes were asking everyone loudly whose dishes were .you have a plan on an electronic tablet please look at who the dish is going to and go take it to the right person we forgot my espresso at the end and the coffee served to colleagues was really not good. For dessert I had the cheesecake again very greasy/oily made with good cheese but not appetizing .I dont know why everything was so oily needless to say I will never go back and I dont recommend this restaurant. We were invited so I didn t pay for my meal but if I had paid for that I would be even more angry I had at least brought an excellent Bordeaux! For a restaurant owned by Normand Laprise, the chef on site was not up to par

My flank steak was small...I asked for medium good, and it arrived overcooked too... We were a group of 11 people. A little bread to keep us waiting would have been in order with our wine. I had to serve the wine myself to my guests... Calamari very good, burger too and Brussels sprouts also. We will go back and give it a second chance, as the food was good.

We regularly went to these restaurants (Les Cuisiniers and Divino) when Yan Perreaut was the owner. Its famous soup alone was worth the trip. We brought friends over for dinner on a few occasions. This evening we went back with a couple of friends to eat the delicious fish and chips....total disappointment....the portions are halved....the famous soup is no longer there... You have to ask for bread, butter, salt and pepper. When paying the thing no longer offers a 15% tip...it starts at 18%...we wont be going anymore unfortunately. There are so many other good restaurants in the area.

Hello, overall I liked this restaurant, the menu is varied, the food is very good, the plates are generous (for fine cuisine) and the service is very good. In addition, the place is clean, the only small problem is that it is quite noisy. In my opinion, the place should be made a little more quiet to reduce the noise. It is not easy to maintain a conversation because you often have to repeat or be repeated.

The food and service were impeccable, unfortunately the noise made conversation impossible. Placing reservations for two people on large groups is not great at this level.

We go to the kitchen often and have always been very satisfied but not this time. We received the lukewarm corn cream, then we waited 1 hour for our squid which arrived cold and rubbery. My partner ordered the fish and chips...he has never had a fish with so much breading and so fatty, as if it had been reheated a second time, (you can see it in the photo by the color of the breading ). The coleslaw was under the fries and fish instead of on a side dish as usual. Not once did the waitress come and put wine in our glasses. It was not at all the usual and since we were going there for my birthday, I was very disappointed to pay $180 for dishes that all arrived warm and reheated. Parking: We had to park in the street because there was no space.

Mothers Day brunch: reserved 48 hours in advance for 2 adults 2 children 2 and 5 years old for 1:30 at the price of $45/adult and $20/child, in short, very affordable arrived at 1:30 p.m., waited 15 minutes outside, once inside, we noticed the bland decor which looked more like a warehouse than a restaurant, standing with the baby in their arms, the staff who seemed to be a collection of indiscriminate students passes in front of us without looking at us until I call out to one of them. We are quickly directed to a table in this already half-empty restaurant, they come to see us take our order quickly, we choose caramel French toast and grill cheese for the kids and 2 egg steak bagel for us. The Brunch includes a basket of pastries to share. 30 minutes later we are brought a basket with 2 croissants, a chocalatine, 2 little raspberry things, everything is dry and inedible but after 45 minutes of waiting we devour this junk which is crumble with every bite. And we wait, wait, the children are hungry, so are we, until we ask whats going on, weve been at the table for 1 hour and weve had croissants good for the trash. We are told that it is coming. Of the 4 dishes, the French toast arrives, we separate it for the children, the children spit it out. We taste it, a kind of dry yellow pancake with bitter caramel and whipped cream that tastes like grand marnier. I call the waitress and I give her back the dish telling her that it is not edible. The manager comes to see us for us learning that our table is canceled and the meal will not be charged with the explanation that they served 400 people. I exploded, we are starving and they do us the favor of not charging us for their disgusting food. Dont be fooled by the name, no one knows how to cook at this place. We went to Pacinis next door and were promptly served a decent meal. Its written in the sky that this place is not paying for itself and will no longer exist soon, dont drag out their torment and go elsewhere. ps in addition their wooden high chair was broken into pieces, very dangerous.

Was not representative of a meal at $45 each. Very ordinary for a lunch.... We had to ask for salt, pepper, ketchup which could not be left on the tables... in short this is the last time I return to this restaurant if there is a special party style menu mothers or others.

Im sorry, but the brunch was very disappointing. First service yogurt was tasteless and 2/3 fruits were out of date, there was a bowl with a pastry per person. The main meal in my case, Steak and beef bagel, bagel so dry, unable to eat it, beef difficult to cut for dessert, equally disappointing. The price of the Mothers Day meal was excessive for the quality and quantity of food we received. 1-It was lukewarm and dry, we had to wait for salt, pepper, ketchup. Of course we understand the huge traffic but we could have left this stuff on the table. 2- No jam for the croissants. 3- Super slow coffee service. 4-There werent even enough croissants and desserts for EACH person to enjoy tasting each item. There were 9 of us but we had stuff for 8 all the time. 5- If we asked for something, it took so long to get the items that we ate it almost cold. 6- My nephew paid (45+11) $56 for flank steak which he ate with a butter knife and lukewarm too, its shocking! Big disappointment from everyone invited. I wanted to introduce them to your restaurant. I was very embarrassed.

This is not my first visit but unfortunately the worst...it was the 2/$48 promo dinner and it was not up to par for our gang of 5. I took the hair dish from seafood angels and it had raw onions, very unfortunate.. My brother had the coq au vin which was very disappointing, the chicken was a little dry and not very tasty... and the soup which is free with the dish, its not not a soup its a very ordinary liquid pepper soup.. In summary we are very disappointed... Too bad its a beautiful place with a lot of potential

There were 9 of us and when I looked at the other plates I didnt even feel like eating because the brunch food was really poorly cooked! I chose the breakfast Poutine which looked like soup! Fake Long Coffee sold at a high price but tasted like dishwater! Avoid this place which is far from reflecting the corporate image that people want us to believe!

Correct meal without more, Beef tartare and salad

For $45 per person for Easter brunch I really expected more. It was off to a good start with the pastries and cheeses, but it got worse in the second course. Eggs Benedict really overcooked, little or no Hollandaise sauce, cold plate and anemic portion of ham. Plus we had a bowl of fresh fruit that looked like frozen fruit. Those who had the quiche were no better. Correct portion but cold and uncooked crust. What about the builders lunch... Uncooked sausages and cold eggs. Finally, the third services. Salted caramel popcorn not salty and not caramel in addition to being soft as if it had spent the night on the counter. Flavorless pudding chômeur with disappointing icing. Plus the cupcake wasn t a cupcake. Clearly not the team that prepares dinner, because usually dinner is extra. I will come back to it but not in the morning, that s clear. The excuse of the number of guests is inadmissible. If you cant serve that many people, why do it.

The place is beautiful and we are very comfortable. On the other hand, very disappointed with the flank steak, it was too burnt (the waiter had shown his cooking skills so I expected to have a good piece of meat cooked perfectly, but what was my disappointment when I saw it a lot overcooked). Otherwise, the Caesar salad was excellent and the dessert. When you go there you must not be in a hurry, it was very long. We arrived at 6:15 a.m. and received our meal at 9:00 a.m. and dessert at 10:00 a.m. A little disappointed also to have to ask for water often.

We chose this place for a shower of just over 50 people with the brunch formula. It was beyond my expectations. The employees, like Léonard and chef Noémie, are welcoming and attentive. If you have a special event, do not hesitate to contact them.

Brunch between adults for a birthday. Decent workers plate, really good French toast, decent eggs benedict with ham because the sauce lacked taste, but really good shredded ham.

Simply inedible. Pear and ricotta toast: bread not toasted and cold, no seasoning on the ricotta, unripe pears (served even with the core of the pear). Sauce that tastes absolutely nothing. The accompanying fruits are stale, especially the clementine. For the plate of eggs benedict with bacon and onion rings you had to look for the hollandaise sauce, the poached eggs were almost boiled eggs, THE (only one cut in half) onion ring was completely charred. The bacon was almost burnt. Zero seasoning again. I would like to thank my brother-in-law for the gift certificate. At least we didnt have to pay for this more than disappointing meal!

Very pleasant time, exquisite food, friendly waiter and waitress. First experience and honestly I cant wait to go back. Succulent snails, aranchini too and the champion pasta with succulent truffle oil. Honestly very pleasantly surprised. Bravo to all of you.

We were a group. Everyone seemed to enjoy the meal. My partner chose the fish and chips and I the beef tartare. Absolutely delicious. Starters and desserts (crème brûlée and cheesecake) equally good. Impeccable service from Louis. Everything was perfect. We recommend without hesitation.

Update After writing to the restaurant, I was told to follow up, unfortunately I never heard back afterwards. They wanted me to believe that a follow-up would be done. In short, avoid this restaurant that lacks respect for its customers. I dont understand the good reviews...maybe these are people for whom a BYOB restaurant is what matters??? The decor is not happy, it is dark and noisy, it lacks warmth. The staff is in a hurry, no one comes to see if everything is ok. The food is nothing extraordinary for the price, it lacks finesse. I found a hard piece in my soup, notified the waiter who said I would check in the kitchen. We were served the main course and still no news about this intruder in the soup...we were presented with the bill, so you will agree with me that the service is nonchalant. We are just numbers and are served like on an assembly line. Message to Mr. Perreault, it is not enough to just put together a menu, you must ensure that what happens in the dining room is done according to the rules of the art, and adjust the service and the dishes if necessary. If this restaurant survives, for me, it will be due to the fact that we can bring our own wine, too bad. The goal of providing people with a good meal in good company is completely missed, and the place is too noisy.

A friendly space, sober decor. The service is present and discreet, the tolerance towards customers, who celebrate is a point most appreciated, even if we are at the end of service! We will return there to discover the menu for the next season!

Excellent meal. Absolutely nothing negative to say. The snails as a starter were simply delicious. The cream too. Steak cooked to perfection, tender and well seasoned. I loved my tartare. Beautiful warm atmosphere. We were on a very quiet bench seat. The service was very attentive. We didnt feel the urgency of having to leave to free up the place, it was very pleasant. Plus, they have discounted table dhôte days, and its bring your own wine! A very nice discovery, I will definitely go back. Especially since the menu offers several choices which all look delicious.

We were a group of 16 so we had a group menu (lots of varieties) and we were in a separate room from the restaurant. Everything was going well until another group of around thirty people arrived in this same room. It became deafeningly loud. Impossible to talk to each other from that moment on. Which changed our evening slightly. Its not the restaurateurs fault but it still made me not want to go back. Now lets talk food. The treat offered by the house at the start of the evening was a cube of salmon gravlax. I chose the salmon tartare as a starter but unfortunately it had a very pronounced fishy aroma (which you dont usually find in a tartare). My boyfriend chose the arancini with ribs, which were much more interesting but small and not much meat. My dish was succulent: the duck and mushroom ravioli. My boyfriends fish and chips were also very good. For dessert: the portions were disproportionate compared to the rest of the evening and much less fine. The crème brûlée was good but the blondie was a big cube of sugar. We havent finished it. All in all a mixed experience. (Bring your own wine and the price for two with tip over $160)

Very noisy restaurant, difficult to have a discussion without shouting! The waitress did not know her products ordered a beef tartare I asked without Buffalo sauce inedible too spicy for my taste not finished my plate the Argentinian shrimps really too small they didnt look homemade!!! The waitress didnt ask us if we liked our meal and didnt know if we needed anything during the meal, I had to ask for bread twice!! And he doesnt leave salt or pepper on the tables! In short, I wont go back and dont recommend it either.

I returned on December 31st from the Sainte Julie restaurant, it was really very good. From the welcome to the service and the quality of the menu. Nothing to say except good things. I highly recommend it.

We organized our baby shower for 25 people at the cooks around 11am on a Sunday. Normally, when we order flank steak, they have to put larugula in the dishes and by surprise, it was curly parsley! A little not good, you will have understood. Then, 20 minutes before having our first coffees. Arrive at 11:15 a.m., eat at 12:45 p.m. We were hungry. Dinner arrives, cold. Be careful COFFEE REFILL IS LOADED!!!!!!! $3 Refill

Today was my shower. The brunch had been booked since September with one of the former chefs who was also the host and she knew us very well! Since September we had reservations for 25 people despite the fact that the room can accommodate up to 40 people. The organizers of my shower had confirmed the reservation for 25 people and had also asked how late we could stay given that the brunch was from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. She had it confirmed that we could stay until 4 p.m., it was only the kitchens that closed at 2 p.m. Everyone arrived on time, the restaurant was not crowded. From the start, the head waitress said There aren t 40 of us after all in a very cold and dry tone. We are offered regular coffees (filter coffee), almost 20 minutes of waiting to receive them. Some of my friends had time to finish a bottle of sparkling wine before receiving their ice cream, which was requested 2-3 times. A water bottle broke the bottom to let go and it all spilled on me, no help was provided in a timely enough manner as we had time to clean everything up before someone came with it a washcloth and a broom. Then we ordered and received our cold meals at 12:30. No one came to check on us to see if we liked the food or if we needed anything else. The waitresses came back to remove the plates still accompanied by their equally cold attitude. We start little games about the upcoming baby and the waitress comes back to ask how we are going to go about the bills because it is around 1:30 p.m. We closed the door to the room so as not to disturb, but a waiter kept coming back to open it. Unfortunately when going to the toilet the organizers were talking together and mentioned that they did not appreciate the service and the attitude of a particular waitress, that it could affect the tip percentage when paying, not knowing that the waitress in question was in the toilet. The latter came back into the room, interrupting a pleasant moment of an activity to take them aside and confront them about what they had said in the toilet. They explained themselves and no excuses were given apart from more confrontations from the waitress. When the time came to pay, we noticed that the filter coffees cost $3, and the refills too! I ordered the ravioli which normally comes with arugula was filled with parsley. The dishes were cold. My mother asked for a well-done burger and her burger was pink in the middle. In addition, the waiter who came to clean heard my friend explain the situation of the toilets to a member of my family and reported everything to the waitress again. The atmosphere was ruined by these people, starting the brunch with a condescending remark saying that there are not 40 of us when that was never the case. To have SUPER slow service and then be rushed to leave? We wont go back there again. I absolutely no longer recommend this restaurant.

First visit and what a bad experience. From the start we felt that we were disturbing. We reserved the room for a baby shower. We confirmed that we would not be 40 people but less than 25. Despite having confirmed the number of people a few days before, it was like a surprise for them. What can I say about the comfort of the room. No middle ground. Too hot or the air conditioning. The dishes received were cold for some. The cooking of the meats was not respected. The fries were already salty. They were also too salty. No pepper or salt on the tables. What can also be said about the second and subsequent coffees which were charged at $3 each. No one came to ask us if we were satisfied with our dishes. To the staff who wanted to teach a lesson about tipping, know that it is an appreciation of the service. If we dont have any, we dont give any. 0 is not an option on Google because that is the rating I would have given.

Easter brunch menu, April 9, 2023 The service was a disaster. At our table of 8, 2 people did not have their dishes. We were finished when we finally got someone to report that 2 plates were missing. The starter trays arrived without the pastries, the potatoes were missing, we had no utensils left for dessert, no way to find someone to bring them to us, so we shared a spoon... In short, never seen such a thing. One waitress for 8 tables... Mr. or Mrs. Manager... There are limits to stretching the elastic... The employees did their best but it was just too much...

Easter brunch so very noisy but the atmosphere is very good. Dedicated service. Good, well-cooked dishes for the majority.

Excellent service from our server Dennis! Everything was very good! Very well advised by our waiter, he offered us the slate of the day which was three courses, it was beyond our expectations. I had beef tartare, a treat with makis as a starter. Very reassuring point, they are concerned about allergies, he responded with confidence to my concern regarding a dish. A big positive point, my daughter loves bloody cesar and it was not available on the menu at that time, Dennis offered to make her one of his own and my daughter really liked it a nice gesture on his part. Pleasant atmosphere, reasonable price given the quality of the dishes. A restaurant to discover!

Me and my daughter went to this restaurant on Friday 05-05 at 7 p.m. This restaurant is in the top 10 best restaurants on the South Shore. We had consulted the map and it caught our attention. When we entered the restaurant I felt attacked by the very loud noise of the customers conversations on the premises. Then we were brought to our small table of 2 located at a distance of 18 inches on either side of the customers to our right and left. No intimate dinner or intimate conversation in this place. Where is the warm environment mentioned on their website? Don t forget that the price of the plates and the reputation of the restaurant should at least offer us a better gastronomic experience. A very nice waiter but overwhelmed by the quantity of customers to serve. He offers us the menu of the day, a mix of seafood but we prefer to choose à la carte. It s a bring your own wine place which is good. Our choices of starters: Shrimp for my daughter and Snails for me, main dishes: Bavette for my daughter, Filet mignon for me then to finish it all off: Crème brûlée for my daughter and Creamy chocolate verrine for me. The shrimp are nothing special especially since they are very small and the breading offers nothing more than fat. Déjà vu and a dish not at all worth the asking price. The snail starter was a little more appreciated but still, no wow factor in my mouth. The flank steak was cooked to perfection and so was my filet mignon, but always in the spirit that this type of restaurant should have a little something extra, we both remained hungry for a better culinary experience. The blue cheese crumble on my filet mignon certainly didnt add a plus but on the contrary it left a bad taste in our mouths. Forget parmesan potato croquettes. I felt like I was biting into something breaded that had been cooked in warm oil for a long time and had been soaked in this fat. The crème brûlée, for its part, lacked cooking and was very liquid and my verrine was just ok, nothing more. The dishes lacked taste and originality. The 100 years of experience of the restaurant management team is not felt in this restaurant. Several irritants to correct, starting with the number of people in this place. Better to have less and truly deliver the WARM experience promised than to have more and feel oppressed by noise and lack of space. Did this restaurant meet the expectations we had based on the comments? Absolutely not. I would not recommend this restaurant and I would not return, especially knowing that the competition is fierce in this area and that there are plenty of other restaurants waiting for us.

We went on a Tuesday and the restaurant was almost empty, the service was good and the decor is pretty. On the other hand, I noticed that the wine glasses were dirty on almost every table and my partners chair was also dirty. I took the burger and the patty was charred. My partner had the trout fillet and found the dish very fatty. So our experience was not very good.

Im surprised at the other reviews. I was very disappointed with the bib. The cooking was not as requested, but I could have wiped that clean. But the flavors werent there for us. Too many spices, drabe sauce. Fries excellent but very salty. The service was OK, nothing to say.

Despite the fact that there was no electricity, we had excellent service, the dishes were exceptional and quite plentiful.

The cuisine lacks finesse for the price. And its not a question of preference but of the basics of cooking: The salmon tartare was too salty and the lemon verrine dessert and the crème brûlée were too sweet. I wont go back there.

What nonchalant service from the runners. The manager is very nice but lacks coordination in the service. 2 for $48 on Sunday, well were going to rethink the slightly molassed pork cheek in a sauce that leaves something to be desired. Its not great tonight. Before, it wasnt like that. Really disappointed this evening. On the terrace, the flies were a little too present and a solution would need to be found quickly.

First visit to this restaurant Saturday July 15 for dinner. The decor is very well arranged. We feel that this was thought out and well executed. The employees are content and happy. Lots of dialogue with them, very pleasant. The food, whether starters, meals and desserts, are impeccable, tasty and different. Thank you for this beautiful moment. We will definitely return. Gilbert & Martine Parking: If the restaurant had been full, parking would have been more difficult.

I wish I could give a better rating but this restaurant is rather ordinary, both in terms of food and service. The makis were delicious but came with what seemed like an impossible to chew fried soybean leaf. The ravioli was tasty but the sauce was filled with parsley stalks. The dish lacked finesse. My partner had to ask for a steak knife to be able to eat his flank steak. Unfortunately, these two services did not make us want to taste the desserts offered. A somewhat disappointing experience in the end.

I must say that everything was very good, the cook Sophie did us a favor and prepared us a delicious homemade dish, and she took the time to explain to us the dishes we had chosen.

I wont go back there again! Too lit atmosphere, they should dim the lights for a better atmosphere. We were a table of 8 people, the pasta was excellent, nothing to say, the meat I think was excellent flank steak BUT THE SAUCE THAT CAME WITH IT WAS HORRIBLE and the fries that came with it arrived much too long after serving the plate which ultimately meant that the flank steak plate wasnt the best, the cockerel plates werent great either. Disappointed. Except for the arancini which deserves 5 stars as well as the accompanying sauce. Unfortunately the pork fillets cooked to perfection served in generous portions...all spoiled by a sauce with the taste of smoked paprika...the dish arrives and we are already invaded by the smell of this paprika where is the refinement of the Périgourdine sauce announced on the menu. I even pointed out the fact at the service so no one can blame me for not having said it at the time. Did we make a mistake in offering this sauce?? No intention of going back even though our waitress was efficient and professional in every way. The no of Mr. Ian Perreault on the menu is not enough, good taste must follow on the plate.

For the price, the dishes lack preparation and taste. My partner had the pork cheek which was bland, the same for the side dish. My trout was good as was the sauce but I was looking for the leeks which should accompany the dish and a slice of tomato felt lonely on the plate. At more than $35 per dish, we expect more refined dishes. Also, no option without meat or fish. The desserts were good and plentiful. A plus for BYOB.

My friend and I had a soup as a starter. The bread crumble as described in the menu was missing. My beef Babette was in a pepper sauce that was much too spicy for this type of meat, my friend and my partner tasted it and didnt like it either. The cooked vegetables were more raw than cooked. The dessert (chocolate tartlet) was unfortunately difficult to eat. Impossible to cut with a spoon because it was so hard, taste too sweet, texture not super appetizing. The waitress never came by during the meal to ask us if everything was ok (I didnt even have a steak knife!!!) It took about 45 minutes to receive the bill (I had to ask twice) . Very disappointed!

The sauce on the pork cheek dish is terrible, the entire dish was ruined by the sauce (like Diana rib sauce) We will come back for service, we had to serve ourselves the wine. Dish not available on the menu. A somewhat hasty Friday evening dinner in 45 minutes. For the reasons mentioned I do not recommend this restaurant, disappointing!

The tables for 2 people are way too close, its ridiculous. It feels like were having dinner with our neighbors at a table for 6. No privacy for a couples dinner.

First visit. It was good overall. Large piece of rillettes with a small crouton. Delicious snails. Perfect filet mignon cooking. Disappointed with the salmon tartare, little flavor, not cold enough and without texture. Delicious crème brûlée. I had problems usually associated with a staph infection (it leaves a bad impression overall) I wont be going back in the near future. Service too fast.

Usually I prefer to share positive comments, especially since the catering field is very difficult on many levels but we still need to see improvements over the last 11 months or the comments unfortunately resemble ours! I cannot contain my disappointment at the poor presentation of the dishes, the lack of generous portions in relation to the price, the very ordinary service and the non-existent atmosphere. I was accompanied by my husband who was celebrating his 62nd birthday, so I hoped, despite several mixed reviews on your site, that we would have a lovely evening! The fairly ordinary starters, bland shrimp and presentation worthy of a delicatessen , ancestral tomato and buffala salad....the waitress informed me that the plate is generous for $24...well we dont Dont we have the same definition? Filet mignon as a main course, nice portion served with a sauce that seemed to be a demi glace in a sachet served on what seemed to be a brown colored vegetable pancake, no other accompaniment then for me a mini starter of beef tartare with extra fries. Had to ask for bread because only 2 tiny croutons on the plate. We wanted to have dessert but the waiter told us that 2 desserts were no longer available on the menu oufff not very good! The utensils were stained, the atmosphere noisy even though we were secluded! It seems that the opinions of the last 11 were not read since we noticed the same weaknesses! Damage !

Very disappointing experience! Although the concept of Brunch/bring your own wine is interesting, the service and food makes it much less enjoyable. Very long order taking, no smile from the waitress. Bland, tasteless food. Needed to ask several times for salt/pepper as well as additional napkins (following a damage). The cook dropped the salt shaker on my bib. The only waitress came much later to ask about my assessment and I returned the dish. Even much later (she was visibly overwhelmed) I was offered another dish, but... my partner had already finished and my hunger was gone. I was still charged the full amount. I went back there this Saturday after going there for my office Christmas dinner last Thursday. What a disappointment and upon arrival. Attitude and interpersonal skills at reception which leaves something to be desired. Very noisy. The customers are numbers and only signs of $$ for this restaurant. At this price, I really expect better! You arrive and you are already notified that you have to leave 2 hours later! Even if it s their service that is slow and doesn t work. A big zero. I will continue my gourmet meals at home!

There were 6 of us at the table and only one of us was satisfied. Our server was great, a real pro. But the food honestly, not edible. The salmon tartars were very poorly arranged, it just tasted like sriracha, my steak arrived cold blue, I had ordered it ms. The presentations were not original or beautiful, the portions were very small and all this for $60 per person. Really disappointed with my experience.

Le 2 étoiles est malheureux, mais il provient de lattitude de la serveuse quand nous avons lui avons poliment demandé le menu du dîner à 19$ le plat. This Saturday, December 16, we were a group of 12 family to celebrate our Christmas. This restaurant was highly recommended to me. From the moment I entered, I was delighted by the decoration and sobriety. A beautiful classic restaurant. Excellent food. The tartares, fish n chip, flank steak, mushroom pasta were delicious. Where it went wrong was that we were friends on the summer terrace. More beautiful scenery for us. Only tables with plastic as seen to close the terrace. The heating was terrible... an air vent was directly over our heads. It was very hot, even too hot. And as soon as the waiters where people opened the door, the air became very cold. We. Asked the waiters to close the door when they came in and out but it never did. We were the ones who constantly got up to close that door. It was cold enough to put our coats back on. One thing it was -10 or -15 degrees So, you can imagine the story. Put on coats, take off coats. Not very pleasant to eat. The food got cold pretty quickly. I saw inside that they have a room for groups of 10 people and more, with nice decor and everything. No heating problem for them. When I spoke to the young man at reception about it, he told me that they only have one room for groups. So why are we parking on the terrace with deficient heating? So, I warn you, if you book for a group in winter, ask them to be in the restaurant and not on the terrace . I would have preferred to have been told that there was no more room, that the indoor group room was taken. I swear, it s ugly to be on the terrace in winter. Not ready to return it. My entire group was not satisfied. I dont think Ill set foot in this restaurant again anytime soon. What we dont do to have more money. Parking: Near the restaurant, there was no more room for our dinner at 7 p.m., we had to go and park at Barbies, opposite. Luckily it wasnt too cold to walk a little
