Petinos Valleyfield in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield

We found a fly in my mothers salad. I asked to speak to the owner and she replied well at least shes dead and whats more she was serious.

I dont go to restaurants often but if I do its definitely my best choice. The portions are generous and the staff are fantastic.

Very good restaurant, excellent service and I love the benches because the backs are high.

Always good for lunch and Always a lot of people but the service is very good, small recommendation given the traffic would be to leave a pitcher of water with ice on request.

Usually I go to Petinos in Vaudreuil. The potatoes at Petinos de Valleyfield had no spice. The ones in Vaudreuil have lots of BBQ style spices. I suggest the owner take a look and compare. Also, my glass and fork were dirty. Probably a dishwasher problem. Knowing that I only go there for the potatoes, it really affects my grade.

Truly a superb place! Such a welcoming service, the waitresses are very kind and in a good mood. Gluten-free option for celiacs. The food was delicious and what about the freshly squeezed orange juice Dietary restrictions: My partner is celiac and he was able to eat without problem because the restaurant had gluten-free options

Lots of choices on the menu, but my heart always goes to the simple bacon grilled cheese with their famous breakfast potatoes. So good, like in my childhood memories

A family restaurant where we are well received and where we fill up like pigs. The plates are beautiful and the portions are large at really reasonable prices. The breakfast potatoes are delicious We ve been there several times and the service and food is always excellent!

Impeccable service, but as I saw that the comments were favorable I tried it. The poached eggs full of water on the plate, the slice of pork so dry that it couldnt be cut even with a steak knife and three small fruits on the plate. I dont understand why people like it.

Bacon cooked in fryer. Soaked in oil and dry as Christs ears. The employees speak loudly in the kitchen and its disturbing. It was 2:15 p.m. on March 5, 2023 and it was my last visit.

I would love to eat there before it changes ownership since every time I go to Petinos in Valleyfield I am disappointed. The food has changed a bit and the last time I went the becun was very dry and the eggs were undercooked and were leaking egg whites. Pi the service is getting worse the more you pray. The waitress who is the new manager of the room was as stupid as these feet and she laughed at us while looking at us, it was really not a pleasant atmosphere. And the li hires staff who dont speak French, we cant even talk to them if we want something, or if we have a problem

This is 100% everything i want when i go to my home town and go out for what i consider a traditional breakfast. Long line. Food was alright. Very busy. Was basic in taste. Nothing that stood out to be super great.

For a meal at $60 for 2 plates and 2 smoothies, I would have expected better... take the trouble to specify no vegetables for my plate, it comes full of vegetables, I am told to remove them because it is only on the top when starting to eat, lots of onion in it too! I warn the waitress, they bring me another plate, still full of onion smoothie that tastes like milk, probably not enough fruit powder in it, in short at the price it costs, it should have been better

This was our first time back at this long standing restaurant since Covid, and we were not disappointed. The staff are all very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The restaurant is clean and well laid out. I was happy to see that have kept the plexiglass dividers between tables as it does provide a higher level of privacy. The menu is extensive and there is always a daily special menu. The dishes are fresh, tasty and generous. The price seems to be fair market value for the meal provided. We have only ever had lunch here and it is a very popular spot. There is sufficient parking in their own lot. There is a large seasonal outdoor patio. I am not an expert but I would say that the restaurant is handicap accessible but I cannot verify the the washrooms are. Nicd place, good food and great people. Highly recommend.

Petinos is a great place for breakfast

Passed by this breakfast place on the weekend and was, all in all, a good experience. Food was good. The quantity and quality of the food for the $ is right on par with other competitors in the area. Eggs, ham, bacon, potatoes and toast for my wife and I and nothing bad to say. Pancakes for the kids and it was marvelous. My only quam is that the space is very tight vs other places. I will definitely return. The potatoes were particularly good and I would like to have them again.

Today 90mins to receive our breakfast . The new owner should have helped in the kitchen instead of just watching the dining room from the door . In addition to having to swallow our plates in 5 minutes there were several errors .. really very disappointing . Paying $40 for two lunch plates, well consider going elsewhere :(

Wow, this restaurant has changed a lot.......in the days of Gina 5 Etoile......, but now.... Im sad because I love waitresses.....but, Mr. New Owner, your customer service is not great! When a customer says shes not satisfied and returns the food to the kitchen, even if you dont think shes right, come and chat! I had stopped coming but I missed the waitresses and their smiles....but this time, finished.

At first, after looking at the menu, I taught that it was a bit pricey but when I took a look around me and saw everyone s huge plate I had second taught . After me and my girlfriend ordered ours. We weren t disappointed at all. Still huge-rounded plates. We got what we ve paid for. Staff was super friendly as well. Are we going to go again? Definitely!!! Can t wait .

Asked your kind waitress who was distraught about my situation, table for 4 today around 1 p.m. and your cook who makes the hamburgers. Im never going back anyway because of this. Not cooked and redone with a hair.

Its really not good. The food is cold. The waitresses dont understand anything when you talk to them. The cooks do not have good hygiene. Hair not tied up or nets. In addition, they made a mistake in our order and the cook threw the plate in the kitchen. I have food poisoning.

I asked for a benedict without mushrooms (Im allergic) and I had plenty of mushrooms. Then I asked for a boiled egg. I got them a runny egg (not a boiled egg) and my chicken was cold! . I have a stomach ache, these are great
