I recently visited this restaurant, and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise! The food was absolutely outstanding—especially the onion soup and the steak tartare, which were both perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Our experience was made even better thanks to Stephanie, who took care of us with incredible attention and warmth. Her friendly and professional service really stood out and elevated the entire evening. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food and exceptional service, this is definitely worth a visit!
Been here 15-20 times never get disappointed! Food is great and reasonably priced for it's quality and originality. The menu changes regularly (hence the restaurants name) so you never get bored of it. Try it youll be pleased.
Great ambiance and food. I really enjoy sitting at the kitchen counter and watch the staff at work. Their tartares are to die for! If you’re not sure what tartare you’re in the mood for, then you’re in luck! They offer a tartare trio dish that includes beef, tuna and salmon tartare.

Great place with great food! They had a band playing the jight we were there. I got the seafood platter 45$. The seafood was fresh and enough for one person. I got a creme bruler trio but not a fan at all it was mor of a pudding with caramelised sugar on top not a creme. their wine selection is really good as well. My friends got the salmon tartar wich was also great. I would say that it is a little more expensive than average but worth it especially in the summer time.
Nice place with good ambience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of food options including gluten-free tartare. Stiff long island ice teas as well. Check it out if you're in the area!
Despite no reservations they still accommodated us and the service was ~excellent~. They even offered to relocate our table when a large reserved party showed up. The food was lightening quick and hot. We shared a picnic platter for 2, which was like an appetizer tasting menu. No disappointments there. Had drinks that were on and off their menu plus the staff was just amazing the whole time, people passed by for water/orders/making sure you were happy every so often, more than you'd expect. Finally, dessert was the canolli with an apple compote base napped in caramel and it was BOMB. Plus, open kitchen concept which I want to go back for since they seat people at a bar staring right at the action. Considering the 5 chain restaurants we went to before walking into this one, it has by FAR exceeded my expectations for service, quality and taste of food and ambiance.
Over super experience! Great food! Good service and cool staff. The quality of the food was great. It’s a trendy place which make it busy so it’s not a quiet place at all which was expected. Reservation isn’t needed but it is very recommended. Only thing and why I gave it 4* is that it’s a little on the pricy side of things. For this quality/staff/service VS the prices that they charge especially for drinks I would expect just a notch higher to justify the price but this is all subjective. Non the less it is defiantly a place to try.

Horrible let me explain, the food excellent, the service very good until I was told to leave at 8:30 a.m. because there was a group after us. The manager saw that I was never notified and asked to speak to the owner without success. The next group threatened to break our legs and attacked us in the entrance. Ive never seen that. A Christmas dinner ruined by a bad management decision. Moreover, the group was 40 people even though there were 20 of us and the restaurant was full. Anything
L ardoise is the restaurant that you will never be disappointed! The quality of their food, the quantity, the staff & the atmosphere, everything is always perfect. Try the food orgy on Tuesday/Wednesday. Its worth it, a beautiful platter for two people to share. On Thursdays, there is a different singer every week. Unquestionably my favorite restaurant. Pssst: their homemade donuts with jam and caramel are excellent!!
We had the salad and cornflake shrimp as a starter, the tomahawk platter to share as a main course and the fritters for dessert and everything was really delicious! Special mention for the extraordinary service of Maxence, the sommelier, who presented and served our wine to us with expertise and an obvious passion for his work, which definitely enhanced our experience. Another special mention to one of the waiters, Tommy, who gave us warm and thoroughly friendly service. Thank you everyone for this fabulous evening!

The beef shoulder, from the blackboard menu, was delicious: tender and tasty! The tuna tartare was just okay for my taste. The starter of Greek salad with squid was very good and generous. Impeccable and attentive service, warm and welcoming atmosphere!

We were there yesterday for the first time, we were well received and very well served by Hugo! The food is super good. They offered us a dessert tasting platter when they found out it was my birthday and the first time at their place thank you for your warm welcome and your generosity!! We also recommend that you go try it! You will never regret! You deserve more than a 5 star

Excellent meal and service!
The ingredients are quality, the techniques are mastered, but the meals lack flavor... My wife and I had a tuna tataki where the best part of the meal was a cube of fried rice. We also tasted a smoke meat croquette whose meat was so chopped that we lost the coveted texture and flavor of a good smoke meat. Our main course, the beef and salmon tartare, left us, once again, half fig, half grape. We tried to speak with the waitress to express our dissatisfaction, but the poor thing was running around welcoming customers. I wish the restaurant and its team the best of luck, as they have the full potential to be delicious. That said, considering the price paid, go to Chez Lionel on the other side of the street, you will come out more satisfied!

If I could have put 0, I would have done so. Apart from the welcome by a friendly young man, nothing was going well. The waitress forced our hand every 5 minutes so that we ordered food straight away, the drinks were not particularly good (but not bad either), the food was bland, tasteless and excessively expensive, the beer selection is mediocre and ordinary. In addition, the atmosphere is noisy, the waiters spend more time leaning on a seat chatting than working but when we have to force ourselves to consume they are there! I will never come back, the bill for 2 dishes and 4 drinks was $145 it is indecent and insulting given the quality of the dishes served. I dont I don t understand the comments raving about this place. Its not worth more than $80 tips and tax included.
The staff and the really relaxed atmosphere and the extraordinary cuisine
Exceptional!! We simply LOVED our evening at the l ardoise restaurant. Very nice discovery, we were charmed from start to finish, top service and OMG cuisine, absolutely beautiful for the eyes and the stomach!!! Being a big fan of onion soup I can say that it is one of the best I have eaten and the mamamia risotto, the childrens menu is TOP crazy. I think no, Im sure that this address is one of our favorite restaurants and what the heck weve been to but its the address where you go out but you know full well that youre going to come back. I took a few photos but they don t do justice but it always gives an idea Parking: Easy Kid-friendliness: Top childrens menu we chose the dish 2 mini burgers with fries but as a starter she had 2 breaded mozzarella sticks and a Beautiful chocolate mousse with crunchy dessert. I can tell you that the choice and the menu are fantastic.

Personally I give a 2 because 1 would have been uncooked food or an argument with an employee. Really disappointed or even insulting our experience. Terrible service, we were forgotten or left stranded more than once. The waitress was either on her cell or with a table that appeared to be her friends. Otherwise the food is very bad! Carpaccio dripping only vinegar, bland merguez pogo, overcooked lamb, ultra dry mini burger. Nothing to go back to. To think that we left Lionels to respect our reservation.
Impeccable service, I ate a perfectly grilled shrimp and scallop risotto. We received good advice for wine :-) The atmosphere is festive, but the restaurant is not too noisy. A great outing!

We were served cold ribs. The starters were good, but serving a cold main course is unacceptable. We were offered dessert at no charge, but still.

First time for me at this restaurant and I loved it! Great service, the onion soup gratin was really delicious!! I really enjoyed sitting at the bar, its fun to see the cooks at work but it makes you want to try everything! I found my cocktail a little expensive, but it was super good! We didnt have time to try the desserts because we had to leave but there was cotton candy on them!!! Only downside, difficult to park

We booked a group of 30 people at the host bar. Excellent service from the employees but on the other hand for the food having an 8 course like this is laughing at the world $100 per person and being entitled to mini bouche and be careful you are entitled to one. You dont have to be told twice. Perhaps review your menu because its portions are for children! We are a private group who must pay for their alcohol consumption with each drink. For having donated at least $8000 to your restaurant I am 0 impressed with the restaurant! I dont recommend at all!
This restaurant has lost its quality. TINY dishes (advice to good forks), very ordinary taste and absent service. Dont you dare mention this to the owner. He doesnt want to hear any comments that would be constructive. Not our first visit, but definitely our last.

We went to the restaurant to celebrate the birthday of a friend who rarely goes to restaurants. We wanted to take our time to mark this event. We were pushed in the back to ensure that our table was freed by 7:30 p.m. We finally left at 8:15 pm and there were at least 30 seats available. The idea of pushing customers into the restaurant to make room for potential customers in the future is not a good idea.

First visit for me to this restaurant. The two of us shared a platter of various foods, which is their Tuesday and Wednesday special. The pulled scoter could have been hotter and the salmon tartare was salty but the taste of these dishes was there. Great dining experience. Excellent service. Our server has great interpersonal skills and did an excellent job. I will return with pleasure.
1st visit yesterday evening, a Friday 6:00 p.m., sold out in September. There were 2 of us sitting at the kitchen bar I think. We had a DDC disco soleil, excellent as usual, followed by a beef burger and a fish and chip, they were devoured in no time at all. The welcome by the hostesses was very efficient and a sublime smile, the same for the service with our waitress (sorry I forgot her name, but if you replace her we will throw her flowers, same for the kitchen team who drives like crazy, the chef still took the time to come and ask us if everything was okay. Finally, as a veteran of the field, I noticed several small details which show me that this team is very well supervised and very well trained, which is good to see. (the only thing I would change a little are the directions in the parking lot, getting to the back is not easy and not enough space for 2 vehicles, those who want to get out, it could be dangerous)
Certainly a reference in the world of catering! A well-established and welcoming restaurant. Teamwork is remarkable among employees. The cocktails are good. The food is original and delicious. The atmosphere and decor are good! To do again soon!

I would have given 5 stars if it hadnt been for a chansioner who ruined the evening a bit. The music and the atmosphere was great before. The boomers with glasses down their noses were delighted but frankly it was unpleasant. The food was excellent and so were the drinks. Fast service and friendly staff.

Nice place but dish lacks flavor. The Seafood plate is disappointing with defrosted shrimp, a bland scallop ceviche the tartare meal is served without salad, without any side dishes. way too expensive!

Very nice experience! We werent sure about our seats at first (at the bar), but we loved it! Excellent food, impeccable service. We really liked being able to see the cooks at work directly. Super good service and the meal was tasty. But I didnt like the value for money. The meal we had was expensive ($180) for fried food to share, a tartare starter and onion soup. Still, they werent very expensive ingredients like steak or anything else. There were ten of us and we all had the same comment. We wont go back there.
