Antonio Pizzeria Restaurant in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield

I had been told about the pizza at Antonios, so I was looking forward to trying it.... but so disappointed. Little tomato sauce, untasty, bland pepperoni, too much poor quality cheese and very hard crust... no wow... no taste... In short, I would have liked to eat a frozen pizza from the supermarket for less money and I would have had a lot less wait...... but good atmosphere and nice waitress.

Submarine still good but the poutine is very disappointing with grated cheese and $13 for a small poutine is a steal.

The place is friendly, pleasant, and clean. Gentle and fast service. It eats well.

I had a ghetti pizza and it was very good. Large portions just like the chicken skewer and the bambino pizza for our little girl. The service was quick despite it being a Thursday lunchtime.

I reiterate my 5 stars, Truly, Truly the best pizza in Valleyfield! Probably the best restaurant in all and has been for at least 40 years...just so good!! Submarines, souvlakis, hot burgers, etc. Everything is really good. A little secret, taste their chicken fillet on charcoal with butterfly shrimp, my favorite dish. Its just too good.. The portions are generous, the food is fresh and its delicious as can be. Courteous, friendly and fast service. Enjoy your food !

Fast delivery! On the other hand, 2 10 steak pépé subs with a small poutine for $54 is too expensive. Plus the sub sauce needs to be changed, which changes EVERYTHING! Its mayonnaise.. why change the orange sauce that was served before? It was this sauce that made their submarine a GOOD submarine... We are disappointed!

We arrived rather late and yet the staff welcomed us with great courtesy. We were pampered by the team and the dishes were absolutely fantastic. The seasonings are very well chosen and the quantity is very well proportioned, even a little too much, but its just an added pleasure. I highly recommend and will definitely return! The pizza is good and what can we say about the excellent sugar tart.

Not bad, not great. The atmosphere was ok. It was clean. The waitress was talking with another customer while she greeted us and prepared our table in front of us. The burgers were good value. On the other hand, the poutine has a special taste that some wont like, and whats more, horror: GRATED CHEESE instead of cheese... The poutine is too expensive for what it is ($12 a small one) . Elsewhere in Canada I can understand, but in Quebec, its really bad... Overall, the price of the menu in general is high for what we get, but well chalk that up to inflation for the moment. (2x hamburgers and 2x small poutines cost me $50 with taxes...)

Horrible service from this place, would never order again and I suggest nobody else does too.

The prices on the site and over the phone are completely different . It s not advertised or told to you when ordering over the phone . We ended up paying about 15 $ more then we should have and when I called to ask about this the costumer service was horrible I was told to just order online next time that it wasn t the guys issue. I will not be ordering there every again and won t be recommending to anyone either . Horrible costumer service.

Good family restaurant. The service is perfect. They serve the best subs in town, and their Greek salad is delicious.

Specifically asked what dressing came on the sub. Was told vinegrette...got a goopy pink mayonnaise type of sauce. Not helpful when I called back. Price was reasonable however and the sub looks good if you enjoy a 1000 islands type of dressing. Just not what was ordered. Wish the response was handled more professionally.

I ordered. The food is good as usual but it took 1 hour or more to get my meal. What is the state of the roads? The speed of the delivery person? Or the speed of cooking? I dont know the reason. Usually Im not disappointed but with a 1 hour wait for my meal, it was very cold. Usually I recommend but today I am disappointed....

Very disappointed with my last 2 orders, I was used to more from this regional institution, the first time I gave the runner a chance because it was a delivery order and I told myself that maybe the weather, the temperature etc... but the last one I was looking for to be sure and no better its as if the food had been spoiled, a lot of love was missing. The 3 star rating is only for the multiple times before that I have ordered because if the rating had been on the last 2 it would have been lower. I really hope for an improvement because when the pizzas and submarines are done well they are really the best in the region!

Why charge $1.25 for mayonnaise when you buy a fries for $4.95? We also had a sub and spaghetti. When you buy a club sandwich do you charge extra for mayonnaise? This is ridiculous!!! It was our first time and our last! Its not the $1.25, its the principle! Me, ketchup with fries is no!! In addition, the service leaves something to be desired, no smile, no refilling of water glasses. In addition, I heard an employee criticize a customer calling for a delivery at 8:30 a.m. No matter what this restaurant is!!

Ive been buying my pizza there for 30 years! I moved to St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, but I make the trip there when I want to eat a good one! The souvlakis, Greek potatoes, Caesar salad are also very good!

I had heard so much about this place as an institution, a local cult restaurant. Im in the area now so I ordered a pizza to try. Very disappointed, its dry, theres so much no sauce in it that I went to the convenience store to buy a can of pizza sauce. I ordered with olives and they put the olives under the cheese instead of on top. Phew, really not extraordinary. 1st and last time for me.

I highly recommend the special Antonio pizza if you want to sit on the toilet for an hour. Also, I recommend taking your order to go, because when I went there, the waitresses seemed to want me to leave as quickly as possible. I hadnt even finished my entry when people looked at me and asked if I was finished. Then when I received my main course, I was asked about four times if I had finished my pizza within fifteen minutes. I understand that its fast food but there are still limits. I cant even tell you about the cold sweats on the way home... direction: the bathroom!! If you have a strong digestive system I recommend their pizza!

Sunday November 12 we ordered a pizza after waiting for an hour the cold pizza and the fries too and the vegetarian pizza all soaked it looks like they dropped the pot of olives inside very disappointed!!!

I ordered escargot aux gratain as entry and boneless chicken with shrimps.that came with Greek salad.esgargot was good salad was blaw meel was good.the only thing they dont give you time to enjoy your meal had one bite of escargot and salad came to table still wasnt done escargot and meal was at table.wife found bone in hot chicken sandwich but she said it was good even if it was a little spicy for her . service was good on waitress side.
