I was put in a very unpleasant situation with an employee. I had a loyal customer. He said mean things to me without me saying anything and insulted me in front of everyone.

Great place to study, work in a group or have a coffee alone and relax. Not too noisy. The price of coffee seems reasonable to me and there are several options under or around $5.

After years of visiting Les Allumées with my son, we were very disappointed in the way he was treated on our last visit. He was asked, very unkindly, to stop playing the piano, even though people really enjoy hearing him play. On previous visits, other customers have even come to compliment him. It s unfortunate to feel unwanted in a place we loved. If your goal is to become as flat as a Starbucks or a Second Cup, well, thats where well go in the future. Its a shame to see a unique place push away its loyal customers. Suggestion: put a good big padlock on your piano, and let it gather dust in peace.

One of the places I love the most in Sainte-Therese. A very pleasant atmosphere with good service. The place is very lively and friendly. There is a wide variety of things to taste.

Tried some of their pastries and food but honestly each time I got disappointed (once got a cookie and tasted burnt with an after taste from a breakfast sandwich they probably heated up previously) but drinks and coffees are worth it!

Les Allumées offer excellent service and good products. You will be surprised by the sometimes high traffic, but that does not reduce the pleasure. A little coffee for the road, a pastry for a snack or a full meal, there is something for everyone. If you are near there, avoid the big commercial chains, Les Allumées offers a lot better!

N allez surtout pas là si vous voulez un sandwich sans gluten comme ils l offrent si bien sur leur menu. Ça fait 2 fois que je me déplace pour aller manger et étudier et qu ils me refusent de m en faire un car ils « n ont pas le temps » et sont trop occupés avec la réception de leur commande. Pire service. Ça ne vaut définitivement pas le détour.

What a magnificent discovery in 2024 for me! The espresso or latte coffee is sublime and full of flavor! I like the very friendly atmosphere, the piano available for customers, the original sandwiches, the desserts that are so good! And fast, courteous service and always in French! My favorite 2024!

Love this place..a great local café with great staff and home made food.. Local CEGEP crowd and Ste Therese regulers.. One thing that i would recommend to the Owners.. Dont let the students hog the tables for hours sipping one coffee and doing their work on laptops.. I think all customers should be allowed the best tables near the windows.. How about a max internet time and max sitting without purchase. Other than that the place is top!!! Vegetarian options: Wraps and salads

This is one of my favorite cafes in Sainte-Thérèse. I like the ambiance and its a comfortable place with armchairs. A beautiful and very good choice of meals cooked on site. Possibility of gluten-free dessert too! In short, their coffee is good, the food is good and I have always been very well received. I feel good there!

Super nice place, unfortunately the coffee is of terribly poor quality. I understand that your main customers are young students or elderly people and that you do not want to invest in 3rd wave or even a quality grain. But at least buy Lavazza at Costco when its on special or get rid of the Rocket and buy Nespresso capsules. Honestly, in terms of taste and freshness, you are way behind everyone else. Its a shame for real coffee lovers. Unfortunately, for this reason, I no longer frequent your establishment, although I find it inviting. The pastries from another artisan were good. Several episodes of bad service also over the years for example a latte without coffee! But hey, I imagine it s not easy to find staff. I want to encourage the businesses in my neighborhood, but the quality is simply not there (as far as the coffee is concerned), the main reason for this establishment.

It s always a pleasure to go to Les Allumées. The atmosphere of the terrace in summer is refreshing with the church next door, the trees, the piano opposite and the people and cyclists walking there.

3.5 Super nice bright place and ideally located in the heart of Sainte-Thérèse. Perfect for working, the premises are large and well designed to accommodate student clients. Lots of choice, its always nice to encourage businesses with a great offer for vegetarian/gluten-free/vegan customers. On the other hand, the prices are much too high for the quality of the products. The coffee is okay, but having to pay an extra $1.25 for oat milk, for me, is excessive. The food is good, but nothing more. Not worth the detour unless youre already in the area.

I would SO love to give it a 5 star because its certainly one of the most beautiful cafes on the North Shore of Montreal and the food is great, delicious and diverse. In addition, you can borrow board games and have a good time there. Not to mention that they encourage lots of talented Quebec artists and artisans by selling their products in stores. Big crush on the almond croissant. Hes rolling on the ground. BUT..... and its a GIANT BUT.... I cant give more than 3 stars to this business which I would love even more if only THEY HAD GOOD COFFEE! Its almost absurd that such a beautiful place that could attract people from all over would serve such bad coffee. And Im a coffee fan, a real one! I visit the various third wave cafés all over Quebec. Les Allumés is one of the cutest and nicest coffee shops... with the worst tasting coffee! I gave them a chance 3 times. Mocha, Cappuccino, Latté, Iced Coffee.... Its their coffee flavor thats not good. Taste nothing, taste bland... Moreover, on one of the three occasions, we were served by a girl who clearly didnt care about satisfying her customer because the latte she made only tasted... milk hot. Point. Really sad to pay $5 for that! It s as if this magnificent place is selling us dreams. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CHANGE YOUR COFFEE AND IMPROVE THE BARISTA TRAINING OF SOME OF YOUR EMPLOYEES. You have the potential to be in the most beautiful and popular coffee shops in Quebec... What a waste your coffee is. The food is sublime, change it up.

Bel endroit pour étudier, il y a beaucoup de places et de prises électriques contrairement à d autres cafés. La musique est bonne. Le service de nettoyage des tables est ordinaire par contre. Tu dois ramasser toi-même les assiettes des anciens clients s ils ne l ont pas fait comme supposé & laver la table. Des « rounds » de nettoyage plus fréquents seraient parfait !
