Best Vietnamese I've ever had. Price and service are amazing.
I was recently in town for a few days with a friend and her daughter, who has celiac disease. Unfortunately none of us speak French, and staff in many restaurants we tried to visit spoke limited English, which made finding gluten-free options very challenging. Until we arrived at Lotus. The staff were amazing and were able to provide knowledge & assurance of what dishes were gluten-free (most on the menu, actually). We each thoroughly enjoyed our meals, that were full of a great selection of fresh veggies, tender meat and either rice or noodles, all cooked to perfection. It was so good we returned for dinner the next night too. Prices were quite reasonable as well. It's obviously very popular with locals too and was very busy at dinner time, but their efficient service ensures you don't have long to wait - and the wait is worth it. I highly recommend, especially for those needing gluten-free options.

Super tasty! Beware though if you only take Entrées no matter if you even buy for 50$ of then you still get charged an extra for not ordering a full meal ... At the moment you gotta pay, without being told about any extra before.
Food was ok. Good portions. The staff was friendly. The combos are a bit pricy. The general tao was good. The egg rolls are good. However, the peanut butter chicken was not edible. Tasteless. Overall an ok experience.
I was very dissapointed. The place is always packed so I thought it would be amazing! Anyways, I went in to order take out. The guy was very rude and the bathroom was unsanitary, no soap. I shudder to think of the employees using it and not washing their hands properly. My food was very bad. I ordered the peanut sauce chicken with mushrooms and crispy spinach. The spinach was soggy, sauce barely had taste, mushrooms were tough and I found a curly black hair in my food. Disgusting! I will NEVER go back there. I hope the health bureau comes by to inspect it.
Incredible food without a doubt. I'm never disappointed. However I usually go elsewhere for the following reasons. It is ridiculously expensive for what it is. There are cheaper alternatives that are as good all over the city. The shop close several month during the winter, and is jammed packed during the summer and I really mean packed. They really should remove a few tables. If you want to appreciate their amazing food, I would suggest do so with take out or during a sunny day where you can sit outside where it's not as cramped.
Great Vietnamese culinary experience with friends, relaxed atmosphere, impeccable service. Great choice of menus. Specialty of the house: the love nest, beautiful place to discover at a fair price to return upon reservation.

Thai soup was terrible, it only tasted like pepper, I even thought the pepper shaker had slipped inside Very ordinary plate of grilled meats and tasteless. Phew service, what can I say, the gentleman at reception has an air of more income he seems sick of his work, dry and cold.

The love nest was made with pieces of chicken from a boneless chicken, frankly I wont go there anymore and the noodles were too soft when the dish arrived

For my first time, I tried a general tao combo and the taste of the sauce was not good but the yum tum soup was excellent. My partners plate #4 was succulent, I loved the taste of the meat. I will definitely go back to try another dish.

Small Asian restaurant in a relatively nice setting. Quite popular with lunchtime customers. However, the quality of the menu offered is far below what one might expect from an establishment like this, even if it seems to be popular locally (this probably explains it). As for soups, they should be absolutely avoided because they are so poor. Those who have traveled a little will understand.

Look at the photo and judge for yourself...$23 for a dish with 3 shrimps, 3 small pieces of chicken and half the dish filled with broth... UPDATE: we called and he made another dish for us. But....so much broth.
