El Mil Amores Restaurant is a Mexican-American style restaurant. Family owned restaurant with authentic Mexican flavors. We’re located in the Mission District of San Francisco, California.
This breakfast made me feel like I was in Mexico. The most delicious food!! I had the enchiladas rojas and they did not disappoint! My friends got the mole and absolutely loved it.
Wow, absolutely recommend. Came here around 9 on Saturday morning and got the last open table (so be aware of waiting). The service was pleasant and attentive, even as they got busier. The cafe de olla was great - sweet, but good flavor. Plus you can get refills, or get regular coffee. The CDMX Plate has a little bit of everything. I got the chilaquiles verdes with chorizo. The sauce had good acidity from the tomatillos and great flavor. The potatoes were crispy and went well with the fluffy scrambled eggs. The concha French toast was also yummy. Glad I didn't order it as my main dish, as it's quite sweet (but that's what you should expect) and buttery (no complaints). It feels like you're in a family's kitchen and each dish taste like it's made with love & care. An absolute must-try!
One of my fav breakfast spots in the Mission! El Mil Amores is a small, cute, and homey restaurant in south Mission near Potrero Hill. The chilaquiles were incredible. I chose verde for the salsa between verde and rojo. My friend got the CDMX plate and he loved it as well! The concha French toast it came with was fireeee. Our server was very sweet and was able to answer questions about food allergies. I would definitely go again!
i’ve lived in the mission for a little over a year, and i’m sad that it took me this long to visit this GEM. my sister and I came for brunch, and we got the enfrijoladas and chilaquiles. both were absolutely incredible. the food was so fresh and so flavorful. the chilaquiles were crispy with soft scrambled eggs, and were not soggy at all. the enfrijoladas were stuffed with soft scrambled eggs and veggies. the portions were generous as well. service was prompt and the employees were friendly. my sister got an agua fresca and said that the soursop flavor was delicious. would highly recommend this spot. will def come here many more times before I head back to the east coast.
The food is outstanding. I had the chilaquiles and French toast, it came with eggs and potatoes. The eggs were fluffy, the potatoes were perfectly seasoned, the coffee was very fresh as they grind their own beans in house. The chilaquiles were verde with pork in them and they were fabulous, just like my abuela used to make. The French toast is a concha (like a breakfast bread that is is baked) then it was fried with cinnamon and topped with a creamy icing and strawberries. It was to die for! Staff is wonderful!
This place was incredible! I had the enfrijoladas. It was so delicious. The people working here were incredibly polite and welcoming. I’m definitely coming back.
This place is a treasure. Their food is so complex and sophisticated and delicious, of course. On the weekends, they can get packed for brunch, so come during the week if you have time off. The enchiladas are not to be missed!!!!!
8 or maybe 8.5. Breakfast sandwich is fantastic. Mole chilaquiles also amazing. Next time try red chilaquiles. Pineapple agua fresca was too juicy and sweet. New favorite brunch in SF, and no line when I went. Cdmx plate is less worth IMO than chilaquiles because French toast is too sweet for me.
Yummy!!!
So good!
Get the chilaquiles!
Food was delicious, service was spectacular and the vibes were perfect. Would recommend the costillas. They are messy but so worth it.
I ve only gotten take out but the regular coffee and the Mexican coffee USS the best I ve ever had in my life! The food is mouthwatering DELICIOUS!! I love their breakfast sandwich!
After waiting to be seated and going to the bar, it took at least 30 to 40 minutes for my friend and I to be served for food. This is unacceptable. And the food was not that great. Also, I think the images that are shown on Instagram or nothing representative of the place
Phenomenal breakfast and really nice staff. Cant wait to return!
The place is small, but with nice details and a calm atmosphere. The food is delicious, variety of chilaquiles. We didnt like the pancakes, because although they are served dipped in tres leches, the instantaneous flour flavor still comes out and I dont like food that is not prepared from scratch. The service is very friendly, which we appreciate, but they make too many mistakes when taking the order. Parking: It is somewhat difficult to find parking, it is on the street and it is free.
The best brunch Ive ever had! Lovely atmosphere and great service. Everything was very reasonable. We are from Canada but we would love to have such a place at home. Well have to come back!
Very hospitable. Flavorful and authentic food and drinks! Totally worth the wait maybe plan to get there a little earlier since there is a bit of a wait for tables.
Its a small cute restaurant run by a lovely Mexican family. The staff is attentive and kind. The food is reasonably priced (broadly 15-25$ range) with huge portions, and its authentic Mexican (ask the staff to explain the dishes to you!) I ordered a salsa verde dish which was great, but it was kinda sour for me (which I understand is how salsa verde tastes typically). A friend ordered a mole sauce dish that was delicious! So was the spiced coffee. I went on a Sunday morning and had to wait for 30 minutes to get a table as the place is small (though we were also a large group). Its kid friendly and a popular spot for families.
Outstanding chilaquiles!
Really really good mole with roast chicken in a charming local spot. Great for lunch, I ll be back!
I was looking forward to trying this place but it did not live up to expectations. I had the cdmx plate and the food was only average. I found it neither unique nor particularly good. For the wait, totally not worth it. Service was super slow and staff are unorganized and rude. I do not recommend. There are so many better options.
Such a gem! I LOVE the pork ribs in adobado. They also have delicious and unique agua frescas like guanabana (soursop).
One of my favorite brunch spots in the city. This place is an absolute delight!!!! Their tres leches pancakes are divine. And then I get the breakfast burrito too with their house coffee. I ll be back with photos!
Service was bad helping other tables first even though we had been ther first food was bland nothin special maybe more for the pictures location is good
Best brunch in the City. Feels like youre in La Roma when youre sitting inside. Unfortunately it has now been discovered and is impossibly crowded on weekends now. Pour out a mimosa for all the amazing places ruined by Internet lists
Sooo good, I got the enchiladas suizas with arrachera and they were amazing. The green salsa is out of this world.
Great option for Mexican style breakfast, brunch & lunch
We are visiting from TX and found this place online. We ordered fresh orange juice and an enfrijoladas everything was delicious and the service was great.
I just had such a wonderful breakfast at El Mil Amores. The Cafe de Olla had the perfect amount of sweetness. The CDMX plate is everything I want in a breakfast. I usually struggle to choose between a sweet and savory dish, but not here! The chilaquiles with chorizo were delicious (I got the house verde salsa) the french toast had a wonderful vanilla cream with fresh strawberries and the portion of scrambled eggs and potatoes was perfect. Their salsas are flavorful and their red salsa packs a punch if youre a little over zealous. I finished everything and didnt feel uncomfortably full at the end, they really nailed the portion size. All of the servers were friendly and attentive without hovering. My food came out quickly and my coffee cup was always at least half full. They play Spanish TV shows on the monitor behind the counter. It was a nice touch, especially as a solo diner. I felt like I was having breakfast in the large dining room of a friends relative. I will definitely be back!
A little bit of Mexico. In San Francisco
Best Mexican restaurant ever! Just like in Mexico, I loved it! And the people who serve are also friendly! (I recommend the macha sauce)
So good! Had the enfrijoladas, tres leches pancakes, and the chilaquiles rojos. Highly recommend.
unreal tres leches pancakes and chilequiles!! so good
Amazing food, fantastic place!
Excellent brunch spot. Best chilaquiles in the city and the concha french toast is great. Ive been here twice now and both times the service has been fantastic; everyone working here genuinely cares about the customers and has passion for what they do. The only thing I can criticize is it gets damn stuffy in the restaurant and theres zero ventilation, but its a small gripe overall.
Good Mexican food in a pleasant ambiance
Incredible breakfast. Generous servings and kind/attentive service. Go out of your way to come here! It s the real deal!
Very satisfied
Great food and great service.
Our favorite breakfast spot! Fantastic food and atmosphere. Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly! Food : 5/5 |
A remarkably delicious and authentic meal with friendly service
The best breakfast!
Delicious home cooking with a great atmosphere and vibe. Bring your cute little Abuelita for sure !
Everything we had here was EXCELLENT. Leaving the photo, we will be back!
Tried the CDMX plate and it was PERFECT as a first timer - I loved the balance of the acidic green salsa verde with some sprinkles of chorizo, the well-cooked potatoes and eggs for some variety on the side, and the sweet French toast with a delicious cream and some fresh strawberries for the final bite. Also highly recommend the special coffee that comes with cinnamon and sugar in it. A great brunch spot!!!
Great food, excellent service
The food is very good. Fresh ingredients. The service is not good. Parking is non-existent. Take an Uber
So friendly people, authentic Mexican flavors ,
Stopped in to pick up a breakfast burrito to-go after reading great reviews. Its the best breakfast burrito Ive ever had. Thats the review. Will be back!
Fabulous breakfast, lovely staff and immaculate interior. Lots of choice. Not to be missed if you are in this area.
If you havent tried the chilaquiles at this place, are you even living? This restaurant serves the best chilaquiles in the city, hands down. The authentic Mexican flavors will have you dancing salsa (the dance, not the dip) right out the door. Try the chilaquiles, but honestly, all the food is amazing (dont miss the fresh toast conchas with Cafe de Olla please! ) Vegetarian options: They can made Vegetarian chilaquiles, and also the frensh toast cochas are amazing!
Best breakfast spot in Mission! The breakfast CDMX platter was amazing, and the place feels like taken out of Ciudad de México. Ill come back every time Im in the city.
THIS IS A MEXICAN MUST !! Insanely good food, ten years at least that I ve had mexican food this good. We tried the huevos rancheros and they are by far the best ones Ive had. This is a GEM
Great food with a homely set up. A friend recommended this place and it was sooo good.
Great breakfasts! The wait was longer than I expected but it was Mothers Day and the restaurant is very small. Their sauces are some of the best I have had in a long time. I cant wait to eat my way through the menu.
Amazing food!! Best Mexican homemade style!
Overall, it was a fine experience and Id absolutely recommend visiting to those who havent. The chilaquiles that my husband ordered was phenomenal. Because of this, I would go back. But Im taking out one star in the hopes that theyll make improvements on their eggs benedict. 1. The poached eggs were hard boiled, which was a huge disappointment. The name of the dish Eggs benedict has the word eggs in it because the eggs are supposed to be the main star of the dish. The spotlight is on the eggs, and runny yolk should work with the hollandaise to glue the other protein and the bread together into a perfectly soft, creamy and savory bite, and you should still be able to taste the eggs. But there was only hard yolk on my eggs benedict. 2. The chipotle hollandaise tasted good, but there was just too much on the plate and it stole the thunder from the eggs. The balance was lacking and it ended up making the whole dish too creamy. I suggest adding more kick to the sauce and reducing the amount plated. 3. There was nothing special about the bread and personally, the regular bread seemed to downgrade the class of the dish. Because of no runny yolk and only a flood of the sauce, it tasted like eating white bread soaked in chipotle mayo. 4. The ham was too thin. It could have been that it just felt like so due to the overloaded sauce. Again, the balance was off. Also, I think using a different type of protein here would make this dish so much more deserving of a spot on their innovative and thoughtfully constructed menu. Im curious what the dish would be like with chorizo or pulled pork (and perhaps with their exceptional mole)?
The CDMX plate has the perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors. A hearty meal that will leave your taste buds tingling with joy. The side of chilaquiles is perhaps the best place to start. Left-over sauce will come in handy to paint the eggs and potatoes. Their concha is truly a delightful treat. Staff is friendly, and make you feel right at home. A pleasant dine-in experience.
Five stars, just go try the food and have an open mind. Youre going to love it if you are looking for authentic Mexican food. Like authentic Mexico City food. Uhhhhhhh yeah I love seasoning
Homemade and super Mexican cuisine. We eat really well. Highly recommended
Excellent and delicious food , cozy place and very friendly staff
I love coffee
Great breakfast burrito! Great Mexican coffee.
Such a fantastic breakfast place
The quality of the food is excellent. However, the pricing structure appears disproportionate to the diminutive serving sizes, which raises concerns about value for money.
The cochinita pibil special was delicious!
The food and service is amazing!
Small pretty brunch place with Mexican touch. Please be patient if you want to eat here since the service can be slow. Still the staffs are nice and the food are great. I got the combo plate with various items: chips topped with steak, salsa and sauce, scramble eggs on fried potatoes. Then there is a french toast Mexican bun. The first item is executed with the right amount of flavor matching the other two components. I wish the french toast to be more moist or soaked like traditional toast. Still the combo is decent. My friend ordered the avocado toast and it comes with beautiful strawberry salad. You can tell that the chef pays attention to food and it delivers. I would like to try more things next time!
Here its like going to your dear aunt, the people are so warm and kind to you. Our breakfast was delicious and the portions were really good. We were also lucky enough to be there for the one-year anniversary; there was even a great little bag!
We started our time at el Mil Amores with 3 agua frescas - guava, pineapple, and strawberry - and they were the perfect refreshing treat on a warm Friday afternoon! Highly flavorful, not diluted by ice, and a massive quantity! Of our two savory items, the chilaquiles were absolutely the one to write home about. Great flavor profile, texture that wasn t too soggy, and a solid quantity. The breakfast burrito felt like it was slightly lacking m on flavor, but adding hot sauce took care of that. The tres leches pancake was a great sweet touch. I can t believe I d never thought of this combination, and I d highly recommend to anyone who s a big fan of tres leches (like I am!) The staff was also very friendly and attentive to see how we were doing. Looking forward to come back!
It was worth the wait, first come first serve basis. Chilaquiles de mole reminds me of my Inlaws cooking. Portions are generous. Definitely we will frequent this join. Vegetarian options: All dishes could be ordered for vegetarian. Parking: You will find street parking around 1-2 blocks radious.
Outstanding. No other brunch spot in the city compares.
This was the best Mexican food I have had in San Francisco hands down maybe ever. Amazing service as well. Can t wait to come back!
the concha french toast was okay, not as good as i expected for a 5 star VERY HYPED UP tiktok restaurant. staff is friendly and accommodating. however the place is very tiny and cramped for our party of 8, had at least 25 people waiting outside to be seated while the rest of the place was full to the brim. service is nice but forgetful because they forgot my friends water and took the entirety of our meal to make my other friends buttermilk pancakes. it does not take 35 minutes to make 3 buttermilk pancakes, sorry. everyone else was getting their food before my friend, and by the time we finished eating and were preparing to leave, she got her pancakes in a to go box. i get it was very full but people coming in after us with more complicated and bigger meals were getting their food before my friend. overall the concha french toast did not look like the pictures we saw and it was okay to say the least. good, but not that good.
Best chilaquiles I ve had in SF (I m from CDMX)
Chipotle Eggs Benedict is BOMB.com- savory, tasteful, and well-portioned. Staff is friendly, although the wait is LONG (prepare to be twice as hungry by the time you sit). Pineapple juice is very good and sweet. Parking: Limited free street parking is available.
Its a small place but nicely done. I had the Chipolte Eggs Benedict with savory potatoes That breakfast was so delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the food presentation was beautiful. The Chipotle sauce was perfect and not too spicy. Even the black no sugar coffee was perfect. My friend had the breakfast sandwich. He was pleased and ate it all. Our server was nice and friendly and we didnt feel rushed. I will be going back to try some other dishes.
Amazing place. The people who work there are so nice! The waiting list is long but it s worth it. Food
They forgot our order. Then, they brought us the wrong order. I ordered the huevitos and it was good. Also ordered the naranja dulce french toast (described in the menu as a french toast with a sweet orange twist) which was actually a lemon cake like the one you get at the corner store that was a little toasted with butter. There was nothing orange about it except for a small orange slice. It was disappointing. Also, they got my partners order partially wrong.
We tried their chilaquiles and their tres leches pancakes, the chilaquiles were excellent, super duper flavorful! The tres leches pancakes were alright, its not that different from standard pancakes, but still good
This is the best Mexican restaurant I have been too! The dishes and flavors are so unique and unlike anything I ve tried before. The cafe de olla is to die for, the chilaquiles are incredible, and I loved the Mexican cups, bowls, and all of the festive details and decor. The staff is so friendly and has the feeling of a family owned restaurant. The service is top notch. I came in for lunch and am immunocompromised, so they grabbed a table from inside and brought it outside just for me to be able to sit outside. So thoughtful and above and beyond! Will keep coming back to try the rest of the menu. Thank you so much for accommodating me!
The cdmx dish is really good, but the Abu dish is even better, steak with beans, rice, tortillas and French toast, highly recommended if you want something very Mexican
goodness gracious is this a great spot. i got the benedict and some OJ. the OJ was VERY fresh squeezed, like it tasted ice cold and squeezed in the last few minutes. The benedict was unbelievably good and i am committed to trying to replicate a bit - though i will go back over and over again to try every other dish.
The food is kind flavorless the pancakes are dense and dry. But the service is horrible they don t have customer service at all they sit you and forget you, they need to hire people that have restaurant experience, not everyone s food in the same table comes out at the same time so you sit around watching the food in the table get cold, the wait is so long is not worth it
Extraordinary! Andrea is the owner and she uses her grandmother s recipes to create unforgettable flavors of the Mexican cuisine. Food
Every bite of food is craveable. Its so nice to see how much the staff cares. It really shows in the excellent home style Mexican cooking. I wish they served beer though.
soooo good we walked in a Sunday morning and ordered a burrito and a comb plate (number 1). So yummy. Beyond my expectations!!!! Best Mexican brunch place. 10/10
Went to this new place )recently and I must say lm so happy with everything. Great Food awesome costumer service, and Pedro infante playing on the radio just love it They serve delicious food. CDMX PLATE is mi favorito y mi cafecito de ollá
The best chilaquiles on this side of the border. And the best of the other too...
The best Mexican food love it.
Most underrated place ever. Best breakfast in SF
Friends invite me to this place for the first time and I was very pleasant with the atmosphere. The environment feels homey and is clean. The servers were kind and patient. The food was delicious and had the authentic feeling of traditional Mexican food. I highly recommend the traditional french toast. It comes with a filling and strawberries. I will definitely come back with some extra time to find a good parking spot.
Super fire brunch spot!
Fabulous lunch at el Mil Amores, Loved It, the Mole Chicken and Arugula Salad were delicious. Nice dining room with great music playing and the owner and servers are friendly and attentive. Food
I highly recommend this sweet and cozy spot. My coworkers and I love this restaurant. We try to go at least twice a week for the delicious food and the welcoming atmosphere. The owner always greets us with a big smile to ask how we are doing and to give the special. We have tried many different dishes but my favorite one has to be the Yuly s breakfast sandwich!! Delicious!!
Very cute brunch spot with tasty horchata, chipotle eggs Benedict and tres leches pancakes. The chipotle hollandaise was scrumptious. Servers were kind and attentive. Looking forward to coming back!
For being open just a few months in, this is a great, authentic and yummy tucked gem in the mission district. Family owned and ran which is exactly the vibe you feel as soon as you sit down. It gets quite busy here on the weekend mornings. Must try s: Cafe de Olla Pineapple Agua Fresca Chipotle Egg Benedict s Chilaquiles For dessert, Holly smokes the flan was sooooo delicious! 10/10
Great place to grab breakfast or lunch. I had the chilaquiles and they were great. They include beans, egg, choice of meat, avocado and the green salsa is AMAZING!
Maybe the best pancakes I ve ever had?
Great service, incredible food!
I liked the food, the only thing was a lot of chili, the presentation was all very good.
Excellent place, the service is incredible, the taste of the food is very, very good I highly recommend it
I do not leave reviews, but the food was too good not to. I had the criminal burger which was nice and juicy. The burger was piled high and I enjoyed every bit of it. I was slightly surprised that the sausage was a Vienna sausage, but I have no complaints. The concha French toast was absolutely life changing! It s the best French toast I ve ever had. It s not overly sweet, the strawberries were fresh, and it was somehow this perfect combination of light and dense. My partner had the pork dish with rice and beans (can t remember what it was called), but it was extremely flavorful. This place doesn t break the bank and we ate great, we will be back.
100% Mexican food. It is really good. 100% Approved by a chilango
Went there today with my wife and enjoyed the fish tacos and the pork dish. It was extremely delicious and unique. If you like good unique Mexican food, definitely try this place. You wont be disappointed. Plus, you get to support a good local new business.
Tres Leches Pancakes is so good. Service here is great. Will be back!
Everything was very delicious, very friendly, my daughter and I were delighted with the place. We plan to return again and the most important thing for me is that the place is super clean and comfortable, like being in your own home.
Another fantastic addition to the neighborhood. While no shortage of excellent Mexican restaurants, El Mil Amores has some unique regional dishes and an extensive breakfast/brunch menu. Great Mexico City vibes. My wife had the chilaquiles while I ordered the ribs with Chile quemado (burnt Chile sauce). Wonderful plating. All the flavors were on point. The chilaquiles has a bright flavorful tomatillo salsa with just the right amount of kick. Ribs were tender, well seasoned and complimented well with the smokiness of the burnt chiles. Ordered the tamarind agua Fresca which I usually find overly sweetened but theirs is just right. Staff are very welcoming and the space has a nice flow. Prices are reasonable for the high quality of the food and generous portions. Menu will be rotating and specials daily. Looking forward to heading back for the tortas which look really stand out. Overall Highly recommended.
Awesome and authentic food. Prepared fresh. Nice interior, great, chill atmosphere. Feels like home cooked. And the staff is super super friendly!
All day breakfast. CDMX plate was at the top of the menu, and it was unbelievably tasty! Chilaquiles with Concha French Toast for dessert. We will be back.
Super cute, small, intimate, hidden little gem. Owner was super sweet, she served us. Wheelchair accessibility: Street level, no stairs.
Very friendly staff and the best French toast I ve ever had! Great brunch
Very delicious food and very good service. Excited to return!
Real good food and service. Owners and servers are kind and attentive. Pedro Infante and other old time artists playing at all times. Music that my parents passed down that I could appreciate. Thanks Mil Amores. Food
Amazing food, reasonable priced, attentive and friendly staff. Had the chilaquiles with arrachera and they didn t skimp on the meat. My husband had the pasta poblano and was very good, a little spicy but not overwhelming the chicken on top was delicious and juicy.
The place its sooo cute the inside have a unique style love it
Best New Place in Town. This place is a Gem . Very clean, friendly staff, exceptional service. The chicken salad with (Mexican mole) was out of this world. It melts in your mouth in every bite. I can not wait to try all of their menu. Exceptional quality food with the highest and finest ingredients. Highly recommend
Our new favorite spot for breakfast and brunch!
Really authentic. Loved this place!
Everything delicious and great service, it transported me back to my hometown in México!
The chilaquiles, concha french toast, and cafe de olla are all amazing!
The chilaquiles are amazing, the portions are very generous, and the service is both exceptionally friendly and attentive. Best breakfast I ve had in the Mission!
The imagination and depth of the sauces will bring you back to try every dish they serve.
Best brunch place Ive been to in ages! My partner and I decided to go impulsively since it was a quick walk from our house. So good! We split the tres leches pancakes (amazing) and I had the huevos rancheros which had such good salsa! I didnt try it but my partner devoured the Benedict. They were also so nice - I ordered an Agua Fresca and our server brought out a sample of the other flavor so I could try it! The interior and exterior were very cute as well. Love the succulents on the restaurant sign. I feel like SF has a lot of tasty but forgettable brunch places, so this was such a nice change of pace. We definitely will come back to try the rest of the menu!
Went with my friend who encouraged me to order in Spanish. I was told my pronunciation was good (thankfully a Canadian who was taught French and learned that rolling R! Haha!) Food was incredible. Had the chilaquiles with arrechera (skirt steak) and Wow!!! A flavour journey from beginning to end! With delicious hot and sour green salsa, savory onions and arrechera, creamy avocado and comforting smooth sour cream plus those fantastic crunchy chips. AND THE HIDDEN REFRIED BEANS IN THE BOTTOM WERE A DELIGHT! Just incredible! I do not have enough good things to say!! EVERYONE EAT HERE NOW!!!!!!!
For the demands of a chilango palate, this restaurant is perfect.
Amazing. Get the brunch combo with chilaquilles, eggs AND French toast
Everything was delicious - we tried the CDMX and chicken mole and can t wait to go back to try more dishes. You can tell the chef constructed every one of these dishes with care. Plus they serve breakfast all day which makes it a wonderful addition to the neighborhood.
Andrea the chef! Everything is delicious! And completely homemade. Amazing service and food!
Inviting home vibes wimpressed with the flavors and kind service! See here Machaca Beef Rib chilaquiles with a green sauce and spicy red sauce. Drinks are strawberry agua fresca and fresh orange juice. Absolutely loved the strawberry agua fresca it had lots of real strawberries and refreshing!
Best breakfast/brunch in the city for me by far. All of the food absolutely smacks
Delicious and plentiful!
Friendly staff, great customer service and best of all, FOOD WAS AMAZING! I highly recommend it! I m obsessed with their gorditas.
Great brunch place! The food was amazing, definitely a new neighborhood favorite. Vegetarian options: They had a couple great looking vegetarian entrées, both breakfast and lunch
This meal took me right back to León, Mexico! Absolutely delicious Vegetarian options: They made sure girlfriend s meal was very vegetarian friendly, avocado and veggies instead of meat on some dishes Food : 5/5 |
Great service! Friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered 3 dishes. The avocado toast wasn t great. The poached eggs were hard boiled and the toast not toasted enough to stand up to the avocado. The chilaquiles was great flavor and a good portion. The ceviche tostadas were good.
Yummy, new, cute, clean, cozy new local place. The Huevos Rancheros are best!
Delicious food and excellent customer service.
Wow some dishes, Super delicious caceros style food the coffee Wow the staff Super friendly, everyone
The restaurant is very luxurious. I work in construction and I pass by a wet burrito. By the way, very tasty, the staff is very friendly.
Its a new mission Gem...
Huevos rancheros was dynamite
This placed moved in down the street from me and I now go there about once a week. They have amazing daily specials, theyre one of the only places that has mole Colorado that Ive been to in the US, and their poblano pasta is also amazing. Ive tried most of their menu and havent had a bad meal yet, everything is great. Theyre all so nice. Food takes a little bit to come out, about 20 min, but thats because everything is fresh and made to order, but its something to be aware of.
It s a nice and cozy restaurant. We ordered the chipotle eggs Benedict and the chilaquiles. The chipotle eggs Benedict were delicious. It was a very generous portion. The toasted bread that it came on top off was delicious, it was so buttery and the flavor did not get lost with the chipotle sauce. The sauce itself was also very good.
Such a cute restaurant with really delicious food! Chilaquiles and torta de birria were both wonderful
Huge, tasty portions at affordable prices. I love the friendly and homey vibe - a family restaurant in all the good ways and a great addition to the neighborhood. I wish there were dinner hours!
Good food and great setting. The Cafe Olla was really good and the service was great.
Chilaquiles Heaven! I had the most amazing chilaquiles! The perfect combination of crispy tortilla chips, tangy salsa, and melty cheese made this dish an absolute delight. The portion size was generous, and the flavors were spot on. Friendly staff and cozy ambiance added to the overall experience. Highly recommended for chilaquiles lovers!
Generous and tasty dishes. Excellent treatment.
Amazing chilaquiles and friendly service! Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!
The Roasted Chicken with Poblano pasta sauce is Divine!!
It was really loud inside, hard to have a conversation. The food was okay. Not much in the way of vegetarian options for lunch and the veggie birria wasnt great.
Very delicious food, very good service
Warm and welcoming brunch spot with amazing chilaquiles. The CDMX Plate was a nice sampling of sweet and savory!
Very small, but comfy place CDMX PLATE is the best! And theirs chilaquiles are the best I have ever tried! The 3 leches pancakes! Are In other words: el Mil Amores is the hottest spot right now! Simply the best!
Best chilaquiles I ve had! And French toast conchas!? Omg I only wish they had mimosas but it doesnt seem like they have their alcohol license yet. Can you imagine a fresa Fresca mimosa? Hopefully soon.
The food is amazing and delicious!!!!
The most under rated restaurant in San Francisco. This place is amazing!! Outstanding service & the food is phenomenal. Everything in this place is literally spectacular. Its authentic Mexican food. The prices are also very reasonable.
Easily one of the best breakfast experiences. The service was top notch. Their coffee was spiced up and delicious. I ordered the CDMX plate. Each of the tastes on the menu were unique and terrific. My biggest regret is that I was just visiting the West Coast so I cannot enjoy this restaurant more.
The food was wonderful! Owner delightful! The spiced Mexican coffee to die for! Highly recommend!
Fantastic food, atmosphere and service. Best breakfast in the city.
Small but snug and comfy. I love this cute place.
Ordered CDMX plate. Incredibly tasty. Owner is super friendly. Go here!
The staff is so kind and the food is amazing
The food is too rich and the quantity is exaggerated, I highly recommend it for brunch!
Cute, cozy, friendly staff, food was genuinely delicious. Line out the door on a rainy day for good reason. Will be back!
I found this Restaurant in San Francisco Google Maps. The place was highly reviewed. I took a look at the menu and I was intrigued by the items served and decided to go give it a try. I drove to 21st and Florida streets, I circled around the block a couple of times and finally found an empty space two block away. I opened the pink doors of the building and walked right inside, the lady serving the restaurant asked if I wanted to seat at the counter or that I was welcome to seat at any of the tables available. was fine. A large table for six people were just being served on the corner and decided to go for the CDMX plate, a blue artisan square plate was served with the goods, on the corner of the plate a small round casuela with crispy chilaquiles, salsa verde, sliced arranchera steak, onions, sour cream with queso fresco filled to the top all mixed well with the slight acidic flavor of the tomatillos and jalapeños that harmonized very well leaving a stinging sensation on the palate, next to the cazuela the scrambled eggs lie on top of soft country style potatoes with a ton of flavor. The incredible Mexican Torta on the other side of the plate made my day, a Mexican sweet bread stuffed with pastry cream and mixed berries right on top of it the perfect complement to my hot tea. Hands down the best rendition of mama used to make at home kind of food that makes you wanting to came back for more. The place is clean with a down to earth feel to it the lady serving the food was had a great attitude. I will definitely make this place my place to go next time when I crave for Mexican food. I only wish they will open for dinner sometime in the future.
