Decent enough, Draft was a little off. But the service made up for it.

Steak was over cooked, mash potatoes looked like minced garlic, vegetables were cold the only thing that was good was the salad.

Scroggies has always been our spot to go. We visited the other night and was a little disappointed. The BIGGEST point to make are the shoe string fries they are now serving. No restaurant, other than Mc Ds, should be serving shoe string fries. NOT enjoyable to eat at the price you pay at a sit down restaurant. Husband got a medium rare steak sandwich, which he always gets, it was cooked to medium if not almost well done and extremely grisly for almost $30! Still the best Caesar wrap in town. Jalapenos soup recipe has changed a bit but still pretty good. Service sometimes gets a run for their money at times because there isnt enough support when its a little busier. Mistakes in orders are a result of this unfortunately. Overall, I think with most places, quality has shifted with increased prices. PLEASE change your fries! The original fries were amazing.

Scroggies is a great local staple. Tuesday is wing day. And they are great wings. Stop in for a cold pint and some good food. You wont be disappointed. Food

Foods always top notch, small intimate place great for dates, never had bad service over years of staff, highly recommend for food! Parking: Not many spots, rather tight parking lot but nothing too difficult just limited space

Arrived and hour before closing, ordered drinks. Then waitress comes out to tell us that the grill is already off in preparation for closing so theres limited food.

Extremely reasonable prices for decent selection of food and seems to have a very loyal customer base. I was in from out of town for a birthday lunch and found nothing to complain about. It was busy at lunch and it deserved to be. Good eats and pints for a very fair price and extremely friendly vibe and service.

Went for a few drinks awesome staff and atmosphere definitely recommend it. The younger cute Waitress was very friendly remembered what I was drinking , she was definitely amazing at her job.

Shared the blackened chicken burger with sweet potato fries with my adult daughter, it was delicious and so much food we didnt finish the fries!

We have eaten there a lot but a recent experience was not good. Took a while to get service, got wrong beer, didnt know the wine, fajitas cold, even the skillet. Waitress went to put on table we said seriously dont even bother. Made us another but among other things there we just wanted to leave. Not acceptable.

Terrible. Saturday night, probably half full. Most people have already ordered/eaten, so the kitchen only had 2-3 eat-in orders to contend with. It took 1.5 hours for a hamburger, chicken sandwich, and chicken tender meal. Even when we got our food, we were not offered an explanation as to what the delay was -- just instantly told us 15 percent discount. The food was cold and bland. The service was essentially non-existent. No check-ins for us to buy another round, nothing. Will never return and will actively encourage others to avoid in the future.

Do you want to be judged by a drunk bartender. Couldnt even keep a sentence together power move low lifes like I have my smart as well and ymi dont think you can be a bartender when you smell of cocktails but thats just me

This place has gone downhill since new ownership. The food is not the same and the service is absolutely horrible. Will not go there again. So unfortunate

Best jalapeno cheese soup Ive ever had and it comes in either a normal bowl or a bread bowl. Myself, I prefer the bread bowl.

My husband and I frequent this place for little dates. Its cozy. We love the booths. Weve encountered two different servers who are both super friendly and make you feel like youre being taken care of by a friend. The manager works right along side the servers when it gets busy. My husband likes good food and good portions and is never disappointed. I go for my jalapeño cheddar soup in the bread bowl everytime. Thank you Scroggies!!

The only reason I am taking time out to do this review here is to give an answer to an unprofessional server who made a comment on us for not tipping. My dear, If I can afford a $150 meal, I can definitely afford a 20% or whatever tip. Tips support the fact that the service is great and friendly. If the servers do not serve with professionalism and tell you they are busy when you call them for placing an order after patiently waiting for 20-25 mins, you lose your tip. When you ask for a drinks menu and they literally throw it on your table, you lose your tip. When they do not attend to you properly and leave without even listening to your complete order and you have to get up from your seat to call them back, you lose your tip. Nobody minds waiting on a busy day but unprofessional service doesnt deserve a tip. I hope now you know why you did not get a tip! A tip is not your right. Its something you earn! PS: Its disgusting to ASK for a tip. Height of unprofessionalism.

Love their big juicy wings, Cajun Honey garlic mix is so good (try it). Tues cheap night and theyre still big. Hot flavour is hotter than suicide. Please change your suicide and make me tear.

Overall we love scroggies, but todays food was not good, from moldy lemons to sliced cheese and cold lumpy gravy for my wifes poutine and brown lettuce in the salad, Im not sure what cook was on duty but they need some cooking and prep lessons, waitress was very apologetic and did her best. It might be awhile before we return unfortunately. Its not that cheap to eat out anymore and you want to get your moneys worth

I ordered an All-Canadian burger.. the first thing i noticed is that it looked like it was breaded!.. it wasnt.. I would estimate that the patty was %50 or more breadcrumbs/filler... it was kinda OK and was more like meatloaf than a burger, that bread filling held a lot of grease. the peameal bacon was fatty and needed to be cooked longer. I would NOT order a burger from there ever again... The french fries where beautifully done tho.. others at my table seemed to be happy with their meals although one of our party waited a good 10-15 longer than the rest of the table for her food to arrive.. service was pleasant.. I bet some of their meals are delightful... but i have many other choices of restaurants in town where i dont have to take a gamble on a simple burger... I think Ill pass :(

Stopped in for lunch with a friend, it was so good! I had a Philly Cheese sandwich, my friend had the Chicken Parm wrap, both meals were delicious. Presentation, food and service 5 stars

Not really sure what this soup is but we had hoped for jalapeno cheddar soup. They said they didnt have it but could give us broccoli and cheddar instead if we wished. Sounded ok ..however.. if I didnt know better I would have thought it was jalapeno broccoli soup but very watery and void of flavour. Sorry to slam but money is tight and $12 for the soup was not money well spent. Hust saying

We gave this restaurant a try and to our amazing shock it was Awesome. Right from the time you walk in till you leave. I ordered corn beef sandwich and my wife order the Philly steak sandwich. It was so good. The waitress were so professional made our time here perfect. We will be back. Thank you.

The waitress remembered our table of 6s orders without writing it down and didnt screw up anything. I was impressed. And the food was excellent. We all enjoyed our meals, no complaints.

Waitress was super friendly. Great attentive service. Food was really good. Menu is extensive but not overwhelming. Was not very busy. Lots of physically distanced seating both indoors and outdoors. Staff were following vaccine passport protocols. Bathroom clean. Prices decent. Definitely recommend!

BEST WINGS AND NACHOS IN TOWN. Friendly staff. Close to city transit terminal. Perfect excuse to leave the car at home and go have a few cheap beers on tap. The booths are recommended when dining with friends. Otherwise find a spot up at the bar and make conversation with the bartender. You will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work.

We truly enjoyed ourselves, staff was great, excellent food, we all had something different. We went for lunch and on another day for dinner, Will defiantly be back, We all loved the atmosphere.

Server was run off her feet and being so was not friendly or mindful of us sitting there. We wanted another drink..she was nowhere to be found. We wanted more ice water...no where to be found. And when we finally got her attention it was like we we an inconvenience to her! She was curt and rude making feel like we had to hurry to make our order for food. Made us very uncomfortable at best. Her servicing was hurried and not professional. We only seen 2 girls serving and a male food runner. But..whwn our other guest arrived we had another man come to table saying he was a server! Where the heck wad he earlier? Anyway..rhw owner should have shown up when it was really busy. Oh well..food came out in good time...food was hot..and good wad good. The server only became chatty and nice to us when it wad time to pay. Bummer...wont be back and wont recommend.

SERVICE IS HORRIFIC! I honestly advise management to change the whole serving team as I had two waitresses help me and both had a terrible attitude. Never checked up. And gossiped about tables openly in front of other customers. The only positive would be the food but it s hard to enjoy a meal with such an immature energy in the air. They are in a town full of working men and think there jobs as servers is the hardest work out there. Really hope management does something about there serving team.

I come here solely for the Jalapeno Cheedar soup because of how good it is. Their other food is pretty good as well. I also like coming here because its not overly loud even when its full.

Havent been fir a while but went last night service was dreadful all starters came separately even forgot to put one order in no apology not even an excuse when we had finished dinner waitress left debit machine on table and ended up cashing myself out it wasnt even busy. Wont be going again. It use to be really busy but I can see why its not.

Great place to chill by yourself or with friends. Comfort food as well as healthy options. Great to watch the game and great neighborhood bar. Friendly and accommodating staff.
