I went there this afternoon and received impeccable service, even though I had not pre-ordered over the phone. I received my order (perfect) and with a smile from the staff there. Nothing to complain about!

For 3 months I have never been so disappointed with the sushi shop that I loved to go to often with my family, I specify allergies to peppers, no attention, looks at me rice and do not want to make another bowl, despite their mistake, no greetings when returning, laugh in my face, I have never seen such a lack of respect, they are the kings not the customer! Let me describe my experience at Sushi Shop in Valleyfield. First of all, the family and I sit down to eat our favorite sushi. Last night, the room manager was not the same. I had to order on the plastic menu with a marker as usual but the new menu being black the waiter must not have realized that he had forgotten to order three rolls. Once seated, we start to eat and immediately stop, there seems to be a shortage of sushi... so I return to the counter where I previously paid my bill and gave a tip of 15%. The waiter explains to me that the chef gave away the sushi but still comes to the table and ends up telling us that they are going to make another one (but I never received it). We calmly finish dinner and several minutes later, I decide to go to the counter to see where our missing sushi is. To my great surprise, the room manager explains to me that he has changed his mind and that he will not finish preparing our suicide bomber. So Ill do a little summary for everyone. We charge in advance We recommend a tip of 15, 18, 20% but no table service is offered We only serve part of your order and we dont worry about your customers. I am a regular customer but I dont know why. There is a woman who works there who treats delivery people this way. I witnessed two cases. The first is when she yells at a group of delivery people telling them to wait for orders in a provocative manner. The second case is in front of me, a delivery woman entered first with a food storage bag, she looked at him but did not pay attention to him because she knew that he worked in delivering orders and did not pay him any attention. didnt even say hello. Funny enough, after taking out my card to request a refund, I was informed that my order was on its way and that it would be ready soon! Ive been ordering from here for the past few years and the quality has gone down so drastically is truly sad. The sushis are really badly made, the wasabi looks like its expired.. I would not recommend ordering from here anymore. Youll have better quality sushis at the IGA at this point.

Tell me something wrong! We haven t received your order, what do you want, I tell you!!! (customer service also includes handling problems my little guy!!) Im still waiting for my refund after 4 hours! Zero !!!!!!! Support! Zero we are sorry, or even provide a solution! ! Customer Service - Zero! Neither the employee nor the manager! Not even a sorry!!! If I could give zero stars, I would. Very poor customer service!!! I tried different ways to order; online, in person and over the phone. EACH TIME, I waited 1 hour or more to pick up my order, in addition to errors in my order for sure! It s a shame because I love sushi shop. But the location in valleyfield has got to be the worst one. Extremely unorganized. I always place my order well in advance, 5-6 hours in advance. Yet every time we go to pick it up, they haven t even begun making it. I order around 1 pm for a 6:30 pm pickup. We go to pickup at 6:30, we only get ahold of someone at 6:48, and only then do they start making the order. That doesn t make sense! The place is filled with people waiting over an hour. Why continue to accept orders if they don t have the capacity to fulfil them? Extremely disappointed that I allowed myself to give them yet another chance.

Very disappointed! I ordered more than two hours in advance to make sure I didnt overload the restaurants orders. I finally received my order an hour later than expected... so check your order carefully as there were some errors!

Same experience as a lot of other people, we made an online order, took a very long time, with no confirmation just for us to guess when it would be ready. We arrived there and they lost or order. They passed several people in line ignoring us, to finally tell us it was ready. Very disorganized

Atrocious service!! They got THREE rolls wrong. We found it at home so we went back to pick up the correct order (extra 30 minutes of driving total) and they didnt offer anything for the inconvenience. In addition, one of the employees was very talkative when we asked to leave us the wrong rolls if they were going to throw them away. They said no and wanted to offer nothing for their mistake. They even told us that they werent going to throw away the wrong rolls (they were going to serve it to someone else when we had already opened the tray!? Ugh! Are my sushi recycled from someones order? another one!?) We order regularly every week and this is the service we receive when THEY make a mistake!? Wow! Not anymore. Go somewhere else!!

Worst Sushi shop I ever went to. I took a raw salmon poke bowl and my boyfriend had a chicken bowl. WE BOTH HAD FOOD POISONING. I dont know who neglected to take the safety measures but it was obviously ignored. Do not eat here unless you want to get sick.

The welcome leaves something to be desired, no smiles. Even looks stupid. The place. Was not well maintained table dirty floor littered with food and under the coffee table where you are asked to take off your shoes there was so much leftover food that even with your shoes it would not have tempted you. When I tried to call the line was closed so there was no way to reach them (it was 5 p.m. when I ordered)! Definitely a management problem! I was a regular customer and they offer very good sushi but lately its impossible to get your order on time. Even if you order 3 hours in advance, you will have at least 30 minutes waiting outside without even being able to call them because the line is always busy. Paying $60 to wait outside for 1 hour with no answer on the phone leaves a bitter taste in your mouth even if the product is good.

We ordered the sushi several hours in advance and still had to wait more than 30 minutes for the sushi. The sushi seems to be prepared in advance since several boxes are on the tables and counter. Our sushi was hot...we didnt eat it so as not to get food poisoning. I called the restaurant and was told they didnt have time to resolve the situation...Apparently the sushi is made with very hot rice. From experience, raw fish cannot be eaten hot without the possibility of bacteria developing...This is the 2nd time that we have had problems with order times and now with the quality of the food. We are not going to go back and wait for Yuzu to open soon or just go somewhere else. At your own risk for those who try the experience.

Organization is bad. Ordered online at 2pm, asked us to pick it up at 5:30pm. Its now 6:30 pm and the order is still not ready (they did not even know about the order). On average, we waste 30 mins every time we come here.. Will not be back.

When I asked if there had been a problem with my order, I was told that internet orders come first. Ordered a sunrise pokebol now i typically order this from the one on bank st in ottawa this time it wasnt there. The difference is this tim they used garden salad for the salad in the sunrise where the other location uses romain lettuce. (The romaine is much better) also i was in the location waiting for my order 22 minutes to find out they had completed it 10 minutes ago and just hadnt handed it to me. A bit dissapointed but hey pokebols awe amazing.

I was missing parts of my order and the sushi I did receive was falling apart. When I called to explain the situation, they were beyond rude and condescending. I spent almost 100$ on sushis, the least they could do is speak to the customer with a little bit of respect. I will not be going back. 2nd time in 1 month that the service is ordinary. Particularly on June 20, when we ordered around 40 pieces at 2:30 p.m. for pickup at 5 p.m. When we arrived at 5:00 p.m., the order was not even prepared. We were told: you can cancel if you want, otherwise it will be ready in 30 minutes. Quite an ordinary answer... Finally our order was ready at 5:50 p.m. Its almost an hour later than the time for which we had ordered (2h30 early!!!) and there were things missing, which the preparers had to do on the spot so that we could leave with a complete order. No excuses, no empathy, just employees with rolling eyes when asked when our order will be ready. Finally arriving home, we realize that our order has been put through the press; the sushi does not hold together, and is not even pleasing to the eye to look at. Really very disappointed

Bad experiences, not recommended at all. Went Saturday noon to have my favorite plate ( poke tuna), bad service ( the cashier even dont want to serve or do anything). Wasnt busy as well, moreover, was really bad food quality. I always buy poke tuna from sushi shop, but did not recommend this place.

I would like to understand your ordering system. I have ordered online several times to avoid the line. I plan 3 hours in advance to make sure I dont overload you. The food is good but nothing beyond extraordinary, the dessert made of banana is delicious, the bubble teas are meh, the bowls and spring rolls are good as well, the staff is very friendly.

Too bad we cant leave any stars. One hour late than the scheduled time when ordering over the phone. He gave our order to another customer. When this customer returned with the order, they tried to pass the order on to us. This is totally unacceptable.

We ordered around 6:30 p.m., we were the only customers in the restaurant, we were told that it would take 15-20 minutes. After 20 minutes, we notice that the employees all seem to have nothing to do. When we went to ask what was going on, we noticed that our order had been lying on the counter for I dont know how long, no one waved at us... Very long to prepare and the last time in an already prepared dish I threw the salmon nigiri because it tasted like Asterix.

Wanna have sushi delivery (DoorDash) for lunch from here? Prepare yourself to spend like for 3 normal lunches and remain hungry after consuming it. Conclusion: tiny and expensive. Never again.

The rolls kept undoing themselves but other than that it was good.
