Chose to eat here instead of making the trip to The Mandarin in London for a date night..BIG MISTAKE! Very little selection of food at the buffet and what food we did eat ended up giving us food poisoning. Not worth it & we wont be dining here again.

This was my first Visit to Vicyory buffet. The food and service was very good. Everything on buffet was fresh and tasty. Its a good find. Will most surely will return. Also a pretty restaurant :)

Went there a total of of 3 times. Every time we went there we have had pieces of hair in our food. I waited a few weeks thinking it would have changed. Only knocked $5.80 off the bill. The food is okay just check for hair

I placed an online order, however when I got at the time for when it said it would be ready they didnt have it. However they were able to get it together very fast and still offered me the discount for the online order which I appreciated. I have eaten in before and for some reason I just didnt find the food the same (weird I know) but Im always happy when I get the take out. Always hot and huge servings.

Mother s Day deals are a joke they charge the dinner price for the lunch so it s actually more. Cost us 75$ for two adults and two pops.

The buffet has a great variety to choose from and the food was pretty good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This was my first trip in & I was impressed. The good was plentiful, hot, a nice variety & it changed up even in the time we were there. Service spot on, atmosphere clean & welcoming. We will go back!

I have lived in the area for 4 years and did not know it was a Chinese buffet restaurant. Finally decided to drop by and check it out. Ordered some takeout and it was fantastic. I will definitely be coming back, especially to try out the buffet.

$71 for two dinner buffets is insane for what little they had to offer. When I first posted my review I didnt mention we are from the Indiana, US and our buffets are around $18 w/drink and there are so many options to choose from so it was a shock to see what little they had for they ridiculous price.

I went for dinner and the food was so good. They were quick to replenish buffet items and the food was hot and fresh. There was a good variety of food options. The servers were also very attentive, friendly and checked on us often to see if we needed drinks or anything else.

I don t know what happened to Victory Buffet. It used to be quite good. It s been awhile since we ve been here. To day it was not busy. The food that they did have out was barely warm. I mentioned it to the server and she just shrugged her shoulders as if she didn t care she wasn t eating anything. It will be a long while before we come back.

The service here is phenomenal. They are so attentive with your drinks. Theyre really good with refilling them. I also ordered a piña colada & it was made really well. Shout out to the staff.

Had delivery. Was pleasantly surprised. Rice was good, singapore noodles were better than any other place Ive had, including Mandarin, and broccoli and beef very tasty. The only complaint was the broccoli was less than el dente. Could have been cooked more. Will be enjoying this place again.

Great ordering and take out experience. Ordered for 6:00 pm Boxing Day pickup. They were great about needing an earlier pick up time when calling at 4:30.

There are two good things about this place and that is the staff and the price. For what you get the price is reasonable and the staff are lovely. However I think you might have a hard time finding a place that serves this bad of food in sarnia. Everything is cold, and the meat tastes like rubber.

This was a crazy busy night on new years eve and the girls waiting on staff were doing a fabulous job. The cook staff were killing it with the buffet and handling all the deliveries being put in. Hats off to this restaurant, fantastic job staff

Christmas eve - Worst place First upset, staff didnt adhere to closing timings and pushed us to finish fast. Second upset - Racism, staff didnt greet, cold behavior, behaved differently with different set of ppl. Thirdly, false advertising - charged more for Christmas (without notifying)

We had a wonderful birthday lunch today and it was lovely! The atmosphere had an upscale vibe, really welcoming. We were a group of seven and really enjoyed buffet lunch. From presentation to taste, everything was excellent! Thank you to our fine young host, kind enough to sing Birthday song with us and for their continuous assistance and making our sister s Birthday special.:) Highly recommend for a special lunch date!

Food was good overall. This is a great alternative to the big buffet places. They have variety. Favs: rice, shrimp, sushi, fish. I wasn t crazy about the desserts I tried(3 of them), too comercial, cheesecake is more a pound cake, the orange cake tasted fake, but the coffee mousse cake was good. Will come back to try more stuff.

Very nice inside, polite staff and great food. Loved honey chicken wings and chicken balls, so decicious. It was all tasty food. A big treat! Looking forward to going back.

Terrible customer service. Just got off the phone with them trying to book 22 people and they made it seem like they didn t want the business. For a tourist that s bad service and I don t even want to try it.

One of my favourite Chinese food restaurants, I really like the fried rice dishes and chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce. The service is always great and the food is always delicious. The portions are excellent and the prices are fair. I highly recommend eating here.

The food is divine and the wait staff are so kind. If I could I would give it a 10/5 stars.

They need to put money into the establishment. It is dated on the inside and falling apart on the outside. Service was so bad, that I was going to walk out before I started. Then waiting for 15 minutes for a bill that had to to be changed based o the 50% discount for a birthday meal. Food was bland and repetitive. Stay away.

Also Canadian food frys onion rings? if i wanted that i would go to a fast food place. very not happy with this place, tell the person she says ill tell the owner. tell them they lost my business for life.

Great place for a Chinese buffet. Steam tables are kept stocked but refreshed continously keeping the food fresk and not over cooked. I especially enjoy the sushi and sashimi table. Service was prompt but not excessive.

Great place, not too many Chinese buffets around anymore, unfortunately. The food is better than most buffets, and I appreciate the freshness of the food. If they keep the price the same and dont raise it, then I believe they will do well.

It was horrible worst buffet restaurant ever

Food was very good but I didn t like the fact that they use small plates and put out only a few pieces of each thing. Obviously it s done to make you self conscious about how much you take. Every time you take something the employees are starting at you. They also rush you out. Brought our bill before we had even got any dessert s. I don t like being rushed at a buffet. I will not return. And it s to bad because like I said the food is very good.

Took my girlfriend here because in the past the food was fresh and good made sure to go at dinner so the food would be fresh but that was not the case $40 later and nearly $4 for what would be considered a small pop at most fast food places is ridiculous the sushi was also slimy was not impressed Dont know if ownership has changed or if they have began to try and save money by stretching out how long the food could sit but nothing was fresh.

No need to drive to London. This mom and pop place is so much better. Fresh variety of delicious Canadian Chinese buffet with emphasis on seafood, done well. Service was very attentive. Upscale atmosphere. Well done Victory! We will be back!

Buffet had great service, reasonably cleanly and good enough options of good. Good was decent and well priced. A little too sweet but it pleases most people. Its not gourmet but children will love it.

Food was alright. But the service was what ruined it. Waited until almost our second plate of food to be given water. After having stacked plates my table had a mountain of atleast 4-5 plates that were sitting on the table for over half an hour. Before the plates ever even got taken the server came up while were eating and made us pay an hour before closing time. We paid she left never came back for our plates. Another 15 minutes passed and the plates still joining us for dinner as another server we havent seen yet comes over and tell me we have to pay. I tell her weve paid and she tells me that we did not pay because the receipt is still on our table. I then had to show the waitress my bank statements to prove that I had already paid. Overall probably wouldnt go again...

What a disappointment! The food was terrible what very little food there was. Most items where out and the few items I was able to snag where super old and grease soaked. This place use to be great. The last 3 times ive been quality of food has be less and less! This will be my last visit. We had a coupon and before tip was $61.50. I will ad my waitress was very nice and attentive. Thank you!

Decent price per person for the buffet. Food was actually better than some other buffets I have been to. Service was a bit sketchy, unexperienced staff and cheap on smiles and greetings. Wasnt a bummer but still could have used some joy I guess from the waiting staff. Great choice of meat, fish and shrimps. Variety was OK but nothing too fancy. Anyway, if youre reading this review because you looked up a buffet, Im guessing you know what youll be getting (not a three-star Michelin).

I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Victory. The food was tasty. I was very happy and content, as I could enjoy the varieties of food on my birthday with my cousins. The service was awesome. I got a 50% off on my bill as it was my birthday (only for the person). Also, students get 10% off with valid college ID. The breakfast buffet was $22.95 for one adult. The food was extremely undercooked. I ordered Cantonese chow mein and they delivered Cantonese lo mein. It was nasty.Both my wife and I were having stomach issues after eating. Both of us had only a few bites of the food. We ended up throwing about 90% in the garbage.

This place use to be great but every time i keep going the food gets worse. Waaaaay too expensive for the quality of food..... I got a refill on pop and wasnt even filled up i got like a tiny bit more. Although i will say that the staff was nice.

I didnt find the food to be very good overall anything Crab i had was good but I wasnt crazy about the sauce and all the other food i found below par. The weird thing was i was one of the first persons to get there and there was a staff member watching my every move. Then when i was eating i wanted a peaceful meal and the staff was yelling in the back , which made it less enjoyable. Any thing to do with the Mushrooms tasted like they had a pound of salt on them. Best part of the meal was the chcolate Ice Cream. I will not be returning.

The service was excellent, some of the best Ive had with very friendly waitstaff who were on the ball with refills and checking in. The food was overall quite good and a decent selection. We are so lucky to have this awesome buffet in Sarnia. Every time we are here, the food is hot, fresh and always being replenished. Everything from sushi, chicken dishes, beef and pork dishes, veg dishes, noodles, seafood, soup, wings etc and desserts from fresh fruit to cakes and ice cream. Really great variety and great value! My husband says they have the best coffee. The restaurant is always very clean and the staff is courteous and efficient.

It has been a while since Ive had a buffet dinner, and Victory Buffet did not disappoint!! Plenty of seating available, and the food was hot and fresh! There were so many options to choose, from sushi to fried chicken, rice or noodles even onion rings and fries - I cant forget the abundance of desserts to choose. The waitresses were amazing at making sure our table was content - we had our drinks refilled without asking and plates removed quickly (for the next round haha!) Will definitely be visiting again :) Vegetarian options: Salad Bar available

Everything I tried was really good. service was good too when I went to get another plate my last plate was already gone! Restaurant is clean. Buffet food was good. Blueberry cheesecake was still frozen so couldnt have a piece. Price is a little high. Definately not Mandarin Restaurant buffet, but the food was good.

Service was good, food not so much. Chicken balls like rocks, chicken on stick was dry, wasnt worth the price.

The servers were polite but the food was disappointing. The buffet has replaced their salmon with basa, which is a poor, cheap fish. Most of the items on the buffet were dried out and lukewarm. The chicken balls reminded me of golf balls with only a tiny piece of chicken in them. Finally, the price was much too high for a midday meal for seniors. We wont be back.

Great food, staff didnt bother us much which is okay but at the same time I needed to go and ask for another drink, the biggest thing that Im extremely disappointed in the mens bathroom doesnt have a baby change station in it, which needs change, because these days fathers need to be able to change their children without using the womens bathroom or relying on the mother to change the babies all the time.

Who needs a Mandarin when you have Victory Buffet. Our family went on a Saturday at 6:00 pm, place was pretty full, but we were greeted and seated immediately. The place smelled great, and the buffet in appearance was a match for any Mandarin. Many many choices from multiple chicken, beef, fish, vegetable dishes, to a salad, and fruit bar, dessert bar, and a sushi bar. Everything was hot and fresh, all of us took samples of about 15 different items each, and it tasted great. Green tea all around to complete the meal, too bad they did not have oolong tea, but no one is perfect, but this restaurant is pretty close. Update - We have now dined here 5 times in 3 months (weekends, and weekdays), each time food is fresh, hot and so many choices. Staff is always friendly. Now years later 2022, and post pandemic, food and service is continuously great.

Make sure you check your bill well. Took my nephew for lunch for his birthday and they charged him as adult and didnt give the birthday discount. A bit disappointed.
