Le service était tout à fait excellent et rapide. Les serveuses étaient dégourdies, à leur affaire et savaient bien nous rendre à laise . Jai mangé un sandwich panini aux Stoke Meat et cétait très très bon. La salade comme accompagnement était belle et fraîche. Tout était propre. Je recommande McBroue cet été contrairement aux années passées.

We had our wedding dinner here and it was absolutely perfect! We reserved the second floor, which was the perfect amount of space for 20 people. We had our own dedicated server who tirelessly walked up and down the stairs all night, and even took a group photo at the end! The food was amazing (I had the beef tartar and my husband had the steak). We even had a private bathroom, so we didnt have to run downstairs, as well as a coat rack! 100% recommended We had our wedding dinner here and it was absolutely perfect! The food was good , but it took a bit more than an hour before we got the food and after that over 45 minutes to get the bill. The restaurant was not even that full. Also, the washroom were kinda dirty. Wont be back.

Took 1 hour to get food after ordering. 1 meal was cold upon arrival. Meal was eh. Had to ask another server to get receipts ready and he still did not. Waited 25 to 30 min to get the girl that was serving us to come over so we could pay and get out.

The place to have a drink with friends, family and work colleagues Very good meals too. In summer its really entertaining with the terrace which overlooks the old canal.

Fairly long service. The waitresses were chatting at a table while we waited for our bill. The waitress then made a rather inappropriate comment on the tip left. The tip was 15% before tax which is the recommended minimum.

I ate the fajitas, it was good. At first I had tartare in mind but after going to the bathroom upon arrival I immediately changed my mind. The cleanest bathroom I have ever seen in a restaurant . Havent washed for a long time! At least two weeks if not more! If the kitchen is also clean I prefer to stick to cooked food.

Enchanting site on the waters edge, the welcome was good, the service was good too, but the food was more average. The burger that I took at 23 dollars is not worth the price, the fries were barely warm, the taste of the burger did not live up to the description, simply not a competitive burger, period. The tartare was just okay. June 8, back in Valleyfield with my daughters we were looking for a restaurant on the waters edge and it was the only one open so I paid a second visit and see if it was just bad luck the first time. Well no, average merguez burger, she liked the first bite, but its becoming bland. The fish & chips tasted good but the fish were very hard, the breading was overcooked, .... unacceptable. My other daughter chose the beef tartare, like my girlfriend had on our first visit, and she was satisfied. Its unfortunate because its such a beautiful site, a beautiful restaurant, good service, we just need to make an adjustment in the kitchen so that its up to the price, because when its not good its always too much Dear.

Simple location. Terrible service, we pissed off the waitress who could have thrown the plates from the kitchen like a Frisbee, it wouldnt have been worse. Its clear I wont come back there again

Good restaurant and good food

I think a lot of people go there since there are no other places to go in the area. Everything is ordinary, especially the choice and taste of the food. The location is good thanks to its proximity near the Soulanges canal. Sometimes on Thursdays the atmosphere is festive, there is a Dj and it seems like a mini supper club. On the other hand, the bar is very small and the bartenders or barmaids cannot supply the demand since there are too many people and there are only 2 at the bar. We are very crowded against people, it can be difficult to command and find a place.

I go online for a few minutes. Nobody comes to see me. I received a call because a friend had just given birth. I make several eye contacts with the waitress because Im waiting for a place for 2. Its 7:45 p.m. the restaurant closes at 9 p.m. Seeing that no one is coming to me, I enter the restaurant. I approach a waitress who tells me she has to do something, but that she comes back to me. Shes not coming back. Another waitress finally came by and asked me if I had received an answer. She tells me at 8 p.m. that they are no longer taking anyone. Very frustrating. You see that I am waiting for a place and that I am receptive to talking to you. The least you can do is tell me that the kitchen is closing shortly. By my waiting at this place, the other terrace restaurants were also closing. Poached!!

Great location, but only OK food. Nice patio with a view of the Vieux Canal. The onion soup was served hot, there were plenty of onions, but the broth was bland. Again, the salmon tartar was fresh with good tasting salmon, but there wasnt much seasoning... like chopped up salmon that would be on bagels and lox (although, the salmon wasnt smoked). The escargot with cheese was too cheesy and the escargots were small. Very good rose, but lacks a good beer selection, especially for local beers. Overall a very good but not great experience.

My late uncles favourite burger spot in Valleyfield. The burger and server is amazing!

The food was good. The service was very basic, with no smiles or good humor.

For the kitchen, I would have put zero. We had two hairs on two different plates and even though we were re-served quickly, we did not have a commercial gesture. We then got a bill for 170 dollars. Otherwise, the service is impeccable.

Fish&Chips: dry and outdated fish, hard and not crispy breading.

Long wait to be served. Poutine requested without meat and received with it being able to replace it. People left because they waited too long to be served. Pleasant terrace and view of the water, which change gives a clear advantage to the place.

Our waitress was overwhelmed but so friendly and helpful! My Pina Colada was on point!!! Our meal was worthy of a pub!!! Too good! The only downside was that air conditioning was not provided!! Very nice experience!

Everything was perfect, lovely welcome, everything was delicious, varied choice, near the canal because we were on a personal watercraft.

Table of 4. Beers were cold and good. The meal however. 2/4 took the mcbroue sandwich and didnt sleep all night. Massive diarrhea. Yeah 100% something was off about that meal. Other 2 guys with us had smoke meat sandwich and club sandwich both were fine. September 14th reservation at 18h15. Also one bathroom on ground level with 1 toilet only men/woman.

Ocher-colored mole fries for my daughter and shrimp linguine bathed in a cream soup with a rancid cheese taste. Bad choice or bad luck my digestive tract could not support this failed culinary experience. However, the service is fast and friendly.

We enjoyed an excellent meal on the terrace! The service was good, however, we were annoyed by several wasps! It tarnishes the experience a little...

Fondue dinners on Wednesdays are a very good idea! For around $100 you will have a complete meal with wine. The fast and efficient service helps make for a great evening! Very good food, worth trying!

We ordered a McBrue burger with fries. The fries were burnt but bathed in oil, they must have been fried more than once. The place only had two tables occupied, but our meal took about 30 minutes to be served. After discussing this situation with manager Jessica we realize that her customer service skills are of the same quality as the fries served.

I really like the place. The food is really good. The meat is well seasoned; It doesnt taste like dry meat. The decor and atmosphere is relaxing in the evening. Afterwards, the party comes to life quite quickly. It s a best of both worlds for the restaurant and bar side.

An excellent meal in good company! The McBroue pizza and the maple crème brûlée made me happy!!

Love the terrace, the view, good food and drinks. Bathrooms are kinda odd and one of them doesnt have curtains... That is my only issue - love everything else.

Its an excellent place, the best in my opinion in Valleyfield, but dont arrive 1:30 a.m. before closing even if youre alone, especially at the start of the week because its not certain that youll return even if there are the place is a shame. We go to bed happily in Valleyfield

I had the goat cheese pecan salad at this pub and it was delicious. Francis was our server and was exceptional! Generally, when you go out for a meal, you go out for the food as much as the service, the interaction, the atmosphere...the food was good, the service was better!

Fairly ordinary fish and chips, I returned them for $25. The waitress, not too happy, looked at me with a funny look. My friends ate them and it was definitely red like a bar and we should tell them the trick of putting coffee in it. a small pot on the table to keep the bugs away or a bowl with sugar and water was not very pleasant especially since we dont have more than 100k to go there

The guy was not polite, he didn t give any reason!!

Le restaurant est très beau de lextérieur et de lintérieur, mais malheureusement, les repas ne valent pas le déplacement. Nous avons même des patates frites pas assez cuite dans nos assiettes :( De plus, javais appelé dans la semaine pour réserver notre table et quand nous sommes arrivés, nous nétions pas dans la liste. Au moins, nous avons quand même eu une table.
