Excellent service! Best Griot in the town.
If you are traveling to the Montreal, Laval part of Canada, La Griottine is definitely a place to stop by to grab a bite to eat. Food was delicious, setting was good, food are freshly made, I ordered the fritay everything was on point, I definitely recommend everyone to stop by, LA Griottine.
Omg this is the best Haitian food I have had in a very long time. And their customer service is amazing. I ordered through UberEats and they called me because they didn’t have what I ordered available. The lady was very apologetic and so nice. First time having their food and won’t be the last. The Pate Kode are HUGE and so delicious.
The food is not that tasty & there’s no salad or macaroni as a side . They give me a wrong order just because they guess that I wanted something instead of asking.
I enjoyed a meal of fish, turkey, and chicken, all served with white rice. It was not only delicious but also freshly prepared. The gentleman serving was exceptionally pleasant and polite. Nevertheless, if you're short on time, I recommend placing your order in advance.
The food was delicious! When I got there to pick up my order, the nice man serving me said that they were out of rice and beans and that it wouldn't be ready for another 25 min. To rectify the issue, he offered that I try the white rice with sauce pois, I said sure. The griot was fabulous, no fat at all, very tender and lots of it! I enjoyed the white rice with sauce pois( first time having it, will def order again) and he even gave me a side order of legumes to apologize for the rice not being ready. Will absolutely order from them again!
Excellent is the word. Everything tasted great and fresh. This was my first, of many visits to come. Thank you for opening in the neighborhood. Sainte-Thérèse deserves this establishment.
One of my kids ordered the Chicken plate, I ordered the plate of Grio, and we both shared our plates with my other son. The food was Absolutely delicious. The meats from both orders, as well as the Bananes peser were perfectly cooked (No hard pieces) and to me that is an A+ We also had a taste of their Légumes, and Wow! It was very good. My kids ate most of it so, my next order will surely be a full plate, juste for me ah! ah! The Website is very easy to understand, as well as to navigate. Customer services was very professionnal, with just enough to make you feel right at home. I would recommande this place to everyone.

DISAPPOINTED! , before the new owners the food was EXCELLENT. everything was tasty. Since the change: the sauce is extremely oily and flavorless. The macaroni salad definitely has an aftertaste... And more than half of our griot dishes are chicken in addition to the large, fatty and super dry pieces. The only canvas I give to the pikliz. Really disappointing.

Ill start with the positive, the rice is good. Thats all! For the negatives...dry and greasy griot. (how do they do it??) Macaroni isnt very good either. The sauce lacks taste and is liquid like water and tasteless! Pikliz is more of a juice than anything else. To be honest, Im totally disappointed. I had trusted the restaurants rating on Google but I shouldnt have trusted the people of Sainte Therese to judge a good griot. In Laval or Montreal this restaurant would be rated below 2.5 or would be closed. Very sad for the people who work there I was still well served (but thats the basis) I dont recommend this place at all to eat a good griot
Truly excellent! Recently moved to Ste-Thérèse and I was craving pikliz and bananas. I was not disappointed. The griot and rice are very good too! Very generous portions as well.
le plat est super bon ,griot bon,riz bon ,plantin bon,pikliz bon,sauce bonne le seule inconvenient cest la salade de macaroni elle nest pas super fraiche mais sinon overall je donne un 8.2/10 je vous recommande mais ne soyez pas surpris pour la salade de macaroni. Les boissons sont excessivement chère 3$ le 591 mL . Je vous recommande dy aller.

the food taste the oil reuse several times. The chip is not even good, the kid lasts like the sole of a boot, the owner or the worker complains about the parking lot when the parking lot is empty.

Ive been going to this restaurant for 1 year already and Im never disappointed, the portions are very generous, the service is impeccable, the people are always smiling and welcoming, in terms of taste it reminds me of my childhood when I lived in Haiti and that represents well our culture frankly I advise you very good place and very affordable price :)

We arrived at 1 p.m. the rice wasnt ready we waited 30 minutes to get some (it was a take out). In short, the food is quite good. Good portions. The rice on the other hand was a little dry. The food is good but there is room for improvement.

Superb experience at La Griottine this afternoon! Delicious food, everyone enjoyed it and agreed that it was a really good introduction to Creole food. In addition, we had an exceptional welcome! When booking, my friend mentioned that this was a special occasion for us. To our surprise, the table that was prepared for us included a special tablecloth, decorative plates and centerpieces. Super nice staff! Its definitely worth the detour! Nice discovery :)

Welcoming staff. Excellent griot, the pork is very tender and without superfluous fat. The plantain is perfect, not hard at all. The rice is good, the sauce a little too salty. The pikliz is beginner level, not spicy enough . Very generous portions. Finally a good Creole restaurant in the region! We will return to try other dishes for sure!

Great discovery in Sainte-Thérèse. The food is very good. I ate a coded pâté and the griot plate, I got my moneys worth. The service is also great, much better than other restaurants in the area. It wont be our last time!

I ordered the fried chicken. I received some roast chicken. It was extremely good. Served with a large quantity of rice and macaroni salad. A sort of broth sauce that goes well with rice and some sort of small frying (Im not sure what it was but I think its made with bananas).

The worst sticky rice I have eaten in my entire life all wet rice tasted that guy. The macaroni salad looked like it was rotten, the chicken had no flavor, it only tasted like oil, the only thing that saved it was the plantains (nothing to do with the previous owner)

The rice was not good, the griot as big as my hand, macaroni salad tasted like ham not fresh, the bananas ok, the sauce extremely too salty. I took an extra from Accra it was good. 1/10 and the 1st for the accras. In the photo you can clearly see that we ate little...

Wow but what a wonderful surprise at Ste Thérèse A Caribbean restaurant north of Laval the staff is very kind. for the moment I have tasted the griot 8/10 Collated rice 9/10 (real good diri kole) Chicken curry 10/10 we think we are in Jamaica Haitian Paté 9/10 nice crust Next test jerk chicken and vegetables. No, its not spicy, but season and spice up yes and its delicious. Ps The pikliz is not put in the robot a nice texture and just robust enough to awaken the taste buds without tearing.... Really congratulations to the chef The portions are beautiful and inviting My new fix

Finally, excellent Caribbean cuisine in Ste-Thérèse. We had the chicken wings as well as the chicken curry. Next time we will try the griot and the jerk chicken! The macaroni salad is excellent as well as the pikliz, which is perfectly spicy. Small downside for the meat sauce, I found it a little too oily for my taste. Super friendly staff, we will definitely come back!!
